Looking at how late it was getting, she decided they needed to head back to the ship. "Time is up," she laughed, pushing him off. It took a bit to get him off, he was holding his ground pretty well for once, it didn't stop her though. She stood up, brushing the sand off of her shirt and pants. She ran her fingers through her hair, getting as much of the sand out as she could. "You know, I think I should cut my hair, it's getting really long and unable to handle." She helped him up, beginning to walk back towards the ship, continuing to comb out the rest of the sand.

 

Sidney looked back at him when he stuttered a bit, laughing at his reaction. "Don't look so upset! I don't mind... I do mind it when I have to clean it out of me, I don't when you do it. Maybe just... not every time?" He didn't mind it as much, but it did get annoying when he had to clean it, something Sosuke obviously didn't understand. Nibo felt the flinch from Mina as he turned her over. But he figured she would relax once they stopped moving. Luckily she did when he told her he loved her and kissed her once more. He happily called out to her as he stepped beside he, walking back to the town and the ship.

Soon she would be stuck on a boat with smelly men, that included Sosuke, Nibo soon too. She wouldn't be happy about this, why did she do this? Smelly men aren't nice to deal with. He lifted his head and looked over at Mina for a minute before looking back at where he was walking. "It seems pretty funny that Souke became a pirate, don't you think?" His brother always used to play a game as one. But it never went any further. Then their family took in that pirate and everything went chaotic. Now he was one himself, the most notorious at that, and they were going to be sailing along with him. For now at least.

 

Sosuke had closed his eyes as the other continued the massage of his head. If he were a child, this motion would have put him to sleep in an instant. Then the other left, and Sosuke remained where he stood in the shower. He sighed out heavily and then he too decided to get out and dress. However, he walked out of the shower room naked and went to grab himself a new set of clothes. Then he left his cabin and would perform his duties as a proper captain before sailing off.

Maybe Nibo was right, it was a bit funny. "I can see what you mean though, it's almost amazing to see him like this," she laughed. They all started to travel somehow, didn't they? She was hitching her rides to islands, hopping from one to another. It was obvious Nibo had his own way of getting around. Sosuke had the pirate ship and a crew. It was almost amazing how different their lives ended up, but they still ended up doing the same thing. Crossing the seas. "I think it's amazing we found each other. We just happened to all end up on the same island. Each for their own reason, it seems like date set it up for us to meet again, isn't it?"

 

Sidney was glad to see everything was where it needed to be, though he was disappointed to find the budget he gave was spent more one the alcohol than the food. It would last the next island at least, then he would take care of the supplies next time. Balance out the money for food and alcohol. The men didn't understand how much food the cook a crisply needed to feed them, now they would have two more people coming on the ship. He didn't know how much they would eat. Mina didn't seem like a big eater with her physique but Nibo could eat a lot like his brother, or not. He was small in frame too. Seeing them side by side, the only way you knew they were siblings because of their eyes and nose. Everything else was completely different. Their height, their frame, even their hair. He looked around the rail, looking for the two. They were taking their sweet time. The doctor was evaluating Sosuke now, going to allow him to sail. They needed to hurry.

Nibo and Mina continued to walk hand in hand before they ended up reaching the ship again. Nibo thought about Mina's statement to where their lives ended up. "That storm must have been the sign for me. It looks like it might have been Sosuke's reasoning behind docking here as well. But it truly is amazing how we all felt the need, or ended up forced into coming to this island." Nibo smiled and looked up at the sky. Whoever was watching over them, perhaps his parents, perhaps God himself, certainly wanted them to meet again. He supposed it was their way of telling them to forgive and forget. He squeezed Mina's hand for a moment before loosening his grip, but still holding her hand. "I'm glad it happened though. Whatever our reasons were. We're finally together again, making our adventures come true this time." The day where they could live out their dreams was here. And Nibo was glad he had the two people he loved the most by his side. He had Mina to continue on with him, after they had sailed with Sosuke.

 

As soon as Sosuke had made his way to the deck, the doc had pulled him aside. The man claimed he had to check the captain, making sure he was deemed sturdy enough to sail again. He rolled his eyes with a smile. Sidney certainly spoke to him, he had to have. His attack wasn't anything to concern this much over, so he thought. But by the looks of things, not only did he scare Sidney half to death, his men found it frightening as well. Not only that, this had been the second attack they had witnessed or lived to tell about. He supposed he could put up with the doc's evaluation for a little while. It would only help him calm his nerves. "Those attacks of yours....they're getting stronger, you know?" Sosuke looked at the doc for a moment before standing up off the bed. "I'll be fine. Besides, it doesn't look like I have to hide them anymore." Clearly the doc wanted to say more. But with him having approved Sosuke's ability to sail, the captain wanted nothing more to begin sailing. He left the room leaving the doc in the medical room.

Mina laughed softly, pulling him towards the ship faster. "I'm glad as well. Really glad," she murmured, squeezing his hand tightly. "I really don't want to imagine life without you again. It was hard the first time. Now I have you both again, maybe it would be nice to sail with him for awhile, not just to an island. What do you think?" She slowed down their pace considerably, wanting to talk about this now. She left the choice up to Nibo and she would do it again, she at least wanted to hear his thoughts about this. It was a huge decision to make, it would take time. They had a while until they docked the nicest island she was going to, so he had time to think about it. Wherever Nibo went, Mina would follow. She was going to stay attached to him like Ran had, though she wouldn't be driven off by mud and bugs, or anything along that line. She was prepared for danger, was Nibo?

 

Sidney looked over to see his captain coming out of the medical room, looking quite pleased. The doctor must have okayed him to sail once more. As long as he was in a fit and proper condition, not having to worry about what happened the other night, he was good to let Sosuke do anything. He skip- stepped his way over the other, grabbing his hand. "As I was saying before you rudely made me quiet down, they both won't fit on the medical bed. Either we return to the hammocks and they get the bed, or one of them could be in the medical room and the other in a hammock, or you could put both of them in the hammocks. They would just need to be watched over, knowing the crew. I would probably take that job," he said softly, bringing the hand with the ring on it, kissing the finger tips down to the ring lightly. "Even the doctor wouldn't let them sleep together if they could, he wouldn't approve. It is his room, you have to be considerate of that."

He laughed as he was pulled faster towards the ship. He felt his hand squeezed a little tighter as she spoke up. His eyes widened just briefly before they softened. "I think I'd like to sail with him a little longer too. So far I haven't seen much of him since we met again." He burst out right after. "Ah! Not that I don't like spending time with you!" He laughed awkwardly as their pace remained quick. Soon enough it was slowing down when he brought up his opinion. "I just want to be with him a little longer. The two of us should still probably talk about our parents at least once." He didn't want to force his way back into the past, but he wondered, if just like him, Sosuke ignored to honor their deaths with a small gathering. He chirped up right after, looking at Mina. "But you know! Pirates always need someone to record their adventures. Who better then a scholar?" He winked at Mina as they continued walking.

 

As soon as Sosuke left the medical room, he spotted Sidney doing a his little skip-step towards him. He always enjoyed watching the happy gate of the other. As soon as he reached the captain he grasped his hand and spoke up. Sosuke laughed at Sidney's statement. Before he himself answered him. "Ah, I realize that well, now. I'm going to dreadfully miss our own cabin though." He knew he wouldn't be able to split the two apart. Nibo wouldn't have much of a problem with it. But Mina was completely different. And he was still against her sleeping with the men. "You won't have to watch either of them. I'll be putting both of them in the cabin." He smiled as Sidney brought his left hand up towards him, kissing his finger tips before kissing down his ringer finger. He was really going to miss having the cabin to themselves, but he would put up with it for now. Sosuke leaned his head down and kissed Sidney on his cheek, then his temple, and then the top of his head and back to his cheek. The feather light kisses he placed on the other felt as good to him as the deep rough ones they shared at times.

Mina snickered lightly at his little burst out, obviously worried she was going to get upset with him. She listened so closely, to him, her attention not once wavering. Knowing Sosuke, he would most likely be glad to talk more about the past, unlike she was in the beginning. She really didn't want to revisit something and open the wounds she originally had. That didn't end up happening though, they became scars, ones that were fading from her heart. She came to terms now, accepting everything that had happened, looking forward to a new future. She wasn't sure if she was willing to continue to talk about it though either, she would rather have her eyes stuck to the future. She brought up the happy moments with Nibo, but she wouldn't go into the events when they left again. Once was enough, twice would be just too cruel. She laughed when he brought up her keeping record of their adventures, shaking her head no. "I wouldn't. That should be your job instead, it's not what I want to do. My knowledge is meant for way much more than that!"

 

Sidney frowned, not happy that his alone time with Sosuke would be stripped. This as so unfair, he wouldn't complain though. It was just for a week and a half, hopefully. "I- I see, well, that's too bad," he mumbled. He really didn't want to let this get to him, it was only for a week and half, only for that long of time. That was way too long for him and comfort. Even if he didn't touch the man in a sexual way, he wanted to at least cuddle! The hammocks wouldn't work for that, only able to hold one person at a time or they would tear off the nail that was imbedded into them to keep them up. "Oh! You should give the crewmen a scolding. They wasted the budget money I gave them on more alcohol than food. We only have enough to last us until the next docking." He was desperately trying to change the subject, get his mind elsewhere than his feelings about losing the ability to sleep alone with his lover. No matter how much he hated it, this was going to happen. A small pout formed on his face, thinking too hard about it.

"Well, as happy as I would be if Sosuke had allowed me to stay and record his adventures. My life travels where you travel. And I doubt you'd want to live the rest of your life on a pirate ship." He laughed at his own comment. He could only imagine what Mina would do to change the rules of Sosuke's ship. Granted, he had no idea what they were now. But just knowing who Mina was, she wouldn't be able to stand half the things that go on on that ship. Still grabbing her hand he then picked up their pace again, this time turning it into a jog. "I'd like to see your records as well! To travel the world, discover new things! Can you only imagine!?" He laughed again as he continued their jog, soon enough they were reaching the town once more. He could see the ship in the distance. He stood in his spot for a moment watching it. "Well, ready? It's going to be one heck of an adventure just being on that ship alone." He smiled at Mina, a grin wide on his lips.

 

Sosuke let out a small laugh. "We'll both have to deal with it then." He wasn't feeling any better about then his lover was. He didn't want to not be able to touch the other. Hammocks just didn't do them justice. Perhaps he should invest in a couch for the men's quarters, in case situations like this came up again. Suddenly Sidney called out, announcing that the men had spent the budget money on more alcohol then food. Sosuke groaned at the thought and pinched his nose. They weren't running out of money, but alcohol was more expensive then food costing him several gold florins(Middle ages currency) then food at silver florins. "All right, I'll handle it later tonight. At least we have enough food until our next docking." He'd have tomake sure the men knew food was more necessary then alcohol, seeing how food helped you survive and rum didn't. Sosuke leaned down again and kissed his lover's cheek. "I'll make it up to you when everything is back to normal."

"You never know! I bet it would be cool to be a pirate, it's barely any different from my life already!" Mina laughed, trying to imagine herself being a pirate. She was intense enough to fit how they were supposed to act, though she wouldn't be able to fight as good with a weapon like she could in hand to hand combat. That might be an issue, she had good punches. Sosuke got a light punch that day, she could really hit someone and hurt them if she wanted to. Nibo wasn't one to take a swing though, that would just endanger his life alone. He wouldn't be able to kill someone easily either, that would be just as hard for him. Maybe being a pirate was a bad idea. When they broke into their joy, she frowned, she hates this already. They kept it up until they were into town, nearing the ship. She nodded when he asked if she was ready, already pulling him on the ship. "We're back!"

 

Sidney nodded, his bad mood still pretty obvious. He didn't like that he wasn't going to be able to touch the other unless they were in the prying eyes of the teasing crew. It wouldn't be happening often. The kiss on his cheek wasn't enough to satisfy him. He pulled his lover down, kissing him on the lips gently. He held it for awhile until he heard Mina call out they were back. Well, she was. Nibo hadn't graced his presence on the ship yet. The crew would get beyond curious, especially when the mystery boy looked like a scrawnier Sosuke. When Mina showed up they assumed her to be a bed partner, who knows what they would come up with Nibo being there. The crew immediately started to surround them, their eyes on Nibo. Sidney pushed his lover towards them, smiling widely. "You need to explain who he is or they won't let up. Go," he said as he laughed.

Mina was already pulling him towards the ship and up the bridge to the deck. He was in awe at how enormous it looked as he stood on deck. He flinched when Mina called out loudly, gaining the looks from the men of the crew. Nibo tuked himself slightly behind Mina. Sure he could be tough when he wanted to, but these men seemed as intimidating as Sosuke did. When they surrounded him they instantly threw out questions at him. "Girly here, we've already met. but who are you?" "How come we haven't seen you at all since wev' been 'ere?" Nibo stammered at their questions. "N-no, um....You see I- There's a-" Several more questions were thrown about until a voice called out behind them. ""All right! That's enough you dogs." Sosuke pushed his way through his crew and stood beside Nibo, the other relaxed slightly as he kept hold of Mina's hand. 'Listen, this guy here, he's my younger brother." The crew fell silent and in a mere moment they were all hollering at him.

 

Sosuke was pulled down by the scruff of his shirt As Sidney kissed him. Apparently unsatisfied with the feathery kisses. Sosuke didn't mind, he was all but glad to recieve such a kiss from the other. Especially out in the open like this. When Sosuke was about to slightly deepen the kiss when a 'We're back!' called out above the sounds of the crew. Sosuke could feel the other tense at the sudden interruption. He would definitely have to make it up to him later. Then Sidney started pushing him away, towards the two who started getting bombarded by the crew. He hesitated for a moment and then turned to kiss Sidney's hand a moment before he left. When he was close enough he then called out behind the circle. "All right! That's enough you dogs." Sosuke pushed his way through the crew members and stood beside Nibo. He rested a hand on the other's head and addressed the crew. "Listen, this guy here, he's my younger brother." He blinked at how quiet the crew fell, but suddenly they were yelling at him and demanding to know what their captain meant by this. Sosuke sighed, this was pretty much what he expected.
