"This isn't telling me you, no good pirate. Stupid captain," Sidney retorted to him, practically snapping at the other. Of course he would be mad, this was shameful to his pride on the ship. He didn't want the men to see him in this kind of vulnerable position. These were actions, not words. One's that got the navigator going dizzy from just simple touches. The breaths that started to come out of the younger boy's mouth were short and inaudible. If Sosuke wanted to play this game, he would play along, but he wouldn't give the other satisfaction of hearing him. This was a cheap trick the older man was playing. Sidney wouldn't have minded if it was in private, out of the way of prying of prying eyes, one's that would notice this at some point. His eyes kept wandering the ship, only to be relieved for a few seconds, as the men were preoccupied with their own business, before he'd repeat the step once more. He couldn't help but be frantic when he was in the way of eyes of the other crew. This was his family, he didn't exactly want them to see any sort of touching between him and his lover.

Mina laughed when the other pulled back to breathe, her hands dropping back to her sides where they belonged. She scratched her head nervously, unsure what to say or do next. They kept getting caught in a wave of misconceptions and miscommunications. Everything was just so hard for her to figure out, feeling like she constantly kept making the wrong turn each time. She felt so irritated that she wasn't able to keep herself calm with Nibo, instead just letting mere embarrassment cause her to push him away. How did that make him feel when he kept getting pushed and pushed? Surely it wasn't anything but sorrow. She didn't mean to push him away, it was her natural instinct. When someone gets too close, push them as far away as you can so they can't hurt you like before. She was naturally taking extra precaution being with Nibo, since he left her one, her mind kept warning her it would happen again. She would get betrayed by her lover once more. "I told you the kissing was fine." She rubbed it in his face, smiling widely back at him. Keep calm and move on.

Sosuke quietly laughed at Sidney's little retort of defiance. Sosuke quite enjoyed causing the other some sort of discomfort when it came to being in public. However, it might just have been, that Sosuke merely wanted to see all of Sidney's expressions, no matter where they were. He continued his roaming of Sidney's chest, a wide grin on his lips. He knew if he didn't stop now, there would be serious consequences. Whether from his lover himself, or from the crew down below. When Sosuke took in another breath of his lovers scent, he cushy the fresh and cold scent of rain. It was like the smell of wet trees and grass after a storm. But it was somewhere in the distance. His hands stopped roaming for a moment as he looked around. Then he saw the off in the distance clouds. By the look of things they didn't see, to be coming their way, nor did it seem to be following their path of navigation. Sosuke stood straighter, slowly gliding his hand down Sidney's body before exiting from under his clothing. Sosuke groaned, the one thing he wanted now, was another reason to stop them from sailing. "Hey, Sid, will that be a problem for us?" Sosuke asked his navigator just to make sure all was well. The most that would affect them, would be the harsh rocking of waves, but that was about it. If the storm didn't hit them.

Nibo was slowly gaining his breathing back. Not only had his first kisses been shared with the girl he's loved for so long, but this had been his first deep kiss. When Nibo was younger and battling his life for freedom, he had never really had time to think about love. But when he had finally managed to leave that life behind and travel on his own, he had started to notice things around him. Families running around in cities, couples just newly wed or just discovering their feelings caught his attention everywhere he went. And that only made him miss Mina more. So when they saw each other again for the first time in years, he wasn't sure how to react, how to control his feelings. He was glad that everything had managed to work itself out. And before he had known it, they were sharing their first kiss together. And just now sharing, what Nibo hoped was Mina's first, deep kiss as well. At Mina's little comment he laughed and pulled her into another hug for a moment. "To be honest I freaked out a moment when you pushed away. Sorry for freaking you out too."

Sidney sighed in relief when the other finally removed his hand, finally letting the other out of the hold. He took a deep breath through his nose, smelling the scent of rain that lingered in the air. He looked at the clouds when the other asked him, staring intently at the direction they were headed in. They didn't seem to be heading in their way, that didn't mea the wind couldn't change there course. It was a cumulonimbus cloud, it if changed course, they would need to prepare for a massive thunderstorm to hit. The navigator ducked out from under the arms of his lover, freeing himself from being trapped. His eyes followed closely as he thought about their predicament. They couldn't change their course in case they went into it, they couldn't go around it without knowing the direction it was heading. He frowned as his eyebrows furrowed. The younger boy was angry at himself, unable to give a proper answer to his captain. He should be able to figure it out, yet it seemed like it was just going to continue on it's route. The worst that could happen is they get hit with it, then that's dangerous as well. "I'm sorry, I can't say whether or not it'll cause trouble," he mumbled as he nodded his head before heading to the doctor's room. He felt embarrassed he couldn't figure it out. This was supposed to be the only thing he was good at on the ship, now he can't even try.

Mina laughed again, pinching his nose lightly. "Did you not hear what I just said? I liked it, I wasn't freaked out as you're saying I was. Instead, I was just nervous I'd do something to make you dislike it," her voice cheerful. She felt a twinge of guilt when her lover brought up that she practically pushed him away, even though that was never her first intention. She never kissed anybody like that, she just didn't want to be the one who didn't know what they were doing. Hell, Nibo was her first real kiss. She had plenty of kisses on her cheeks and forehead by many different kinds of people, but Nibo was the first to have kissed her on the lips. Pulling her hand away, she grabbed his in her own and began pulling towards the stairs to the upper deck. She wanted to talk with Sosuke and Nibo as much as she could before the hit the next island. She hadn't yet decided what she was going to do. She dragged Nibo over to the higher part of the deck where Sosuke was. Looking up at the sky, her eyes widened a bit. "It's so big. That's going to be a hell of a storm. It's on a nice path away from us, but if the winds pick up, I don't think it'll remain that way."

He felt the other slip from out of his arms, a loss he was okay with, since there was good reason for him to be slipping away. Sosuke watched between the the clouds and his navigator as the younger pirate tried to determine their safety from the storm. They had just been through one heck of a storm and only hoped that they wouldn't get caught in another. The man were already partly agitated with the later sailing and Sosuke didn't want to have to dock at another city because of the storm. Sosuke noticed the frown set on Sidney's face and his curiosity peaked. He wondered what would be causing this expression on his lover. Unfortunately his questions were answered as Sidney mumbled out that he couldn't tell by their course and the trouble it would cause. Sosuke reached out to assure Sidney that it was alright, but before he could do anything the pirate was bowing his head and leaving for the medical room. Sosuke sighed as he left, but he couldn't leave his post just yet and run after him. "Listen up men, storms brewing in the distance. Let's roll up the sails and be on our guard for now." He had just finished giving orders to his men when Mina and Nibo stepped up on to the deck where he stood.

Nibo threw his hand up once more as he tried to get his nose back from the light grip that held it. He chuckled as much he could without gasping for air. When she let go of his nose, Nibo scrunched up his nose as if he had an inch he couldn't get at. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to....its just that...your the first girl I'd ever kissed, so....I didn't know how you were going to react and thought, you freaked out." He scratched at the back of his head and looked away bashfully. Then he was pulled away, his hand grasped in Mina's as she pulled him back on deck. As soon as they got on top, Nibo could take in the slight chill that the day had now carried towards them. It wasn't warm like it had been when they first set sail. In the distance he could see a storm and noticed men running around the deck as Sosuke called out orders to them. Some men ran down into the quarters they had just come from. He continued to follow Mina up to the deck Sosuke was and watched in astonishment as she pinpointed the wind and its path if it came towards them. Nibo was impressed and by the look on Sosuke's face, he was too.

Mina cocked an eyebrow when they gave her the surprised looks. Was it that weird she knew about this kind of stuff? She did say she was a scholar, she learned plenty of things when she was sailing with other people. "Don't look at me like that! It's common knowledge to know this stuff. You should know this stuff because you're the captain of a pirate ship. Or do you just sail blindly into storms?" The question was rhetorical, she knew her childhood friend most likely did do that. It was hard to deal with thunderstorms, you couldn't always change course and go around them, it's not like you could just turn back either, they storm would still most likely catch up. You either got around them by lucky, they passed over quickly, the went into a different path when the win shifted, or you survived a rough night of heavy rain and rough rocking of the waves. If the storm hit, she would predict to be by night, allowing for no one to get proper sleep. This probably included her and Nibo as well, she wouldn't sleep well with the booming of thunder, or the shaking of the ship. Hopefully the storm did pass so she didn't have to deal with such a thing on her first night.

Sosuke and Nibo both cleared their throats at Mina's sudden demand of not looking so surprised. But at her demanding question, Sosuke straightened and cleared his throat once more. He coked his eyebrow, adding his own answer. "Well, normally yes. Sometimes the sea punishes you, and the storms come before you can see them." He remembered the time the pirate ship he stowed away on when he was younger got caught in a storm and only seven people survived. The captain gave up sailing then, unable to conquer the sea and her children. That was when Sosuke decided to become a pirate. He now had to reasons to sail. One, to give the government who killed his family a reason to put up a fight. And two, to show the men who gave up pirating, that the sea wasn't as harsh as they found it to be.

Nibo had stayed beside Mina as he looked at his brother as he spoke. "So are we in any danger with that storm?" He had been caught in a storm. That was the reason why he ended up on the last island, meeting up with the two once more. It wasn't awful where he was ripped off his dingy and left to pray to the skies to live. The waters were rough, yes, but the worse was the constant rain and that was about it. He wasn't very good at such things, but he had figured the real storm was in his opposite path and he had only caught the outskirts of the storm clouds. He shook himself from the thought and looked back up at the sky and the dark clouds running parallel with the ship.

"That's not always true, if you could read weather then you wouldn't be so blind when you go into one!" Mina smacked Sosuke's arm roughly, frowning that he answered the question, only coming back with more of an argument than not. There were always signs of a storm in one way or another. Winds, quick moving of the clouds, even heated nights could indicated there was a possible storm coming. Her best friend just didn't bother to learn it, apparently. She couldn't assume anything else if he didn't actually know where the storm came from. These were southerly winds, it was obvious where they came from, did Sosuke understand that? Maybe, maybe not. She might have to sit down and teach him, it's only proper to know those things when you are a captain of a ship. Blind sailing, how foolish of him. "Who knows. It may pass quickly and be a rough patch on the sea, or it may linger and then it's dangerous to be in. It all matters if the wind picks up or not. I can't say one way or another if it's okay to sail into it. Depending on how strong your ship is, is the answer that you'll be able to go through it or not. The winds will cause many rocking in the waves, perhaps ones that could throw men overboard. Your judgment call Sosuke. I'm not telling you one way or the other."

Sosuke flinched when Mina smacked him on the arm. "Ow! What!? I just....I had navigators who told me those things. I never really paid attention to it." He mumbled his answer as he rubbed at his arm. He'd rather be shot at again then deal with her hitting him...well maybe not, he hated seeing how worried Sidney was about him. Sosuke looked over the ocean and noticed the rocking of the waves. They weren't strong, but they weren't light either. The ship was already being rocked side to side. The ship could handle a storm, but that didn't mean you just sailed into one. They could anchor the ship and wait out the storm. But there was no telling when it would. And if the storm changed paths for them, then they didn't have time to pull up the anchor. He had no choice, for now they would continue their path. He called out to his men below. "Hands to the oars men! Those who aren't head to the quarters below the ship to escape the storm!" He then turned back to the two. "That means the both of you. For now follow the guys down below. Wait out the brute of the storm we will be hitting."

Mina sighed when the other practically kicked them to the lower quarters, right as they got up too. She huffed and began to pour, grabbing Nibo's hand as she pulled him towards the line of men making their way into the lower parts. She wasn't happy she was kicked out from the top, wanting to stay and see the storm herself. However, her childhood friend had different intentions than what she had. "He's so unfair! I should be able to be up top! I wouldn't be in the way either, I rarely get to see storms like that. He's so inconsiderate to my studies!" She complained as she laid on one of the hammocks, feeling the rough rocking of the ship, enough to make her feel sick. Maybe it was a bad idea to come on, she forgot how easily she got sea sick, hating the way the rocking felt. Returning back to land was too late for her to decide though, they had already set out. She kind of wished the storm was big enough to cause them to dock at another city, the constant rocking making her want to vomit. She grumbled, turning non her side and she held her stomach. Her eyes closed, taking deep breaths to calm the sick feeling she had.

Sidney followed the men out on the board, helping them get ready for precautionary works in case the storm did hit them. Though, it seemed to the navigator, Sosuke was almost sure they were going to get hit by the storm. How could he tell? He had never figured out the weather himself before, this was way too hard for him to figure out. None of the crew knew how to read weather conditions besides him. Was it Mina or Nibo? Probably Mina, Nibo couldn't read a map to save his life. Mina was a scholar so it made sense for her to have some knowledge of it. Once he had finished, he walked back over to Sosuke, sighing. He had failed if Mina got to the punch first, being able to point of the unfair weather they were heading into. Sometimes he hated how everything like that depended on him, taking it much harder than anyone else when he failed the expectations. "I assume it's going to hit us then? I'm sure it could, the winds are picking up enough to push it our way. Who told you? Mina wasn't it? I'm jealous, she figured it out before I even knew," he said through a meek laugh, looking down at the water. He loved the walking of the waves, it was a soothing feeling. Well, the calmer ones more then the rough of course. He almost broke a bone getting thrown halfway across the ship due to the rough movement of the ship. He never wanted that to happen again.

Nibo laughed as he was pulled away by Mina and when they had finally entered the quarters he came to stand beside her as she pouted. "Storms are amazing things to watch. But I know from experience, what its like to get stuck in one on the sea. Perhaps Sosuke was worried for our safety. With so many crew members to watch over, he wouldn't be able to tell if we got knocked over board. He would never be able to live with himself if that happened." Nibo wasn't sure how Sosuke actually thought about sending them down here, but he was sure he knew his brother enough that that was the reason he came up with. Plus they weren't the only ones, some of the crew that didn't help out were down here as well. Although it seemed most of them were locking chests and making sure things were nailed down like they were supposed to be. When Mina laid on the hammock, he noticed the small sounds she made as if she were getting sick. He smiled, and came to stand beside her to rub her back. This was how his mother used to make him feel better, so maybe it would work with Mina.

Sosuke didn't watch as the two walked away, he didn't have time to deal with Mina's pouts either. He wasn't sure the storm would hit, but he had to make sure the ship and crew was taken care of like they should be. He gave orders when needed and as soon as they were set for their course, Sidney came to stand beside him. Sosuke was a little nervous about how he would feel if he found out Mina told him about the storm. But he tried to answer his questions honestly. "The storm is on a path pretty well away from us. But if the winds continue to pick up like they seem to be doing, then it could very well hit us." He nodded. But when Sidney hit him with the question he was trying to stay away from, he flinched and sighed. "Yes, Mina told me. Seems like she's seen her deal of storms to learn a good amount about them." Sosuke frowned, just as rain started to pour down upon the ship. Sosuke had to ask in a louder voice to be heard over the rain. "Sidney....was it bad of me to have taken them on this ship?"

"Don't doubt what I know about storms. I've been caught in many too, I know how to handle myself!" She retorted back to the other as he began to gently rub her back. She tried to move away, disliking the feeling. She loved the touch but it was only making that sickly feeling in her stomach grow more then before. She grabbed his hand bringing it to her head instead. That would soothe ther more than rubbing her back, making her only want to vomit much more then before. "This is why I should be up. If I'm focusing on the actual storm, I wouldn't be focusing on the rocking of the waves. This is exactly I how I get sick," he grumbled, taking deep breathes to calm herself as much as she possibly could. Mina was glad Nibo was there, she would e felt awkward to be acting like his in front of many of Sosuke's crew alone. That though alone just sent shivers down her spine. Not a very good thing for her in situations like this.

Sidney felt so useless when the other confirmed Mina had detected the winds and the storm's path. She would be s much better navigator, seeming like the type to stay calm in these kinds of situations. Not the navigator, he immediately panicked if he couldn't figure out a simple movement of a cloud. That was his job, it was being pried from his hands by Mina. He hated her for taking Sosuke away, then he was fine when she got Nibo, now he hated her for taking his job without even realizing it. Women were scary creatures, especially Mina, that didn't mean he would back down for her. This was his, he wouldn't give it up. He never shared as a kid, he wouldn't start now, not with his most lorded treasures. His eyes widened slightly at the question as he rain began to start to pour, the sounds of plipping and splashing on the ship. "No! Why would you ask that? Because of a storm? Don't be ridiculous captain, you're doing a good deed for yourself and them," he said loud enough to be heard over the rain. His clothes were beginning to get soaked, sticking to his skin, his hair dropping wet. He tried to force a smile to reassure the man, but this anger and jealousy caused a frown to form instead. How would the other react to this terrible monster he was becoming?

Nibo couldn't help but chuckle at Mina's pouty display. He had rubbed at her back until she decided herself to reach for his hand and bring it to the front of her where he now touched her head. He took a step to the side where he could re-position himself better. Then he started rubbing his thumb, trying to calm her down. If she wanted to concentrate on the storm, then perhaps there was another way then just staring at it in person. "Well then, think about the storm instead. The dark, dark clouds growing heavy in the sky. Then suddenly it opens up and rush of rain envelops you in its wrath. It pounds against you, soaking you to your bones. Your hair and clothes wet and sticking to your skin. The wind has picked up, and it turns the air cold, it blows rain into your face and you can barely see. Then the thunderous roar of lightening. It strikes down, like an arrow lashing about. On land it burns things, on the sea it brightens the sky." He fell silent then, hoping that if he were able to calm her down, this would hopefully be the way.

Sosuke watched the expressions on his navigators features change over and over again. He couldn't even imagine what he was thinking about, but all he knew was that he didn't entirely like the furrowing brows of the other. When Sidney had declared over the sound of rain that Sosuke's bringing the two on wasn't a mistake, Sosuke thought he could truly believe those words. However, the frown that came after didn't do anything in making him feel better. Sosuke stepped forward just as one large wave rocked the ship. He nearly lost his balance, but caught it along with Sidney as he held the other close to him. "Don't hide anything from me, Sid. I don't want you thinking bad of yourself either." He pulled away just as the flash of lightening erupted from the sky where the storm swept in. They weren't yet near the storm, but it was bright enough to make him blink away the white spots he now say because of it. "Your my lover Sid, the man I chose to fall in love with. I may be trying to do good for those of my past, but your my future. Which means I have to do good for you too!" Thunder cracked over head, almost drowning out his voice as he called over it.

Mina hummed when the other began to describe the storm, closing her eyes to imagine it. It was hard for her to do get the images as clearly as Nibo described, but she could imagine the breeze more so, most likely because there was a small breeze in the room. The rocking of the waves kept pulling her out of her little created images, opening her eyes as she had to take more deep breaths to calm down. She pushed the hand away, only to pull the other into he hammock with her once she shifted and made more room for him to get in. There was a creaking of a nail having to hold too much weight, yet, it didn't give when another amount of weight was added. "It's not working," she mumbled unhappily, snuggling into him. The rocking was more tolerable when she had her lover there at her side. The warmth easing the sickness she was feeling from the rocking of the rough waves. Perhaps she could even sleep, even with the loud booming of thunder.

Sidney laughed when the other stepped forward, only to be caught in the rough titling of the ship, causing him to fall and grab the navigator for balance. That light hearted laughing only lasted for a bit when the other asked him not to hide anything. He heard every word spoken, but it only made him feel worse. Sosuke was showing nothing except love towards Sidney, and he was being greedy about it, wanting the man to look at no one else. He navigator was being unfair to be demanding so much that he didn't deserve. It made a sickness form in his stomach, guilt overwhelming him entirely. The ship rocked again, causing Sidney to fall back and stumble, trying to grab the rail for support. When he gripped his hand tightly, the water made his hand slip, causing splinters to enter his hand. He winced as he put it behind his back, he'd worry about it later. "I'm not hiding anything! It's fine, I promise! You worry too much. Everything you're doing is building that future you want for us. Don't worry, it's good to keep the past kept up as well!" He laughed as he winced with the rain hitting his hand, the burning from the splinters starting to take over his entire wrist and below. Not high but a fiery pain, a perfect image of his feelings.

Apparently his descriptions of the storm wasn't helping her. Or the tossing waves were just to strong for her to concentrate, because Nibo was suddenly pulled closer, nearly pulled into the hammock. He mangled to catch his balance before he stumbled into it, but once he did, he climbed in beside her. The walls holding the hammock up by a mere nail creaked under his eight, but miraculously it held. He positioned himself where he could pull her tight against his chest. He felt her warm body shaking from the sickness she felt and he Ted running his hand through her hair. "It's alright. Deep breaths. Listen to my own breathing, my heart beat. Match yours with mine." The only reason he knew what he was talking about was because he had watched his mother do this to Souske the one time he had witnessed one of his panic attacks. It was only that one time, but it left a forever memory in his mind. He couldn't believe that his brother, who hid his weakness from many, was the most infamous pirate on the seas.

Sosuke held on to the other in his grasp as he waited for his answer, the ship rocked again and Sosuke let go of Sidney with one hand and held on to the ships wheel behind him. When their balance was restored, he caught Sidney throwing his hand behind him. He was unable to say anything right then, because Sidney managed to answer him. "I only worry over those I care about Sid! Family, crew or my lover, it doesn't matter. I don't want you to think that your not important to me! But it means nothing if I'm the one causing them to hurt!" Another crack of listening and a thunderous roar sounded above them. Sosuke noticed the small wince from the other before him and he grasped his arm. "Your hand, did you hurt it?!" The rain was picking up and even the wind was growing stronger. At this rate they would be hit by the storm. It was the gods didn't want them sailing. But Sosuke was determined to go against their wishes.

Mina did as she was told, focusing on his breathing. It wasn't doing her much justice, it at least got rid of the feeling of wanting to vomit. That would be embarrassing if she did that all over her lover. The feeling of her lover's hand going through her hair soothed her as much as it could, making her feel good about the simple gestures. "I'm good now, thank you," she mumbled, nuzzling her face into his shoulder. Maybe it was a good idea to be down here, he rough rocking smaninv the storm must have been horrid. "I'm worried. Are they going to be alright up there? This storm doesn't sound the best. I'm worried, we should go check up on them Nibo. I'm not sure Sosuke knows how to handle in this kind of storm." She tried to shift away, but his arms remained tight. She was starting to get really nervous when the winds seemed to have picked up, the ship rocking a lot rougher this before. This really wasn't good, they should head back. Going through this storm was life threatening.

"I'm fine! Stop it! Sosuke!" Sidney yanked his arm away, a deep frown forming on his face. This was t the time for their petty lover's quarrel, they were heading straight into a storm. Was this Sosuke's decision? This was the stupidest one yet, it was too hard of a storm to just pass through. People could die, the ship could get ruined, too many things could happen if they went starlight in. Was it worth the risk? Maybe, maybe not. He didn't have an answer for that at all. "There's more important thi sh than his right now! Focus on your duty as captain!" He shrieked his words out, heading into the lower deck to help some of the men who were close to falling overboard from the tilting of the ship. It was getting worse, the movements more sporadic. He kept pushing the splinters farther in, his hand beginning to bleed. It didn't matter. Right now, he needed to ignore the pain and focus on the dangers at hand.

Nibo continued to run his fingers through her hair until she mumbled out that she was feeling better. Although the his fingers stopped moving, he didn't pull his hand away. Even when she pushed her face into his shoulder, nuzzling against him. He held her to him in a tight hug that he loosened soon after. But as soon as he had loosened the hug, she began squirming, trying to free herself. Worried that Sosuke and the crew were in trouble out on the deck, she tried pushing herself away from Nibomto go help them. He held her in his arms, tightly securing her in the hammock. "There's nothing we can do for them, besides he's got Sidney. We would only be in the way. And I'm sure they've sailed through plenty of storms before." Just as his sentence finished a few men came bursting through the door, panting. As soon as they had sat down, other men took their place and ran outside into the storm. It wasn't long after however that more men came running back in, but made sure that no one else left after them.

Sosuke frowned when Sidney yanked his hand away. Sosuke didn't like the way the other was acting, but instead of causing anymore of a ruckus he stayed quiet, only narrowing his brows in the hidden anger he suppressed. At Sidney's shriek above the raging storm, he left to the bottom deck where he helped the rest of the crew. Sosuke growled in frustration as he watched the other heed his hands in the air as if he were defeated. "Fine I get. Clearly you don't want me to sail!" He yelled up to the sky, which was darkened with the wrath of the storm. The storm grew strong and nearly washed his men off the deck as waves crashed upon his ship. He would sail back, but he would let his men rest. He made his way down to the lower deck, grabbed a man or two as they stumbled and fell and told them to get below deck. Without a single word more he began climbing the mast on his own. He'd rather endanger his own life then the life of his crew as he had already.

"Nibo! What if they're in trouble? I know what I'm doing! Let me go!" Mina once again snapped at the other, her worries growing stronger. Trying to free herself from her lover's tight grip, she gave. Hearing the men come through the door, that wasn't s good sign. There only seemed to be a small amount outside, which included Sidney, Sosuke, an one or two of the day of the crew. That had to mean the idiot was doing something stupid like he always did when he got too over protective of everyone's life except his own. "Let me go, what if he's doing something wrong? He barely could figure out the weather and its course of action! This ship isn't built for a storm like this! He needs to dock immediately before the ship starts to break! I need to tell him, Nibo!" No matter her pleas or struggles, she was stuck, fearing for the life of her childhood friend. She shut her eyes tightly, trying to imagine it all was well. There was no way that was true, something was wrong. It was her gut feeling, which was rarely ever wrong.

Sidney had some of the men follow the others back down into the lower deck, only to find more comic bout. They barely could keep balanced, sending them back to the lower deck as well. It was only him, his captain, the doctor, and the oldest member on the ship facing the storm. He froze when out of the corner of his eye, he saw his lover climbing the mast, panic immediately kicking in as he rushed under where the other was climbing. He had a hard time keeping himself up right but he was too worried to care if he got thrown over. Right now, his lover was in much more danger than he was if he fell into the sea. "Captain! No, Sosuke! Get down! That's dangerous! Please, come back down! Don't be a fool, you could slip!" He was screaming as loud as he could over the cracking of lightning and the booming of thunder. He wasn't even sure if Sosuke had heard him, if he did, he was ignored. This was too dangerous, it was too slick for the other to be climbing the mast. He could stand watching this, shutting his eyes, worried he was going to see the other fall.

"Just because you know how to read a storm doesn't mean you know how to ride through it on the deck of a ship!" Nibo was growing just as anxious as she was. But his grip around her held tight and wasn't letting go. Not even he himself had been stuck in a storm this bad. And he wasn't about ready to risk his life just to pace around unable to do anything. "He can handle it I'm sure. Maybe he's already starting to turn the shop around!" At the sudden rise of his voice, some of the men looked over at them. "Lassy, in this weather you be best staying down here. The captain has things under control, he has." Nibo hated to think that his brother was out there risking his life for an entire crew of men. But after the story he heard of his brother getting shot, he was sure that was exactly what his brother was doing. But besides have faith in him, there was nothing more he could do. More men came rushing down into the quarters, and he was sure that just about the whole of the crew was here now.

Sosuke was climbing the mast with a fair amount of ease. It was slippery with rain and sea water, but above all he was able to climb up the silver pegs on either side of the mast. The roar of thunder raged through the sky, and he was sure and some point he heard the small squeal of his navigator. But there was no time to look down and confirm. The rocking of the ship made him slip off the pegs a few times, but he kept his hold. More then half way up the mast, he found his coat weighing him down as he climbed. He stopped for a brief moment and slipped his coat off one sleeve at a time only to let it fly off into the dark sky. The wind slapped him in the face once he found footing on the first sail hold. But when the ship pitched forward from a wave hitting them, he lost his footing and soon found himself hanging from the sail hold with both arms and one leg holding him from falling. "Fuck!"

"Fine! If something happens to be him because you wouldn't let me go help, you'll see my true wrath," she mumbled unhappily, wrapping her arms around Nibo to pull his closer. Mina didn't actually mean what she said, she could never hurt the other that bad, she loved him too much. Which made him a lucky fool. If she didn't love him this much, she wouldn't hold back on beating him up. This didn't change the fact she was upset he wouldn't let her go hell her childhood friend, maintain sure he didn't do anything foolish. No, Nibo made sure to keep her there, for that, when they finally reached calm waves, he was going to be ignored as much as she could manage. This meant she would make him sleep on his own once more, only for tonight would she allow for this. She had no choice, she needed a source of comfort, Nibo happened to be there. She was thankful he was finally there when she needed him the most, not having to worry all by herself.

Sidney heard the small voice being covered by the loud booms of thunder, opening his eyes to see his lover was dangling, practically about to fall. This was exactly what he was trying to warn Sosuke about, an idiot he was. Sidney went into action, climbing up the mast as fast as he could. He slipped a few times, pushing against his raw hand full of splinters, causing squeals of pain to rise from his throat. This was nothing, he wouldn't stop until his lover was out of danger. He climbed up under his captain, helping him replace his dangling foot back on one of the pegs. "You're stupid! So very stupid! You we're lucky I was here to help you!" He didn't climb back down, staying under Sosuke to ensure his safety. No matter how upset he was, he still had his lovers back always.

Nibo had remained silent. There was nothing more he could say to her that would calm her down now. She was angry, upset that he held her against her will, unable to go on deck. But there was no way he was going to allow it. The storm was worse, that he could tell. The fact that it just pitched forward, sending most of the men in the quarters with them against the wall proved that. There was no way he was going to let her risk her life just to tell his brother how to direct his own ship. He internally apologized to his brother. Nibo pulled Mina closer to him as they waited to get to safer waves.

The rain was making it hard to grip anything, and unable to keep his foot rooted, he kept slipping. He hadnt even noticed that Sidney started climbing up, until his foot was grabbed and he was pulled back to safety. He looked up at the one who helped him and heard the yell of his lover beside him. His shoulders tensed and his eyes widened. "Dammit, Sidney, get back on the deck! Its too dangerous up here!" Dangerous, and yet he contradicted his words and climbed up the mast anyway. But truth be told, he was fine with risking his life. Just not his crew's. Especially Sidney's. Hed be damned if he caused the other's wrong doing. "Hurry, get back down and get under deck! Have doc look at your hand while your at it." Sosuke inched his way to the end of the sail post and untied the first rope.

Mina was unhappy, jabbing her fingers into Nibo's shoulder blade every chance she got when the got rocked in the hammock. There was no point in hiding it, they both knew how upset she was from this happening. She became very bratty, continuing to try and inflict a small amount of pain on the other. She already knew he wasn't going to let go, this was clear, that didn't mean she was going to be nice to him either. Just because he wouldn't let go didn't completely take away the fact she could hurt him. At least she wasn't yanking on his ear like she has multiple times before, though she did consider it a few times. That could wait when they were in safety. She'd give his ear a really good yank and then ignore him until she felt he was punished enough for holding her back. She hated being told what to do, going against everything and anything someone would say that told her what to do, she hated it. Nibo wouldn't get any special treatment, even if he was her lover, she still hated it all the same.

"Don't you dare scold me! I just saved your life!" Sidney was still snapping at his lover, clicking his tongue as he slowly climbed back down, willing to follow at least that order. Once he felt his feet touch the stable ground of the ship, his hands let go of the pegs on the mast, only to be thrown sideways on the ship, landing on his hand. A burning pan erupted through his entire arm now, gripping on it tightly as he held his breath to keep himself from screaming out in pain. He wouldn't do anything else until he made sure his lover was safe. The young navigator stared up at Sosuke, holding his arm in his hand. He couldn't move his hand or fingers, assuming that he had broken his wrist bone from landing on it. Not only did he have splinters wedged deep into his hand, he now had broken the wrist from being reckless. He was on a roll today. Tears started to flow from his eyes as he took deep breaths, trying his damnedest not to focus on the seering pain in his arm. At least with the rain, it would be impossible to see him crying.

The jabbing hurt, that was for sure. Mina made sure it did. And with each violent rock of the ship, she'd jab a finger into his shoulder. He wouldn't be surprised if he formed a beautiful bruise or even lost feeling in his shoulder. He was glad it was the blunt of her finger too, and not the sharp of a nail digging into his skin. But no matter what pain he was in or would be in, he continued to hold her as they swayed without stop, in the hammock. "You can be mad all you want, but this time you know I'm right. How exactly would you direct Sosuke out of a storm if you were tossed overboard with no one knowing?" Nibo was not going to give in to her angry protests. On a normal basis, probably. But not this time.

Sosuke didn't even have time to make a remark at the navigators quick snap, before the younger pirate was climbing his way back down the mast. Nor did Sosuke have time to make a remark. He had to get this sail down and quickly. He wouldnt even have time to climb over to the second sail. So the ship would have to do with just the one, and hopefully it would hold. When he'd untied the sail and let it open, he instantly regretted his hold on the post. The wind took the sail in an instant and forced the ship backwards. Sosuke lost his balance again, this time he landed hard on the sail post and managed to wrap his limbs around it for support. When he gained balance, he climbed back down and instantly met face to face with Sidney who waited for him. Sosuke instantly noticed how he held his arm. "Sidney, what...?"

"Don't make it sound like I'm so easily defeated. I may not be a pirate, but I've been sailing long enough to understand what to do," she pouted, continuing to jab her fingers at him. It was normal for Mina to throw her temper tantrums, usually getting her way when she did. She hates it when her lover wasn't willing to give at certain points in time, pushing her buttons to make her obey instead. This had happened twice in the day, getting his way about talking with them about his past, now this. He was putting her in her place, something she didn't like. The whole reason she was thrown out of her home was because she was the rebellious kind, now the other had somehow calmed that side of her just enough to get a grip on her. "You aren't allowed to sleep with me anymore, I take it back. You get to stay down here with Sidney and Sosuke. I hope you get no sleep with how loud he men can be." This was her only way of putting up a proper fit, make jabs at both the body and the heart. She would regret this later, right now it didn't matter what she said or did, she was just angry. That's all there was to her feelings, anger. Simple minded anger.

Sidney watched the other like a hawk, a quiet scream erupting from the back of his throat when the other almost fell once more. He was screaming from his fear and the pain that grew stronger in his arm. It was as if he was being stabbed by multiple knives at once through his entire arm, the pain not letting up no matter how much he tried to ignore it. He sighed in relief when the other made it down safely, the lucky idiot. However, the smile he had formed dropped when he noticed the other's eyes on his arm. His own dropped to the arm as well, his lips becoming a thin line. He looked back up at the other, forcing a smile. "I'm fine. Don't look so worried, it's alright," his voice raspy and hushed, pulling his arm closer to himself. All he needed was the other to scold him for not listening and getting himself hurt. Nor did he need the other to completely freak out and beat himself up over something minor. A lot worse could have happened. He could've broke his leg, or hell, even his back. He tears started to flow out harder as the the pain intensified, needing relief soon. He just needed to wait until the other left him be, hopefully that was soon.

"I wouldn't expect any less of you. But still, there's always the slight chance of something happening to even a skilled sailor. Besides, im pretty sure Sosuke has us both beat with how long he's been sailing." He smiled to himself as he knew he made another good point. Of course, at this point it probably wouldnt matter. In fact, he was sure Mina wouldnt let it matter. And would only continue her jabbing assault on his shoulder. Her next words had him staring at her, blinking on occasion. There wasn't much she could say. Clearly she had made up her mind. And although he was pretty upset and disappointed that he couldn't share a night with her, he did nothing to protest against her decision. "I think i should be able to handle the snores of another man."

That was clearly a forced smile, even a child could tell it was. Fine? Dont worry? Did the other truly consider himself "alright"? Sosuke frowned at Sidney for a moment, but as the other hugged his arm even closer to his own body, Sosuke decided to speak up. But not to Sidney. Just before another crack of lightening shook the sky, Sosuke was able to call out to the doc. He and the last crew member, who had also been watching the captain's acrobatic act, came running over to the two. "Your jobs done, get Sidney's arm checked and head down to the lower deck. Ill take it from here." He didnt even wait for a protest from the others, and he was in no mood to listen to one either. He stomped off to the wheel of the ship on the upper deck and instantly turned it so that the ship was facing where they had just come from.

"That's too bad. Surely I need to sabotage your sleep myself then," she mused, pulling her hand back once her fingers were getting tired. She would cease the fire on Nibo for now, that was only for the rest of the night. She would start to fire her own cannon again once morning came. Mina looked at the other, before shifting herself in a better position to kissing him roughly. This was only ending for the night, that allowed for her to do this much at least. She needed to get as many touches and kissed as she could before he decided to completely go against her lover and ignore him. It would be painful for both of them, they didn't mean she was just going to let it go. She would deal with her own unhappiness if it meant she felt like she was giving Nibo just as hard of a time. She nipped at the lips roughly, pushing her limits with the teasing kiss. Once she had finished, she pulled back, turning on her side to face away from her lover, closer her eyes. No more words would be shared between them from now on until she was satisfied.

"No wait! Doctor! No! Ow! Stop!" Sidney's voice was high pitched as the doctor pulled on his wrist before dragging him into the doctor's office. Before he could say anything to Sosuke, he was in the doctors office, pouting. The other kept yanking on his wrists, twisting and turning it. He instinctively smacked the doctor's hands away multiple times, only to find them back in position. It was extremely painful, is this how Sosuke felt when he got shot and the doctor kept poking and prodding at the injury? This was horrible. Once the medicine he had taken kicked in, it numbed the flesh burning pain. This allowed for the man to start pulling out the splinters deep in his hand. He got nothing but a scolding for being reckless and ignoring the injury from the start. The door to the outside of the deck was closed for their protection, the man finishing up his work as he made the best cast he could with a splint before he put his arm in a sling. This was going to be so horrible, it would be hell to work like this.

Mina awoke extremely early after finally falling asleep the night before. She climbed over Nibonas she followed the men up deck, finding that they were back at the harbor they had been before they left. That's good, Sosuke had turned them around due to the dangers of the storm. She was worried for nothing. She saw her childhood friend standing there by the wheel, looking out at the sea. She walked over to him, elbowing his arm slightly. He seemed completely fine, no damage was taken from the storm, something she was the most grateful for. "A wise decision was made," he approve of the other, smiling up at him. Just when she was about to ask him about the storm, she heard a whining coming from behind her, seeing Sidney stumble out with his entire right arm bandaged and in a sling. She frowned, giving him a look of sympathy. So someone did get hurt in the mix, too bad it wasn't Sosuke for making a dumb decision. She nodded to the other, walking away to let the two talk in case they needed privacy.

Sidney awoke early, the pain in his arm returning. He whined and hissed at the fire burning through his arm, having to get another dose of the nasty medicine. While he was waiting for it to stop hurting, he got up to leave the room. Not without an argument with the Doctor of course, who yelled at him for even trying. Now he truly did know how his lover felt when he was shot, not wanting to sit still and lie on a bed. Since it was just his arm, he ignored the other, walking out of the cabin. He whined with the pain that continued to spread through his arm, seeming to intensify just as it had the night before. The navigator watched Mina walk away from his lover, though he had no intention of approaching him. He was upset the other had scolded him the jught before, as well as the minor arguments they kept getting into. What was he doing wrong? Why did he need to keep angering his lover? He leaned against the rail with his left arm, his eyes staring out at the ocean. When would they be allowed to leave with no problems? He hated it when they weren't sailing, the feeling of freedom vanishing.
