Katsumi is, frankly, just not a friendly person. He has a few close friends whom he adores and would protect with his life, but he has no desire to expand on his current group of friends. He's possessive and protective of those friends, but shows no compassion towards others. He simply doesn't understand how certain people can have lots of friends--being kind or being in large groups for long periods of time is exhausting for him, and consequently he comes off as quite rude.

Katsumi sat at the edge of the cliff, his backpack laying several feet away from him as he held his precious camera precariously to get the perfect shot of the waves in the sunset. The last few tourists had wandered away from the beach by now, and while he was sure he had enough pictures for his project, being alone with his camera and his thoughts was oddly pleasant. No pesky classmates, no frustrating telemarketers...just him and the water.

 

Of course, the student got only a few more moments of quiet tranquility before he felt himself being pushed. He struggled for a moment, twisting for long enough to see the face of the boy who had, one year ago, seemingly declared him an enemy after Kat had pointed out his blatant plagiarism in a work he had submitted.

 

"Bye-bye, Kat" was all he managed to hear as one final shove sent him plummeting. He was still for several moments after his body hit the water before he began thrashing, trying to make his way to the surface. The waves were strong, though, and it seemed that whenever he was almost going to make it out, another large wave knocked him back down.

Personality: Poseidon is a very moody person. He could be in a really good mood or in a devastatingly bad mood. In his good mood, he can be a really nice god. In his bad mood, he is a terrifying god. He is also really greedy no matter how petty he desires something.

Poseidon was stirring with rage. Why he was stirring with rage was a mystery to his worshipers as they scurried around trying to alleviate the damage. He was smashing one of his many domains apart and creating a large whirlpool in the process. His wife... OH HIS WIFE! HIS WIFE WAS MISSING! Someone had taken her away! HIS wife! HIS DEAR, DEAR, DEAR WIFE AMPHITRITE! Who dared to take her wife away? Away from the EARTH SHAKER, THE GOD OF THE SEAS, THE CREATOR OF THE HORSES, THE GREAT POSEIDON?

 

"Look! Upon the surface! There is a boy!" Cried out of one of his servants.

 

Poseidon quickly shot his eyes up to see a boy struggling to escape his domain and his anger quickly burst into a deadlier flame. This human boy was trying to run away with his wife. That's what was happening! He growled in rage and swung his trident in the boy's direction, conducting the water to suck the boy closer to him. Once he had this human into his hands, he would demand him to tell him where his wife was and what intent he had with her.

 

No one was to have his wife. Only Poseidon could have them. Only him.

Panic hit Katsumi as he felt himself only being pulled farther down into the sea until eventually he was in the grasp of some creature. He couldn't particularly open his eyes in saltwater, nor could he breathe, and ergo he assumed some large fish with odd fins had caught him. He kicked at the creature, but with the lack of oxygen and the odd water pressure, he couldn't get in any hits hard enough to hurt a human, let alone a god.

 

He screamed, only succeeding in getting saltwater into his mouth. And yet it was as if he was breathing air in--the taste that would've had him vomiting if he was at the beach on a normal day seemed bearable, and while it wasn't the same as breathing on land, oxygen was somehow reaching and exiting his lungs as usual. He warily opened one eye and then the other, noticing to his surprise that it didn't burn and, better yet, it didn't blind him. It did, however, leave him able to see the large, clearly pissed man who he had just been kicking.

 

He looked up at the man, trembling from fear. He had to be hallucinating...it was the lack of oxygen, certainly! He blinked several times, but the image before him didn't waver. After several long moments of dread he fell unconscious from fear and oxygen deprivation (although he could breathe, the motions were new and awkward and had all but forgotten to, going limp in the angry man’s arms.

Poseidon had the thief in his very arms but it wasn't anything how he thought it would be. He thought that the human would willing oblige since Poseidon was a god but he thought wrong. He had been away from humans for so long that he never expected one to defy him. It was absolutely insane! Who in their right mortal or immortal mind would ever consider disobeying with such.. Such... Such savage tactics of kicking him! It just rattled his rage even more.

 

Before he could even huff out a word, he was stunned to see what had happened. The human... The human was able to breathe underwater! It was already outrageous that the human was to escape but to see the human breathe underwater was even more outrageous. He didn't understand how but who really knew these days? Poseidon was off doing his godly duty in the sea and causing earthquakes whenever he felt like he was boiling over. There was also the fact that there was always magical powers in play but it wasn't possible... No, no. He couldn't think like that. There was always a possibility that something strange would happen.

 

His emotional self simmered down into a calm manner and he took a sigh to release the anger bubbles. "Send him to Atlantis." He ordered as he allowed the man to fall onto the shell of a sea turtle. "Make sure he stays there until I get back. I need to find my wife before my brother finds out."

 

With that said, the loyal turtle carefully swam to the great Atlantis city.
