need suggestion for goog bl novel!

hi everyone! i'm a really greedy reader (especially for bl, we are talking about those yeah? ) but i'm in a little slump right now and can't find out good book, so i would like some some suggestion from you other readers!

i'm searching for some books which have a true and good story behind it, and not only sex at every turn. i mean hot sex is a plus but i want a good story! i think those with slowly building romance is probably better but not necessarily.

 

some tip for suggestion(if you hopefully have it!):

 

-absolutely no male pregnancy

-no stormy glenn book

-preferibily in the adventure/action/fantasy genre, but it is optional.

um Sekai ichi hatsukoi..... thats a good story, thats why I like it, cuz the story IS good.

Its not a fantasy, Its the normal World and takes Place in a publishing house, two guys who used to know eachother meets again, + their is other small stories about the other people who works there.

I really like this manga and anime.

Sekaiichi Hatsukoi is also a novel but it's a different couple so the full name would be Sekaiichi Hatsukoi: Yokozawa Takafumi no Baai. That is a good story so is All you need is love.

Chance assassins trilogy by Nicole castle(Vincent's POV was an exceptional! Oh and he had a goldfish,her name was Gene Wilbur? Chrysanthemum lol)

Rock by anyta sunday--(My all time fav standalone book ever!! The hurt just feel so goooood,slow burn too)

Sparrow through the heart by Agatha bird.Bird shifters.little sparrow and hulking Griffin.giggle induced story.one the hotest sex scene ive EVER read so far.

Half bad trilogy by sally green(have yet read,but there'll be upcoming movie based on the book in the future so I'm curious if its THAT good)

As you can see I'm big on trilogies, I blamed my OCD for that.

Also,almost all of these books I've suggested are enemies-to-lover(I'm not fan of instalove cuz I like build ups)

Thanks for the ark trilogy!! Its look promising and most reviews are 5 stars rating,so im gonna go read it now!! Tata! Oh theres this Harry potter fanfics,I think its the best out there,I think even better than the original,plus its harry/draco slash so its a plus! There seven books like the original Book one is Saving Connor.

i should already have one or two of those but haven't had the chance to read them still (i have too many XP), i will check the other, something tell me i will like them, on the alone fact that you don't like insta-love XD

you know, since i like paranormal and supernatural i also like book about shifter and thing like that, i read a lot of those when i started to read bl, but after some it became so fucking terrible, there was always these thing about mate, insta-love, fucking throrugh the book(sometime only that), i seriously started to hate them. i still read one or two every now and then hoping to find that exception with a story or to have a light read, but fortunately now i read better thing. though i still need the suggestion because i'm no good at finding the right book XDXD

edit:and just saw the other post haha!ooops XP! you are right about the ark it is a really great trilogy, i can say when i read it was like a drug i couldn't put down the book until i finished all 3 of them! but i must advise you, you won't have hot sex scene, practically none since it is more shounen ai, still it takes nothing off the book

Oh then you should start with Captive Prince(DamenxLaurent) and All for the game(NeilxAndrew) trilogies.Trust me on this.Did you cry for HsinxBoyd?? If yes then you'll cry for for these couples too or at least love them so HARD.

Okay this one is not exactly MM but I thought its really good!!

The raven cycle series by Maggie stiefvater.There are two pairings.One of them is supposed to be MM.I shipped them so hard.Individually their characters are far more interesting than the MF pairing.Maybe im just biased XP .When I got to know one of the character was gay and the other was hinted as bi I squealed so loud my voice reached Mars.Its a mainstream so that's rare a thing.

-Cethe by becca abbot (it has a dark fantasy setting,but i advise you it is a little strong near the end)

-Hot Head by Damon Suede (despite the fact that there is a porn site involved it has a good story,and ok hot sex, but also lot of feeling)

-The dark earth by Raythe reign ( i so so liked this! the second is complete but can't find it, this site don't host raythe reign book...at least try to)

-the darkening by raythe reign ( ok let's say though i only read a handful i could probably like all her book, she write well and most the genre i like. if you want to try out i can pass you some of her book)

-I Was An Alien Cat Toy by Ann Somerville (i'm not generally a sci-fi/alien fan but this was a really interesting reading.here you won't have a human looking alien with just ears and tail and you must put a little effort in this book since you will practically learn a new language XP)

-Clamings Series by Lyn Gala (like above, you will be immersed in the alien culture. beside they are a little on the dom-sub side.there is not"actual" sex but a damnable tail is involved and is still hot as hell. they are so fucking lovable

-and manny makes three by trina solet

-art of death by ana bosch (somewhere between a mystery and a paranormal, still haven't read the sequel)

-zero at the bone by jane seville (still reading, but so far is good)

 

now then do you know the "black dagger brotherhood" series? i wouldn't normally suggest it, i mean not on this site, but since your previous comment... it is an mf series but i must say it is really good (and hot), every book is set on a different pairing, all connected, aaand in the 11th ( yeah i know it is a long way) there is this MM couple i'm dying to read about. i swear i started the series just for them. problem is the story advance with every book so i can't simply jump to that book T-T

i have a lot of book but also a lot of serie i still haven't finished or book with interesting plot i have yet to read, and i just noticed how many are book i wouldn't really suggest to other so i ended up a little unprepared ooops xp

well i did say how difficult it was for me finding good book. maybe i am just a little biased on the choice XP

There are only two bl novels I've read. I love the first one.

 

1. Art Criticism by Celeste Spettro (Originally a story on FictionPress then published)

Axels Pup - Kim Dare (very much BDSM, however IMO it's tastefully done)

Cold Light, Cold Sleep, and Cold Fever by Konohara Narise (the feels T-T)

Hako no Naka by Konohara Narise (It's a prison story, but it isn't insta-love. It's a much deeper story than I expected when I first read it. Obsessive love at its finest. I love that it doesn't try and make it seem like obsession is okay in the relationship, which is something that other stories fail at constantly. It made it feel more real to me that the main character wasn't completely okay with the level of closeness and possessive nature of the relationship immediately.)
