The genie reveals to his lover what he is after someone tries to kill them both. They both escape to the genie world and hide out with the genie's family while they figure out what to do. After that the genie leaves his lover with his brother to face off against their enemies. There's a HEA and the genie's brother ends up with a super powerful genie trapped in a cave or something.
