Goto was a little surprised by the man's words. He rose a brow as he looked over at Sato, just narrowly missing a branch to the face. "Wait.....so a funeral was given to a man you couldn't even presume dead?" Goto wasn't sure what to make of this information and somehow, he wasn't sure if he even wanted to know. But one things was for sure. He was starting to believe in the story of the guardian in the forest. As soon as they reached Kanase and heard the growl, he had visibly seen the other shiver. Even felt it when he held Kanase's wrist. He was glad the other didn't fight against him and take off into the cave. Instead he turned around and leaned against Goto. Goto wrapped his arms around Kanase, as if protecting him from what lay in the cave.

 

"If that's your father, then we will find a way. But if he....." Goto looked over at Sato. "We just have to be careful." He held the other close still, even if he knew Kanase did in fact want to see what was making that sound. However, when Sato spoke up, noticing something walking towards them, Goto took a step back, pulling Kanase with him. He only let his mouth hang open as Sato spoke and mentioned the elements. Okay, now he was completely lost. He knew he should have followed his cousin to that healers house one day. He would have known a little more bout what they were talking about. When Sato told Goto to move away, to let Kanase fight, Goto tightened his hold. "Whoah wait, we can't just engage in some battle. He might not even want to fight, maybe he's just testing us." Goto knew he sounded pathetic, but even if he had no idea what was happening, he wasn't going to just let his lover fight some monstrous beast.

 

He looked down at Kanase, as he felt the grip on his kimono tighten. He saw how frightened the others eyes were, but whether fro, the being in front of them or from something else, he was unsure. Goto shook his head. "There's got to be another way then just fighting him." Even as he spoke, the sky darkened around them more, and Goto was sure he heard the crack of lightening in the near distance. They had to think of something, he didn't think fighting was the only thing they could do.

He felt safe, for sure he felt safe between Goto's arms. One thing he knew for sure, if there was a way not to break this closeness with his lover, he wouldn't. Even if that was his father, it was still scary. Especially since he didn't even know what was going on for god's sake. Couldn't everything be just a little bit normal? Like, just one normal week? Just when Goto came back and everything seemed to be going well, this had to happen. He seriously started hating all this.

 

"If that's his father... I am afraid we don't have much time to think about." Sato spoke out again, yet just then Kanase threw a small glare at him. All the stories and everything were just starting to piss him off. He was sure that if it wasn't his lover, he'd be already out of control. "I agree with Goto. Come on Sato. You know him better then me. You should know that my father wouldn't just come kill us, right?" The younger looked at his uncle's face, seeing the slight flinch. The monk knew that he was right. No father would raise his hand at his son, especially if practically he was the one to call him here.

 

Kana nodded once again at his lover's words, for a moment wondering how much did he actually know about all this. He noted one thing to do for later: Explain him what the hell did Sato mean with all these elements and stuff. Even show him... if he didn't burn the forest. He was still kinda unable to control this power, one more bad thing. Just as the three of them were trying to come up with a plan, Kana heard someone speaking. Well... one couldn't call it exactly like that, because it was more like inside his head. Telepathy or whatever that thing was called. He heard from his uncle that it was possible, yet you had to train a lot to be able to do it right. 'Come in the cave, Kanase.' That was clearly what he heard, turning his head slightly at the cavern's entrance.

 

Slowly he pulled back from Goto, placing a quick kiss over the older male's cheek, a small smile popping over his face. "Wait for me hmm? I... can't explain it yet, but I can guarantee, he won't kill me. But I have to go alone inside." With these words, he patted Goto's shoulder, before to slowly step closer to the cave, letting himself get transformed. His hair, from black-blue, went to white, his eyes got their full purple color, his tails, one by one, showed behind him - pure white, like the snow. He growled once, as if announcing that he was entering, before to get inside the cavern, soon after his silhouette getting lost in the darkness of the place. He wasn't sure why, maybe his father would actually want to kill him, hearing all the threatening sounds, yet something, deep inside of him, was making him believe, that things would going to get better. That things would slowly take their right place and the pieces, one by one were going to make the full picture, with the future drawn there. The future of all of them.

Goto didn't believe what was to happen. If its his father? Then what? If its his father would the man just jump at his own son and attack him? Kill him in the forest he 'protected'? If that were to happen, that meant this thing in front of them was not Kanase's father and just a beast who knew nothing but the will to attack. As if Kanase knew exactly what Goto was thinking about he spoke his exact words. Goto continued to hold Kanase, even of they determined that this man was most likely his father. But clearly Sato had no reason to see him an other way. Did Sato know something that they didn't? thinking only fighting would unlock the door before them? But at the flinch of the other and his down cast eyes, he could see that wasn't the case. Goto let his muscles tense slightly at seeing the saddened expression of the monk. But he did nothing to release Kanase from his grasp.

 

Goto tried to think of a plan, some way to get around the half man, half beast before them. But something must have been happening with Kanase he didnt know, because suddenly he was stepping back from Goto's chest, not completely leaving the hug he was wrapped in. Goto looked down just as Kanase met him and kissed his cheek. "Kana...what..?" He was about to ask a question when Kanase spoke up first. What did he mean wait for him? Where was he going? But at the look on his lovers face told him that Kanase knew something he didn't. Goto nodded, reluctantly, but loosened his grip as Kanase backed away. Not first before clapping him on his shoulder and telling him he would be okay. "Just...be careful okay?" Goto watched as his lover walked away, shifting into a beautiful form. It was the first time Goto had seen the shift as so. He stayed behind, standing next to Sato as Kanase disappeared into the cave.

"I will be fine. After all I have a reason to be back - you." Kana whispered silently so that only Goto could hear him, giving him one last smile before the shift. Once he entered inside, it was so dark. One could get lost pretty easily. Even though the beautiful place around here, after all this cavern was just quite scary. There was no sound to be heard, so Kana kept walking further, yet for any case preparing his claws ready to attack if needed. After all, even though he has heard the voice of his biological father, he couldn't be fully sure yet that it was him. With a small sigh, the younger male finally reached a quite bigger and slightly lighter place, just on time to hear a quite loud growl coming from the dark corner of the place.

 

"Kanase?" He heard an unfamiliar voice, then steps. A tall creature, with glowing yellow eyes and nine pure white tails had appeared in front of him. "Have you heard? Wolves and foxes don't get along well. You know why? Because the wolves think of us as the weaker ones, but you know, we are the best cheaters. So, I think it's not quite true, that story." As he heard the other demon speaking, he saw one big black wolf standing beside him. "Let me test you first. If you pass, I will know that you are my son for real. If not, I won't acknowledge you." What the hell was this guy talking about? To acknowledge his own son? Really? He was going crazy with all this. Yet, before to have time to react at all, he heard another growl of the wolf, before to see it attacking him. This... freaking creature attacked him!

 

"I know that you probably think I am hiding something, but it's nothing like that. Just... Kanase is right. I know Kazanaru - his father, too well and I am sure... he is going to test him. He is always like that - he likes to test people... in every possible way. Even though Mayoko and me tried to change that... there was no use at all." With a small sigh Sato looked at Goto, shrugging. "I am sure he will pass, so we shouldn't worry. Just don't panic, you may hear some pretty scary sounds." As if reading what was going to happen, few growls from the wolf were to be heard even outside. Kana was trying to attack, scratching yet not even close to as deep as he wanted, in return receiving few scratches over his chest as well, as the wolf ripped off half of the kimono. One thing he was happy about - he was healing faster then before. What the hell should he do, to be able to win? 'Foxes are the best cheaters'? The younger remembered his father's words, taking a deep breath. He wasn't going to cheat, yet one thing passed through his head - His father managed to tame the beast, so Kana could as well. He closed his eyes, slightly leaning forward, as he calmed down fully, opening his eyes and growling out all loudly against the wolf, maybe the loudest he could, the echo of the growl getting to be heard all around the cave and outside it.

Goto knit his brows together at Kanase's whisper. Not because of what he said, he was more then happy to be the reason why Kanase would return. He just hated the fact of the other entering an area he couldn't see inside. However, for some reason.... he was able to just make out inside the cave. He shook his head as he let the other go, watching as he shifted just before entering the cave. Able to see him as far in as he could, much farther and he'd been able to do so before. Goto rubbed at his eyes as he turned away from the mouth of the cave and paced in circles. He rubbed at his temples as he tried to make out why he was able to see more into the darkened cave then he had been able to do the last time he went in a cave. He heard Sato's voice speak up from the side of him, surely wondering what he was doing. "No, no, I'm sorry. It's just... I've never heard of a father wanting to attack his own son." Goto stopped in place. "Not that it isn't rare these days."

 

It had been several minutes since Kanase had entered the cave, and Goto was sure he was able to make out the dripping of water from inside. He couldn't understand why though, and merely ignored it. But it was when he heard a loud beast like gowl from inside did he shoot his head up and stare inside. He couldn't see anything, even though he could see farther inside then most. He looked over at Sato, who he noticed hadn't heard the growl. He wanted to ask him if he had heard anything, but the faint sound of a voice that wasn't Kanase's was heard from inside the cave. Goto thought he was going crazy. He couldn't understand why he was seeing and hearing things he'd never done before. Goto crossed his arms over his chest in thought and it wasn't long after that did hear the sounds of a scuffle. Teeth clamping down as they bit out, nails scratching and tearing fabric, then a growl. Much louder then the last he heard, and this one Sato was clearly able to hear.

 

But the sound of the growl rumbled through Goto's body and he was sent into a small spasm. He doubled over and fell to his knees as he held his chest in pain. Why, why did the growl make his chest hurt? He groaned out, gaining the attention of the monk beside him. As one hand held onto the fabric of his kimono, the other had stretched out under him, holding his body up from falling to the ground. What Goto didn't notice was the slight change of his brown eyes into amber ones. But he did notice the pain of his mouth, and when his tongue traced over his teeth, he found that his canines had grown sharper. Goto was panting now as his eyes shifted back to brown, to amber again, to brown, before steadily staying where his right eye was an amber color, and his left eye was brown. He brought the hand at his chest up to his head and held on as pain shot through his brain. In the next moment he found himself retching up bile

"He has always been like that. He always tested me as well. Even Mayoko though, I remember how she scolded him so badly that he didn't dare to do it again. She just had a full control over him, which I was thankful about. Kazanaru was sometimes quite wild." Sato explained quickly, shrugging and taking a small sigh. He was sure that for Goto it was kinda difficult to understand but soon enough if Kana managed to win over his father, he would see what the monk meant.

 

Kana was unable to even understand what was going on, yet what he clearly saw in front of him, he smirked slightly. He heard the wolf yammer and step back, returning back to his father, yet not quick enough before Kana jumped over it and scratched the animal's back all deeply. "So.." The younger took his way to his father, once he reached it, seeing the surprised look over the other's face. He grabbed over his father's cloth, looking at him all angrily. "Are you content now? Maybe I should fight you now, to acknowledge me for sure!?" He was just too pissed off at the moment. He couldn't get what was wrong with his father, but actually, he didn't want to know either. He just let go of the other, before he could say anything, turning his back at him and taking his way back outside.

 

"Wait Kanase!" The younger stopped yet didn't even turn around to see what did the other want. He managed to return back to his human form though, taking a deep breath. "Don't you sense it? Whom did you come with?" Kana blinked and stared blankly at the older male, then stared at the exit of the cave, shrugging. "Goto and Sato?" He said all silently, yet before to be able to ask why, he saw his father heading quickly forward. "I sense another creature. Kanase, seriously... Can't you be more careful??" What? He was getting scolded now? The dark haired boy headed forward, passing through his father all furious. He wanted to punch the man, really. Father? He wouldn't acknowledge this guy as one if he kept being like that. Never.

 

What he saw outside though made him shiver on place. Sato was all shocked staring at Goto, few steps away from him, while his lover was seeming to be in pain, tilting his head aside, totally lost. "Goto?" He asked out for the other male, yet when he met his gaze, he almost fell on the ground, yet his father took a hold of him in the last second. "A werewolf." Was the only thing he said, before to step closer to Goto, yet Kana reached out his hand and grabbed on Kazanaru's shoulder. "What do you mean by that? He can't be! There must be something wrong... He... no..." That now was something he couldn't get at all. It must have been a mistake... How? You can't just turn into something like that, all of sudden. 'A wolf and a fox don't get along' - He remembered his father's words again, squeezing on his shoulder, almost sinking his claws into the older male's skin. Someone needed to explain his everything, before he could run away.

Goto looked forlornly at the older man. He had never met the Yokuzawa's he'd only heard very little stories. So he couldn't guide understand what Sato meant about Kanase's biological father. But somewhere inside he realized the man really wasn't trying to hide anything. That Kanase's father really did test others. Forcing them to experience things they didn't want to experience. He wondered if the man was messed up in the head. Testing his own wife? He'd wondered if the man was just an idiot, or he really had no idea how to react towards a woman. Goto smiled up at the man as he sighed. "Sorry, I didn't mean to grow angry at you." His soft spoken words were the last he spoke before he'd been sent into pain.

 

Goto had stopped reaching up bile as he heard footsteps, two sets, leaving the cave, walking towards him. He'd fallen back and was now sitting, his head resting on his arm as it rested against a knee. The shifting he hadn't realized was changing him, only in the slightest, had continued to send shocks of pain through his body. He looked up as the small voice of his lover was heard, nearly deafening him. Although the voice was guilt, his hearing was completely off. So much so he could here a spider spinning its web on a tree. "Kana, what...?" His voice was strangled against the pain he continued to suffer through. Nails sheathed and resheathed themselves, only to stay completely as that of normal human nails. He watched as the newest member stepped towards him, calling him a werewolf. Goto scrunched his face together. A werewolf? That was impossible.

 

Goto collapsed against the ground, holding his head as Kanase shouted out at the man. He had no idea what was happening to him. And now he was being called a werewolf? Like hell he was! He was just a normal man. His parents were both just normal humans. Even his grandparents. Where the hell would he come off as being a werewolf? He groaned as another wave of pain coarser through him. Clenching his teeth closed, a feat he actually found difficult with his sharpened teeth. He was gripping at his own hair, nearly ready to rip it out himself. His eyes were open, seeing. He could see everything around him,Melendez the look on his lovers face as he screamed at his father.

"I can't even understand how you couldn't sense that he is not a human?! Kanase, seriously? Use your powers at once for something important." Here we go again. His father kept scolding and throwing the fault at him. It was pissing him off. Even though he tried to press the anger deep inside, seeing Goto like that, in pain, confused, just as he, himself, was that night, when he found that he was not even a human, it was making him feel so much worse. "What are you going to do with him?" He asked, as he took a deep breath. Depending on his father's answer, he was going to take actions. "What am I supposed to do? This is our forest. He must have came from somewhere, you do realize that, right? I will-..." His father couldn't even finish his sentence, as Kana sank his claws into the other's shoulder, causing him to growl in pain. "What-.." As his father turned around, he saw Kanase's eyes shining in bright purple even though it was still a day, his fangs totally shown as he was hissing near his father's ear. "Think again. What are you going to do?" He could feel the twitch passing through the older male's body. Yeah, he was probably scared, if he could feel such thing of course.

 

"Kanase, stop it. You should help Goto. He needs someone, right now." Sato's voice broke the tense atmosphere around, the younger taking out his claws, yet leaning closer to his father's face. "If you touch him with one single finger, I don't care that you are my father, I will kill you with my own two hands. You weren't here all these years, so with or without you, there won't be any difference." Yeah, he was rude, he knew it. He could see the pain in father's eyes, yet the other male had to understand that Kanase wasn't some young kid, that could be controlled like that. He was a grown adult, he had his own opinion and his own way of living all these years, so if his father was planning on changing that, he was so wrong.

 

The dark haired boy ran to Goto, kneeling down and taking the other's hands, stopping him from gripping on his hair and hurting himself any more then that. "Shh, it's fine. I am here, hmm? I won't let anybody lay a finger on you. You are going to be fine, Goto. Trust me." For a first time in the past half hour, Kana used his most gentle voice, talking all softly and lovingly at his lover. It was painful to see him like that. And for sure it was difficult to accept the fact that he was not a human, though it was still odd. He couldn't understand how, but now was not the time to search for the truth. The younger pulled his lover slightly upwards, wrapping his arms around him, giving him the tightest hug he could. "It's your turn to scratch and bite if you need to." He said out a little jokingly, trying to break the pretty serious moment. Everything was going to be fine. He would make sure in that.

Goto fought back every urge he had in shifting. He could tell his body was changing, but he tried to pay no attention to it. His muscles hurt, his head hurt, his eyes and ears hurt. The high his hearing at just been sent through was dulling, although his hearing was much better then it were when he were normal, he could still hear as well as a wolf could. His teeth were still growing as he tried to fight them back. He had caught the smell of blood from somewhere, though he couldn't tell where exactly it was or what it was from. He heard muffled voices before a warmth came and enveloped him inside. Instantly his body spasms started to calm down and his breathing eased a bit. His muffled hearing was coming back to normal as he heard Kanase speaking beside him. His hands had been taken into the others and held.

 

Goto was panting, his breath coming out raspy. But as soon as the other had lifted him into a hug, Goto was wrapping himself around the others body. His nails stuck out once, but Goto managed to retract them before they had caught Kanase's skin. And as the other told him he could bite and scratch at him, like he himself had done to Goto, the older male growled. There was no way he was going to do that to his lover. He hid his face into the crook of Kanase's neck, mumbling out his name. "Kanase, Kanase, Kana..." He took in his scent, an even better smell then what he was able to smell before. Soon Goto's breathing slowed, and his arms dropped beside them. His body had fallen limp, his spasms done and over with. But what remained was a half human, half wolf form sitting almost lifelessly against his lover.

 

His human ears were more pointed at the top, his nails, slightly longer but not as long as they tried to grow out. His brown eyes were different, one now ember gold while the other remained brown with particles of gold in them. His teeth were sharper, and his hair was a little softer, as if it were fur. His senses were stronger now then ever before. In all, Goto had not taken on a full wolf form, but merely took on some aspects that effected his senses. When he found strength in his body once more to sit on his own, he managed to push away from Kanase just a little bit. He kept his gaze down before looking up at his lover. His eyes, though different, held every ounce of love for the other has they held before. They even held every ounce of sorrow in them as well. He heard what the male was talking about, he was afraid he'd lose everything, being killed on the spot for something he never knew was possible. A sad smile formed on his lips. "That was painful, now I know how you felt." He didn't laugh at the joke he tried to make, his smile only dropped into a frown after.

Kana could hear the mumbles behind himself, the two older males were talking about something, yet he didn't care. He would kill whoever tried to take Goto from him, no matter whom and why. He could see every small change his lover went through. His scent was different as well, maybe because of the shifting, he smelled even better now. Yet, maybe he'd choose his old human Goto, not because he minded having a werewolf for his lover, but because of what he was going through. Knowing how difficult it was for him to get used to this, how difficult it was in general to control it, he so didn't like it. Kana was going to help his lover. They'd pass through this together.

 

The younger put on a small smile, gently caressing Goto's back while giving him time to calm down. Even though he saw him fighting against hurting him somehow, he really didn't mind it, as long as that could calm the other down. Also, he could push him away if he felt the need to. Kana squished between his arms his lover's body, hearing his own name being said by him. "I am here. Your Kanase is here." He whispered all silently, even after the other calmed down, keeping the hold over his body.

 

He had to admit, what he saw in front of himself was actually quite beautiful. Goto's eyes were like small diamonds, his hair so nice to be touched. His teeth, even though it could seem kinky for one, pretty much wanting to feel them sinking against his skin. He was sure that the other was worried because of the conversation from before and how no, his father almost threatened to kill him. Kana threw a quick look backwards at the older males behind himself, yet one way different one from the gaze he gave his lover. This one was cold, full with hatred and pain. One that nobody would want to receive. "Leave us alone." That was the only thing he said. He didn't wait to even hear anything more especially from his father. The younger just turned around again, as he hugged his lover once again. "Shh. I promise you that you won't feel such pain again, hmm? Because I will teach you everything I know." Kana pecked slightly his lover's head, the smile remaining still over his face.

 

"Kanase..." He heard his father speaking, yet what came from his mouth was an all threatening hiss. "I said, leave us alone." With these words he could hear both his father and Sato slowly leaving the place. He didn't care how he looked like in his father's eyes right now. He did mistakes, big mistakes, from their first meeting, so that was what he deserved. First, he didn't know him. Second, he didn't know Goto. With a small sigh, Kana squished once again Goto's body, clenching his teeth. At this one moment, maybe due to the adrenaline, he somehow wanted to cry... once again, to cry. Yet he wouldn't. It was nor the time nor the place at the moment, to do such a weak thing. Or maybe he was also afraid, to let his lover see that he actually could be such a broken child.

Before Goto found himself relaxing into his own calm, he felt Kanase rubbing his back. This feleing helped him calm down even more. Though he hated to think of himself of a overreacting child who needed his mother to calm him down. But either way it helped, and Goto wasnt going to say anything against it. When he pulled away, he was worried about what the other would see in him. His father had just told him that they couldnt get along. But prior to this he'd never thought he was a different being. So why change the way they felt for each other now after so long.

 

Goto followed the defiant look of the other as he stared at the older men. Had Goto been a normal man in their eyes , they would have just pictured him being a broken man. A man who witnessed the worst of pains and was now suffering through it all. But now he was no normal man, and he wondered if Sato would even see him that way again. The words Kanase spoke to them made Goto flinch. Something that he would never normally do. For Goto was a strong man, a strong willed man, the words of another didnt so easily scare him. But now, just like a child, he felt frightened of the new world around him. Of how others viewed him. Then Kanase turned back to him and held him close once more. He kissed his head, and Goto could feel his body relaxing again.

 

Goto tried to ignore the painful hiss that came from his lover and the hurt on the mens faces before they turned and left. But at such a time he was unable to do so. Kanase crashed against Goto's body then, crumbling up his kimono in his fist. Goto held the other this time, his turn to show Kanase that he was still the same Goto as before. Goto rested his chin on the others head and held him close to his chest. He could feel the slight shaking of the other as if he wanted to cry. And if he did, then Goto would block out the world around him. "Kanase...it will be okay. Im still here. Im still the same Goto." He wasnt sure if he was trying to assure Kansse of his change, or if he was trying to assure himself.

He would never leave Goto even if the whole world was against them, that was for sure. He just couldn't imagine himself, with Goto nowhere around him. Even if he was different now, though in his eyes, he was the same male, he fall in love with, nothing would be able to separate them. The footsteps echoed for quite few seconds, before both men left the place. Kana was sure that Sato wouldn't even say anything about everything that happened but help them, yet what he wasn't sure about, was his father. He could sense the all day fights, unless the other has accepted his choice. He though felt the flinch of his lover's body, for a moment rethinking his own words. Maybe he was indeed too cold, yet once again, he needed time and something to show him that he could actually act just like before, something to show him that he could trust his father. He needed a proof that his father would change.

 

A silent sniffle came out from the younger's mouth, yet no more sound was to be heard. No tear was to be seen over his face, nothing. He took the control over himself, yet not fully because of himself. His lover's hug, the words, they couldn't be replaced with million pills and touches of whoever it was, because Goto was the one, he loved with all his heart. "In my eyes, you'd never be any different one, but the male I saw you as all these years. Even if you turn green, with four more arms to appear and all." Kana let out a small chuckle, actually imagining his lover like that. It was good though, he found the strength to laugh, something, for a second, he thought he'd never be able to do again.

 

"You know, this is actually what I wanted to show you. This place. I made it mine as soon as I found it. But no, don't imagine it like I "marked" it, okay? I am a fox, not a dog." The younger chuckled silently against his lover's chest, feeling as if the time stopped for them. It was nice. To be in his lover's arms. He slightly pulled himself back, just to be able to face Goto, leaning forward and placing over his lover's lips a small and all sweet kiss. "Remember that whatever happens from now on, we are together in this. Nobody is gonna separate us, alright?" He whispered silently, smiling warmly at the older male.

Goto heard the silent sniffle that escaped from his lover and held him closer. He wasn't sure if the other was actually crying or not, but with his new profound senses, he couldn't smell the scent of salty tears on the others face. So he figured the other wasn't crying at all. Goto placed a kiss on Kanase's head as soon as the sniffle sounded in his ears. Sure he wasn't crying, but that didn't mean he had to stop giving him his affection. Then Kanase spoke out, quietly, where only Goto could hear. His smile grew on his face before it turned into an out right laugh at Kanase's words. "I doubt I'll be turning green any time soon. Or growing four more arms." He kissed his lovers head once more. "But thank you, those words mean a lot to me." Then Kanase spoke up again, after their laughter had died down into quiet snickers. Mentioning that this cave, was the place Kanase had wanted to show him yesterday.

 

Goto looked back at the mouth of the cave, being able to see inside just a little further now then before. But before he could say anything Goto was brought into another fit of laughter at his next comment. He admitted that a picture of Kanase marking the cave like a dog did cross his mind, which was why Goto was laughing so much about it now. When his lover snuggled into his chest more, Goto held him close. His chest still rumbling from little laughing spurts that wouldn't die down. Kanase pulled back, and Goto looked at him with slight worry that he had done something. But soon he was leaning forward and placing a kiss on Goto's lips. The kiss broke to let Kanase whisper to him. Goto looked at him with so much love that there was no way he would disagree with the other. He leaned forward and captured Kanase in another sensual kiss.

 

When they broke, it was from Goto. He had looked back in the direction the two men walked off into. "I know I have to face them when we get back, but...Kanase, I have no idea why now of all times I shifted.i didn't even know I could!" Goto had lived his life like any other. His father never told him of their family history and neither did his grandfather when he was alive. He wondered where in the family one would have even been a werewolf. His mothers family surely didn't seem like they were hiding anything. So he doubted it came from her side. He sighed before looking back at his lover. "Why is your father so against foxes and wolves getting along? I mean, it's not like I know anything about this stuff right now. But....he was pretty set on keeping you away from me just before." Goto tried to look for answers on his own. But he'd never be able to figure it out until he spoke to the other men.

Kana felt like melting against his lover's arms. They were finally laughing and everything from moments ago stayed now as just a bad memory. "Shh, don't thank me. That's the least I can do for you." It was the truth. Goto deserved everything the best, especially now, when he, just like Kana, was alone in this. He needed all the support he could get, and Kanase was going to give him that. The younger could see that small worried look his lover carried when he pulled slightly back, yet as soon as he returned the kiss, there was nothing more he could ask for. These were his most favorite moments, in between his lover's embrace, kissing him once again.

 

When the other broke the kiss this time to speak, Kana listened all carefully to everything Goto was saying, from time to time nodding slowly. Everybody could feel fear, so it was just natural for Goto to feel it as well. Even though he had this strong image, they were all humans, if not physically, then at least by soul. "Wait.. how do you know about the thing my father told me about the foxes and wolves?" The younger was caught quite surprised. So everything started when he was still in the cave? ... The growl! Could it be possible that, his growl was the reason for Goto's shifting? He hasn't heard of such thing happening though, yet... once again, he managed to scare that big wolf there with just that. "To be honest. What my father told me inside, was that wolves think of us lowly because we are not as strong as they are. But also, they forget that we are best liars, so that's our plus. If you are worried about my father... don't be. He has no right to actually butt in my life. Not now, after his whole absence." Even though it was kind of painful to say that, Kana actually thought these words and meant them. Of course, once again, unless this was to be spoken out, nothing could be figured out. Nor the answers, no anything. Yet right now, for Kanase, the least thing he wanted to do was to go back in the house.

 

"Hey, want to just spend some time here... before we go back?" He peeked at his lover, hoping that he would be thinking the same. Even though the need to know, he was sure that both would be on the same opinion about returning. Also here they were safe. Goto had to calm down fully as well, so they had plenty of time in front of them.

Goto saw the surprise in the others expression about how worried he was. But when Kanase did nothing more but accept him and fall contently into his embrace, Goto knew he had no reason to be worried. Now he knew how Kanase must have felt when he first shifted. Thinking the world was against him, that no one, even Goto, would want him anymore. When they sunk back into a kiss Goto realized then, that they would fight through that pain together. They were both shifters, despite the fact that Goto took on more of a human form then a wolf. But they were still shifters. Which meant they understood each other more now.

 

When Goto broke the kiss to talk he was glad that Kanase listened to him so didn't try to run off at his words, or wave them off as something unworthy to be asked. However, when he mentioned what his father had said in the cave, the other grew surprised. At the others question, Goto answered slowly, as if he wasn't sure how the other would react. "I...I heard the both of you...in the cave." Goto didn't think it was all that surprising, the conversation that had nearly sounded like they were yelling at each other. But at the look on Kanase's face, perhaps they weren't and his hearing really was exceptional now. He fell quiet until Kanase answered his last question. And he only grew slightly angry at the man. To separate beings just because one thought of the other so lowly. Was it so hard to just show them their strength? Or come to an understanding of their differences? Foxes and wolves were always going to be different. Foxes were more cunning, but wolves were faster. Wolves were stronger, but foxes were more flexible. Each held their own strengths and weaknesses. Goto wanted to settle that now. He was a wolf, right? And Kanase was a fox. They were lovers. That meant things could change.

 

But as soon as the other spoke up, asking to stay here longer, Goto stayed where he sat. Goto smiled at his lover when he peeked up at him, hoping he agreed to stay. Then Goto leaned down and place a kiss on his lips once more. Quick and gentle. "Yeah, we can stay a little longer." He kissed him again, but this time he didn't move away so quickly. It was a longer kiss, much like the passionate one they shared before. Goto held Kanase against him as they shared a kiss together before going back to the house.

He, heard them? So it was really true? His growl awakened Goto's shifting. Ah, he should be careful... if he could do such things, then god knows what else could he call with his voice. Anyways, he could see the anger growing into his lover's eyes as he told about his father's words. Kana could understand him. It was just meaningless, yet he had to admit that it was kind of true. But once again, not true about him and Goto. "Let's not mind his words for now, hmm?" He gave the other another smile, trying his best to make his lover forget about what he just said. On the first place, non of them were thinking of themselves as anything more then mere humans, which was the most important rule now.

 

Kana moved his arms and wrapped them around Goto's neck, letting out a small all innocent squeal, before to return the kiss. They had to use the whole time they had for themselves, because as it could be seen, it would be getting more and more impossible for them to be alone. The next kiss though, almost melt him against his lover's body. He took the chance set himself more comfortable over his lover's lap as he was still sitting down, closing his eyes and giving himself into the kiss. The younger tilted his head slightly aside, just to deepen the kiss a little, feeling himself fully calming down and for a moment, forgetting everything else, but his lover.

 

This was how he wanted to feel all the time. Safe, loved and in Goto's arms. To be honest, nothing else mattered at this one moment. This place was indeed magical, meeting all kinds of mythical creatures in between its trees. After like few seconds, Kana pulled back from the kiss, yet not before he bit slightly the tip of his lover's upper lip, a small chuckle running out. "Your lips are always so yummy." He whispered silently, all playfully winking at the older male. One thing he liked in himself - he could easily get back to his good mood, with the right company around him.

Goto was confused, how could his father feel such hatred towards wolves? He wouldn't try to separate them would he? Hell, Goto had no idea he was a were until moments ago. Why now of all times did this state decided to waken? He would never know. Then Kanase snapped him out of his own thoughts, pulling him back to the present. Goto nodded, "Your right. It does nothing to dwell on the matter. The answers I seek will come to me soon enough." When they kissed he felt better instantly. He loved being in the presence of his lover. His lover, who until a day ago was merely just his best friend, the one he harbored feelings for that he never even realized until a month ago.

 

Kanase moved in their kiss, climbing on top of Goto. Their heads tilted, deepening their kiss. A passionate kiss, full of meaning. Nothing like the erotic kisses they shared. This one was better, it told them things that they couldn't say in person. Goto would never stop these kisses. He held onto Kanase's hips as he climbed on and sat on his lap. He chuckled in the kiss as he did so. But seconds later they broke, lips parting for a moment before Kanase nipped at Goto's upper lip. Goto's newly changed eyes, shined over with lust for an instant, his eyes narrowing with a grin on his lips. Kanase's every word and actions woke something inside Goto now that he could do something to engage his feelings.

 

Goto pulled Kanase closer to his lap, practically pressing him onto his groin. He chuckled again. "You have no idea, Kana. You have no idea just how 'yummy' you are entirely." His voice lowered and he stared up at the other with such lust he was sure he'd start another round just by looking at the other. He didn't mind however if they did. He wouldn't outright admit, but he figured he was in fact a perverted beast. The beast part having been proven just moments ago. Goto brought his right hand down Kanase's body. From his hip, down his outer thigh, back down his butt. Goto stretched his neck a bit to reach Kanase's chest, a slight exposure shown through his kimono.

Kana shooed all the other thoughts of his head, leaving only the ones involving his lover right now. It was still quite new, he had to admit. The thought of having Goto as his lover and all, yet he almost got used to all that. Just the fact that it was all true now, was making his heart skip a beat after beat, making him smile like a little kid. He had to admit as well, he somehow got it enjoying to be sitting on the other's lap. Just to be snuggling, so closely to his lover's body, it was making him feel safe, no drop of fear passing through him at all.

 

The younger though felt himself flinching, spotting his lover's eyes. Darn, he did it again right? A small groan came out, before to look down at Goto's nibbling on the inside part of his lower lip. The other's words seriously sent him deep inside the ground, not literally, but really made him embarrassed, for what time by now? He forgot already. "Shh, Goto.." He mumbled silently, licking his lips, just to keep them wet, feeling them drying suddenly by the heat hitting his body, shaking head as if telling the older male not to do anything, yet was too late.

 

Kana hugged Goto's head slightly tighter, a small sound running out again, darn. He shouldn't be losing control. No. Control it. He had to stop him lover. Well, if he was even able to. While thinking of a plan how to though, he flinched and let few more, yet like whispered moans, slightly moving over the other's crotch, once able to take a full control over himself though, setting one palm over Goto's head, clearing his throat. "Dearest, shh. No more touches. L-let's try to control it. Well, unless I went too far..." He mumbled the last words rather to himself. while ruffling slightly the other's hair, leaning down and pecking his head.

Goto chuckled when the other groaned because of the look in his eyes. This was what he was capable of. However, was it Goto himself? Or was the beast inside him connecting to the beast inside Kanase? Were they just merely attracting each other. He had hoped not. If anything Goto wanted and hoped that what he did to the other, how he made the other feel, all came from his own doings. Goto could see the other nibble on his own lip, despite the fact that he did it on the inside this time. He kissed the other's chest again, inciting another sound from him. And a raspy whisper of trying to get him to stop."

 

Goto felt Kanase flinch against his touch and grinned up at the other. The sounds that escaped his lover's lips made him excited. But before he could take it further, his head was being pushed against. An action which made him laugh whole-heartedly. Even despite the twitching of the other on top of him and his raspy hopes in trying to get him to stop, Goto continued to touch him. But he controlled his lust now. The good hard laugh making him calm down. The lust in his eyes was gone, but his love for the other still remained. Through the outstretched hand and fingers on his head, Goto peeked through an opening and looked up at his lover. Goto ran his hand back up Kanase's body, all the way to the back of his neck and pulled the other to him.

 

They kissed in another passionate kiss before seconds after Goto pulled away with another laugh. "Sorry, I'm calm now. Should we go back before I start up again?" He rose a brow at the other before he instantly rose on his feet. With much more ease then he had ever had lifting the other before, Goto was suddenly holding his lover in his hands as the other was still pressed against him. Goto held Kanase by his under legs and started walking towards the house. He'd have to get back soon before he decided to change his mind and pin the other against a tree and take him. But he would fight back the beast inside him, if it was the beast that made him so horny.

Kana could hear the chuckles, seeing how much Goto was actually enjoying his reactions, for a second puffing his cheeks. The other was just mean, yet he somehow got to fall in love with this mean, craving for him side, that he knew he was the only reason for bringing it out. He was also sure, that this was just Goto himself, not the beast. He knew it since he, himself, was more or less a monster, a demon. Yet everything that happened last night and even now, was because of his love towards the other. Like, he just loved Goto, that was for sure.

 

He was happy that the other has calmed down. Even if slower, he was calmed down, which was great. Not that he minded being taken here again, yet his body did. Just now, after all the adrenaline was gone, he started feeling the back pain and all. Though he was instantly pulled away by these thoughts, as he kissed back his lover, all passionately, yet full with love. "Mm, it's fine. Yeah, let's go back... before we indeed end up for few more rounds from last night." Kana let out a small chuckle himself, shaking head, just before to get up though, feeling himself being lifted like that again, turning the chuckle into an all amused laugh.

 

"Goto, you are already training for our wedding?" He said it all jokingly, yet for a moment, just a mere simple moment, he imagined what could it be if Goto and him could get married. That'd be weird... impossible, well unless he - as a daimyo would't change the rules here, at least. Yet once again, did he even have the power anymore? He, himself, was not even sure at all. It didn't take long and the house could be seen already. Kana closed his eyes and for a moment let his nature to take the control over him. He wanted to hear what was going inside first.

 

"You can't just take him like that! Do you realize that he is one of the most searched killers right now, because of the minister? The one you hate that much?" That was Sato... but what did he mean by take him? "Do you think that I'd leave the things like that? I will be back after I am sure that he is safe somewhere!" His father shouted out. So they were fighting? "And you think that he will come like that? Kazanaru, we are talking about Mayoko and your son. He is just as stubborn as you both were. Don't try to change or take him, let him help you. He is a strong kid. Also he has Goto by his side." He didn't even want to listen more. These two were seriously getting on his nerves. He was not going to go anywhere. With a small, both sad and angry gaze, Kana looked at his lover sighing silently. "I wish I could turn back time to last night..." With these words, the younger snuggled against Goto, barely holding his tears, yet not tears because he was sad, but because he was furious.

Goto smiled in the kiss, glad that the other was so agreeing to each one they shared. He made sure that Kanase could feel his love in each kiss he gave, and perhaps that was the reason why he agreed to kissing him so much. Whatever the reason, Goto was happy about it. When they broke apart, Goto chuckled again when Kanase spoke out quietly. He was also glad that Kanase was forgiving. He had been a normal person, with little knowledge of his feelings towards Kanase only a few months ago. But as soon as he returned to his friends side, he'd been a completely different person. Beast like, ravenous almost, most definitely perverted. But Kanase was completely understanding of it all, and accepted him completely. That's what Goto loved about him. He understood people, completely caring towards others. But this was also what made Goto want to protect him, too. "Alright, lets go then!"

 

When he had stood up, Kanase in his arms, he received a laugh form the other as he threw his arms around his neck. Goto laughed out as well. "It doesn't hurt to start now does?" Goto's words could have easily been taken as a joke, but they could have easily been serious as well. Goto couldn't help but think about a marriage with Kanase. It would be hard to publicly announce their marriage, the day and age unaccepting towards such things. But he was sure he could find someone who was willing to marry them in secret. However, that only meant on paper they were lovers, that was all. Goto wanted more then that, and just sharing his love with the other who shared his as well was all Goto needed. Soon enough, when this was done and over with, they'd live together. Goto would make sure of that. If they stayed in their home town, then they could live in Goto's families home. His mother most likely staying in Kyoto. So it would just be the two of them. Goto smiled at the thought. He liked the idea, but he would follow Kanase and if the other didn't want to stay, then he wouldn't force him to do so.

 

Before they reached the house Goto came to a stop. In the house he could make out muffled voices, but when he actually concentrated he could make out the words they were saying. Sato and the other man were engaged in an argument, most likely about Kanase. His brow raised when his name was mentioned. He looked down at his lover when he felt the other stir and look up at him. His expression said everything, and Goto looked back with a knowing expression himself. He felt the other tense against him and then smelled and felt hot wet tears hitting his slightly exposed chest under his kimono. "We don't need to turn back time. I'm here now, whatever you have to go through from here on, I will go through it with you." The two months they had been separated had certainly determined their differences in issues. But now Goto was here and he was certainly going to go through everything Kanase was going through with him. "Come on, lets go." Goto held Kanase close to him before they reached the door of the house. Once he did, then he let Kanase stand on his own two feet an walk in first. The voices inside stopped instantly upon their arrival.

The younger let out a small chuckle at his lover's words. Did he really want to marry him? Well, it wasn't like he'd actually mind marrying Goto, but he knew it'd be too hard knowing the times they were living in. Also, there were far more important things to think about instead of that now. Talking about that, for a moment Kana thought that he clearly heard sounds coming from some feet away from them, yet since he wasn't even sure at all if that wasn't any animal, he decided to just ignore it.

 

Once he felt his lover though trying to calm him down, he wiped the few tears that rolled down his cheeks, nodding slowly and smiling. "You are right, I have you now. So we will both face it all, right?" The younger snuggled himself against Goto's body, until he was let down, stepping on his feet and looking at the two older males. "You heard us." His father said, Sato doesn't even being able to express how proud he was, chuckling. Maybe he even did on purpose, bringing this topic just now, knowing that they'd come any soon. "He did. And you can see how angry he is right?" Kana sighed and stepped forward, crackling his neck, before to let his eyes change their color. He also let his claws out, looking at his father with the most serious gaze he could put. "You know, what I hate the most? When people lie." He started speaking all slowly, as he made his way to his father. "First, I passed the age where anybody could tell me something a long time ago." He said, a small rather all bitter smile appearing over his face. "Second, I make my choices alone, for myself. The best ones, that don't include leaving these whom I love." He almost reached his father, even being able to hear the older male's pulse getting faster. "Third, you lost the right to be my father in the moment I found who you are." With these words, he hissed all close to his father's face, grabbing him by the shoulder once again. "Oh and..." Kana let out a small laugh, squeezing the other's shoulder once again, until he made it bleed. "Go tell the principal that, if he is going to send mages after me, he should find someone who'd play a better role. You suck." With these words, Kanase stepped back, as he saw the guy in front of him slowly changing his looks until he turned back into a completely different person. It was odd, because until he has come in the house, he didn't realize that the male in front of him wasn't his father at all. Yet, the closer he was coming now, the more he could smell it. The magic that he used to do that.

 

What he heard in the forest, he was right. There were few other mages who were waiting for the barrier to be taken away, so they could find Sato's house through that guy. He couldn't be his father no matter what, he was sure. He saw the fear in this guy's eyes, turning around slightly, as if to calm both Sato and Goto, before to turn back his whole attention to the other guy again, taking a deep breath and growling almost as loud as when he was in the cave. "Get away! If any of you come back, you are all dead! You think that you can pass the barrier since you are already inside, just try again once you walk away and next time I see you, you are going to be dead." He hissed all threatening, seeing the other guy instantly running to the door. "H-He is going to win though! The minister. He will know your weakness now!" Kana took a deep breath, hearing the threatening coming from the other's mouth, as he looked at Goto. "Oh no, you are wrong. He is my biggest strength." With these words, the younger literally grabbed the mage by the hand and pushed him out of the house.

Goto held Kanase close to him until he felt the other was comfortable enough being put down. He kissed the other's forehead when he looked up. "We'll work through everything together from now on. There's no way in hell im leaving you again." When he set the other down he was glad to see he was pulling himself together and wiping away the tears. Goto rose a hand and wiped away a tear he missed before kissing him gently and quickly before they stepped forward towards the house. Upon reaching it, Kanase immediately began lashing out at the man that was his father.

 

Goto stayed by the door of the house as Kanase walked inside. However, his threats for his father soon became threats to a while other man. At the thought of a mage breaking through the barrier he was now able to sense, his muscles tensed and he began to growl. Kanase however turned to look at both he and Sato, trying to calm them down. Although Goto stayed at the door, he didnt calm down. As he was standing there a whizzing sound was heard from behind him and he turned just in time to watch an arrow embed itself into the frame of the door where he stood. He stared at the arrow before looking out over the forest. He was able to make out shadows in the distance, but they probably couldnt see him so well, being on the outside of the barrier.

 

Goto turned back when he heard Kanase shouting to get out at the man. He turned back as the man stumbled towards the door, trying his hardest to threaten Kanase. Which clearly wasnt working. He stepped out of the way just in time for Kanase to push the man out of the house. Goto smiled at his lover's strength, glad to see he was able to hold his own very well. When the man stood up and started to run off, Goto reached for the arrow in the frame and removed it with ease. He looked it over once before throwing it with all his might and letting it fly. The arrow impaled straight through the running man's shoulder and Goto heard him scream. "I doubt he'll be coming back anytime soon." He turned to look at his lover beside him.

Even though he found the other wasn't even his father, Kana was not afraid. He couldn't tell why at all. Was it dye to everything he passed these past months, or just the thought that right now he was not alone, but he was clearly not afraid. Yet, he had to admit: He was worried. If the minister could send mages after him, that meant he had any idea where did the younger hide. Which from the other side was quite scary. They had to do anything sooner, else, they would die.

 

As he heard the arrow, the dark haired boy widened his eyes, instantly taking a look a Goto all worried, yet sighing in relief as he saw the other was alright. He surely shouldn't forget one thing and that was that right now he wasn't the only one who was a mythical creature. Even though once again, he had to ask Sato later on about the werewolves and why weren't they getting along with foxes. Maybe he could know anything about Goto himself as well.

 

As soon as the mage left and Goto threw the arrow, Kana grinned widely. How could he not love the other? He was not only caring and lovely, but strong and knew how to fight the right way with such guys like these mages. The younger walked to Goto and snuggled against his body, yet almost instantly hearing Sato clearing his throat behind them, peeking at him. "You have no idea how thankful I am to you, Kanase. I couldn't even sense that mage when I myself am one." He could see the disappointment in his uncle's eyes. "It's fine. He was quite strong after all and managed to lie to us all. If it wasn't the scent I got from him once I came here, since the magic was slowly fading away, he would still be lying to us now and know what could've happened." It was true. They should be careful right now, especially after what happened now.

 

"Hey, Sato... Do you know anything about um... Goto though? Like... you see, nobody expected him to be a werewolf and stuff..." Kana peeked at his lover, slightly caressing his back. "I think that we all should just sit and talk about this hmm?" He peeked at both the older males, as if waiting for an answer.

Goto watched as the arrow flew before catching the enemy dead on. Of course he wasn't aiming to kill the man, so the arrow hit him in such a spot where he wouldn't die. But as he watched the man run off, staggering from the sudden pain, he felt warmth at his side, clinging to him. He smiled down at who he knew was in fact his lover and pulled Kanase close to him. He was just about to kiss the other's head when Sato cleared his throat gaining the attention of the younger. When Kanase mentioned the fading magic Goto too took notice of a different smell from the man. "There was....an awkward rotting smell when he ran past..." Goto looked down at the other in hopes of being told what exactly he had just smelt from the mage. Goto still however hadn't let go of Kanase and only had his arm wrapped around his shoulders.

 

Goto was about to step further inside the house when Kanase spoke up again. This time asking the older man about Goto's own condition. Goto looked back from the two and watched in silence. He felt Kanase rubbing his back, which by god, felt good, despite his recent injuries. "I think he's right. Sato...what's going on around here? Why am I a werewolf? And why the hell did that mage mention the two of us not getting along?" Goto pointed between himself and Kanase. But when the other spoke up he began to step into the house pulling Kanase along with him. Goto wasn't ready to let his lover go just yet. And even when the three entered the sitting area and Goto sat down, he pulled Kanase into his lap.
