Saga
That moment when someone talks to you in Russian and you keep replying in German, having unconscious dialogue with the person - bilingually. Then he asks you, "...Excuse me, but..you..understand me? Are you Russian?" Me: -stare blankly wondering why on earth I even replied to the person although I usually hide that I speak a lot of languages- ...Oh. -switches to Russian- "Yeah, I understand you and no, I am not Russian." He: -somewhat smiling brightly to the coincidence and keeps talking in Russian- -facepalms- The downside of speaking ten languages, you unconsciously give away that you understand the language. And 7 if I count German (but I'm still having a hard time pronouncing the words) *sigh* Gave my instructor a headache tho since I'm still stuck on Band 4 Well yeah, ten they are..I think. I stopped counting them after the fifth XD. And most of the people in real life 'find out' in some kind of coincidence..or a situation where I use one of them. Thus I get the stares as if, no idea, I've slapped them. As for the languages, let's see.. - English; - French; - Spanish; - Russian; - Japanese; - Bulgarian; - Macedonian; - Croatian; - Chinese; - Serbian; - German; Oh..they became eleven. I learned German two years ago and I still forget to count with one above. XD... These I colored in yellow are languages I seldom use so sometimes I get stuck or I forget some words; although I plan to take refreshing classes in 2017 for them since I started claiming the languages. What I mean by claiming, I am taking international exams since 2015 to 'certificate' my knowledge. And once I get them all certificated...I don't know what really am going to do with the proof statements XD... Probably just stock them on some shelf XD. So far I claimed, German and French (but French was like 5 years ago so I need to redo it). I am preparing for English, Japanese and Russian. In 2017 I will try to get them up to 70% certificated. Wish me luck, man.

Idk how you survived learning all those languages but still, it's amazing XD I'll probably starts learning Russian after this because... well, because. Heh. So far mine are: - Malays (I'm not sure if that's what it calls) - Indonesia - Chinese - Thailand - Tagalog (Philippines) - Japanese - German That's it I guess. If you count Engliah then its about 8 languages. Except for German, all are claimed.

Rebel Heart
You don't understand kosoado principle or you just misread them? I do understand them as I keep memorizing them, it's just that in my mind I keep switching them around, Kore is for here with me but then I ascendantly make it dore or sore, its just swimming in my head. I will get it at some point where I actually get to use them more in full sentences. Now it's more learning words and the basics of Hiragana and a little katakane. Some times people ask why I'm doing this to myself, a person who has dyslexia learning languages, well mostly because I want to read the mangas I buy and I want to support the authors, but most stuff won't ever get translated, and since Tokyopop stopped translation aka Junjo romantica ever since then I wanted to learn the language so I'm not depending on organisations for the stuff I want to read, it will take some years but I do hope with this effort that i can read the language in a couple of years. Well, I hope you just explained it in a rush because that's totally wrong (the way you explained 'kore', I mean). As long as it is accidental, all is cool. Though, you might want to forget, for now, about 'dore' and 'are'. They are rather unusual, 'strict down to point' and even abstract. Though, no idea how they teach you in the class you are attending.
Rebel Heart
I think I typed it wrong, but that is mostly the case when it comes to these kind of things. stuff I learn is: ku-ji ni okimashita, ima nan-ji desu ka?, yo-ji desu it's like very basic. He also tells us that most stuff is irrelevant but he is the kind of guy who keeps talking once he starts. Which is funny because you actually learn allot, problem for me is though because I have not only Dyslexia but Autism ass wel I cannot keep up as easily as I would like too, my brain works in a way which requires allot of repeat, I always get insecure and I need someone to proper explain me things a bit slower. the amount of information given in a hour and a half is sometimes just to much for me. I'm getting there slowly, but sometimes I'm just about bang my head against the wall with frustration when I don't get the things done I want to get done. Saga
I see. Well, everyone's got different capacities and you shouldn't try to be at pace with someone else. Some people, as I am also a private Japanese language tutor, memorize fast but also forget as fast. The process to something really learned goes through 'recalling' and 'redoing'. I exclude people with photographic memory though.

It is what you say, everyone needs to do it at it's own pace, which I do, but sometimes It gets really awkward when you have to keep asking for stuff, I know most people understand but still I hate to stand out and I don't like my disability to be shown but in the current school system people like me cannot keep up with all the haste. I trying my best, after this I'm going to focus on writing and writing the same characters over and over again in order to memorize them properly, something i can do in my own pace.
