I loved the part where he free-fell from the cliff and then saw the raven birds. I always wondered why he loved to use the birds as his "spell" symbol. My guess would be that birds are symbol of freedom, and the one thing he wanted the most was Sasuke to be freed from the chains of hatred after he died, although it failed thanks to stupid tobi. When he stayed behind to wait for Sasuke with not even the idea to hide he was the murderer. At first I thought it was odd to just wait there as if to show him some horror before that, or something? I mean, that would mean he hated Sasuke. But once he let him live and told him to hate him, grow strong and only then find him if he wants revenge - I just knew it xD. He wasn't the bad dude. Although I agree..Some of his beatings were too harsh for his brother's age XD.... But it's anime so.. Oh, man. You just got me started on Itachi XD.
