But he is the type of guy that wants to touch me whenever he sees me >. I feel for my bf, but well sometimes, I sneak up his back and cuddle him. Then it feels totally ok, and it makes him really happy. If he is still with you, it means he alreasy accepted that part of you. The fact, that you, come to cuddle him sometimes proves how much you love him and are willing to do for him. It strange how the brain works, I always get really soft when I see people cuddle, it is super sweet and I really melt. And now that you've mentioned it, I remeber she said something about how people with autism feel the touch differently than the rest of the people. They are apparently hyper sensitive to it, making them nervous and not knowing what to do. I'm hypersensitive too, I can feel negative emotions, My parents always fight, and as a kid I Lashed out because of that. For me it is really difficult to read emotions, I really can't estimate people's meaning behind what they say or write, and on the internet it is even harder from me. People need to say clearly what they want for me, or else I will interpenetrate it differently, which results in me sayings things what doesn't fit the context. The longer phrases people use, the more difficult it will be for me to to find out what you really mean, I simply get lost. You can see that here on the board from time to times, I'm struggling to find the right words and people get offended or hurt instead, I can't expect everyone to know about my default and I don't expect people to change their way just for me. So yeah it's a daily to daily fight, the internet is a blessing because of the way you don't need to interact with people physical, but can also be curse because without seeing the people, it will be even harder to read the emotions or intentions, as you can't see the person smiling or being sad or being angry etc I have allot of friends with autism, since I got personal coach to help me out from time to time, as I get stuck real fast in all the paperwork from the government, which can be a real pain from time to time. Some are really introvert, they hardly come out of there house, some are like me and can live a pretty normal life. The biggest problem for me is that you can't see that I got a handicap, I'm pretty normal and I act normal too and can hide my defaults pretty good. But this is also my problem, because people treat me the same way and will get mad or angry pretty fast if I don't get it or do something wrong, they aren't lenient because they can't see that I'm handicapped. I had many jobs, but I always quitted them before it went wrong, I'm afraid that people will look down on me and that I can't be a part of society any more, feeling left out. Like I said before my dream was to do something with biologies, or animals, like being a vet. My grades where always outstanding, but the way they teach and the way the universities work, I just can't keep up. Even if your smart, if you can't bring it into the field the way they want to, your pretty much done for. That's why, I pretend like everyone is ALWAYS happy and take things the positive way (even if the guy is super pissed at me one the other side x)) As for what you said about education and how society wants us to be, I can't agree more... Having good grades is not what people want after a certain age.
