To get robots work our jobs 'coz "humans can do way more interesting things than working". Like what? Travel the world? Surely, that seems tempting; the self-development. I am just curious where will this money come from, for us to continue living as we want? Or they plan to give us freebies? On the marketing's side, I just wonder how much taxes I have to pay so a robot wipe my ass? Yes, I am being sarcastic. Do people and sci-fi fans realize that to fix re-install your computer at a service shop [for noobs] that costs average between 30 to 50 dollars [cheap shops]. If there is a hardware error, say the motherboard died, it costs nearly half the price of your PC. My question is now, do they realize how much would it cost to pay taxes for ROBOT-staff repair annually? I rather bid my chips on the nano technology than on the AI projects. ...Idiots. Yeah i have also been thinking the same, In a perfect world it would probably work but we aint there yet , if ever it sounds really stupied to me that , of what i Heard the other day, that in 15-ish years 20% of the jobs will be gone and done by robots.... so basicly people will loose their jobs and they will probably get ...0 back so yeah. Im so gonna start working as "repairing" those robots... .. now where did i put that screw. hmm looks like i lost it. I guess i wount be able to repair this robot then '__' ... neeeexxxttt. Moahaha My evil masterplan . No but seriusly, i Think i like my plan.

Moahaha My evil masterplan . No but seriusly, i Think i like my plan. Actually sounds like a good plan, to be honest. Even today IT workers can make a fortune. One problem is that not all people find passion in coding or hardware repairing. I am wondering though which 'type' of jobs will be robot-done? The way it is going around the world, the tendency is to suffocate small business, small companies or family farms. If the cooperation is not big enough, there is 70% chance of being suffocated by today's system. If we take that as a hint, ...I believe 'not-so-important' jobs will be ruled out. Such as - shop clerks, veggie-fruit sellers, cleaning personal, factory staff and such. That though in my humble notes make more than 20% of the population's jobs. Or they want to tell me, robots will be doctors, dentists, teachers and such? '_' No comment.

Maybe when technology has advanced in a hundred years or so, but I don't see any advancements right now that have changed my perspective. like people in the 70s + 80s thought we'd have hover cars by now. Mate, we barely have functioning hoverboards, lol.

Mate, we barely have functioning hoverboards, lol. Actually, it is not a question whether it will happen soon or not. It is a question of whether they have benefits from it, to be released. The very first robot made was actually around 450-500 BC, a mechanical bird. Or Tesla found a way how cars can run only by pure energy waves, similar to what you are using today at home - the remote control which is also a creation of Tesla's. But then comes the question, why are we not using these awesome cars which won't pollute the air and will be cheap as heck to manage? Simple - they don't have benefits. If they are released, the fuel business will die. The percentage of unemployment is also controlled, there has to be unemployed people in this world - meaning, there must be poor people, according to he who runs the world. So if it has to do with strengthening the control of money and the percentage of unemployment - yes, they might actually release advanced intelligence to the public. The correct question is not to ask 'when' but 'why'.
fan_yaoi
Yeah i know, well there was this guy on the radio the other day, they used a "robot" that calculated stuff for them that Before 5-7 other people had as a job. thing like that could be less people jobs too Like in food stores these Days. To push it further, really depends on our social climate, whether we accept these changes to integrate with the way with live. Technological advancements not only interrupt business flow, but the way humanity works together, especially now that the world seems closer precisely due to technology. '_' Oh, if you haven't seen it, I'd recommend looking up the alternative ending for the I Am Legend movie. Should be on YouTube, I think. It's closer to the book, and has a very good twist in it that gives the plot a deeper meaning. Honestly, one of the biggest missed opportunities in movie history. - - - Updated - - - Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. ... i have never understood that film i Always get lost.
