Library Of Vampires (Seeking Seme)

Plot:

 

There exist a library in a certain land. (I don't know. Some random land we could come up with perhaps) A library which is like any other during the day. But as you can guess from the title, the library isn't entirely ordinary if vampires roam its interiors. These vampires are the librarians, protecting, or rather guarding certain books in the library. They are vampires who uphold the vampire law, arresting those who break the rules at night.

 

But of course, the rules are rather simple really, they're what we see everyday. No drinking human blood. That is the first rule. Though exceptions could be made. Vampires are only allowed to drink human blood when they are discovered. Drinking the blood of a human could remove memories of the vampire themselves. Second rule is to keep their species a secret. As you can tell from the first rule, it's pretty obvious that they aren't allowed to reveal their existence. The third and last rule states that vampires cannot harm humans. If any of these rules are broken, the offending vampire would be caught and brought to the head librarian in which they would be officially arrested. The prison though, is a little special. It's not a cage nor an underground dungeon, it is a book. Books imprisoning vampires would be locked inside a special room guarded by the librarians.

 

MC is a human, born with unusual looks, different from ordinary humans. Unaware of the library's secrets, he seeks a job as a librarian and was hired, also because the librarians thought he was one of them. Reason being that he looked like a vampire. And also because their passive powers don't work on him. Vampires possess combative powers and passive abilities which only work on humans. MC dismisses the vampire conversations as an everyday weirdness of his fellow librarians.

 

YC is the head librarian of the library. He is most probably the most powerful of his kind and could be easily categorized as the ruler. But in this case, he is the head librarian. Nobody addresses him as king since there technically isn't a ruler in this AU, they just obey him. I'll leave it to you to decide what else you want to add.

 

I would like this roleplay to be historical, preferably in a Victorian era. Feel free to ask questions if you're not sure of anything or want to add something. I appreciate any additional ideas. What I am looking for is a seme with a strong character. Who teases and angers MC occasionally, and protective only to a certain extent. Another thing is that I do not want this roleplay to revolve solely around sex, I do not do roleplays like that. I mean, sex is great and all but I want our characters to get to know each other, interact and quarrel before moving on to something deeper.

 

Lastly, I have a few ground rules set which I hope that my partner would be able to fulfil.

 

-A good command of English. I don't mind a few grammatical errors here and there but I should be able to understand what you are writing. I wouldn't say that my language and vocabulary is perfect either, so I understand how it is like especially for some of us who don't have English as our native languages.

 

-Another thing about English is that some of us don't use apostrophes correctly. (E.g. They're become their. You're becomes your) I don't mean to seem stringent, but language like this peeves me a little, please understand.

 

-Do not be a passive roleplayer. I do not want to be the one leading the roleplay especially since it belongs to the both of us. Let your character have some initiative in his actions so that my character can respond and in return do a little something that your character can respond to as well.

 

-This roleplay requires you to play multiple characters, also because the world can't revolve around only our characters. NPCs like other librarians or vampires cannot be avoided. So if you are unable to play multiple characters at once, perhaps this isn't the roleplay for you.(Not to sound rude or anything. I apologise if I am.)

 

-Keep me updated if you aren't going to be on the forum for a while. I am a very patient person, willing to wait for a week or two, at most three for your post. But it would be much appreciated if you could inform me when going on hiatus so that I won't always be looking out for a reply. Reason being that I get insecure sometimes when my partners stop updating. I would probably think that the roleplay is boring to you. I will do the same during busy times or when I don't feel very creative. If you don't feel creative at times, I would understand too and give you some space, since I want you to be at your best when roleplaying with me.

 

-If you do get bored of the roleplay, do not be afraid to shoot me a PM. We could rediscuss another plot at anytime if you want. Or if you prefer, though hopefully not, just give up the roleplay.

 

-I only do third person paragraph roleplaying. So yes, I am looking for someone who does the same. Though everyone on this forum seems to be doing the same thing. But.....just in case xD
