I think I read a few times that the full episodes for this show was 12 episodes! I've alrdy read the novel and there's definitely more to tell! But the ending was damn touching for episode 10. 😭😭😭😭😭😭 hang hang 😭😭😭😭

 

Yeah, it's definitely sad when Hang Hang said they can't even be friends anymore. They can't just end like this. I need to see glasses guy and Meng Nan more. To be honest I'm a bit disappointed because they're not in the last two episodes even for a minute or two.

The novel ending was good! glasses guy will appear with hang hang in the next episode if they follow the novel storyline. But I really dk. There's confirmation that episode 10 really is the last episode?

It's confirmed by the original author, there are two more special episodes! (or they will combined it as one)

And they are organizing a special episode premiere event next week in Beijing! (their first ever event and it's free TwT)

If it's an only 20 mins episode, I don't think they will do this! It must be a long episode, and it's only left 7 more chapters to adapt in the novel, so I think it's still possible. cheetah7

During June 28, 2016, a rainy night, after struggling for more than half year, YanDai XieJie No.10 web series season 1 has finished airing under too much pressure. During that moment, I can't hold my tears anymore. My mind is keep on flashing back a lot of things, indescribable, therefore, I've found a quiet place to drink and smoke, and let the tears flow. This also means that my plan to quit smoking has failed.

 

We won't know how difficult it is if we didn't try it (film production). In the beginning, I'm having confidence to it, but now I've to becareful on many things.

 

The film production is started from last year's (2015) October. During that time, I'm having another project in a TV station. Everyday, I'm busy in selecting a suitable novel and having meetings. Every week, I'm meeting with a lot of people from different fields in this industry, and also trying to build up a good relationship with the media.

 

Then, we started to prepare the script and selecting actors. We have sacrificed a lot of things in terms of energy and financial resources. We even went to Korea to look for suitable actors. At the end, we have picked them, who you all have seen now.

 

I treat them as kids, this is based on my experience in this industry. Every year, I have met with over hundred of artists. But to be honest, most of them are not prepared to be an artist or actor. This is my point of view, it's also the the point of view of others who are in this industry. The way we look at them is more like examining them, it's different with the way of how is the audience look at them.

 

Every industry is having their own rules, it's cruel somehow. When I noticed that they are getting well known, I'm not happy at all, but worrying. Nowadays, good looking and a little of popularity are nothing. The market is very competitive and full of challenges, the competitors will look down and put down on them. This is because I'm that kind of person as well last time, I had looked down on many of them, they are nothing.

 

And now, they are from ordinary people and turning into web celebrities, this is the idea from my trusted investor, director and manager, which means this is just a beginning for them.

 

They are simple and nothing special, they are just one of the ordinary ones in the crowd. All of them are not living in Beijing, YiHang and Kang Kang (Kang Rong) are not even came to Beijing before, I brought Yang Xi from Shanghai, while for Zheng Zheng (Gong Zheng), I can't see his future in the first audition, but only Xiao Xiao (Fu Xiao), he is a dancer, atleast he has some talents.

 

It's horrible, all of my friends told me that I'm crazy.

 

They are lacking of characteristics and inexperienced, but we are responsible for their future, therefore, we have given them a lot of training, the staffs are guiding them always, I even asked the director to rehearse with them, if they are not performing well, we keep on shooting, though it will cost a lot.

 

A lot of memorable moments in between, once you have chosen the path, no matter how difficult it is, you have to continue your journey,

 

What happened next? I'm sure all of you know it.

 

This is our fate, we have to face it, we can't runaway from it.

 

All of the plans before this, including marketing strategies, broadcasting channels and promotional events are screwed up because of something. It's not only affecting me, but also many people as well.

 

I'm having experience in making TV shows and award ceremonies, but this project is the biggest obstacle in my career. I'm feeling helpless and demotivated.

 

What's the result? You all have seen it, it's meaningless to talk about it anymore.

 

What's on my mind now is about Zheng Zheng, Yi Hang, Yang Xi, Kang Kang and Xiao Xiao. I just hope that everyone have seen their efforts. They are young and fresh but hardworking. They are keep improving themselve in many aspects.

 

All of you have witnessed and being a part of their journey, every step is not that easy.

 

They need to improve themselve, but they also need supports from everyone. Maybe they will be success in the coming years and becoming a professional Chinese actor.

From what I understand through the Chinese version is that it's not that it was being interrupted, they hit a lot of bumps yes but it was still the promised 12 episodes. 10 of those we already seen, 2 will be shown today in an exclusive viewing party in Beijing (a.k.a not uploaded). As of whether it will be the last 2 episodes or some BTS stuff we'll only know after tonight.

 

There are speculations (and I really mean speculations NOT fact) that the last two episodes will be released with the DVD or through a method of buying them.

 

Ep 10 is such an awkward way to finish the series since they're so close to the end of the novel, 2 more episodes will be perfect to wrap it up.

 

 

I really wanna see how they will show Liangzhe's journey to get Hanghang back.

So from there, the information I got is the number of episodes is 10+2. Those 2 special episodes are all of the LZ and HH's daily life in the novel which have been omitted from the series. It might included some scenes for Hu Wei and Qi Ji as well.

 

They will upload the episodes for sure after the event, so don't worry.
