"Oh…" Masaki nodded. The concept was easy enough to understand, though it was a little strange. It almost seemed like an insignia of sorts, though he didn't have a very close look. "18 of my planets cycles..It is around this time you become of age" Kronos clarified, his mark coming not too long before he had his little chase back on that planet.

His eyes widened, and nodded. He wasn't sure what the number actually meant, considering he knew nothing of Kronos' planet.

 

"Okay," that was eerily similar, too. "So does it show up at different times for your people?" He wondered how that worked, if they just matured at varying rates and they were considered adults only when the mark showed up, or if they all got the mark at about the same ages.

"Medical problem...?" Kronos tilted his head slightly in confusion. So markings would be a bad sign to the species..something that seemed to require medical attention rather than a mark of being an adult.

 

"Markings tend to show up around the same time, but some late and some early.." Kronos tried to explain. "It is around this age..I suppose if heights and if your humans growth patterns are similar to my own, I would take a guess I am around this age in your planets cycles" he stated with a nod, knowing he would need to research this later to blend in as well. "Does your species have appendages other than your limbs?" Kronos pointed out his arms and legs. "I have one of my own but I do not know if your kind has the same anatomy as my own..I suppose not" Kronos mused on this topic since it was brought up earlier.

Masaki nodded, confirming. The only thing he could think of that was comparable were signs of disease, illness, or viruses. Or rashes. There were tattoos, but those didn't arise naturally.

 

"Ah…" He wondered why they had markings to begin with, and why they used that as a mark of maturity into adulthood. "Does everyone get them in the same place? Are they all green?"
