Izuki was close to shaking, Inmai could tell. Was he already about to lose it? He really didn't think he had pushed him so far. But he did have to remember that not an hour ago, he was in the human world, a free man, with a life, all he was entirely separated from now. But that didn't excuse the attitude. He ran his hand through his hair. He was about to give up on it, thinking he was still too stubborn, but he did raise his head.

He really looked so defeated just now, Inmai got the sense that he had done enough to prove his point to him. Hopefully he wouldn't need to do this kind of thing too frequently, it was a bit frustrating for him as well to have a snarky guy as a familiar.

That's all he needed to hear. He was about to dissipate the cuffs, when Izuki still found a line for the moment. Inmai smirked, and poked his forehead back a tad. Seems he didn't traumatize the kid. And the demon released the cuffs, and his wrists were free. He was planning on having him earn release from the leash as well, but when he asked to be freed, he couldn't help but oblige. He felt he had done enough at this point.

"Alright, but I'm going to leave the collar. As a reminder," Inmai told him. He wouldn't make him wear it for too long, but he wanted to make sure this lesson lingered on him, and this was a good way to leave a mark. And the leash's chain faded into nothing, and the human had his mobility back.

Izuki stayed under the bed silently listening to his music for a couple hours. He wanted the collar off because of how terrible a reminder it was but after the first hour, he'd basically forgotten it was there. The human finally crawled out with his back hurting from laying on the ground on his stomach for too long. He had to stretch himself out and bent over, his back cracking naturally.

"Where am I going to sleep tonight?" His voice was considerably softer as Izuki lowered his headphones glancing around the room. The last thing he wanted was to be put in a pet bed because Inmai expected to get a dog or something. When he pulled out the mat he wanted to show the human earlier, Izuki stared at it in disbelief. There was no way he was going to be able to sleep on some door mat/ rug thing.

The human clenched his fists and looked down. "Do I at least get a pillow or a blanket or something?" This was almost too much humiliation. Izuki wanted to throw himself off a bridge and be done with it. This world was tearing into every fiber of his being and it was unbearable but he kept his snark and sass to himself as he focused more on just being able to survive the night.

Inmai saw him crawl under the bed, and thought it was equal parts cute and sad. Well, ideally he'd be here for only a couple of days, so no matter how much he hated the demon, it was fine since he wouldn't be with him for too long. Or maybe it was common for humans to just chill out under beds. Either way, he figured he might have to be nicer to make him more comfortable later. He might get him more the the fruits he liked, he really liked the one he thought looked like a dragon fruit.

He started reading a bit, trying to avoid creating too much of a mess again. He should be working on an assignment due in a few days, but he was pretty warn out now. Soon enough though, the human crawled out from under there.

"Oh, right, your mat!" Inmai got up and went to the closet and pulled out the mat. It was a thick, soft mat that, while not a mattress, was still pretty comfortable. But it was something for general familiars, that were more animal like and could be housed in an apartment like this. But Izuki was a human. He rolled it out for Izuki to inspect, thinking he'd be happy with it. But he certainly didn't look it.

"Ah… you can have a pillow from my bed, but I don't have any blankets." He told him, shrugging. "I wasn't expecting anything like you. If you really want a blanket, you could sleep with me,"

It was mostly a joke, but Inmai wouldn't really mind it. He was hoping for a familiar that was cute and soft, that might sleep in his bed with him. But Izuki wasn't that small, or soft and furry. He was a human who probably hated him a lot.

"You don't have to continue to mock me..." Izuki knew Inmai was joking when he talked about them sleeping together on the bed. He wasn't a kitten so he couldn't just cutely curl up by his master's side and sleep the night away. Izuki was already done for the day and couldn't take any more. He walked to the bed and took a small throw pillow he knew Inmai didn't sleep on and brought it over to the mat. It wasn't terrible to lay on but it wasn't the most comfortable either. Still, it was something. It was a bit thinner then the average Japanese futon but he'd have to deal with it.

The human took off his jacket and headphones and placed his iPod with his headphones half and arms length away from his bed and pulled out his phone and placed that with it as well. He laid down and draped his jacket over him. It wasn't much but it wasn't that cold here. He'd already taken off his shoes and placed them neatly at the end of the 'bed'. Izuki curled up into a little ball taking up a little less then half the mat where he was most comfortable and closed his eyes.

Izuki knew he wasn't that sleepy and in this new of a place, he probably wouldn't even be able to sleep but at the same time, he didn't want to be disturbed so pretending to sleep was the best thing. Still, the human was almost scared to just be laying there in the open with his eyes closed. He didn't know what demons were capable of completely and only that the one he was summoned by was some kind of restraining expert. It's hard to sleep when something might actually be able to kill you.

The whole night, Izuki was awake restless but he didn't move a lot. He was actually very quiet even if he did move which was only to lay the exact same way but on his right side instead of his left. When the next morning rolled around, the human tried to hide his face under his make shift blanket as the sun just barely peaked in.

Inmai shrugged.

"I'm not trying to mock you," He said, though it was a half truth. "I know you wouldn't want to, but the option's available." He explained. He didn't intend for it to be cruel, but he doubted the human really would believe it, after chaining him to the wall. But Inmai didn't really regret it, it was Izuki who was so rude, so he could go ahead and despise him. He picked a pillow for himself and threw it to the ground with the mat. Seems Izuki made his choice.

It should be comfortable enough, so Inmai didn't sweat it, though he would have to buy him a blanket at some point. Even after he left, it'd be good to have an extra around, he was sure.

Izuki got ready for bed. Usually Inmai would go and wash up, but here the wash-up was communal, and he didn't want to leave Izuki here, even if he hated him, he figured being alone might be worse for him now. So he took off his shirt, and changed into looser pajama pants he usually wore. The dresser was next to his bed, and he wasn't particularly worried about the human seeing.

He also usually didn't go to sleep this early, but he didn't want to disturb the kid. Maybe his bad attitude was due to lack of sleep. Unlikely, but a good night's rest wouldn't hurt.

Inmai fell asleep rather soundly. He woke up a good hour after the sun rose. He looked to the side, wondering if his familiar was still asleep. It looked like he was asleep hiding his face from the light. That was pretty cute, the first time he seemed cute without being beaten down and humiliated.

He realized he never removed the collar, like he meant to before going to sleep. Inmai removed it now, it'd be a wake-up present. He got up as quietly as he could, and went to make some breakfast.

Izuki couldn't care less about Inmai changing or anything like that. He simply kept his eyes shut. This demon's body was a lot like a human's anyway except for some slight differences so what was the point in looking at another man's body? The human just laid there until morning.

When morning finally did come around and the collar suddenly vanished, Izuki jumped, sitting up and placed a hand to his neck where he noticed he wasn't being bound again but set free. The human looked horrible. His eyes were a bit red with dark circles around them and despite not moving around a lot in his sleep, Izuki had some of the worst bed hair. His hair stuck up mostly on one side and he was feeling as bad as he looked.

The human looked about the room frowning as he knew exactly where he was and everything that happened the day before. He shifted and looked over at the demon that summoned him and stayed put almost as if he was waiting to be told what to do. It was unusual but when he was this exhausted, Izuki didn't like arguing and just left things as they were, sort of going with the flow.

Inmai's eyes widened when the human practically leaped into a sitting position, as it was not his intention to wake him up. He must be a very light sleeper if just that startled him so much. But Inmai could tell that he didn't get a good night's sleep. Was it because of not having a blanket? Or was he not tired and forced himself to sleep? Or was he just scared and nervous about, well, everything. Any of those could be a reason. Inmai cut up more fruit, since he had plenty of the dragon-fruit look alike, the yango, so he made sure to give the human extra slices. He also quickly scrambled some eggs in a pan that he heated himself, splitting it to equal portions. Was that too much? How much did humans need to eat?

Trial and error would tell. He brought the plates over to where the human sat, a complete mess. He did have a low sitting table for eating at, but it was currently covered in papers and boxes and books, a variety of strange objects, and he didn't feel like clearing it. He usually just ate from the plate. He handed the plate and an unusual but recognizable-as-a-fork utensil, and sat next to him.

"After this, we'll wash up. Here, the baths are communal, but there won't be a lot of people at this time of day, alright?"

Izuki watched as Inmai cooked up the eggs and cut up some more fruit. He kept quiet for a while as the demon fixed each of them a plate and handed him one. He inspected the eating utensil for a moment before getting some of the egg onto the fork and eating it.. The eggs here tasted so much like the eggs back home but these ones tasted richer and were clearly better then the ones back home. Typically, Izuki ate scrambled eggs with syrup but these eggs didn't need that.

Since he'd stayed up all night afraid, he was starving and managed to eat all the fruit. Of course, that wasn't hard considering he had such a weakness to sweet things that he would have eatn the entire thing of fruit even if he was full. "Thanks for the meal," Izuki stated as he got up to do his dishes. It was an instinctive move that was useless here since everythin seemed to run on magic.

Realizing he hadn't responded to Inmai's question, the human walked over and sat down again. "I don't mind.... I could go for a bath." It took him so long to reply and hopefully this demon wasn't too angry about it but Izuki had to focus on eating while he could. "I don't sleep well in new places...." he mumbled for some reason.

Izuki then got up and left all of his things where they were just wanting to go take a bath. Of course he waited for Inmai because he had no idea where he was going.

Inmai watched as the human ate the fruit and eggs with considerable vigor. He must have liked it, which was good. It seemed he wouldn't have to supplement a strange diet or even enchant him. He was eating faster than Inmai, which was unusual. Inmai was known for being a pretty fast easter. The human remained very quiet as he ate, and Inmai didn't distract him, aside from the announcement about bathing. He didn't want to spring it up on him just before they left. He seemed very sensitive.

Inmai was trying to be more aware of how he was feeling, so that he could avoid another conflict like the night before.

"Hey, no problem," Inmai replied on auto pilot when the human thanked him, but he was actually quite surprised that Izuki had thanked him so readily. He saw that he had gotten up with his plate to take it to the kitchen, and Inmai thought it was sort of cute, since he couldn't use magic and had no means to clean it himself.

"I've got that," He assured him, getting up and taking the plate from him. Using an enchanted indicator on a bizarre-looking faucet, water rushed down over them, and Inmai hurriedly washed the clean, then set them on a rack to dry. The rack was small and could probably only hold two plates and a bowl at any given time.

Izuki had him a little worried when he hadn't replied about going to the bath, and wondered if he would have to either force him or live with a stinky human, but as he washed the dishes, the human replied. So this wouldn't be a problem, good. A problem, though, was that he wasn't getting good sleep, and probably wouldn't for a while. Would a blanket even help that? He was about to take Izuki to the bath, but he turned around and saw Izuki already by the door, and Inmai chuckled a little.

"It's on the main floor, not too far," The demon assured him, taking a small pouch that was sitting by the door with him, removing the lock, the door automatically replacing it when it closed behind him.

"Would a blanket help you sleep?" Inmai asked him as they walked. "It might be better to sleep in a real bed, you know,"

"I just have to get use to being in a new place. That's all...." sleeping in a proper bed and a normal blanket might actually help but Izuki wasn't about to sleep in the bed with Inmai that easily. Plus there wasn't even a ton of room to fit another bed. The human just wanted to feel safer and as soon as he did, he'd sleep plenty well.

Izuki followed the demon down to the baths and this time he wasn't looking around and just focused on walking forward. When they made it to the baths he looked around to see how it worked. Honestly, the human hoped not everything worked on magic here. He stayed fairly close before taking off his clothes when he needed to to get changed. His pale skin was almost flawless except for a thin almost unnoticeable scar scar on his right side. It was professionally done so it was clearly a surgery.

"You're sure no one will come in?" The last thing he needed were more demons seeing him exposed like this. Izuki was too much of a private person. That's part of the reasons he didn't have any friends.

"Alright," Inmai said skeptically. He wasn't going to make him sleep in his bed or anything, but he really thought a real bed would help him get better sleep while he adjusted to life here. And it wasn't like he would be staying forever, so how long would he have to adjust? His whole time here would just be miserable because he couldn't sleep?

He led him into a room that was open, and didn't look too different from a communal shower on Earth, side from their being no way to turn the shower heads on. There were walls separating each stall, and a basket to keep clothes dry, and a shelf next to it. Inmai found one that wouldn't be too visible for anyone just walking in. He was planning on having Izuki shower in it himself why he uses one next to it, turning the water 'on' and 'off' for him, but then Izuki expressed a fear of someone seeing him.

"I didn't say that, I just said it's unlikely there will be a lot of people. At most maybe one or two other people might come in," He told him honestly. He didn't peg him as the modest type, since he didn't seem to react at all to his undressing last night. And he was getting undressed in front of him now. Maybe he saw no need to feel shy in front of Inmai in terms of nudity, since he had already seen him pretty damn vulnerable.

"I could use my body to shield yours," The demon offered as he stripped himself of his pants. "So if someone does come in and walk over here they won't see you," His eyes fell to the scar, it looked so precise and clean, and it was barely noticeable, for the most part. Inmai had a good eye, though.

"I just want to shower quickly and get dressed again." He only had one outfit so he'd have to think about how to get it washed since he couldn't just wear the same thing every day until he went home. Who knew how long that would be. Izuki glanced around. No one was here yet but still maybe he should take this demon up on his offer. No, that would make the human look even weaker and more pathetic.

"Can you please just turn on the water? I really want to shower quickly." Izuki waited patiently for Inmai to turn on the water and then he got in even if it hadn't warmed up yet and got himself soaked. It made his crazy bed hair finally lay flat and the teen washed everything before getting out of the shower 5 minutes later. The human always was good at getting to the point and just getting clean. He started to dry himself off and wrapped the towel around his waist before moving close to listen in case anyone had come in within the few minutes he was showering.

When it sounded pretty clear, Izuki slipped out and went for his clothes to try and get dressed. He had waited around long enough for Inmai to even finish his shower before moving so it wasn't like he was able to run away. The demon had to turn off the water anyway. "Can't demons rely on anything besides magic?" This world was incredibly unfair. What about other familiars? Did they also have magic and have the ability to do things on their own?

Izuki had stopped going for his clothes and was just standing in the open so of course, two demons ended up walking in. As soon as the door started opening, the human moved to try and get behind Inmai as fast as possible but slipped on some water on the floor and fell flat on his ass.

"Okay," Inmai shrugged, and realized the human had only that one outfit. His clothes were a little big, but they'd have to do. A blanket was one thing, but buying a whole wardrobe for someone who'd be leaving before too long seemed ridiculous. And he could wear that one when it was clean. Ah, that made him feel guilty, though. He had so little now, he felt bad not getting him things that were actually his, even if his stay was short. Though he didn't want to crowd up his apartment… He could at least buy him books that would be his. He'd need to get them anyway, children's books to teach him to read and write. He seemed incredibly interested in reading, after all, and he had just the one book as far as Inmai could tell.

Inmai reached for the shower head, his magic signature caused water to start pouring out. Like the faucet from the apartment, it worked by two means. The most common was an enchantment that reacted to magic signatures, and the other was Water Talents could operate it themselves. The benefit to that was control of the temperature, everyone else had the default luke-warm. Inmai was not a Water Talent, meaning his use of magic didn't facilitate a lot of water manipulation. He got out of the human's way, and took the stall next to his, closer to the entrance, in case someone did come in while they were showering, he could stop them.

Inmai liked to be pretty thorough when he washed, or else he felt dirty all day, so he had a process which was a little longer than most people's, so it was no surprise that Izuki had beat him.

"Well… yeah, the same way humans can get by without technology," He explained, then shrugged. He would have thought it was a dig at demons in general, but there was a tone in his voice that made him question his first assumption. Inmai was just about done rinsing off when Izuki stepped out of the shower. He finished rinsing off before turning off his water, and was about to walk to Izuki's to turn off his, when the familiar made a move to try to get behind him, and ended up falling to the ground.

"Ah, shit, man!" He couldn't help but smile, then he stepped forward and saw two demons coming in, and realized that Izuki was just trying to hide from them. They didn't seem to notice the commotion, so Inmai quickly scooped the human back on his feet, and placed him against the wall of his own stall, and put his body between him and the demons, just in case they came this way.

"You didn't get hurt, did you?" He asked in one of the most gentle tones he'd used since their meeting.

"I'm alright my ass just hurts a bit. Though, you should know I don't break that easily.... I'm not an iPhone." Ok, so Izuki knew Inmai wouldn't get the reference but he still put it out there. "Thanks." It was all he could say after the demon scooped him up and protected him. When there was an opening, the human quietly went with his summoner to where the clothes were and Izuki got dressed. He stayed very close to the demon.

"Do you have class soon? Mind if I stay in your room? I wanted to go to see what you learn in class but I'd rather just try and rest...." Izuki was very close behind Inmai as they walked he still wasn't looking around. The shower helped wake him up quite a bit but that didn't change just how exhausted he was. At least for now Izuki was going to be a good little familiar and stay out of the way and behave himself. The human had no interest in being a pain in the ass today.

When they returned to the room, Izuki took his place on his floor mat and curled up again under his jacket. He closed his eyes and listened to Inmai who walked around the room getting ready for class. The human opened his eyes again just before the demon left and asked. "Will you be back by lunch?"

"Okay?" Inmai didn't understand what iPhone was supposed to mean, but he was happy that the familiar wasn't injured. That also gave him a good idea of how sturdy he was. Of course that shouldn't be enough to hurt him, humans must fall in their world, too, but you never know. He looked rather frail, anyway.

Once the coast looked clear, Inmai went and turned off his water, while Izuki started to dress himself. It took Inmai a little longer to get dried off and dressed himself, but Izuki seemed patient. Or maybe just tired. But he was also standing a little closer to him than the day before, and Inmai took note. Was he really so shy? It was kind of cute.

"Yeah, I have a morning class I got to get ready for," Inmai replied. He wasn't planning on bringing Izuki with him, and he didn't really think about the possibility that he might want to see what it was like. Izuki seemed pretty curious. "Yeah, of course. But you won't be able to leave," He informed him. It wasn't that he was forbidden to leave the room, but that he really wouldn't be able to. The lock on the door would only work with his signature, and the window had a dangerous charm to prevent someone from coming in through it. Inmai wondered why he seemed so much more mild mannered today. Maybe he really was broken the day before by the humiliating punishment.

They got back to the room, and Izuki sat himself back to his mat. How sweet, he already regarded it as his own space. Inmai was thinking of rolling it up, and insisting that night Izuki slept in the bed with him, to assure he got better sleep, but now he wasn't sure if that was the best idea.

"You can sleep in my bed while I'm in class," Inmai told him while he was getting his things ready for class. "If that'd help you sleep better." He turned to look at the human, but it seemed he had already fallen asleep. Inmai smiled, taking this as a sign that his temperament this morning was based on exhaustion rather than the punishment crushing his spirit. He filled his water bottle so that he wouldn't be too parched while he was gone, and wouldn't be able to operate the sink, and left it by his mat. He tried to leave quietly, when Izuki spoke up from his mat. He looked over his shoulder.

"Yes, I will, so while you can try more things I have here, try not to gorge yourself," He said with a smile, before taking a moment and returned to the human's side. He patted his soft hair gently. "When I get back, after lunch we'll have enough time to go out and get you blanket, okay?" The demon promised, before getting back up, and heading for the door.

"I don't want to get use to sleeping in your bed," he admitted before opening his eyes when the door opened. He nodded about going to get a blanket and didn't bother brushing Inmai's hand away when the demon patted his head. Once the door was closed, Izuki stayed put for a while before he nuzzled back into his make shift bed and attempted to sleep again. It was no use, it wasn't that comfortable and just felt too foreign for him to get use to and feel safe. So Inmai told him nothing could get in or out... but what if the lock really worked for any magic signature. Where they like fingerprints, all different or where they like automatic doors? opening every time a human walked up to them.

Izuki weighted his options for a bit slowly got up from his mat and walked over to the bed. He crawled in and laid there for a minute. '10 minute, I will lay here for 10 minutes and if I don't fall asleep I go back...' 2 minutes later, Izuki laid down and passed out almost instantly. The human was all curled up in the bed with his face even hidden by the blankets with just his hair showing. The pillow was diagonal and the corner was under the blankets as well supporting his head.

The human remained asleep like this even when Inmai returned. He didn't wake when the door opened or when the demon stepped in and walked around. Izuki was out cold and would actually have to be woken up for lunch or he'd just sleep right through it.

"Alright, then," Inmai shrugged. It was no skin off his back, really. He must have really become attached to the mat as being his space if he refused the demon's bed even if he would be sleeping alone. The human could make his own choices, though, Inmai would allow him that much. Without thinking too much about it, Inmai went ahead to class. A lot of his classmates were dying to know how he did it, how he summoned a human. His teacher wasn't the only one who thought he did it on purpose. They wanted to know its name, what it was like, if it might have any power or not. He was torn about how to describe him. Did he describe him as the punk with a foul attitude, or as the delicate creature who didn't put upon anyone? What an enigma, that boy.

Inmai finished the class, and rushed right back home. Usually he and some friends would go hang out for a while, but today, everyone was excitedly preoccupied with their own familiars, and Inmai was no different. Of course, none of them probably had to worry about theirs trying to escape. In the back of his mind, he was scared he'd come home to find his human familiar had tried his luck with the window, and would be crying and screaming on the ground, arms charred black. He assumed the worst when it came to human delicacy and interacting with magic and enchantments.

The furthest thing in the world from Izuki was danger. He sighed with relief, smiling to himself, when he saw his small form curled up in his bed. He must really be tired, since he hadn't woken up even when Inmai sat on the edge of the bed with him. Izuki slept so peacefully, Inmai felt a little bad waking him up, but he had to, they needed to eat, then go shopping. He could leave Izuki, sure, but what if he woke up, and panicked if he thought Inmai never returned?

He gently patted his shoulder.

"Hey, there, not getting used to sleeping in my bed, are you?" He whispered.

Izuki shifted slightly and opened his eyes only to see Inmai looking down at him. He jumped a bit and sat up realizing that he was in the demons bed. The human was pretty embarrassed but he turned away a bit. "I just wanted to see how demons slept. This bed is exactly like mine back home." He moved to sit on the edge next to Inmai. Izuki was feeling a bit better so he was alright being at least a tiny bit sassy.

"So did you come back to feed me?" Izuki didn't really want to go back and get a blanket just to have to sleep on the mat again. He would prefer to sleep in the bed but it's not like he really could take over Inmai's bed. "Do you have any other sweet foods? I really like sweets.... it's kind of a problem." The human got up and looked around seeing his waterbottle had been filled. He took the bottle and drank almost half the bottle. Izuki was just too thirsty to turn it down again. Plus he had access to this without Inmai getting involved.

Izuki watched as the demon got up and began preparing lunch. "Mind if I ask, how was class? Are people still harassing you about summoning a weak human like me? Would it have even helped if I was big and strong like a sumo wrestler or something?" Izuki felt somewhat bad but he wasn't really showing it anymore.

"Huh," Inmai looked at his bed. He never really considered how humans slept. "That's interesting to know. Glad it wasn't too hard to adjust to," He said with a smile. Izuki got up and sat next to him, and Inmai was reminded of how much smaller he was than him. He must be feeling rejuvenated, since a bit of his attitude was returning, which wasn't unwelcome, so long as he didn't become a pain like the night before.

"Of course I did," Inmai laughed. "I don't know what you will still considered sweet, and I don't want to feed you just one fruit everyday. I'll see what I can cook up," The demon promised, fighting the urge to pet his hair again, it was very addicting. While the human was downing his water, Inmai went to the kitchen nook to try to find something he thought the human would like. He didn't want to take him out somewhere just yet, even though it'd be easier, because it would be difficult to find out what he'd like, so it'd be a waste until he knew what he would actually eat.

"Humans eat meat, right?" He asked him, as he was cutting up the fruit he enjoyed, as a safety. He'd get tired of it soon though, so he knew he'd have to use it sparingly from now on.

He smiled at the inquisitive questions.

"Class was fine, and yeah, everyone's still curious. Everyone was kind of hoping you actually had some secret power," He said with a smile. "Me included. But nah, compared to demons, and the other familiars, you being a su…sumo wrestler probably wouldn't make a big difference compared to you now." He assumed sumo's were a dangerous beast in the human's world, and wrestlers of them were considerably more powerful than usual humans.

"Humans eat meat, yeah." Izuki answered the demon's question as well. "Sorry I don't have any powers but humans really are weak and frail creatures that can be crushed by some of the slightest imbalances in their world. Most would lose their mind and break into a million pieces if brought to this world... No human can survive on their own here... They'd end up like stray animals if they ever tried to. Instead, we are better off kept as pets... Free meals, a place to stay and all we have to do is roll over and do as we're told..."

Izuki wasn't a huge fan of the human race but was content to be a part of it until he ended up here. Now, all the human wanted to do was get free and return to his boring and mundane life... was that really what he wanted or what he felt like had to be done. The human was still looking down trying to wrap his head around everything. "I want to be able to prove I'm not just some stupid, useless animal around here but looking at it, it's not like there is anything else I could be... I'm sorry you ended up summoning a pet instead of a familiar...."

The human finally brushed it all off when dinner was ready. He got up and took his plate only to sit down on his mat to eat. Luckily none of the food so far set the kid on fire as he carelessly dug into his meals now with no regard for any safety. Izuki found this meal to be really good. There was some sweetness to it and no bitterness but also had a strange zest to it.The human finished and slowly started to eat the fruit he liked. It was still really addictive.

"Okay, good," Inmai nodded, and pulled out some meats, trying to decide whether to make pork, which was a little spicier than pig meat in the human's world, or a meat that had no human equivalent, but might be sweeter. But would there be too much sweetness? Considering how Izuki talked, probably not.

He started with the sweeter meat, and looked over his shoulder, a little surprised at what his human familiar was saying. The last thing he expected a human to say would be disparaging things about humans. Inmai was concerned that this was coming from another place of insecurity. That he was talking more about himself. He really was a pitiful creature.

"So is it hard to not be a pain in my ass? That you feel so restricted?" Inmai said with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood. He couldn't tell him that the things he said weren't necessarily the case, thought there really hadn't been enough humans here to really tell. He wondered what society would be like if there were lots of humans, if that was just a natural thing, how much technology would be here instead of magic? Would humans learn to use magic. Could they…?

"Don't apologize, I clearly messed something up," Inmai insisted to the human. "And who knows, you might end up having a secret power, right? I might end up having a really sick familiar!" He said, moving the meat onto plates next to salad made with the sweet fruit.

"And a pet's not so bad, you know." Inmai reminded him, shrugging. "I'd like something that was more affectionate and fluffy for a pet, but you're not too bad. Your hair is soft." He teased, bringing the plates with him, and sat down with the human, handing him one plate. The human again threw caution to the wind and started to scarf down his meal. Inmai laughed, and started feeling more assured that food here was safe for him.

"So, do you like it?" He asked, chuckling.

"It is hard not to be a pain in the ass because I like it so much." Now Izuki was just being smart and smirked at the demon. He listened more to Inmai before frowning just slightly as he thought. "I suppose you would keep me if I ended up having some cool power but I don't think I have anything like that!" He listened to the comment about being a pet. "Well, it does include free meals, and a free bed. But if I am going to be a pet, I'm going to be a cat. I don't know if you guys have normal house cats around here but you might become a dog person before I leave!!" He basically ignored the comment about his fluffy hair. Honestly, he didn't mind. The human liked his soft hair.

Izuki devoured his food happily and simply gave a quick nod to Inmai as he asked if the human enjoyed it. Once he was finished, Izuki got up and put his plate on the counter having cleaned it off. "So, do you want me to act like a pet cat? Because I'm willing to do that!!" He was clearly planning something. Cats lounged about all day and annoyed the crap out of people at awful hours of the night. They inconveniently placed themselves on top of their masters and scratched at things randomly. They also got in the way when their human tried to work. If he was going to be any animal, a cat suit his personality to a tee.

"Are you sure you want to go out and get me a blanket? My jacket is long enough to cover me completely. Plus, you don't want me around long so why waste so much money buying things you probably won't have a use for later?"

Inmai was about to make a crack about giving him a pain in the ass, but had to hold his tongue. He wasn't one of his friends with whom talking like that was the norm, and not an empty threat. He didn't want to petrify the poor thing.

Inmai paused in his chewing. Keep him if he did end up having some awesome abilities? He really hadn't thought about that being a possibility, what would he do? He glanced at the human, as he dug into the strange meal with ease and delight. He'd never heard of a familiar who wanted to leave this world before, because most came from very different plains of existence. He didn't even know if there were any laws about that, if it was even legal for someone to keep a familiar who didn't want to be there.

"A cat?" He laughed. That was a pet that overlapped, demons had them to. "You don't see many cats kept on collars and leashes though," The demon teased him. But he'd make a fine cat! He was aloof and snarky. He just needed to start batting things off of the shelves and he was a perfect match.

"I want you to act like a cat that doesn't destroy my property," he replied, thinking of all his books, and other things he didn't want scratched up or chewed up. Not that a human would really do that, was he even equipped with claws and teeth to do the job right? He wondered if he would do other cat-like things though, such as rub against his leg when he wanted attention.

"No cat of mine's sleeping with just a jacket," Inmai insisted. "Unless you want to start sleeping in my bed with me, the blanket's not going to go to waste."

"What's the point in being a cat that doesn't knock a few books off the self or sit on your homework when you're clearly trying to do it. " He laughed a bit. It was nice to play around like this. "Hey, if I do sleep on the bed with you, you know I'm going to sleep on your face, right?" Izuki was feeling a little better about his accommodations. "Alrighty then, looks like we are going to get a blanket..... I am coming, right?" Izuki realized Inmai could just leave him here and get a blanket himself.

When he found he could also go, the human smiled and followed him out after grabbing his cell phone and jacket. Izuki looked at his phone and saw it was nearly dead. Probably from being in a dead zone for too long. Now that he thought about it, Izuki actually had a solar charger. He sat near the windows in school and away from an outlet so his friend bought him one. It was good for his phone and ipod which was good.

Izuki pocketed the phone and followed close behind the demon. Izuki was able to hold himself a little higher and, though he stayed close, he wasn't on top of Inmai this time and didn't look like he was going to collapse. Sure he was tired but it wasn't nearly as bad now.

Inmai laughed. What a cheeky little bastard. But he was glad his spirits had returned after a hearty nap. He just better not be serious about fucking up some of his books. He went into the kitchen and cleaned off the plates when they were both done. He laughed as he finished, looking back at his pet cat.

"If you try, I'll chain you up against the wall," He said, and smirked. "And then I can pet you wherever I want," So far he'd only patted his head, but he wondered if he'd object to being pet elsewhere, as if he really were a pet cat.

"Yeah, you're coming," He was a bit surprised in the question. He thought he told him he'd be bringing him along, and the sound to his voice seemed… he couldn't put his finger on it. But if he really was just a pet, a lot of pets just got left home a lot of time. And Izuki would have more than his fair share of that in the upcoming few days. Izuki followed his summoner out the door and out the building. Inmai noticed he had a lot more confidence in his step than this morning, though now he was well-rested, and not about to shower in a communal area for demons.

"It's not too far off here," Inmai assured him.
