Demon's Summoning (Noise Prince x WolfDog12) [18+]

The last hit still hurt just as much as the others and Izuki wouldn't have known the difference if it wasn't for the duller sound that was more slap like then the harsh crack that had been coming down and ringing through his ears with ever harsh amounts of sheer pain. It seemed like Inmai didn't want to hear any sound out of him except for that of his yelps from the pain as well as the sound his ass made every time it was struck. Still, his white knuckles and red rear clearly weren't enough for the demon...

Hearing that his punishment wasn't yet over made him wonder just how much more there could possibly be. Was Inmai planning on showing him off like this or continue hitting him until he bled... not that that would be anytime soon. Izuki would just have to bear with it the best that he could. He quickly buried his face in the blankets of the bed and took a mouthful of them to try and muffle his agonizing screams even just a little bit. He was completely tightened up and waiting to be struck again. Izuki had no intention of getting out of a punishment if this was what Inmai thought was the proper way to deal with it. It was working, the human had lost his will to defy... even if it might be temporary.

Despite all of this, it would be so much easier to just call it would have been easier to call it quits and ask to be returned home... but like a girl with an abusive boyfriend who never leaves because he claims, "He loves her," Izuki didn't want to leave because Inmai was the only person he'd ever met that tried to understand and get to know him... even if it was only a little. The human was still screaming at every hit and it was incredibly hard not to just start crying at this point, of course, his breathing was already at a pant and his face was hidden so even if he did start balling his eyes out, it would be hard to tell until his head was pulled up again.

So, he allowed it. Izuki let those tears fall and stain the sheets a little, soaking his sweaty face in salty tears. He continued to whimper and scream hoping that the punishment would end soon and he could curl up under his blanket for a few day on his stupid mat.

Inmai didn't get any verbal response, but he felt his lithe body tense, shuffle on his lap, his rear bright red in contrast to the rest of his body. His fists tightened, one over a bandaged wound, his face pushed deep into his bed, buried in the blanket. Inmai knew he was getting his point across. The demon was trying to ignore it, but he was enjoying this. He liked having the small, pitiful creature helplessly bound over his lap, able to do nothing as he spanked his ass to his own satisfaction. He liked his whimpers, his cries, the way his ass moved when hit, the colors changing. But that wasn't why he was doing this, and it wouldn't get in the way of what he was trying to accomplish.

After letting him recover for a few moments, Inmai resumed. He didn't hit hard, he didn't need to, as his pet was readily moved to tears as he struck him, squirming over his thigh as the stinging and the heat built up under his skin. His cries were being muffled after every slap. He knew he was done, so he ended with a firm slap, but the lightest, and rested his hand against the red. So hot. He sat in silence, only listening to Izuki's crying. Inmai would bet his striking eyes looked beautiful when they were watery, brimming with tears.

He waited another few moments, until his crying had become silent under the muffling sheets. He started to raise him again, wanting to hug him in his chest, put his face on his shoulder to support him while he squeezed out the last few tears. He wanted to whisper in his ear that it was okay now, that he needed to have him know how important he was that he listen and stay close. But Inmai assumed that was the last thing the human wanted or needed right now, so instead he lowered him back to the floor, on his knees, in the starting position. If he wanted to be held, he could put himself back in his lap if he wanted, and wrap his arms around him like earlier that day.

"Want to tell me why you're sorry?" Inmai said, his tone softer than the words that came out.

Izuki felt as if Inmai was just having fun with this now as he continued to swat at the human's rear seeking a reaction, Izuki so readily gave. The human was still at the demon's mercy until he finally stopped and left the weak creature to try and calm down. It was hard but he managed to stop the water works and pathetic whimpering, but he still had a terrible lump in his throat that made it hard to talk and his face was soaked in tears, his eyes now puffy and red, though not quite comparable to redness of his ass.

He was finally placed back on his knees but there was no way to sit on his feet like he normally would and he had no hands to hold himself up. Izuki leaned forward and pressed his head against Inmai's knees for support with no other option, still, he was going to answer the question even if he couldn't look the demon in the eye. Of course, he hoped eye contact wasn't needed because there was no way to provide that at the moment.

"I'm sorry I fought with you... I'm sorry for running away.... and I'm sorry for writing down that information on your friend...." It was hard to talk since his throat still felt tight but Izuki somehow managed it. "I'm sorry for being the worst familiar and having the worst attitude any human could possess.... I'm also sorry for lying...." It was something so trivial but he thought he should mention that Izuki did lie about his height and the average height of humans. He was below average for males his age and was just barely in the lower, average range for females his age. As much as it sucked, he shouldn't have lied about something so stupid and trivial.

Izuki then closed his eyes just hoping that he would be told he could put something on for clothes and could curl up on his mat under his thin, yet heavier, blanket.

Inmai was surprised when Izuki leaned forward and rested his head on his knee like that. It seemed so affectionate, maybe this was his way of asking to be held. Then he realized, his arms were still bound and he wasn't going to sit back on his heels with his ass in the condition it was, and he felt a little silly for not realizing this was just a means to keep balance. He was still crying softly, he could see he was still trying to get his breathing even as well, but he was at least capable of answering.

And he did. There was no haughtiness in his voice, no defiance, no snark, no sarcasm. A genuine apology, a real understanding. Inmai had spanked him pretty hard, but he didn't think he was just acting to avoid being hit anymore, he sounded so earnest in his apology. Without thinking, Inmai gently started running his hand over his head, gently petting his soft purple hair. Inmai was about to tell him that he accepted his apology, that he took his punishment well, when the next thing that Izuki managed to squeeze past his throat was an apology the demon never asked for.

Inmai fancied himself a hard ass at times. When he was punishing Izuki, whether the day before by binding him to the wall, or now, he felt he was stern, strict, exerting a much needed dose of discipline to his familiar. He had planned to not let him redress until morning, and only let him if he behaved. He wasn't going to give him any of his favorite fruit for dinner, either. But now, as he cried, leaning against his leg like this, apologizing for simply being… he couldn't bring himself to drag out his tormenting any further. He was not gentle when he was over his knee, his sore ass would be enough for quite some time. Pushing him further would only cement the human's hatred, and break all trust or friendship they had together. So he would cut up the fruit for dinner as he redressed, but that was for later.

"Izuki…" His hand lowered down to cup his cheek. "I didn't punish you for being the worst familiar. I punished you so you can be a better one, so don't apologize for that." He found his snakiness rather cute, too, like a stand-offish cat, but he wasn't going to bring up the parallel now. "I don't know what you lied about, but you seem to understand the rest." He moved back to that practically irresistible head of hair.

He muttered something, and the shackles around his wrist vanished, but Inmai still petted his head.

"If I have to punish you again, I hope it's never for running away, because there's a good chance you won't be so lucky as to have me rescue you next time." He told him honestly. That was the real kicker. Him running away and promptly getting into trouble. Not only did it make Inmai look bad, not only did he run off despite Inmai calling after him, after arguing with him about taking those notes, but he started a fight almost immediately. He could have been severely injured. He could have been kidnapped, or worse. Izuki didn't know how humans were typically treated here…

"You're a good familiar." Inmai told him. "You just have a learning curve ahead of you. Now, go ahead and get dressed, I'll prepare us some dinner,"

Izuki was finally able to calm down fully with Inmai's gentle tone and encouraging words. It didn't seem like he had any intention of getting rid of the human and was a lot more willing to let him stay. Of course Izuki didn't think he could handle being right next to the demon all the time but running away certainly wasn't a good idea. Sure he could probably walk to a designated area alone but not much beyond that because another demon could come along and seriously hurt him. The human understood all of this.

When he was unbound, Izuki moved so he could use his hands as farther support but he didn't move away from Inmai's leg. Of course, he was then told to get dressed, which he certainly didn't want to do right away. The human just wanted to stay like this for a while longer, but he didn't want to be any more of a pain of seem selfish for wanting some kind of reassurance so he slowly pulled away and got to his feet. His rear end was throbbing and burning in pain but the human walked shamefully over to his clothes. He did put on a new pair of underwear since it was nice to finally be in a pair and he pulled on his shirt.

Of course while dressing, Izuki debated if he should try to put on pants.... just having underwear on seemed to hurt pretty badly so should he risk it? Finally deciding no, the human crawled onto his mat and laid gently on his side, carefully covering his lower half. When people threatened they'd make it so the child couldn't sit for a week, here this seemed to actually be the case. Izuki wondered if he was going to be able to sit at all this week.

When it was dinner time, the human expected to be given the bitter fruit. That was fairly common for humans to be punished and then farther punished with no dinner or something they really didn't like. Of course this could have been one of those times where it would be the thing he doesn't like.

Inmai continued to lightly pet his hair as he calmed down, quite happy to see that he would still lean against him like this even after he freed his arms. It gave him a sense of ease that Izuki wasn't going to pull away and announce that he changed his mind and that he wanted to go home after all. He referred to himself as a familiar still, Inmai's familiar. He really was sweet when he let that side of him show.

Izuki stayed in place for a while even after he was told to get dressed, which was fine with Inmai. His aloof little cat was showing him some affections, that certainly trumped dinner for him. But he did at last pull away, and stood up to gather his clothes left gracelessly on the floor. Inmai got one more look at his punished lower back, before getting up himself and walking to the kitchen. He contemplated giving him the fruit he found so bitter, along with the sweet fruit, as he considered it earlier, but after his heartfelt apology and the accepting of it, he thought it would be dishonest to continue to punish him. Inmai got the sense he had definitely been punished enough. It wasn't as if the spanking was going to let him forget it anytime soon, either. Inmai was pretty tired, and pretty hungry, so he kept it quite simple, and after ten minutes or so, he created two places with a thick slab of meat, some sauce that was almost purple in color, Izuki's had it on the side, just in case, rice, and the sweet fruit cut up into cubes on Izuki's plate, and the bitter fruit on Inmai's- he had no qualms with it.

Izuki looked so cute and small curled up on the blanket, on his side, his eyes still slightly puffy, recovering from his ordeal. He set the plate next to him on the mat, assuming he wasn't going to sit up. Inmai couldn't help but be pleased that with such a sore ass, that might keep him in check for some time, because he doubted he wanted to risk getting spanked again while his ass was so tender. Though Inmai himself would have no reservations.

"Tell me if you like this sauce. Test it with a pinky first, or something." Inmai told him, and already began eating his. "How is your hand doing?" He asked, a few moments later.

Izuki didn't go for the food immediately and just paused there for a while before he shifted and tested the sauce with his pinky just as he had been told to do. It wasn't bad so the human slowly started eating. He didn't want to respond about his hand but finally opened his mouth. "It's alright," he flat out lied. His hand hurt just as much as his ass did at the moment from squeezing the injury into a tight fist the whole time. The human kept that hand tucked under the blanket so it wasn't seen as he used just his good hand to stick pieces of food into his mouth. He of course had to prop himself on his elbow to be able to eat it at all.

The human was on his bad arm side so he couldn't show his hand anyway and just ate most of the food. He finished off the sweet fruit but didn't finish his meal even though there was nothing wrong with it. Sure, it wasn't super sweet... it wasn't sweet at all, but that didn't even matter and Izuki just laid down and drew his blanket even farther so it was on his neck down. The human then just laid there for a while wanting to rest up a bit. Part of him wished Inmai had another class. The human reached over and pulled his ipod closer. It wasn't going to last much longer... it was nearly dead. Still, he put his headphones on and played his music and curled up tightly to close his eyes and think for a while. This was risky because now Izuki couldn't respond to Inmai if he said anything but the human also didn't want to talk to anyone or hear the other right now. He just had to hope the demon didn't try to get his attention and get angry about him not responding.

The sauce had a strong smokey flavored, which went well with the meat, since the way it was cooked didn't allow for that sort of flavor in of itself. It was an old, but simple, recipe. He was glad that Izuki seemed to like it. And he was basing that soley on the fact that he was eating it. The human was understandably looking a little glum now, even eating his favorite didn't elicit much of a happy response.

Inmai ate his dinner slowly, not wanting to outpace his sullen familiar, wanting to make sure that, even if he didn't eat everything off his plate, he ate enough. The two ate in relative silence, Izuki only responding to his question.

"I'll put more ointment on it after we eat," He said after a long pause. Even if it was feeling fine, he felt that all the clenching might of done a number on him. Plus, it seemed like a reasonable thing to do. Izuki didn't finish his plate, but Inmai was satisfied that he ate enough, so he finished his plate, and took Izuki's back to his kitchen area, and cleaned the dishes. He wondered if he should start having Izuki cleaning his room while he was out, that'd be handy. Of course, it wouldn't be fair to introduce chores while his hand still bore a fresh burn.

"So Izuki, do you want to sleep with me tonight?" He called from the kitchen. "A real soft mattress like mine might be better for your ass," No answer. Inmai turned around, more confused than angry, as to why he would ignore him now. The demon rushed to his side, and yanked the bud from his ear, unaware of what it was, and thinking for a minute that it wouldn't be there, that it might be hurting him somehow.

"Oh…" He realized that was completely wrong. "What is this?" He stared at the small, oddly shaped thing on a strange string.

Izuki didn't bother listening about putting more ointment on his injury, he honestly just wanted to be left alone. He just laid there trying to find some peace within his music until that was ripped away from him. The human jumped as the earbuds were pulled out of his ears. Typically he used his bigger, soundproof headphones but he couldn't lay down on his side with those so he used the smaller ones when he was trying to listen to music in class or in any situation he had to hide things. He used the larger ones most of the time especially when walking around in public because they were easy to see and people were less likely to bother him.

"It's music," he responded a bit irritably and reached up wanting to pull them away again but stopped. If he acted rude now he'd certainly be punished again. "They go in your ear and are connected to my ipod that plays music," Izuki quickly explained pointing out his ipod. "It's going to die soon though so, mind if I continue listening." His voice was a bit more gentle and filled with sadness.

"By the way...." Maybe this was a bad time to ask but it wasn't like he was use to being apart from his phone.... "Where's my phone?" He expected that information he took earlier to be gone and wouldn't bother checking, he just wanted to keep track of the device. It wasn't like he was apart for it long which was hard to think about with someone who had no one to call or text.

"Please give me my headphones back.... I only have about 20 minutes of battery left and really want to enjoy some music and alone time while I can..." He still looked miserable as he reached his hand out wanting to take the earbuds.

Inmai figured he wouldn't get a response, but he was going to put more medicine on his hand later, and at least that served as a heads up. The human was withdrawing now, which was normal, but Inmai couldn't help but wish that it would be like when he rested his head against him. Punishing someone beneath you was a quietly intimate task, a contradiction, as it drove Izuki away but drew Inmai to him. At least now he wasn't saying he hated him. At least he wanted to be a good familiar for him.

"Oh…!" Inmai was still a little confused, but now it made sense as to why it was crammed into his ear like that. Human technology was so funny! How did music travel up the little string? He nodded at the human tried to explain, but for someone for whom technology of human beings was beyond much of his understanding, it was too abstract, so he just took his word for it, understanding the surface concept.

He looked at the strange nub, trying to make sense of the sounds coming out. Whatever made them able to understand each other didn't seem to apply to whatever this thing was. He looked at Izuki and frowned.

"It's alive? It's going to die?" His voice carried real concern for whatever this iPod creature was.

"That's right it's…" Inmai fished into his pocket and pulled out the human's phone, his notes still intact. Inmai didn't want to squash his curiosity or desire to learn more of the world, after all. He placed the phone in the human's hand.

"I see," Inmai nodded solemnly, handing the bud back to the human. He didn't really get it, but the battery must be a metaphor for the energy of life running out, and Izuki wanted some time alone with his dying technology-creature. As a singing beast, it must only have a song as means of goodbye. He wished he knew how to help. Maybe where Izuki came from there were doctors for iPods. He left the human alone, and worked on some assignments, though his mind wandered frequently.

"Don't look so sad, I'll charge it in the morning when the sun is up." Izuki said as he tucked his phone into his jacket pocket and took the earbud and placed it back in his ear. The human then laid down again and closed his eyes, once more ignoring the world. Sure his iPod wasn't going to last long but hopefully it would last long enough for the teen to calm down or even fall asleep... Though sleep probably wasn't going to happen.... not on this mat at least.... He would have to wait to charge his iPod and phone until morning since only the solar charger would work without outlets.

Izuki remained in his one position until the iPod finally died on him and he finally shifted. The human removed the earbuds from his ears and wrapped the cord around his dead device and stuck that in his jacket pocket with his phone. The human hid himself now completely under his blanket in hopes to continue being left alone. That was certainly wishful thinking considering Inmai was determined to deal with his hand... too bad he couldn't heal his ass while he was at it.

Inmai came closer with the medicine and Izuki wanted to pretend he was asleep. Since that wasn't going to work, the human came out from his hiding spot and held out his bad hand. Once the bandaged were removed, it was clear by how red it still was that it had gotten a bit worse with Izuki squeezing it so tightly for so long. "It looks worse then it feels," He lied again hoping Inmai would believe him and think it wasn't hurting.

"Charging brings it back to life…?" Inmai tilted his head a little, trying to grasp what exactly was going on. He said it so nonchalantly, he couldn't think it was comparable to necromancy, yet that's what it sounded like, a technological rising of a dead music creature.

While Inmai was doing his schoolwork, he noticed that after a while, Izuki stopped moving, and had his eyes closed. He must have fallen asleep. He had a pretty big, arduous day, no wonder he was so tired. But Inmai would have to wake him up later in order to treat his hand. He started to feel bad about him sleeping on that mat, but the only alternative was the demon's bed, and Inmai wasn't willing to trade, nor was Izuki willing to share it with him, he couldn't imagine. He finished his work, and went to retrieve the healing oil, and brought it back to the sleeping lump.

Lucky for Inmai, it seemed he wasn't a sleep anymore, and he graciously stuck his bandaged hand out from under the blanket. Inmai sat next to him, something he now thought must look like a privileged to the red-assed human. He started to unravel the bandage, and frowned at the look of his skin. He knew everyone healed differently, and that was doubly true for a human like Izuki, but he really expected it to be looking better than this. Inmai thought the best case scenario was that it'd be more or less healed by the morning, but by the looks of it, it could take another day to fully heal.

"Really?" Inmai wasn't so convinced, as he put a few drops of oil on the red puffy skin, being a bit more generous than he was earlier, though still not enough to make it drip over his hand when he rubbed his fingers over it to spread it evenly in a thin layer. When he reopened his hand, like a sore wet flower, Inmai wrapped a fresh bandage around his palm and the base of his fingers. He was extra gentle this time, but still made sure the bandage was snug.

"How is that?" He asked him, before getting up, and moving the bed comforter and sheet back. He wasn't getting into bed yet, though. He walked over to the side of Izuki he was just on, and bent to one knee, and gently scooped him up, wrapped in the blanket, into his arms. He was so light. Inmai carried him to his bed, and sat down himself first, because he knew if he set Izuki down himself, he risked putting him flat on his ass, which even of a soft bed wasn't going to be too pleasant. So he lied himself down first, with Izuki laying on top of him, so Izuki could push himself off and position him next to him how he pleased. But Inmai wouldn't mind if his new pet cat also wanted to sleep on his chest.

"I want you to have a good night's sleep. You need rest, and that mat isn't going to give it to you." He told him in a voice barely over a whisper. It was an overtly considerate action, but there was a firmness in his voice that implied that Izuki's sleeping in this bed was mandatory. It wasn't the roomiest bed, but Izuki could technically position himself to where he wasn't even touching Inmai, so the demon didn't really think he had grounds to complain, even though it might anyway.

"My hand feels fine," He stated after it was re-bandaged. The human nuzzled back into his blanket while Inmai was putting away the ointment and wanted to close his eyes again when he found himself wrapped up in his blanket and lifted right off the mat. "What are you doing?!" He shouted a bit panicked. Izuki wasn't the trusting type so he didn't like being lifted since it meant he might be dropped or something. The human tried not to squirm too much even though he wanted to be put back down.

Inmai then laid on the bed with Izuki on top of him. When he was told he needed a good night's rest, Izuki didn't believe being on the bed would help. He doubted he'd be able to sleep at all... At first he didn't even move and just laid there on Inmai's chest. Finally he did shift and rolled himself onto his other side and flopped onto the bed right next to the demon, still touching him. It was hard to move without kicking Inmai or something so Izuki just sat there for a while hoping for the best.

The human wasn't a fan of sharing the bed at the moment but feeling the warmth of Inmai and the comfort of the bed and the safety of someone there who had saved his life multiple times, it was nice and it didn't take more then a half hour before Izuki fell completely asleep. He even managed to sleep through the night.

"Okay, let me know if it starts bothering you. I'll pick up some stronger medicine." Inmai told him, and he put the bottle away. He felt the human's reaction when he picked him up in his body before he shouted. Izuki, for the tough act he frequently had on, he was easily upset by certain things. Inmai had presumed from their first meeting that he seemed a bit sensitive, but even to react so violently to being picked up. He figured it had to go deeper than just being in a strange environment, living with a stronger person who could chain and beat him at will. Maybe the world he came from was unkind to him, as well.

But he didn't struggle against him or anything, which Inmai took as a good sign, and laid down. Izuki laid on top of him for a while, but just as Inmai was about to pet his back, he repositioned himself on the bed next to him. That was fine to, of course, he wanted Izuki to be comfortable, that was the point. He pulled the blanket over the two of them, even though Izuki was already wrapped up in his own. They were still quite close in the bed. Inmai wanted to wait for Izuki to fall asleep first before trying to sleep himself, but he ended up only holding up for a few minutes short of half an hour.

Izuki finally managed to sleep and only woke the next day when Inmai was getting up. Like usual, the human didn't move at all while he slept but had some terrible bed hair. It stuck straight up on one side, of course the side he'd been laying on. He woke up feeling pretty bad. His ass was healing a lot faster then expected and would probably be fully healed by tomorrow, at least he could sit up without it hurting too much. The human propped himself up being careful of his hand and glanced around.

It took only a moment for Izuki to quickly remember everything that happened and was quite nervous when he found himself having slept so well with Inmai. "Morning," he quickly stated making sure to tread carefully and be polite so he wouldn't get hit or anything again. Izuki then glanced at his bandaged hand. It didn't actually hurt that much... actually not at all. It probably wasn't healed but at least it wasn't in pain.

"What's today?" Izuki had already lost track of what day it was even though he'd only been there for a few days... Still, it was morning where he came from when it was later afternoon when he came here. So maybe they ran on different days too. His world would probably be a Saturday by now but who could tell. The human also remembered his iPod was dead and his phone was soon to follow. He got up and grabbed his iPod out and charger setting it up where the sun shined in. The iPod lit up to know it was charging before blacking out again.

Inmai had woken up first, as he expected. Izuki must have been absolutely exhausted, he expected him to sleep in until he was woken up. He hoped he was a deep sleeper, because Inmai reached and gently petted his hair, the smooth, fluffy side facing up. His face was so serene, no one would guess that this was the face of someone who suffered a burn, tried to start a fight with a crowd of demons, and then punished for it. The demon got up and went to start packing up the school materials he had left carelessly lying about. He hadn't realized getting up had woken up the human.

"Oh, morning, Izuki," Inmai turned to look at him, smiling. His hair! Fortunately they'd fix it in the showers later. "How are you feeling?" He asked, realizing only after he said it that he had opened an opportunity for some snark. But it was first thing in the morning, his ass still probably hurt, Inmai was expecting there to be some sassiness.

"Today is Friday," Inmai told him, then wondered if that would make any sense. Did his human's home plane have times and dates organized like theirs? Did Izuki have a seven day week? Or weeks at all?

"Do you want to shower first, or eat breakfast?"

"I'm fine," he grumbled leaving his sass behind for the time being. It hadn't even occurred to him that they might not have set weeks or the same days... the thought never once crossed his mind. "Do you have classes over the weekend or is it just weekdays? And how many do you have today?" Izuki wanted to get a little grasp of Inmai's schedule to see when to be happy that he was gone or to be upset. The human finished setting up his charger and went back to the bed after grabbing his lease book and settling back in the bed.

"I want to eat first... I don't really want to shower....." Izuki said. He didn't want to show off his probably still red ass to anyone, including Inmai. The human wanted to take a sick day and just hang in and relax. He wanted to finish his book even though he was living his own fantasy and probably didn't need to read about one. Still, he was interested and wanted to see how it ended. Besides, it felt like forever since the last time he read a book.... Even though it's only been 2 day. The human placed the book next to him planning on holding onto it until Inmai went to class.

"I promise to be good today so can I just stay here?" Izuki didn't want to go anywhere or do anything. The human planned on staying a quiet indoor cay for today. He'd eat when it was time for food, sleep when he wanted, and just stay cooped up in this room.

Inmai nodded.

"Good," though he wasn't sure if he meant it, he was rather surprised the answer was straight forward he almost thought something was wrong.

"No weekend classes for me," Inmai told him. "And today I have have just one." Inmai said. He'd like to tell him about his classes but he was afraid it'd be confusing and alien to him. But that reminded him to buy children's material so he could start teaching him to read. Today was as good a day as any to start!

The human familiar was doing something with his strange technology by the window, so Inmai was watching him, partially in curiosity and partially to make sure he didn't get hurt.

The demon figured he should maybe roll up his mat since he obviously preferred the bed, and might be open to sharing a bed for more than one night. But it was probably good for the familiar to have at least that space of his own, so he'd leave it.

"Oh, ok." Inmai thought he'd want to shower and get cleaned up everything. But it might be hard with his hand like that. He remembered how the night before he was fully prepared to lead him to the showers naked if he hadn't been so apologetic and well behaved after his spanking. With the right discipline he had a better attitude, but Inmai didn't want to be beating down his familiar, either. He liked his pet cat.

"I don't believe you would cause problems in your current state. But you can stay." Inmai walked to the bed and ruffled his hair. "You'll need to at least brush your mop." He told him with a smile. "I'll whip up something quick."

'No weekend classes and only one class today? Well that is incredibly infuriating,' Izuki thought to himself as he fished what he was doing and returned to bed. It didn't seem like Inmai was too thrilled about his decision to skip a shower all together but what could you do? He just didn't want to be exposed in such a weakened state. The human was weak enough, no need to make it any worse.

When Inmai brought up how he didn't believe Izuki would be a pain, the human scowled and found his sass again. Of course, it didn't come out until just after the demon messed with his hair. "Well excuse me for not bringing all of my beauty possessions when I was suddenly knocked into this world!" Izuki realized how rude that sounded and looked away quickly just hoping Inmai didn't have enough time before his class to give the human another punishment. For all Izuki knew, this demon might not have class until later.

It was pretty clear how nervous the small human was since he didn't want another spanking... though his next punishment would probably be different... most likely worse then that. Of course, that still didn't make Izuki apologize right away for being rude. In fact, he didn't apologize at all. He just looked away and hoped for the best that he wouldn't be hit or anything. Still, even without it, he was still hoping that Inmai would just ignore the comment and continue with making breakfast.

After they ate, Izuki nuzzled himself deeper into the bed without bothering to get up and find a hair brush or anything. He didn't care that his hair was a complete mess. Inmai ruffling his hair a short while ago didn't help any either. Now a good portion of the other side was sticking up as well. His hair looked completely uncontrollable as it stuck up in all kinds of different directions.

Inmai thought Izuki would be happy that he was free most of the day, since he seemed so saddened the day before when he left for his two later classes. He even hugged him and asked for him to return early. Of course, that was before he got spanked, so obviously his attitude would change. Though Inmai wasn't very happy with it.

"I'm going into town after class to buy things so you can learn to read," He told him, thinking he might also want to stay home when he went, and thus a little happier with having more time alone. But he was a little pleased himself to get a rather spirited scowl from the teasing.

"Well, you remember where the brush is, right?" Inmai replied, chuckling. He had a much broader range of what he considered respectful or acceptable. Maybe some demons would turn their noses at the way he would let a human talk to him, but Inmai liked it. He liked Izuki, and his snark was part of him, it was fun. Inmai didn't really sense any malice, so he took it in good will. Now outright contradicting his requests or orders were something else, or even showing such sass in a particularly spiteful manner would be things he would think were disrespectful enough to need corrective measures. He hoped that wouldn't be too often, and Izuki would start getting the hint without the need to be punished every night. But if he acted the way he had been those past two nights, Inmai wasn't reluctant to discipline him as much as he needed.

He noticed how almost immediately after Izuki snapped back with that comment, he had a look of anxiousness in his face, like he thought that would be enough to get him punished again. If Inmai was incredibly strict, it'd be so easy, it would just take a few swats on that sore red ass to serve the point, if he was incredibly strict, he'd take advantage of that. Of course, if he was incredibly strict, he'd keep his ass in that state always so the smallest offense could be dealt with effectively with a quick swat. But to Inmai, that was a really big sign of immaturity and insecurity. He could handle a pet with a smart mouth, it didn't threaten his dominance over the creature a single bit.

"Brush your hair while I finish this," He told him, cooking a similar breakfast that they ahd the day before, though he used some leftover rice from the day before, adding new spices, cooking them with the meat so they'd be grainier and flavored like the meat. He put them on long, flat pieces of bread. A fruit Izuki hadn't tried before was on the side. These were actually much more elaborate breakfasts than Izuki made on his own, but even if Izuki was just a pet, he wanted to make him feel at least somewhat like a guest. It was hard enough as it was being a familiar in a strange world where occasionally your host tied you up and beat on your rear. Izuki's favorite fruit was absent though, since, after all, he had been in trouble the night before, and Inmai didn't want to rely on it too much, and have Izuki get tired of it.

Izuki's butt seemed to be okay to sit on now, which was good. That meant he could sit up while they ate together. He brought him his plate and sat with him.

Realizing that his sass wasn't bad enough to require punishment, the human was able to relax and got up to get the hairbrush. He didn't care that his hair was a mess, it wasn't like he was going out anywhere, but he had to do as he was told. Last night's punishment was still driving on his brain. Izuki brushed it the best that he could so it was only a normal mess rather then the extreme type. The only way to get it completely under control would be to actually shower and have the water lie it flat.... but since the human had no intention on showering right now or anytime soon, it would have to do with his hair being the way that it was.

Izuki laid back in the bed for breakfast and found Inmai sitting right next to him. That was a bit frustrating for sure. Still, it was the demon's room and bed so the human was the one invading. Izuki took quick notice that his breakfast didn't include the strange dragon fruit that he loved so much. He frowned and stared at the new kind of fruit. At least it wasn't the bitter one... though, hopefully this wasn't bitter as well. The human picked it up and took a bite. It tasted like an apple with the texture of a watermelon. "Apple... melon?" He was mostly taking to himself as he stared at the strange fruit before he continued to eat it. Izuki actually liked apples a lot.

Anyway, he continued and ate his breakfast before once again handing his dish to Inmai. It was kind of nice to not have to do his own dishes but it was also one of those things that he missed, not being able to do your own dishes. A few weeks in this world and every human would find a new appreciation for the small things in like. Here, humans had to depend on others so much more then they even seemed to back on Earth. Humans wanted to depend on others but they'd get a whole new appreciation for their independence... Izuki already appreciated his independence so this was especially hard on him.

"So, you still really plan on teaching me how to read?" He had a sad tone in his voice. Izuki didn't think Inmai really wanted to keep him around, or more so have to teach the kid how to read. It would be like double the school work for the demon to have to be student and teacher. While it would be extremely helpful for the human's sake to be able to read, that just wasn't the case for Inmai. What could he possibly gain from having a human would could read? It wasn't like Izuki was all knowing and would require more and more books to even get a grasp of the more basic things. Sure it would probably keep him out of the way but-...... Wait, was that what Inmai wanted? Was he planning on teaching Izuki so he could learn to entertain himself and not have to deal with him? Be able to push him aside and just give him a book? Did Inmai even care or was he just doing this so he could also use it as some kind of punishment later? It was clear that some serious issues were running through the human's head and he couldn't shake the feeling that he was just a bother and after he could read, he'd be less of one.

Inmai couldn't help but laugh a little when his familiar's hair was still a bit unruly. But at least it wasn't as unkept as before. It wasn't too important how he looked so long as he brushed it, he wanted his pet to be somewhat groomed if he wasn't going to shower, and keep his soft hair from getting tangled or damaged. Plus, it was more important that he did it just to show a willingness to obey, as well, so it was a good sign that he brushed his hair when he was told to do so.

He didn't think Izuki would hate the fruit on the merit of not being his beloved dragon fruit, since it was still sweet, though not as sweet as that. It had an odd texture though, different from the foreign fruits he'd given him before, grainy with little give.

"Apple melon?" Inmai repeated, and shook his head. "It's a juwoo berry. They're the biggest berries in this region of the world." He explained. It was such a mundane fact, but it seemed interesting to tell it to someone who would have otherwise never known. Izuki seemed to like it though, and ate it in silence. The demon finished his own plate quicker, but sat beside the human until he was done, so he could take his plate. He'd have to get some sort of charm made for Izuki so he could activate some basic appliances. Then he'd have him do his own dishes. Both their dishes. It'd actually be really nice to have Izuki start doing housework once his hand healed, and Inmai could come home to a clean room and a cute pet sitting on his bed, reading to relax after cleaning.

Inmai was washing the two dishes, daydreaming of a day when the only thing he might have to do is cook, when Izuki's small, almost sad voice rang out. Inmai turned off the water and looked at him.

"Of course I do," He said. "I want you to be able to read all these books you've been ogling," Inmai told him. "I thought you wanted to read, too. You're so curious about everything," He wondered why he seemed so sad when he asked him, and came and sat down next to him again. "What's wrong? Why shouldn't I teach you to read?" He felt there was obviously something very serious on his mind. It was one thing to not be interested in learning something, but not interested in learning to read? As fascinated and inquisitive as Izuki was? Something was definitely wrong here.

"Juwoo berry? It tastes like an apple from my world but it has the texture of a watermelon...." There was no reason to talk about these things since there was no way to really explain what he was talking about and there was no way Inmai would even know what an apple or watermelon was. Unless they had something like that here... but this thing was a berry? It didn't even have the texture of any berries he'd ever eaten before. How strange.

When Inmai replied to his sad question, Izuki realized he was the one that brought it up.... but it still didn't feel like Inmai wanted the human to be able to read with everything that's happened..... He didn't even really want to buy any more clothes for the human then those he'd absolutely need... Why would the demon care if the human could read or not if it would only mean Izuki would want more books.... The human placed a hand to his chest. What was this feeling? It felt like his heart was being twisted and ripped at. He was breathing a bit heavily but quickly hid himself under the blankets so he wouldn't be putting on some kind of show for Inmai.... Still, why'd he feel like he was being betrayed?

"I'm sorry, I do want to learn to read... I'm just tired is all....." He lied, his voice jumpy and depressed. Why was he getting so upset? Why take this so personally? Izuki knew his own personality, that's why no one wanted to be near him. That's why no one cared about him. Why should Inmai be any different? Why should he care about Izuki and want to help him with anything unless it was to get the human off his back every now and then. Why did this time hurt so much more? Everyone else hated him, so why was it so important that this... demon didn't.

Izuki stopped his crazy mind games and placed his good hand to his cheek. Water.... He was crying, but why? It scared him to even think why he might be in tears.

"Oh…?" He didn't really have a frame of reference. They had watermelon here, but he'd never had it. It was sort of an exotic fruit, and he just never had the opportunity. Their worlds were foreign and strange and the unusual overlaps only doubled that feeling. He couldn't imagine being in such an bizarre and hostile new world like Izuki was thrown into. He was glad he was with him, though, he may not be the best, but he was better than a lot of demons out there for a human like him. If another demon had summoned him, a lot of really terrible things could be happening to him now.

Izuki put a hand to his chest, but he was silent. Inmai scowled, intently worried now. It was really worrying to have him so distraught over being taught to read. Did he hate his master so much that he didn't want to learn from him? That would sting a lot of that was it. Was it that he felt it'd be embarrassing to be taught a basic skill by him, after everything else he'd done to him so far? What was it? Maybe it was something so personal or so human Inmai wouldn't even understand.

His breathing was growing heavy, he adjusted the blankets around him. Inmai was finding it difficult to be patient while waiting for a response. "Izuki, what is it?" He repeated.

Inmai sighed, knowing immediately the response he got wasn't the truth. He was about to insist that he look him in the eye and tell him what was bothering him, to tell him whether or not to even bother getting the materials today. He had half a mind to grab his face and make him face him. But when tears started pouring down his pale cheeks, Inmai wrapped an arm around him instead, and pulled him to his chest, and hugged him tightly.

"Can you really not tell me what's wrong?" Inmai said, in a soft voice Izuki hadn't yet heard in their brief time together. "Is it because of me? Do you hate me? Do you want to go home, and you don't want to say?"

Izuki was pulled into a hug and he just tried to push Inmai away. The human didn't even think about the punishment that could come with this. He just wanted to be alone for a while. "Please let go!!! You're only going to make it worse!!" Izuki was shouting and struggling. Normally he would want that reassurance and nuzzle into the hug but the thought of being betrayed weighed heavily and if Inmai really didn't care about the human, Izuki didn't want to get close enough to be pushed away and hurt more. Why get close if it would just lead to more heartache later on?

"Please, you'll only make it worse...." His voice cracked this time as the tears continued to fall. Why did his chest have to hurt so much. Hundreds of people hated him. Why was Inmai so different, so special. "I want to go home," he whispered. Maybe it was best if he ended it now. Of course Izuki didn't want to leave but thought if he stayed here, he'd probably have to continue to suffer from the pain he had in his chest now. The worst part about it was that the human had no idea why he was acting the way that he was, why he was freaking out or crying. Izuki then bit Inmai's arm and shoved away from him, getting off the bed and running towards the wall. Maybe if he made Inmai completely hate him, it would be easier to go home with a clear conscious.

The human slid down the wall onto his knees, still facing the wall. "Please hate me," he begged pathetically. Inmai certainly wouldn't hate him because the small human asked but still, he said it. Izuki wrapped his arms around himself and lowered his head trying to stop crying with little to no success.
