Inmai barely registered that what Izuki was doing was trying to push himself away. He wasn't sure if he was struggling, or even struggling against him. He was so wrapped up in trying to comfort him. He didn't realize his pet didn't want that until he started to shout at him. The demon loosened his hold, but kept his arms around him, hesitant to completely let him out of his arms. Izuki was clearly very distraught, he couldn't let him go now. Even if he said he was making it worse, he couldn't see how letting him cry alone would be any better. Inmai didn't realize just how violently, literally, Izuki was about being left alone until he sank his teeth into his arm. The demon gasped in surprise and pulled his arm away, allowing Izuki to successfully push past him and run.

"Izuki!" He shouted. The door was locked, and wasn't dangerous, but that wasn't what he was worried about. But Izuki didn't run for the door, but instead the far wall, and plastered his small body against it. Inmai could see some red peaking out from under his underwear. His human familiar slid down to his knees, facing away from him. This poor child, Inmai really had no idea what sort of person he was, really, what kinds of things hurt him. But he knew right now, being gentle and hands-on wasn't going to help.

"Izuki, come back here, now." He told him, firmly. If he refused to separate himself from the wall, Inmai would just have to make him. If being held wasn't enough for him to know he wasn't hated, he was going to make him look him in the eye while he told him that. He'd make him repeat it until he believed it himself. Even if he had to cuff and collar him to force him back here to do it. Then there was the matter of him running away. Again. Even if Inmai was sympathetic, even if he didn't run very far, that was a bad habit to let his familiar to get into.

"Leave me alone...." He whimpered still facing the wall. Izuki didn't want to listen. He had just gotten away and wasn't about to turn around and return to the demon just because he suddenly demanded it. The human did, however, shove himself away from the wall and crawl under the bed after the first time he got stressed out. Being in a small area helped him close himself off and jar up all those unwanted feelings for the next strange melt down. It made it feel like the world really wasn't all that big and could be handled.

Still, Izuki tucked himself under the bed and covered his ears and shut his eyes not wanting to hear or see Inmai trying anything. Of course just covering you ears isn't really enough to block sound out so if Inmai raised his voice even a little, the human would still be able to hear him. Izuki would have to be forced out of his little hiding spot if the demon really wanted to see him. Of course, that's exactly what Inmai was planning on doing.

Izuki was pulled out from under the bed and forced back into the open so Inmai could talk to him. "Leave me alone!!!" he barked and tried to return to his hiding spot. "Don't you have a class to go to?! Then get going and leave me alone!!!!" Izuki couldn't help but finally speak his mind. "You only think of me as some kind of distraction so stop playing and leave me alone!!!" The human continued to struggle wanting to return to under the bed.

Inmai frowned, getting frustrated that Izuki had so easily forgotten his place and was acting out in such a matter instead of just talking to him. But at least Izuki did move from the wall, but instead of coming back on the bed to talk with Inmai, he slid himself under the bed to hide. He really was acting like a little brat. Inmai got off the bed and reached under and grabbed his slender arm, and pulled the human out back onto the floor, exposed. The demon's lips moved and a muzzle, like the one from the first time they met, clamped over his mouth.

"I don't think you know what you're saying." His voice was dark. "You need to keep your mouth shut when you don't know what you're talking about. Because for one, I don't have class for some time." He pulled his human into sitting position, and leaned his back against the bed. "And two, don't presume to know what I think without me telling you. Because you're not a distraction. You're a pain in my ass, and you're tedious, and you're adorable, and funny, and vulnerable, and worth protecting. You're my familiar and I wouldn't have it any other way." He whispered something inaudible and cuffs appeared around his wrists, attached to each other, and Inmai suddenly flipped him over the bed, so his stomach was lying over it.

"And three, you don't ever yell at me. And you don't ever run away from me again. I thought I made that clear last night."

The human's cuffs suddenly had a chain materialized, and attach to the wall, so his arms were forced to be extended ahead of him, and he was stuck in the position. Inmai pulled his pants and underwear down to his knees, exposing his red ass, clearly fading in color from his spanking from the night before, but the color was nonetheless there. He was going to spank him again, though. Not now.

"I want you to think about what you want to tell me while I go and shower," The demon told him, feeling a shower would help him clear his mind and think of how to better approach his familiar in this state. Maybe he did need some time alone, but if Inmai was going to give it to him, it was going to be with a reminder of him. He left the human there over the bed, and went to shower on his own.

He returned a while later, and the first thing he did before saying anything was release the muzzle.

"Time's up," He told Izuki.

Izuki once again found himself unable to talk. It was hard enough to try and get away from the demon and now he couldn't even utter a word of his own. That was a suffocating feeling. Still, it didn't stop him from continuing his efforts to pull away. Of course, Inmai was too strong and managed to get through his whole speech without the human being able to do anything about it... no surprise there though. So.... Inmai didn't really hate him? It was still a bit difficult to tell for sure.

What happened next terrified the human and he struggled more and more against his restraints. His wrists were bound and chained to a distant wall, forcing him to lay against the bed with his ass facing outward. Not to mention that Inmai pulled his underwear down so his ass was now completely exposed. The thought of getting another spanking was far too much. Izuki screamed in his throat since he couldn't open his mouth and just continued to struggle hoping that he wouldn't have to feel that incredible agony again especially so soon after the first time.

Thankfully, Inmai didn't hit him and went to shower. That didn't make things any better since it was painful to be in this position and not to mention embarrassing as hell. Still, it did give him plenty of time to be able to think about how he reacted and quickly realized how wrong he was. He really did look like an ass from assuming things. When the demon returned and the muzzle vanished, there was only a second's hesitation so Izuki could catch his breath again.

"I'm sorry," He said a lot more calmly. "I was stupid and reacted without thinking. I have a tendency to be withdrawn and the thought of getting close to you scared me because if you ever did try to leave me... I don't know if I'd be able to handle it... I'd probably break. I don't actually hate you either.... I only said that hoping you'd hate me and send me away sooner rather then later. I'm not like the strong willed humans... you really ended up with the low of the low... I'm sorry for that. I wanted to be with you so bad that I got paranoid...." He couldn't think of anything else on that subject. "I'm also sorry for running away... That was also stupid of me... I really am like a cat... I don't like to depend on others."

Inmai pulled down his pants partially to scare him, but partially because he really had considered slapping him a few times. But when he tried to scream behind that muzzle, Inmai knew it wasn't necessary, and just the humiliation of exposure would be enough to get his point across. He didn't want to scar or petrify his cat, that was counter-productive. He left him like that, satisfied.

He returned, and was only half-expecting a genuine answer. Another half of him was expecting more shouting, and declarations of wanting to go home, of hating his demon master. Another half of him expected a snide comment, one that would give Inmai no choice but to make the punishment more severe in order to get a proper answer of what he really wanted, what he really felt like.

He apologized. Inmai was visibly relieved. He was happy that his pet was verbalizing what was wrong, though it didn't make him happy to hear it. Of course the reason behind the outburst wasn't going to be a pleasant one, after all. His human's shackles disappeared before Inmai came to his side, and scooped him in his arms and sat down with his cat in his lap, assuming he wouldn't assault him and bolt for the wall again.

"I understand, your world wasn't very welcoming or safe for you, either. Just not in the same way. But that's the difference between the humans that hurt and abandoned you and demons like me. I'm your master, and here, that means something. I have as much obligation to you as you do to me. I can't abandon you. Even if I wanted to, and I don't want to at all. You're my familiar, and yeah it's weird and confusing, but I'm proud that I summoned you. I'm proud that I got a human like you, when by all means I really shouldn't be able to. I'm glad you're with me." He patted his hair, and loosened his hold so he could easily get off his lap if he wanted to leave. Inmai, unfortunately, felt it was still necessary to punish him, though he planned to later. But he wasn't going to bring that up now. How he acted wasn't as important right now than what he felt. He needed to make sure he was happy and secure in his place here, in Inmai's feelings for him.

The shackles seemed to vanish rather quickly.... Why? He couldn't be bothered to think about it when he was busy being scooped up again. "Please stop lifting me like that!!! I get it, you're strong but I don't like being lifted!!" Izuki really sounded angry about this and gave a cold glare like he was going to lose his temper again. Of course, he didn't and just leaned against Inmai's chest and listened to what he had to say.

"Also, don't pretend you know anything about my world. You're even more clueless about it then I am of this place." It was a bit personal when the demon brought up earth. The human was abandoned by his world, it was cruel to him... It was everything Inmai said it was, but that did not give the demon the right to start acting like he knew everything. As soon as the grip was lifted, Izuki got up right away and walked closer to the window. He wondered what would happen to him if he tried to get out there. It was no use, he couldn't bring himself to try anything.

The human backed off and distanced himself from Inmai once again. It wasn't exactly running away but if the demon was in a bad enough mood, he could have considered it so and dragged him back without mercy. 'Why must I be like this? I just want to be more social and able to control my emotions...' he thought to himself. But shortly after that, the words given to him about how happy Inmai was to summon him and everything was reassuring. It actually made the human happy to hear that he wasn't a complete mistake like everyone else seemed to think he was. Demon and Human alike. There was only one person who ever seemed to like him for who he was, and that was Inmai. Still, maybe it was too early to try and get any closer... maybe they were just rushing things. Izuki wasn't emotionally ready to handle someone as kind to him as Inmai was so he would have to keep his distance until his heart could handle someone being nice for the sake of being nice. Anyway, the human tucked himself under Inmai's desk with his book and opened it up to start reading it in the small, tight space where he could be away from the demon.

Inmai couldn't help but chuckle a little at his protests. He really was like a stubborn cat at times. But when he sat down, Izuki leaned against his chest, affirming Inmai's suspicious that he found comfort in being held, even if he wouldn't admit it. His small body was really warm.

"So am I wrong?" The demon asked, when Izuki accused him of not knowing about earth. It was true, he knew nothing of the world, but he could tell some things based on what Izuki had told him, and he felt he was one the nose enough for those assumptions to mean something.

Izuki left his arms almost the moment he was given leeway, and went straight for the window, which made Inmai jump a bit in shock, but realized he wasn't going to actually touch it and kill himself. Rather, he just sort of looked out, forlorn. He tried to make it clear how he felt about him, how he wanted him, how he didn't hate him, but Inmai wasn't sure if he was truly hearing him when he said those things. He didn't say anything, and just took his book, and crawled under the desk. Still avoiding him. Inmai frowned.

"Fine, then." He said, standing back up. "I guess I might as well head to class." He picked up his bag, and placed Izuki's blanket next to him, since he was going to be there a while, since Inmai had a collar and chain attach to the wall materialize around his neck. It was a long chain, though, at the very least, so he'd be able to crawl out and walk a bit if he needed to. "We'll talk when I get back," He told him, and again he left him chained. At least this time he had a lot more mobility, he even had his water bottle in reach, but Inmai would be gone for much longer.

Inmai went to class, and headed to town. He tried to make it quick, since he had locked up his pet. But he knew what he was looking for, for the most part, so picking out a few teachings tools didn't take too much time, along with other aides, such as a notebook for Izuki to practice writing in, and such. The demon practically ran all the way home, he almost wanted to dissipate the collar and chain the moment he walked in, but he refrained. He needed to literally and figuratively keep Izuki on a leash for a while. He placed the new materials on the desk, and set down a thin rod and paddle on the floor next to the desk. He wasn't planning on using them anytime soon, but if Izuki knew what they were for, he hoped it'd encourage him to behave better. He seemed to hate being spanked enough as it is when it was just his hand.

"If you want that collar off, you need to actually communicate with me. I'm tired of having to tie up up and corner you to have a few moments of a real conversation. And you need to stop walking off away from me anytime you're upset. I thought we had come to an understanding about that."

Izuki placed a hand to the collar as it materialized around his neck. He couldn't blame Inmai for locking him up but the human couldn't even leave the room so what was the point.... well it wasn't like the chain was too loose. It didn't allow him to reach the opposite end of the room, nor did it let him get to the window or kitchen area.... Izuki probably couldn't even reach the door. Still, he didn't want to be bound even though no one could blame Inmai. The human looked at the blanket placed next to him and was pretty thankful and yet, he couldn't say anything. Izuki just watched as the demon left.

The human placed the blanket over his legs and opened his book. He managed to finish the book in the time it took Inmai to have class. Finally, Izuki crawled out from under the desk and stood stretching. He walked around a little and drank nearly all his water. The human then stretch some more when Inmai came in. Izuki backed off just to give him space but didn't really running away. He watched as the demon pulled out the new materials to teach him as well as the rod and paddle. He knew what the paddle was for. The condition to get the collar off this time was quite a bit harder. "I'm only human.... most humans like to be alone when they're upset... I'm no different. I have no social skills so I don't know how to communicate." Now he was just making excuses.

Izuki grabbed his water bottle and held it out to Inmai hoping he'd fill it for him again. There was only a fourth left in the bottle at the moment. "If I could be anything else, I certainly wouldn't be a human."

Inmai was feeling really frustrated, but he had things to do and he wasn't sure what else to do when he was gone. He didn't want Izuki to actually try his luck with the window, the way he eyed it earlier made him think he completely forgot what it could do to him. But chaining him up didn't make much sense, even as a punishment, Inmai feared, and Izuki would just find it as an annoyance. Inmai thought it made sense to him, of course, but from Izuki's perspective, what was he getting out of it?

So when Inmai came home, he was very tempted to take him off the leash, but didn't. He could hold a stiff upper lip, he was the one in charge, after all. He was the master, and Izuki was his familiar. The demon lowered himself to his level.

"Is that how humans solve their problems?" He sounded sarcastic and stern, but he actually thought that it could be likely as far as he knew. In demon society, walking away when you were angry just really wasn't much of an option. It was weird, disrespectful, or even weak. If you had an issue with someone, you talked it out, fought, or came to an agreement to deal with it later. Spending time alone on it usually lead to just stewing over it, and it both parties actually needed time alone, that was something they talked and agreed upon. The idea that Izuki grew up with a different cultural idea about approaching conflict never even occurred to him. He didn't think he really needed some space, and found his walking away and separating himself, ignoring him, to be a great display of disrespect, which is why Inmai became so upset about it.

The demon took his water bottle and filled it up for him again, and brought it back to his pet, and sat down next to him.

"How about if I move that table here, and take your mat and put it there," Inmai pointed as he spoke. "That way your mat is against the far corner, and that can be your space." The mat was currently laid out beside Inmai's bed, so it wasn't exactly his own little hub. "From now on, if you want some time to yourself, you ask me for it, and when I give you permission, you can go to the mat and I will not disturb you, I won't say anything to you that you have to reply to." The demon suggested. "But you can't just go on your mat. It's your own space, but I won't know that you need time to yourself unless you ask first. And if I need to, I will also have you confined there as punishment. So I can have my desk back," He said with a light laugh.

"So, do you want to talk to me now? Or do you want me to move your mat to the wall and have some more time to yourself, Izuki?"

"And what would you be instead of a human? Would you like to be a sky weasel? That'd be a pretty cool familiar, too…" He said, lightly humoring Izuki's low self-esteem.

"Look, I get it, you clearly talk things out but when I'm feeling like this, I prefer to be alone.... I'll talk but you can't expect me to not need my own space...." Izuki didn't want to talk and have to ask permission just to be alone but he already acted like a brat, it was time to calm down and accept that he was a weak human needing help. "I get it, you want to turn it into a dog crate... someplace I can be left alone but am forced to when I miss behave? Fine... and if I forget to ask I'll take the nesissary punishment..." Maybe this was what Inmai wanted to hear so he'd remove the collar. It was a chance.

"And for the record, I only went under your desk once. I typically go under the bed." He huffed a little but wasn't showing off dominance. Izuki just wanted to get his point across. His eyes then fell back onto the paddle. Was this demon really planning on hitting him with it so he would learn to behave. Wasn't there some other way to do it? Though thinking that just meant that this clearly did work to control the human.

"A sky weasel would be cool... do you have a book on familiars?" Izuki walked towards the shelf and was suddenly stopped by the collar around his neck. He couldn't get close to it and nearly fell on his ass for forgetting about it. The human didn't think about not being able to read since the book probably had pictures he could choose which he'd be if he wasn't a human. Of course it was ruined by him being unable to even get to the bookshelf.

"We both clearly have different ways we need to settle things," Inmai said, nodding. "I want to talk, you want to be alone. We're going to have to find a way to compromise on that. Because I'm your master, and I need to know what's going on with you. But if you need some time and space to yourself to process thing, I'm going to provide that for you." The demon told him. He wanted to pat his soft hair again, but it'd be awkward to reach under the desk to do so.

"That's the gist of it, yeah. But hopefully I won't have to force you in it when you're in trouble and you'll just go when I tell you to." Inmai told him, a light warning. "I'm not going to punish you if you forget to ask, of course. It's your space and you can be in it when you wish. I just mean if you want me to leave you alone while you're on your mat, you need to ask me. Otherwise I'm going to expect you to answer me when I talk to you." Inmai knew he was in a sour mood so he was trying to be very patient and understanding. But this might be something he needed to remedy, Izuki couldn't act disdainfully just when he felt low, and Inmai was actively trying to come to a solution with him.

"Yeah, I have a few," Inmai told him, smiling a little when he went towards the bookshelf and was stopped by his collar and leash. "I'm going to rearrange the furniture real fast, set up your mat, then I'll unchain you, and we'll either talk more, or you can have some time alone with the familiar books." Inmai told him, getting up.

He'd deal with his attitude a little later. Right now, he had a small job of moving the small table kept against the far wall more towards the center of the room, which was probably better layout sense anyway, and moved his mat towards the far wall. This was his corner now. If he chose to sleep here, it'd be a little weird having him so far, though.

It didn't take him long, and he put an illiterate-friendly book by the mat, one that was very illustrative so that he could at least look at the pictures without help if he still wanted some time alone. Inmai came back to the desk, and released the leash and collar from his pet.

"So, what will it be?" Inmai asked him

"I want to pour over that book," He said after having gotten out from under the desk and getting the collar removed. "I've had my time alone though, so I'll be alright. I don't feel so upset anymore.... sorry...." Izuki walked over and put his pants on now and picked up the book. He then walked over and sat on the edge of the bed and opened the book. It really was mostly just pictures but that didn't matter. At least he could see what these familiars looked like and they definitely looked cool. Some of them were so small and other so large.

"I really like this one!" He said excitedly pointing to almost a cat like creature that was probably a creature of darkness. It had a long face a bit more like a fox but large ears and a long, thinner tail. It looked soft and had a mostly purple but with black fur on its back and a white underbelly. It had glowing red eyes as well. "I think I'd be something like this! What's it called?" He pointed towards the name labeled underneath the picture hoping Inmai could read it to him.

Whenever it came to books, Izuki could always calm down and forget about the things that were stressing him out. It seemed to even be helping bring the human and demon together. Izuki was so into what he was looking at, he didn't even hear his stomach growling. Of course, the human couldn't be bothered to even think about food as he continued to think about and look at all the other, cooler familiars Inmai could have summoned instead of him.... Humans probably weren't in any of the familiar books..... "Can I also see what kind of pets you guys have here? Don't worry I won't bring a dog home or something I just wonder if you guys have any normal house pets outside of what humans have; fish, cats, dogs, that sort of thing."

Inmai laughed a little at how quickly Izuki took advantage of his freedom to run for the book. He figured he'd either want to talk about it more, or be left alone. He didn't think Izuki would come up with a third option for himself. And he suddenly perked up so much, he wondered if he should even bring up his tone at all. He didn't want to bring up a potential punishment now that he was in a good mood for basically the first time all day.

The demon came and sat down next to him on the bed, and looked at picture he was pointing to.

"Oh, that's a 'Laughing Fiend'. They gain power from their prey, and if they get into a territory battle and kill one of their own, their power increase from that is permanent, and they let out this really eerie laughter. Of course, they laugh at other things too. They're really, really smart. I don't think anyone in my class summoned one, though. They're actually not from another dimension like a lot of 'familiars', but from this one. There is a sub species native to this area."

"Pets… well, I'm not sure if I have a general book about pets, one of the books I got you probably has some, though." Inmai said. "We can look over them when we start your lessons." He promised, wanting to have something he could look forward to when learning to read.

"Really?! That sounds really cool! How big is this thing? Based on your description I'd guess it's about as big as a wolf or something," He explained. "I'd love to actually see one." After hearing about the pet's book being in the reading materials for learning, he was happy but didn't put down the familiar book right away. He flipped the page and then flipped it again quickly. It was pretty strange that the human would suddenly skip a page but it was of a kind of snake like reptile that didn't look like a dragon.

"I don't really like reptiles except for dragons. You can't say no to a dragon." Izuki laughed a little not thinking if they even had dragons here or not. "This one looks like a normal bird... though the tail is a bit longer.... Still, it looks like a normal robin from Earth," Izuki said referring to the familiar on that page. It just looked like a robin with a long tail... "Ok, so what does this one do?" Then again, as far as the human knew, that bird could be as big as he was. Izuki really liked learning about familiars.

"Ohoho, not sure how big wolves are from your world, but laughing fiends are quite a bit larger. There are some legends of old war kings riding them." Inmai told him."I'll see if I can arrange something like that," Inmai wished their small village had a zoo, he hadn't realized Izuki loved animals so much. "I'll look into if we might be able to find a guide to take us to see them in the wild."

He watched as he flipped through various pages, trying to pick one he was more interested in hearing about.

"Oh, you have dragons, too? I would've thought your world wouldn't." Inmai smiled. He wondered if they were different from the ones in this realm.

"These birds can fly, and can have prophetic visions. Or at least we think so. Their eyes and brains can be used for prophetic magic, but since they can't talk or anything, we can't really tell if they have visions themselves or not for sure, but there have been studies that seem to suggest that they can. They're really good though, I'll cook one up for you sometime." Inmai offered.

"Really?! Then they must be as big as a lion!! Or bigger!!!" Izuki eyes lit up to the laughing fiend. He wanted to see one so badly now and when Inmai said he'd put something together for the human, he was over joyed. Izuki even paused to hug Inmai quickly before returned to the book. He looked at the bird. "So these things can see the future but not tell anyone?! That must suck. Hey, do you think they see their own deaths but can't avoid them? That would suck. Still, if they're good then I'd love to try them."

"We don't actually have dragon's with wings that breathe fire and stuff. Do you have dragon's like that here?! Can we see one of those too?! How big are they?! My stories have some being like small dogs and others being bigger than buildings!!" Izuki almost couldn't contain himself. He wanted to know so much now. If he wrote a book about his adventures here, it would be the greatest book ever..... though he'd probably leave out the fighting and stupidity.

This book was full of all kinds of creatures he had never seen or even could have imagined. Cat like, dog like, and even rock like. "Is this one a golum? I've seen hundreds of these in TV and movies. They also show up in the stories I've read." He pointed to a large creature made of rocks.

"Ah, yes?" Inmai wasn't sure what their size comparisons were, but Izuki was so excited about it he felt compelled to encourage him. He was so fixated on the laughing fiend, it was precious. It almost made Inmai wish he was one, like he wanted. How different would things be if Izuki was a laughing fiend instead of a human? Would they have fought as much? Had as much fun?

Izuki hugged him quickly, before going back to the book, and Inmai wouldn't have traded his tiny human for anything else.

"They might be able to tell each other, but they can't communicate with us." Inmai clarified. "And actually, there was a study that supports that they can see the future is about predicting their own deaths. If someone is going to kill them, like someone who raises them for food, all the ones who won't be killed get very angry and may try to get free and attack the person. But the ones that will be killed are very peaceful. They're a lot more accepting of death, it seems, than other beasts." Inmai sighed a bit. "Accepting that as the truth, of course,"

"Yeah, our dragons can be like that, most aren't though…" Dragon was a very large category of animal here, it was akin to talking about 'bugs' on earth. "They can be all sorts of sizes, but a majority of them are quite large. Smaller ones tend to be a little smaller than laughing fiends. Fiends sometimes hunt small dragons, or are prey to larger ones." He knew he was going to be spilling a lot of information on him, but he wanted to accurately explain the scope of what 'dragons' were.

"We don't have too many dragons here. Maybe when there is a school vacation I can take you somewhere to see the really impressive ones. Or… there is a pet store in town that probably sells small ones as pets."

"Ah, no, we call these Stones. They're living rocks. Sometimes rocks just, get up and walk, and they'll develop a mind and eyes and organs and their bodies will form to be better suited for movement, and become just like any living creature. Just made of stone. We have golums too, but they're a result of spells. Not natural, like stones."

Sure, he was taking in a lot of information but Izuki was easily able to keep in mind. He then got off the bed for a moment and pulled out his phone. Dead.... of course... He'd been charging his iPod all day... Izuki walked over and unplugged his fully charged iPod and replaced it with his phone. The human then placed his iPod down and went into his back pack and pulled out one of his notebooks for school. He flipped to a new page and quickly began writing down everything Inmai had told him with his pencil. He'd transfer the information to his phone later when it was charged.

"So you call these ones Stones?... That's strange.... What do Goloms look like here?" He continued writing while asking questions. Izuki was a fast writer and was able to jot down what he learned including the names of the creatures and things they ate, their sizes and abilities. He'd have to learn much more before anything else happened but this was a start. It was strange to write that the birds accepted death if it was their own they saw but not if another were to die. That must make it hard to raise them for death if they got violent every time one was to be killed at a time. Did the get separate cages or something? Questions for later.

"Do you guys have anything like Unicorns here? you know, horses with horns, or do you have mermaids? What about Yetis? the huge hairy creatures." If this world had dragons, why shouldn't it have these creatures as well. Also, I need to learn about the different types of demons, the races that are here because it looks like you have more types of demons then there were countries back on Earth. Of course, we can get to that later, right now we're working on familiars."

Izuki then remembered something. "What was that creature summoned last a few days ago... the talking one summoned directly after me?" While still asking, Izuki was flipping through the book trying to find the creature on his own, though he wouldn't be upset to be interrupted since he really wanted to know as much as he could. "Also, is there any way I can see the other familiars summoned by your classmates? I just want to look from a distance, I can learn about them more later when I can read.

Izuki got up without a word for a minute, something that confused Inmai, since he thought they were having a good time together, but he reached for his phone device, and switched around that with the living-or-dead music thing. Then the human got out a notebook from his bag, and started writing things down in his strange language. Presumably about laughing fiends and dragons. Still with little grasp of the human's technology, he didn't realize his phone's battery was dead, and wondered why he wasn't taking notes in his phone like he did the day before. He wondered if Izuki thought he deleted his materials, and if he really thought Inmai had objections to him keeping an electronic record. He felt a little bad, he'd have to explain himself later.

"Golems depend on their creators. It depends on what they're made of." Inmai explained to him. He watched how quickly he wrote, and tried to talk slower so he could keep his notes up. But since he couldn't read his language, he couldn't tell just what he was writing.

"Um, sort of?" Unicorns were vaguely horse shaped, but they were more akin to what Izuki would be more familiar with a kirin than a european unicorn. "We have Yetis, but they're very rare and live in the mountains. Mermaids are a lot of fun, so long as you keep your distance. They're always singing and playing and partying, but they do not hesitate to murder and eat anyone who disturbs them." Inmai explained. The demon laughed and patted his familiar's head. His curiosity was so cute, so curious.

"We have plenty of time to learn about all these." He told him. "But remember, not everything I'm telling you about are familiars. No one can summon a mermaid, after all." Or so he thought. But he summoned a human for a familiar, so maybe someone was unlucky enough to summon a mermaid as well.

"The dupant." Inmai nodded. "That's called a dupant. That's one that exists on a different realm, we don't have those in the wild here." He explained to his familiar. "Um… want to start with my other friends? I'd rather introduce you one at a time again, that way you can get up close to their familiars. Then I might take you to class." A lot of people brought their familiars to certain classes, though naturally Inmai didn't do the same.

"So mermaid's here are more like sirens from my stories. Though they sing to bring men in so they can eat them." This place was exactly like a story book come alive. Of course Izuki had long accepted his place in an ordinary world like earth, but now that he was here, he'd go and live for the most of it. "But wait, golums can be made out of anything?! Could you summon one out of water?!" Izuki was picturing it now. His hand stopped only for a moment to imagine what a water golums might look like.

"Alright, I guess starting with your friends is a good idea.... he didn't think about it at first but when he finally realized what was said, Izuki perked up. "Wait, you'll actually take me to class? Or is it a mandatory class to practice with your familiars?" Either way, he was excited to go to the class and see different types of familiars and demons. "What do you even learn in class? Would I be able to understand even if I can't read?!" He had a strange thirst for knowledge that wasn't going to go away quite so easily. "Doubt I'd be able to finish my studies here but I could learn so much more!!"

Something suddenly occurred to him. "Hey, Inmai? How old are you? I never thought of it before but I am curious. I've never actually found out..... it'd be weird if you were younger then me." He thought Inmai was older but they were both college level and, though Izuki was still a first year, Inmai could be younger.

"Mermaids here do sing, but not for anyone but themselves." Inmai said with a smile. He wondered about the books he read. Izuki seemed to know a lot of different creatures they had here, or at least things quite similar to them. But Inmai didn't think he'd ever had read any story about the human world. And he knew it existed, humans didn't know about other realms, did they?

"No, no, golems are… well maybe one could be water. But I think they have to have, like, a form. Because a spell is put into it, I am not sure if liquid could hold the spell. I've never done it, though, it's very high level stuff."

"There won't be a mandatory class until a month, I think, then it's optional every month, mandatory every three." Inmai explained, though for their purposes he'd probably take Izuki in once a month, since their situation was so strange. "But most teachers don't mind if you bring your familiar, so long as they're not a major distraction or make a mess or anything. So you'd have to really behave if I took you," Inmai told him. "You'd be able to understand anything the teacher said, within reason. But I'm taking a few courses in magic, which would be useless for you. I have history tomorrow, though. Do you want to come to that?"

"I'm twenty years old," Inmai told him. "I'm not sure if that translate for you, if our years are similar or whatever, but if I remember right, I think that's the case. How old are you, then?"

"I thought you didn't want me to go to any of your classes until after I met your friends. Don't get me wrong, I really really want to go but it is your call if I'm ok to go. Of course I'll be on my best behavior, I mean, I like going to class and learning. Knowledge is power they say." Izuki stared. He wanted to go so badly but Inmai was just talking about not wanting to just throw Izuki into the mix but wanted to ease him into it. Maybe that just applied to familiars, of course. That wasn't a bad thing because he'd be able to learn loads of things going to a history class. He didn’t bother asking what a mandatory familiar class was like. It probably was to see how well the demons were doing training their familiars.

"Oh, so you are older than me. I figured you might be but you're not as old as I thought. I'm only 19, that is, hoping human and demon years really are the same. I bet they are but you can't always tell," Izuki said. He was talking more now then he probably ever had. "What would you do if I was older than you? That would cause more problems because I don't like being bossed around by those younger or with less authority." The human sat next to Inmai again and stretched his back a bit, lifting his arms over his head.

Izuki put his arms down and looked at the demon. "Why do demons summon humans as pets? It's not like we are dangerous so you can't think it is for the thrill of fear. They're exotic for sure but still, what other reason is there to summon a creature so weak?" Izuki wanted to get behind the reason everyone acted the way that they did.

Inmai shrugged, he did say that. He was a little hesitant to take him to class when he was a little mouthy when he was first summoned, and wasn't on his best behavior meeting his friend the day before. But once he remembered a history class, he thought he might want to go to that, since he might learn a lot, even if he was missing a lot of context. Actually, it might be better to wait until they started a new chapter to take his human. He knew nothing of the past of this place, after all. But still, it'd be something.

"Well… If I take you, I'm going to have to trust you to not cause any problems in class." He mused out loud. "And you haven't exactly proven you can handle yourself with even one other person," Inmai reminded him. "But history is the class you'd probably find most useful, even if a lot of it's going to be completely new information to you. I'm not taking a class on wildlife, unfortunately.

"So I think you're learning how I expect you to behave, so I hope you won't cause any problems, right?"

"Well, whether you're older than me or not, it wouldn't really change anything for me. But if you were to be even more disrespectful or a pain in the ass, I wouldn't be as nice. You'd be chained up a lot more, I probably wouldn't have taken you out to town, or to meet my friend… I guess it depends on how much you hate younger people telling you what to do. But remember, I'd still have authority over you." He laughed and put an arm around him.

"So now you know I'm older, you're going to be a good little familiar, right?" He moved his arm when the human stretched. He was a cute, sweet person, when he wanted to be. Inmai was always so happy to have moments like this with him. He hoped eventually these happy, pleasant times overshadowed the memory of Izuki's voice telling him that he hated him, and him begging to be hated, crying against the wall. He wanted Izuki to be happy here.

"Because some people think humans are really cute," Inmai said, licking his lips nervously. Clearly he knew that humans weren't the most popular pet though, and he was smart, that answer wouldn't satisfy him. "And… it's a trend with some people in cities to summon humans, and use them for sex. So that's why people are a little uncomfortable with you, or intrigued."

"Well then let me prove to you that I can handle it!!! The next of your friends that I meet I promise to be quiet and a good familiar. I won't take random notes of them either. Please, I really want to learn more about your world!!" Izuki was a bit desperate. "I think you've drilled it into my head enough about how you want me to behave so I think I can handle it!!!" He stared at the other hoping it would change something.

"You're not much older than me, but I suppose I should probably show you a little more respect..." He smirked a bit letting out a more fun sass rather than his disrespectful and rude sass. "Anyway, you're not going to be so hard on me now because you know I'm so much younger than you!!! Right?" He smiled deviously.

Thanks to all of this, Izuki had forgotten about his little episode. It was hard to think about freaking out and being a complete brat when you were busy having a good time. Inmai probably still didn't know why Izuki said those things... though, maybe he did. It wasn't like the demon was a moron or something. He was actually quite smart. Izuki just didn't want to be abandoned.... not again... still, even through his episode, Inmai was still here, still by his side pushing to keep him as a familiar. It was scary when someone was being this nice seeing as how on earth, no one was think kind to him. Maybe that was why he acted out, he needed to be punished and reassured.

Of course, what Inmai said next about the humans made him extremely uncomfortable. "S-sex? Demons summon humans just to have sex with them? Is that why someone grabbed my ass yesterday?! Is that what they think we're doing?!" Izuki was so uncomfortable. "I guess humans can't do anything else after all. They aren't strong, aren't knowledgeable, the only thing they're good for is spreading their legs.... I guess humans are the best at it no matter what world you're in!!" He was so upset by this but he didn't run, Izuki just leaned against Inmai and sighed. What was he suppose to do? Everyone was so opinionated... people either hated him or were intrigued by him. It was no wonder people in town looked at him like he was some kind of bug. They probably thought he was nothing but a sex toy.

"I'm glad to hear all that," Inmai replied, encouragingly. "I know you're curious, I know you're excited to learn more. That's why I want you to meet my friends and come to class. He was so cute! Izuki really loved to learn things, he acted a bit desperate, almost begging, as if the obstacles Inmai brought up were of his own making to prevent his learning. That was not the case, but his near-pleading to do something Inmai had every intention of letting him do was still very endearing. He also liked hearing Izuki admit that he had been absorbing his lessons, the ones he was less inclined to want to learn.

"Of course, that's a fair exchange. You respect my age, and I'll go easy on you because of yours," He said with a laugh, amused at when it was about Inmai's age, he wasn't 'much older', but when it came to Izuki, he was 'so much younger'.

It was nice to see Izuki so relaxed and happy. If only Inmai had known earlier, he'd have handed him the book the first minute he was in his room. Maybe they would've avoided some of the… conflict. But maybe not, Izuki was pretty stubborn, so maybe even a book wouldn't have enticed him to settle down and listen in the mood he was in when he was first summoned. He almost wondered if he was often this happy back home. Izuki seemed to have some issues with earth, and mentioned quite a few things in passing that were a bit alarming to Inmai. He wasn't so hubris to think he was making him the happiest he had ever been, of course, but it made his heart feel heavy when he thought of why Izuki seemed the way he was. The way he sulked, how he would shrug off his experiences on earth. Him asking for Inmai to hate him, lashing out, trying to get that reaction to justify some dark place in Izuki that had surfaced. Seeing the content smile on the edges of his lips as he looked at the pictures of the book, the determined, excited shine in his eyes when he listened to Inmai answering his questions, this was how Izuki should be all the time. Forever comfortable and happy, readily devouring all information as he furiously wrote it all down.

Inmai's brow buried itself. They were having such a nice time together, he should have held his tongue, and explained it another time. But now he knew, he knew what people saw when they looked at him, a small human tagging closely around his master. Inmai brazenly carrying a sex toy on his hip might garner less stares.

"Hey, now… now…" Inmai wrapped his arms around him when the human leaned into him, and kissed the top of his head. "I'm going to set everyone straight eventually, alright? I'm never going to use you for that, and so long as you stay close to me when we go out, no one will ever touch you like that again, either." He promised him. "You're smart, Izuki. And you're capable. I must have summoned you for a reason. Don't let others preconception of you define who you can be here. I'm going to support you entirely, so focus on me when they bother you."
