Demon's Summoning (Noise Prince x WolfDog12) [18+]

They had finally come to an agreement about how to respect one another. Of course it was going to be hard for Izuki to accept this since he wasn't exactly the most respectful even to those older then him, but he did understand the importance and wasn't too bad with elderly. Inmai wasn't elderly but that was just a detail. At least the demon had agreed to be more gentle towards him because he was younger... but then, that was probably not a good thing. Izuki was use to being hurt and betrayed.... How was someone like him suppose to get use to someone who was gentle towards him?

As Izuki felt the arms wrap around him and Inmai start explaining that he wanted everything to be different between them, something struck the small human. Maybe that was what was suppose to happen. It couldn't have only been for the demon's benefit that Izuki was summoned here. Why it wasn't someone else. Inmai was a very gentle demon and only when he asserted his authority over the younger male did Izuki actually change his attitude. What if that was the reason they were summoned. This demon would have to learn to become more of a leader, to be able to control such an unruly human, and at the same time, Izuki would have to learn to accept that he wasn't the top dog, that he would rather be dominated.... Ya right. There was no way this human was going to yield so easily, nor did he plan to accept that this was his fate... still.

"Don't deject the idea that quickly... If it had to be anyone, I can't imagine anyone better.... Though... I'm not gay so I suppose it wouldn't work anyway." Izuki quickly explained while he was looking down. He didn't want to look Inmai in the face, not yet anyway. The small human had just embarrassed himself completely by speaking his mind. "Mind if I take a little more alone time?" He whispered quietly wanting to hide himself under his blanket for a while. How could he say such strange and messed up words. It wasn't like Izuki liked Inmai in that way as it was.

Izuki wasn't even sure if he had gotten permission, his brain was elsewhere. He stood up and began walking away just hoping that it was alright and that the demon wouldn't get upset and try chaining him down again or use that paddle against his already sore backside. The human rushed to his corner and sat down and wrapped the blanket around him, being sure to cover his head as well.

Inmai was pretty pleased with himself and his human. This was really the first time they sort of talked about this, maybe they should have done it from the beginning. Even though the age difference wasn't much, it seemed to account for enough that they both agreed that Inmai would treat Izuki more gently than he had been, and Izuki would respect him more. It was a win win, since Izuki would probably like him more for being gentle, and if he like whim and was respectful, Inmai wouldn't need to be harsh with him.

He was so small in his arms, so fragile. It was so easy to forget since demon strength wasn't usually that visible, so even looking at Izuki's stature wasn't always a good reminder. But whenever he held or touched him, he was reminded of that. Not that he was so fragile he'd easily break or anything, or that he needed to be handled like avoiding crinkling a piece of paper. But Izuki was… just enough.

He wasn't quite sure what was going on between him and Izuki, what he was supposed to get out of it. Sure, they were told that they weren't just for getting stronger, or even there for that at all, but a lot of familiar did, a vast majority. Some helped you grow as a person, and Izuki must be of that variety, but Inmai wasn't sure how. Was he reacting right? Was he heading in the right direction? He'd always assumed the familiars that guided you to personal growth were aware of it, and wise, gave advice. But Izuki had nothing like that, so Inmai wasn't sure what he was getting out of it, what he was supposed to.

The demon was so surprised at Izuki's response he almost laughed out loud. Was it funny or tragic, he couldn't tell for himself. Was he saying it because he felt he had no other use? Was he into Inmai? No, he wasn't 'gay', which using context clues Inmai figured out what it meant. He knew human divided sexuality up in a way demons didn't, so he assumed that meant he wasn't attracted to Inmai, or at least Inmai's type. He sounded like he just might be attracted to him. And that was so cute. Inmai had no animosity towards humans, but he found the act of using them for sex to be really gross and weird. Sure, they had very, very similar anatomy but… they were humans! So as cute at Izuki was, Inmai couldn't really see himself doing such acts with him. Plus, demons typically enjoyed sex really rough, something that probably wasn't within Izuki's tastes at all.

"Yeah, go ahead," Inmai told him, and let him go from his arms. Was he embarrassed now?! He tried not to smile. Izuki was a pretty odd fellow… Almost an enigma. He watched the human get his blanket and curl away onto his mat. Inmai quietly congratulated himself with coming up with that idea. It was useful already!

It was a good thing that Izuki had gotten permission to go to his corner. It may be a small space, a small corner in a larger room, but at least he called it his. Even Inmai respected that it was his and wouldn't disturb him. Still, right now he was just trying to calm himself down. He said something very stupid and for that Izuki was left utterly embarrassed. The human stayed there for 3 hours, only moving to lay down instead of just sit up. It was getting late now, closer to dinner and Izuki finally began to get up. He was alright now and ready to face the demon.

"When can I get my clothes washed?" Izuki asked. He wanted to know when he could meet Inmai's friends and their familiars but the thought of going with the same clothes he'd been wearing for nearly 4 days now wasn't appealing. The human needed to get them cleaned because he was feeling gross just wearing them. Still, if he were to clean them, he should also take a shower but with his ass probably still a nice shade of pink, that wasn't going to happen. Still, tomorrow he should be healed so maybe he should wait until then to get his clothes washed. "I'm also getting a bit hungry again," he admitted. Izuki should probably get moving a little more because just eating was going to make him fat. Though, he did have a good metabolism so he'd be alright for at least a little longer.

The human walked over to sit next to the demon again. It was hard to admit but Inmai was like a friend to him.... maybe. It wasn't like Izuki was that knowledgeable on how friends acted as it was. He never had a friend before. As he thought about this, it was apparent that something was bothering him. Before the demon could ask what was wrong, Izuki said, "Inmai? What's it like to have friends?"

He thought it was good that Izuki would have his own corner in the room. So he felt he could have a bit of a place that was his own in the hostile new world. Even if he had to rely on his master, he always had his own space. Inmai figured he should take him out to get posters or doodads to decorate it. Get a shelf to keep his books and school materials. But right now it would serve its purpose. He could pretend he was in his own room, with very thin walls, to escape the embarrassment. But Inmai found it a little cute, if he ignored the implications. He shouldn't feel embarrassed.

Inmai left him alone, as promised, for the next few hours. He wanted to hold him longer and revel in how precious he was when looking at the different animals, but Izuki needed some time to himself and Inmai promised he'd give that to him. So he focused on his studying and his schoolwork, as well as read a little bit.

"I normally do a wash during the… We can go tomorrow morning," He told him. He usually went after his class tomorrow, but they could go early to get it done. Izuki probably could really use some nice, fresh clothes. He had only gone and bought him underwear, the demon should definitely get him other clothes in his size. But tomorrow he'd have to make do with his master's clothes.

They'd be taking a shower in the morning, too, though they should have plenty of time for both. Inmai figured Izuki's body was as gross-feeling as his dirty clothes, after not showering. Imai hated going to long without bathing, but he wasn't sure of Izuki's tolerance, though since he refused a shower earlier, it must not be too important.

"I'll get started on dinner, then." Imai replied, finding a stopping point in his book and got up and headed for the kitchen. He set all the ingredients on the counter, and started making a stew with a heavy broth. It used a small amount of the bitter fruit Izuki despised, but Inmai wanted to sneak some in his diet, as it was really healthy. And the broth really didn't come out right without its juice. He prepared two bowls, all the stew he made, and set it down on the table, clearing away some of his school papers. He really needed to clean and organize in here.

"It's ready, if you want to come join me." Inmai told the lump in the corner.

When the human sat next to him, he was tempted to ruffle his hair, but figured keeping some space would be better right now. He was about to ask if something was the matter, before he raised the spoon to his lips, when izuki asked him the question.

"Having friends is…" He tried to think about it for a minute. That was definitely something he took for granted, so ever having to explain it never occurred to him. "They're fun to be with, you can talk for hours. Sometimes being goofy, sometimes being serious. You can trust them. They're your allies because of the merit of your person, they support you."

Izuki joined Inmai at the table and looked down at the stew. His mind was growing as heavy as the broth of this dinner so it was a bit hard to think about actually eating it. The human stared down at it as he threw out his question. It seemed fairly difficult for Inmai to give him an answer to what it was like to have friends. Were friends just such a natural thing? It seemed so foreign to Izuki.

"Fun times, serious times...." That was just like Izuki and Inmai. "Trust.... Support...." That was another story. No one trusted Izuki. No one wanted to support him. The human felt more and more alone and now he was in another world where he doesn't so much as know a single person let alone anyone that was willing to be friends with him. Before he knew it, Izuki's eyes were once again filled with tears and his vision blurred. He quickly wiped his eyes and began wolfing down the stew. He almost spit it out tasting the bitterness poking through. Still, he continued to devour the food even if it didn't taste very good. He forced his tears back again and this time, Izuki wasn't freaking out.

The human seemed a bit more under control this time and didn't just freak and start shouting to be hated and throwing a childish temper tantrum. Izuki was at least trying to control himself this time and rubbed his eyes every few minutes to brush away the next batch of tears. "I'm sorry," He whispered nearly causing himself to choke seeing as he was still wolfing down his food like he'd never eaten before. Izuki coughed horribly and managed to catch his breath but at that same time, he ended up dropping the spoon to the table. It took a while but he did catch his breath. "I'm sorry," he repeated in a much smaller voice before moving on.

Izuki finished eating his food and gave his bowl to Inmai, "Thank you," He mumbled but stayed seated right where he was so that he wouldn't get in trouble or be considered a weakling or anything like that. The human just wanted to have a true friend but how could someone of his personality ever get a friend bu Inmai's definition?

Inmai could see the tension in Izuki's face when he came to sit down. Was the time alone actually making him more troubled? That was the opposite intended effect. He was afraid the bitterness would be too strong, considering how sensitive he was to it. To Inmai the bitterness was barely an aftertaste, but he also really liked that fruit he used in it. Maybe human taste buds were more sensitive.

He knew Izuki was incredibly lonely. So it was no wonder he could lay in silence for about three hours, but it also made sense that he'd be glum afterwards, sensitive. Loneliness had a way of rubbing people raw through the scabs. He wanted to softly console him when he asked about friends.

Inmai's answer didn't seem to make Izuki any happier. If anything he looked more sad with stuff to contemplate. Inmai saw tears brim in his eyes. before the human wiped them away and aggressively started to eat his soup. Inmai frowned, then resumed eating his own dinner. It went by in relative silence, this time the silence felt more awkward, heavier.

"Awe, Izuki…" He didn't want him to cry, but he wasn't sure what to say in response, so he left it at that. Maybe he just needed a good cry about it. When he was done, his familiar handed him the bowl, but remained at the table, something Inmai took notice of. He was glad he wasn't retreating again. He took their bowls and put them in the sink, rinsing them quickly, and returned to Izuki's side.

"Now… why are you so sad?" He asked, gently putting a hand on Izuki's back in comfort, but also as a way to ask him to stay and talk to him about it. He didn't think he was missing anyone from earth considering the things he's said previously.

Izuki didn't want any kind of special treatment. He just wanted to stop crying so the two could put this behind them. If he didn't stop soon, it certainly was going to make it awkward this weekend with no classes for Inmai to escape to in hopes to get a breather from his useless familiar. Still, as the hand came down on his back, Izuki jumped quite a bit. That kind warmth was like a poison to him and he hated it so much.... And yet, he loved it more then anything else.

There was no way to answer this question as to why he was so sad. Izuki wanted to lie and say it was because he missed his friends from back home but he made it pretty clear he didn't have any and he couldn't even admit his parents missed him because they probably still didn't know he was missing. With no like he could give that Inmai would believe, Izuki moved closer and nuzzled into the demon hoping to be hugged. "Please let me lay like this for a while." He closed his eyes and imagined being wrapped up in a closed space, no room to move around in.... no room to get hurt...

Izuki laid there for about a half hour before realizing just how late it was getting. He moved away again and seemed a lot more calm. "I'm alright now," He managed in a steady voice. The human was then able to get up from his seat and stretched out his whole body.

Inmai almost removed his hand when Izuki jumped. Someone might've thought his touch was acid to the human by the reaction. But Inmai didn't, his hand stayed against his back, and Izuki sat there in silence. But Inmai could be patient. He wasn't always, but he could be. He wanted to him close, to comfort him in the silence, to let him feel like he wasn't alone, but with Izuki jumping at such a small touch, he didn't want to see his reaction to being grabbed. So he sat next to him, hoping, waiting, for a response. One didn't come.

Inmai half-heartedly expected his familiar to turn and educate him on his life, to finally open up, to get it off his chest. But like a cat, he kept even this to himself. Maybe talking wasn't something that'd be helpful to him, but not knowing made Inmai feel useless. Why was he so sad?

The demon didn't hesitate to draw Izuki into his arms, against his chest, when he pulled himself close to his master. The only thing he could do, it seemed, was bind him up in some way. So he held him, his arms wrapped firmly around him, but gently as he laid against his torso. He wanted to know what was bothering him so badly, as if he'd be able to solve it for him. But he'd rather not know and help him be happy, and he hoped this could do just that.

He didn't expect Izuki to want to stay with him for so long, taking about half an hour or so, before he finally offered some resistance, and Inmai released him from his arms. Inmai smiled, and ruffled his hair, relieved.

"Glad to hear it," He told him. "Do you have anything on earth called… ice cream?" It was a shot in the dark, but maybe he'd like ice cream, and it'd cheer him up a bit more. Though he may not even want to go out.

Izuki felt his hair get ruffled just before he got up, his hair staying sticking up like crazy. After not being washed, it was quick to stand in whatever direction it felt like being in. He then stretched standing up, needing to be on his feet for a while. Of course, the human paused and looked over at the demon. Did they have ice cream here or was he just pulling Izuki leg. No, maybe it was different? But then, how could it be, ice cream was just ice cream..... Izuki was thinking this over and over in his head and he hesitated a long time wondering if this was a trick. Finally, he gave in.

"Yes, we do. Do you really have ice cream here?!" If that wasn't a dead give away that Izuki loved the cold treat, there really wasn't anything else that he could say without saying 'I love ice cream'. When Inmai mentioned them getting some ice cream, the human was so happy. His mood certainly lightened up now.

Izuki happily got himself ready to go so they could have some of his favorite cold treat. "I probably could have guessed but I honestly didn't expect you to actually have ice cream here. I ate it a lot in school since the dining common always had it." The human was humming the whole while thinking about the ice cream. He was in such a good mood now.

Inmai almost laughed at his hair. The oils from not being washed made his hair stick out everywhere when he ruffled it. He needed to bathe soon. Fortunately he wasn't smelling ripe yet. But Inmai wasn't going to wait until he was to get him washed up. The human got up, and the demon watched him. Inmai could see the change in his disposition when he mentioned the ice cream, and he knew he found a winner. It was probably going to be quite different than the ice cream he was used to, but ice cream was ice cream!

"Of course we do! That's why I brought it up!" Inmai said, now getting up and putting the bowls away. "But I bet ours is better. Human make their food all different, right? With those big corporations and their processes and stuff?" He was pretty ignorant about the human world, but he had some general knowledge. And he assumed that their food wasn't as good, since humans weren't buying it straight from the people who made or farmed it.

"I guess as long as someone has cream, sugar, and ice, it was bound to be something someone figured out," Inmai said, secretly very giddy that he came up with something that Izuki would love so much. "Whoa, you ate ice cream everyday?!" He was very surprised at that, and he laughed. "Wow, so you really do love it!"

"Hey, human ice cream is great! And besides, not all of it is made by machines in huge companies. I knew of this one shop that had some of the greatest ice cream and the largest portions. It was hand made at a farm. It was pretty out o the way and tough to get to but their ice cream was always worth it." Izuki smiled proudly. It was certainly strange for him to react this way but he did have his reasons. Most humans weren't worth sticking up for, especially not by Izuki's standards but this place had great ice cream and weren't terrible humans so he didn't mind sticking up for them.

"Ice cream is harder to make then it seems you know. We tried to make some in like 5th grade science and no one could get it right. Sure we probably didn't have the best materials to work with or even all the best ingredients but we tried and only a couple people in the grade got anything that even resembled ice cream. It still didn't taste good though. It was all way too salty." Izuki thought about all the different and cool experiments they made while in school.

Thinking about it, did demons do the same thing? "Inmai? Have you ever done any kind of cool experiment like making ice cream when you were younger? We made butter in 4th grade and that came out amazingly! We also spent a lot of time sticking mentos in soda and watching it explode." This that exploded were always the best. Still, even with all his rambling and strange talk, Izuki was still looking forward to having the ice cream from the demon world. He wondered if demons had a ton of different flavors or just a few. Did they even have the same flavors as the kind he had back home? Oh the questions.

"Oh, really?" Inmai could have assumed that humans had ways to make ice cream, since they must of had it before corporations and such came into being. If it was possible here without hundreds of workers slaving away, then it must be true for humans, right? But Izuki sure was cute when he was getting defensive about his ice cream.

"Really? It must be pretty good then, if you are willing to praise it so much." Inmai said. "But I'm sure ours is better," He teased.

He laughed a little. Of course it would be hard without magic, huh? Having to rely on the science of how chemicals or elements or whatever it was for something so simply acquired to demons was something humans had to do. For the demon world, science was considered a highly academic field, not much more than basic logic and relevant knowledge was taught to school-aged demons. But for humans, they had to start learning young. Fascinating.

"No, a lot of experimenting done when I was younger was everyone still figuring out where their talents lie." He explained. "That's, basically which sort of magic we're better aligned with."

"But who lets little kids play with explosions? I thought you were supposed to be a fragile species!" Inmai replied, not sure what coke and mentos were. "But… I made some ice cream when I was younger, though it wasn't really an experiment," He backtracked. "It came out a little runny, so it wasn't much like 'ice' cream."

"It's this building right here," Inmai gestured as they approached the shop. He took Izuki's hand and led him inside. The room was chillier than outdoors, and there was a group of demons lounging about eating their ice cream in the corner, who stopped their conversation to briefly stare at the peculiar familiar.

"Inmai!" A demon exclaimed when she emerged from the back room. "It's been ages since you've come in!" She threw herself over the counter, and made a beeline towards Izuki.

"I'm glad you brought it in to meet me!" She exclaimed. "I've been hearing all about you, little guy!" The demon took his hand in both of hers, gently patting the top of his hand in an unusual salutation. Izuki might notice that her tone had a different sound than others he had heard, something he might recognize as an accent. "I'm Zuluzen!"

"He actually doesn't like being touched…" Inmai told her gently. Her face fell and she immediately dropped his hand.

"Oh, I'm sorry! So it's a boy human, then? You said he?"

"As far as I can tell," Inmai said, giving Izuki a small smirk, looking down at him. "But what I can tell for sure is that he really wants to try some of your ice cream." Her face lit up again.

"Of course it- he does!" She replied, and gestured with her hand to follow, and she hoisted herself to the other side of the counter again. "What flavor do you want?" She asked him. Inmai put a hand on the small of Izuki's back and whispered to him.

"Do you want me to read the menu?"

The layout of the ice cream wasn't too different to a typical human ice cream shop, just missing the labels of the different flavors over each large cylinder. The ice cream also lacked the texture that humans were used to, it had an almost icier film to it.

"Hey, I'll be the first to admit that humans don't have a ton of redeeming qualities so when a place makes me travel out of my way just for their ice cream, then it requires some praise." Izuki smiled a bit and was really happy to be back to getting along with Inmai. He had to admit that it was nicer to be able to talk and get along with the demon then it was to fight or avoid him. Humans were social creatures and after so much time alone, Izuki was seeing just how human he was now that there was someone there with him.

"So you guys really do learn all kinds of magic hu? That's really cool!! I really want to see you use more magic." Izuki was still very into the fact that this was a new world so different from his own. The more he was there, the more he wanted to experience more, learn more.

When Inmai showed his concern for letting a bunch of kids deal with explosives, Izuki started to laugh. "It's not that dangerous. Sure, if you aim it at someone and it hits you in the eye or something, then ya, it hurts but it's not something that can take down a wall or something. Soda is a liquid that has a lot of bubbles and a metos is something to calm the stomach. When you put a mentos in soda, the number of bubbles increase and the bottle will push away from the cap and fly into the air." He hoped that was enough to explain that it wasn't something that required fire or anything that kids couldn't handle or deal with.

"So did mine!!" He laughed at the irony that they both ended up making watery messes when they were kids in the sad attempt to make ice cream. Of course, as they were enjoying their childhood ice cream disasters, Inmai grabbed hold of Izuki and pulled him into a building that seemed to be blasting some kind of A.C. Of course, once again, Izuki noticed that he was the center of attention. Though he liked attention in a way, this kind of attention was terrible. Especially now knowing what the demons thought about humans.

Of course, that was quickly interrupted when a female demon came flying over the counter and straight for the small human. Izuki made a quick attempt to get behind Inmai but wasn't able to take a step before his hand was taken up and he was greeted by the female. 'It? She can't tell I'm a guy.... I guess it might be hard when it comes to different species but..... still.....' Of course, she did find out when Inmai called Izuki a 'he'. "Zuzu..... Zuluzen?" Izuki was having a seriously hard time getting use to these strange names.

Amazingly, she backed off instantly though she looked sort of disheartened by having to do so. The human almost told her he didn't mind but he still did. Being touched wasn't really his thing. Izuki then gave Inmai a sideways look at his next comment about Izuki's gender.

He was still very excited to try the new ice cream. Walking over, Izuki started looking over the ice cream. It certainly was "Ice" cream. Human ice cream looked so much creamier. That didn't matter right now. The touch to his lower back alerted Izuki of Inmai as he whispered about offering to read the menu. That would just make it even more embarrassing. Having the whole menu read out would just draw more attention over to them.

Thinking of something quickly, Izuki said, "Well what about you guys? Zu~ Zulu-chan, what would you recommend?" Izuki couldn't seem to get her name easily and ended up just using his Japanese background to give her a cute nick name. Though, there really was no way to predict how she would respond to the name. "Oh, and I'm Izuki!!! Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier..."

"You really have such disdain for other humans," Inmai commented, chuckling. "But I'm glad at least a few were to your liking." Inmai was still a bit concerned that Izuki had so few good things to say about humans, or his world in general. It was unsettling to think that he spent so much time being miserable and unhappy. Of course, it was beneficial since he wasn't missing home terribly. He actually wanted to stay here with him, which was good. Inmai might not be the ideal roommate, but Izuki didn't have much better to compare him to.

"Yeah, until we figure out where our Talents lie." Inmai told him. "Mine's in manifestation, which you've probably noticed. But it's quite limited right now. But I'll show you some more basic stuff sometime," He told him. He had focused on more restraint-based stuff since he thought he'd need to rely on that compared to others. Basic magic was stuff like activating the lock, which Inmai had been doing but hadn't explained it, or how he could use magic to lift lighter objects.

"Okay, so it's a weak sort of explosion?" Inmai didn't see the point. "Oh, we have something like soda!" Inmai exclaimed when he explained it to him. They didn't have mentos, but they had soda!

"So they react to each others chemicals?" Science wasn't Inmai's strong suit, but he was getting it. Now it actually sounded really fun! He'd have to find something to put in soda that had the same effect. He wanted to make a small, harmless explosion, too. "So how do you control it without magic?"

Inmai laughed with his familiar about their sad childhood ice creams, before leading him inside. Now he'd experience really good ice cream. He bet it'd still be better than human ice cream, though. He was so excited to have him taste it. Inmai really hoped he'd like it. Zuluzen headed straight for Izuki, and Inmai braced himself for his sake. Zuluzen was incredibly friendly, to say the least, and Inmai was worried that the misanthropic- or whatever the correct term for this situation was- Izuki would be easily upset by her. He really didn't need him storming out of here in frustration.

So Inmai remained relaxed and casual, hoping Izuki would follow his lead. Of course, Zuluzen immediately reached for his hand in her friendly manner, chatting excitedly. Izuki might like her once he got to know her, she also adored animals, so it wasn't at all surprising that she was so excited to meet a human. Though there was a reason why he didn't bring him to meet her sooner, and it was because of her loud personality. Izuki was a lot more fragile than he'd let on, so Inmai had to be careful what he exposed him to.

"Oh aren't you sweet!" Zuluzen gushed at how he said her name. "That's right, you've got it! Zu-Lu-Zen. I bet demon names are really different, right?" She encouraged.

Inmai saw that they weren't stocked of the ice cream flavored with Izuki's favorite fruit, which he was depending on as an easy safe choice. Oh well. He was sure Izuki would like something out of what was available.

There was bound to be some overlap in their flavors. He was certain that humans had chocolate, after all, and there were two that had chocolate. He hoped Izuki liked chocolate, or this would be much harder. He wondered how it looked different, since Izuki looked at it so strangely, like it wasn't what he expected. Was that a bad or good sign? Maybe none of the flavors looked appetizing to him.

"Zulu-chan!" She repeated excitedly, grinning wide, looking at Inmai, then back at Izuki. "You're so cute. Want to come home with me? I have lots of ice cream at home, too!" She bribed playfully. "But this one's my favorite right now," She said, pointing to a dark brown one. "It's chocolate and gayoberry swirls. It's so good together, trust me!"

"Gayoberries are sweet, and a bit tart, you'll like it," Inmai assured him, knowing he hadn't given him any yet, so he wouldn't know how it tasted. "It's great in chocolate. Humans have chocolate, right?"

"You'll love it, Izuki," She said, smiling, reaffirming she knew his name. Though she had already known from word of mouth, but thought it'd be more polite to act as if she hadn't.

"That's right... manifestation...." Izuki frowned slightly at the memory of all the things that had been "manifested" in order to restrain him to stay quiet or to chain him to the wall. Even the one that had him completely bound to the bed butt naked. Frustration built at the thought of these embarrassing moments. At least Inmai didn't persist to keep a collar on the human all the time. He could have done that but that might make people think Izuki was a pet even more and both of them seemed determined to teach people other wise.

Izuki quickly dropped that conversation so he could get those darker thoughts out of his head and moved on to the soda and mentos. "Ya, It's something like that. Mentos have a tendency to fizz up anyway even in just water but it only explodes in soda because soda is naturally bubbly." Hearing that Demons also had something just like soda gave him the hope for them to be able to try it out. There were tons of things that could make soda go crazy so he'd find something to show Inmai.

"That's cool!!! So then you know it also basically "Explodes" when you shake it and then try to open it. We can find something that will basically shake it without us having to shake it. It's the same concept." When Inmai brought it up about not using magic, it was hard for Izuki to understand why he'd need magic. "It's easy. You take a soda with a pop on top and you toss them mentos in and quickly flip it on it's head with the cap on and wait for the bottle to go flying into the air. I'll have to show you so you can understand better."

In the ice cream store, Izuki had to admit that he kind of liked Zuluzen, especially the way she reacted to the new name. He could see getting along with her, though she was a bit loud for his liking. When she tried pronouncing her name to him, it was kind of humiliating but there had to be other demons out there that had the exact same problem. "Well, they certainly aren't Japanese names, that's for sure," He admitted and then realized she wouldn't know what Japanese was.

He focused on the ice cream for a while. One looked like chocolate to him but how was he suppose to know if it really was or not. For all Izuki knew, it could be something completely strange and weird. At the mention of the Japanese nickname, Zuluzen seemed to react really well to it. She seemed super happy to be called that which was always a good sign. He could probably do this with a few people he couldn't remember the names of. He also remembered his electronic notes and almost forgot Inmai's rule about it.

"Zulu-chan, Mind if I take a picture of you?" He asked and reached into his pockets. His phone was currently charging.... Shoot!!! "Mind if I come back and take it another day?" He felt embarrassed all over again but she called him cute and attempted to bribe him to go with her. As tempting as it was, who know what could happen to him. Plus he wasn't a pet so easily traded off. He was a familiar after all.

He looked down. SO it was chocolate. Good to know. "Ya, we have chocolate back home and it's amazing!! But then I'm obsessed with sweets...." Probably not something he actually wanted to admit out loud. "Gayoberries? We have something like that back home... well we have berries of the same name but they are so bitter that they make you throw up.... They also make you really hungry... Or were those Narcoberries.... Narcoberries knock you out...."

Izuki pushed his mindless thought patter aside so he could focus on the ice cream. "Then I'd love to try this one!" He quickly stated agreeing on the one they both seemed to be suggesting. Izuki hoped he liked it as much or even more than Human ice cream. Though, this looked a little too icy... he was use to more creamy stuff.

Inmai's talent was so natural to him he didn't really consider Izuki's negative relationship with his manifesting abilities. He noticed that Izuki frowned and seemed uncomfortable, as he was very sensitive to his familiar's emotional signals at this point, though it wasn't really clear to him why he would be saddened. Maybe something from earlier was still eating at him. He was such a delicate creature, really. He was so little, and so curious about such a hostile world. It made him upset that his home wasn't much better, it seemed.

"So can you eat the mento and soda combination? What happens if you eat the mentos then drink soda? Will you burst? Or will you be like a bottle and have it just come out?" He asked. It was his turn to be inquisitive, as it was not common for Izuki to be this willing to share his experiences on earth so easily. And Inmai knew so little about how science worked so it was all very fascinating and abstract to him. Probably the very feeling Izuki had about how magic worked.

"Right, yeah, when you shake it up it gets so fizzy if you do it right, it'll expand and spread everywhere!" He answered, assuming they both acted the same. So the mentos advanced that to the point of exploding? That made sense, actually. He could see the logic there. "Oh, right, okay! So you just rely on a narrow neck to keep the aim?" He figured. So it wouldn't be a good idea to do it with a wide-mouthed glass. (17)

Zuluzen was a safe friend. Inmai knew his friend would be eagerly accepting of Izuki, even if her personality seemed abrasive, he thought it looked like Izuki was taking a liking to her. What a relief. He didn't want him to end up even more stressed.

"Japannnn…." She hummed when he replied. "eese… That's your human language, huh?" Her face fell from an upbeat smile to a widened expression, as she realized how odd it was that they were able to communicate. But she'd never look a gift horse in the mouth so her smile quickly returned. "I'm sure it'll get easier in time." She encouraged him. "But I like Zulu-chan, so don't worry about my name." Zuluzen added.

She raised herself from her position resting her elbows on the counter.

"Picture?!" She asked, her eyes lighting up. She seemed slightly disappointed that it wouldn't be now, but she nodded. "Okay, come by almost anytime! Inmai knows my schedule pretty well. We can take a picture anytime." Zuluzen promised.

"That's right," Inmai chuckled. He was pleased that Izuki had asked her permission first, rather than just taking pictures and notes. Or maybe he only did because he didn't have his phone on him...

"Really? Uh, these gayoberries aren't like that," Inmai promised. What a strange way to talk about fruits. Demons had words separating fruits to eat and fruits that were for medical purposes, and those that were unusable to them. But whatever magic means allowed them to communicate, it simplified it to simple terms. So to Inmai it sounded like he was referring to these fruits the same way you talk about a fruit salad. "They're good, they don't have weird side effects either."

Zuluzen let out a triumphant laugh as she started to reach for Izuki's chosen flavor.

"How many scoops?" She asked.

"One with one, one with two. All the same flavor." Inmai ordered. He figured if Izuki really wanted to eat a lot, he could have the ice cream with two scoops. If he didn't, he could just eat the one scoop.

"Okidoke!" Zuluzen quickly whipped out the scoops, and it became apparent that the texture of the ice cream wasn't actually all the icy, but that it almost wore thin, thin scales, just enough for a crisp, and the ice cream itself had an airy, almost whispy look when she scooped it.

"Here we are!" She set the orders on the counter, and Inmai waited for Izuki to choose his size, and Zuluzen put Inmai's information into a ledger, extracting them from his book. He didn't need to record anything he would consume on the site, so his involvement was minor.

"I think humans just throw up if they eat a mentos and drink soda. Though, birds actually explode if they eat mentos because they're incapable of throwing up. It's pretty dangerous in some cases." Izuki looked down for a moment. "At least I was told that's what happens to bird. No one has ever actually proved it yet though." He then looked back up at Inmai. "Ya, you have to have a bottle with a narrow nozzle mostly. Though, I did do it with a cylinder case. It didn't pop nearly as high but it also wasn't nearly as big as a bottle either."

It was kind of nice meeting Zuluzen even if Izuki had a hard time with her name. Having her like the nickname was huge. "I'll work harder to make sure I get the names right." Since they were all speaking the same language, it felt like to him that they were all speaking Japanese even though it was next to impossible to even tell what language they were all speaking.

When he asked about the picture, Izuki managed to get a good response not only from Zulu-chan but also from Inmai. Was that all he had to do? Just ask to take a picture? That sucked but it was simple enough to do... depending on the person... If Izuki was more social it would be a hell of a lot easier but at this point there was no way to tell for sure.... He had to learn to get use to demons first. "Alright," He told her. "I'll have to come by again soon so I can take that picture." He smiled a bit. She certainly was easy to get along with.

When Izuki was given the choice between the two ice creams, he was tempted to take the one with two scoops but at the same time, he didn't know what this ice cream was even going to be like. It seemed a lot fluffier and lighter then he originally thought so maybe it was good. He hesitated for a minute before taking the one with one scoop. It might not even be like what he thought and could be icy. There was no way to tell until he actually ate some.

"Thank you," He said before trying a little bit of the ice cream. It was amazing. It was so good that it was pretty hard to compare to human ice cream. "I like it!" He said stunned. Izuki quickly began eating more and more of the ice cream. It was still light and fluffy as it looked but it was also thick enough to be able to get a good taste. "This is so good!!"

Izuki finished his ice cream fairly quickly. It only took him a short while to eat it and somehow managed not to get a brain freeze. Maybe this human was just immune to them at this point. He did eat ice cream almost every day as it was so why not. It could probably happen, like someone being able to handle super hot spicy food because their taste buds have just learned to handle the heat.

"Can we come back tomorrow, Inmai?" He asked enthusiastically. It would also help give him the chance to take a picture of Zulu-chan for his note on who everyone was. Izuki didn't want to forget this place. Even if the demon council, who Inmai was suppose to meet up with tomorrow, wanted to get rid of him and managed to do so, Izuki would never be able to forget this place.

"Whoa, that's pretty gruesome." Inmai replied, shaking his head. It was strange that separately the two were safe, and could be consumed without worry, when they could so easily become a danger. Though there were probably quite a few examples of similar things in Hell, from Inmai's perspective they weren't as odd, considering he was used to it. It sounded really fun nonetheless, provided it wasn't too dangerous for fragile human children. Though if it wasn't a big deal for humans, it was probably less so for demons.

"Okay! You can always practice here with me," Zuluzen offered "I'm sure Inmai will practice with you, too!"

Inmai lightly patted Izuki on the shoulder, trying to reinforce the behavior of asking permission, since he suspected the human had noticed that his master approved. He hoped he'd ask in the future even when he did have his phone, to avoid any future awkwardness or rudeness. And of course any punishment.

Izuki took a fair amount of time choosing which ice cream to get, which Inmai found adorable. He elected for the modest one scoop. Inmai took the two-scoop, but didn't take a bite just yet, opting to wait and watch Izuki take his first bite of his first ever demonic ice cream. Inmai knew he'd like it, he just knew it… He spooned a bit out experimentally, then ate it. Inmai could see the change in his face, and felt triumphant.

"Isn't it? It's Zuluzen's family formula. So this is very special ice cream." Inmai told him, and took a bite of his own. It was delicious, and he personally couldn't see human ice cream beating it, but it was nothing compared to seeing a human's first time trying it. Zulu-chan was clearly flattered, grinning ear to ear that he liked it so much. Inmai and his familiar didn't even sit down, as Izuki ate his ice cream so quickly. Inmai had barely gotten past half of his first scoop. He tried to eat larger spoonfuls, to not keep Izuki waiting too long.

"Of course we can," He replied. Zuluzen nodded eagerly.

"Yes, please do!" She encouraged.

Inmai handed his ice cream to Izuki, more than half a scoop left in it, figuring he'd like the treat for the walk home.

"Then you can take my portrait!" Zulu-chan added to her new friend with a playful laugh.

"Alright, though I'm not sure how to really practice here...." He looked away a bit. "But, I'll try my best to get it right." Izuki wanted to get along with these demons. At least this time his bad habit of being rude wasn't really showing as much. Zuluzen was certainly louder than he was use to but she wanted to know as much about Izuki as he did about her. There was nothing he could do about Inmai, that was kind of a given that he would have to get along with him. Still, these two were two more people than he got along with back on earth.

Izuki glanced over as he shoulder was pat and he could easily tell that Inmai was trying to encourage the good behavior, patting his shoulder like he were trying to praise a dog. That seemed almost irritating. Still, the human managed to cap his anger and focus on the ice cream instead.

After it had taken a while to choose, Izuki went with the smaller ice cream and devoured it. He hadn't even paid attention to the others watching him take his first bite and happily watch his reaction. "So, this is a home made recipe?! That's amazing Zulu-chan!!" That was probably the first straight forward compliment Izuki had given to another.... well almost the first in his life.

The two both seemed to be on board for coming back tomorrow so that really excited Izuki. "Alright, then tomorrow we'll come back!!! It is Saturday after all!!" It wasn't much longer before it was time for them to leave. There were other things the human wanted to ask the female demon but he could just save those questions for tomorrow since it was only one more day.

Izuki happily accepted the half scoop of ice cream and began eating it a bit more slowly than he had his own. The human wanted to savor it, even if just a little as he ate while walking back. "Overall, it was a good day today," He said between scoops. The purple-haired teen was even making sure to stay close to Inmai as they walked back. He didn't care about the strange looks or anything and just continued to finish off the ice cream while walking back towards the dorms.

"I'll help you out." Inmai assured him. "We'll go over the notes together." He knew Izuki would be writing notes on everyone along with their names, he was sure. He just hoped he'd remember to ask permission. He wasn't sure if he was learning, or making a concentrated effort to be better, or if it was just that Zuluzen was bringing out a good side in him, but Inmai was glad nonetheless. He only hoped that Izuki wasn't making a special exception for Zuluzen in terms of politeness. Then again… how much did he want him to respect other demons? It didn't feel right to tell him he needed to respect all demons equivocally when they had a conversation earlier about how many demons weren't going to respect him at all as a familiar. But it wasn't right for a familiar of any kind to show too much disdain to demons, either.

Zuluzen beamed and nodded.

"That's right! And you won't find this kind anywhere else, because this is a recipe from a Mammoran family!" She added, winking, before seeing a strange look Inmai was giving her, and she glanced at Izuki, and covered her mouth a little, before giggling. "Oh! Sorry, you have no idea about… I didn't even think about that! Mammo is where me and my family is from. It's a different region from here. Humans have borders too, right? It's like that. Different languages and cultures here have divides too. Though most of ours aren't… You don't need a lesson why you're eating ice cream, do you?" She chuckled lightly, a bit embarrassed at her enthusiasm where it might not be wanted. "Maybe we could talk about it another time."

"Yeah, Izuki would love to hear about it!" Inmai told her eagerly. As insatiable his appetite seemed to be for knowledge, he felt like it was a safe bet to assume that.

On their way home, Inmai felt pretty good about the visit. He visited Zuluzen's shop pretty often, but he imagined going a lot more now that he had Izuki in tow. He looked at his human familiar, still enjoying his ice cream, who so readily called the day a success. Was ice cream that important to him? He thought ultimately, he'd rule the day a miserable experience. It warmed his heart to hear him say instead that he had a good day. Ultimately, Inmai wanted more of his days than not to be good ones in this world. When they were further away from the shopping district, away from prying eyes, Inmai wrapped an arm around Izuki. He wanted to pull him close to him, but he didn't want to do that while he still had ice cream.

"I'm glad you had a good time." He whispered.

Izuki looked at the female sideways when she brought up something strange to him. It was easy to understand the concept of different languages and boarders between lands but did that mean he'd have to learn other languages as well or would he be able to speak them sort of the way he was doing now. Still, there was the chance that he could only understand and speak the languages that his master knew when summoned so if Inmai only knew one language, Izuki would only be able to understand the one that was native to the demon.

"I'd love to be able to learn more about it the next time I come... you know, tomorrow," He confirmed after Inmai had spoken up for him. They certainly were on the same page at least.

Inmai was right, Izuki wanted nothing more than to learn as much as he possibly could and as quickly as he possibly could. A lesson on basic functions of the world itself seemed like a good a place as any to start and eventually, when the human got more comfortable with these demonic names, he would be able to handle vast amounts of the history of this world and things like leaders and important demons. For now, the names were just a burr of sounds he was still learning to figure out. General knowledge would definitely be a better place to start.

They had finally left and Izuki was walking along and enjoying his ice cream. Eventually they made it to a far more quiet area without the jeering and nasty comments and whispers. They seemed to have managed to be alone. While they were, an arm wrapped around the small human's shoulders and held onto him so Izuki looked up at Inmai who so carefully held him not wanting to ruin the ice cream. When Inmai said that sentence, Izuki could feel his chest tighten slightly. There really was someone out there that wanted him to be happy and loved to see him have a good time. This demon was spoiling him... Humans always hated him and yet, a demon, commonly known for their cruel nature and trick playing, was actually spoiling him and wanting him to be happy.

"Thank you," It was all he could say but there was so much emotion from just those couple words, it gave off a warm and tender feeling.

Izuki downed the rest of his ice cream and stopped Inmai. They were left out in the open but there was no one even around so the small human wrapped his arms around the larger male and held onto him, hugging him lovingly. The thought of tomorrow came into his head. "You have that meeting tomorrow about what's going to happen to me, don't you?" Izuki muttered as he gripped tightly around Inmai's center. It would be a long and agonizing meeting that would hopefully end with Izuki being able to stay forever, or even just a little longer would be nice. He wasn't ready to be sent back to the human world. Maybe he shouldn't have promised to see Zuluzen tomorrow... the human may not even be around, not to mention they'd have to wait till later before they could go to the shop anyway.

Zuluzen could get carried away a lot, bringing up whatever first came to mind, even when she should be considering that a human probably has no idea what was going on in his day to day life, let alone borders of an entirely new world! She'd have to be careful of that fact tomorrow when he came in to take her picture and interview her the next day.

"Okay, then! Just remind me and I'll let you know aaaaall about it," She told him, raising an index finger to emphasis her point. She was a little excited to think that the first amount of history or culture he'd learn about was her own! And Inmai figured his job was to just help him learn about the simple things, things he'd need to know in his day to day life. Maybe he should make a better effort and sit down with him and teach him, rather than just answering whatever came up. He was already planning on teaching him how to read, so it would just be a little more of his time.

Inmai wasn't expecting Izuki to respond so earnestly grateful. It was such a casual thing to say, though Inmai genuinely meant it. And he was glad he had a good day despite the rocky beginning, and middle. But to have his tone shift so much from his normal airs, it was almost baffling. He was such a good kid.

He was also full of surprises, as later, once he finished the ice cream, he turned and wrapped his arms around his master, hugging him tightly. He placed his arms around him lightly, as the human seemed to constrict.

"Yes. The meeting is tomorrow," He whispered in response. Was he worried that he wouldn't be allowed to stay here? Inmai doubted that would be the case. He requested the meeting initially to get permissions to have him returned, as familiars and masters had a very sacred bond, so it wasn't something to be taken lightly. Then again, if they wanted to interrogate him, to make sure he didn't summon a human for his own nefarious purposes, things could get a little hairier. But still, he was confident Izuki would be staying.

"I'm going to keep you." Inmai whispered softly, patting the top of his silky head. "I won't let you go."

Inmai was pretty quick to return Izuki's affection which was a good sign for him. The two were finally bonding and Izuki was happy to finally have someone by him that would actually stick with him and keep him even if it may have been a mistake summoning a human to this world. Sure, it would be so easy to send the small creature home with a clear conscious just by saying that it was too dangerous in the demon would for a human, but Inmai seemed to understand enough about Earth and Izuki to know that it just wasn't the right place for him to return to. Hearing the words "I'm going to keep you" and "I won't let you go," sent joy into the small human and he felt like he was going to burst into tears of joy. Of course, he managed to keep it under control and just hugged Inmai a little tighter.

Finally, he took a breath and they were able to return to the dorms. Izuki now had something to look forward to. He didn't even doubt that Inmai would be able to convince those in the meeting to let the human stay. It wasn't normal and probably wasn't right but at least it was Inmai's familiar so it should ultimately be his choice whether he wanted to send Izuki home or not.... home.... was that what he was calling it? Shouldn't he consider this home by now? No, it's been less then a week. There was no way to call it home that quickly. Even when people move out of their houses to new ones it would still take a while to call the new place home... didn't it?

When they were back in the room, Izuki went to his corner and hid himself under the blanket for a moment. There was a lot of squirming but eventually, he came out again. "I want to take a shower and wash my clothes, if that's ok...." Izuki wasn't red anymore from the spanking and he felt gross from not showering recently and the fact that he had been in this world for about four days now and has worn the same outfit every day without getting it cleaned once. It was almost a week!!! The only things he wore that were clean were his boxers!!

It probably wasn't good that the human hadn't asked permission to be alone when he went to his corner but he was only there for less than 2 minutes because he attempted to see if he was in any condition to bathe. Izuki still refused to take a shower if his ass was still red. But, since it wasn't, he was alright now to shower.

"There aren't going to be a lot of people there, are there?" He wondered. That was another thing. He wasn't going to shower if he had to deal with any other people... or in this case demons. Inmai knew of his more... shy tendencies so hopefully he wouldn't force them to go when it would be busy or something like that.

Izuki was so small, Inmai could feel how delicate he was in his arms. So precious. He was really pleased that it seemed like Izuki was liking him more and more, becoming attached to him. And not just when he was stressed and worried, but also moments like now, when they were genuinely and happily bonding, he chose to hug him. It made him feel happy, because Izuki didn't just hug him whenever he didn't feel safe or happy because no one else was there to comfort him, even if he had to rely on the person who may have made him feel unsafe and unhappy. He had no doubt in his mind now that this wasn't a mistake, this human was supposed to be his familiar. His thin arms held him tighter.

"Let's go, we can hug inside," He teased lightly, taking one hand and patting the top of his head.

The meeting tomorrow was going to be tedious. He wasn't exactly looking forward to it, but Inmai knew it would most likely end in his favor, and most of it would be formality stuff, and all in all Izuki would be his and neither would have to think about Earth ever again. They returned to the dorm room. It was still a little jarring for the demon to see the furniture moved around to accommodate Izuki having a little spot of his own near the corner. It wasn't as familiar a space to Izuki, though, so he had little time adjusting when they walked in and headed for his corner, and buried himself under the blanket. This confused the demon a good bit. He wasn't sure why he went to his private space and hid, when he seemed to be in a good mood. Of course, he was allowed to be in that space at any time, but when he didn't say anything, he wasn't sure if he was in a bad mood, bothered, and wanted to be left alone. Especially when he was hidden like that. Maybe he should have him ask permission to go there regardless, so that he would know that the human didn't just forget to ask to be left to himself.

Inmai wasn't going to worry about it now, though, unless he was under there for a long time. He was tossing around quite a bit under that blanket though, was he okay? He was, moments later he did emerge and came back out into the main room.

"Oh, sure thing," Inmai was about to offer to take his clothes to be washed while he showered, before realizing what a terrible idea it was to leave him alone. He needed to act as a buffer if anyone came in, after all. They'd have to both go together, which wasn't a big deal. Plus, he was sure he'd be so relieved to finally get cleaned and put on clean clothes for the first time in days.

"No, it'll be early enough to avoid the night crowd," Inmai assured him. "There shouldn't be anyone at this time, we'll probably have it to ourselves."

"But first, I'm amending a rule about your corner." Inmai told him. "Because you need to ask permission to go and be left alone, but not when you just want to chill there, it's actually confusing for me." He admitted. "Since I don't know if you want to be left alone and forgot to ask, or if you're just relaxing on your mat. It'll be easier if you ask, regardless. But just tell me when you ask whether or not you want to be left alone." He clarified.

When Inmai made the comment about them hugging inside, Izuki blushed and looked down as he was lead into the room. It was no surprise that the demon didn't like the fact that he went to the space alone but it wasn't like he was there for long; it was only a few minutes. Izuki just had to check something out. "Well if it helps any, I'll typically hide under the blankets if I want to be left alone and if I don't, then I'll just lay on top of them... unless it's so cold I have to cover part of my body with the blanket.... I was only using a bit of privacy since there's nowhere else in this room to go..."

He hoped the demon would understand, but at the same time, it did sound like he was just making excuses. "I'll try to remember but if I have to ask permission for every time I want to go over there no matter how small the reason, I'm just not going to want to go over there at all. It's one thing to ask permission to be left alone but now I have to ask just to go over there for anything? That is a little much, don't you think?" At least Izuki wasn't really being emotional about this. He was actually really calm as he gave his point of view. He just wanted Inmai to see his point as well before just demanding permission for every thing.

The real problem now was having to get his clothes washed and be able to take a bath. He couldn't go there shower, and get back in the clothes to get back to the room before they were cleaned. It wouldn't help either to have them cleaned before going to the shower. He didn't want to walk naked in the halls with just a towel and being left alone in the bathroom was terrifying especially since he couldn't so much as turn the water on or off. "What do I do?" he mumbled mostly to himself.

"Maybe I could hide myself in the shower until my clothes are cleaned.... Would that work? I can just lock the stall and hope no one comes into the bathroom right?" He was hoping for the best. Ideally, Izuki wanted to lock off the whole bathroom until he was able to shower and get dressed into nice clean clothes. If only he had an extra t-shirt and shorts, that would help in situations like this perfectly.

Izuki looked up at Inmai, his eye begging for a solution that wasn't embarrassing or gross.
