xnoblige
The Plot Prince x Bodyguard Looking for a possessive, almost spoiled SEME (strictly seme, no seke or uke in disguise) to play the second prince of a very powerful empire. He’s gotta be all emotion to counteract/balance out my character, Eden’s, emotionlessness. Now, here’s the plot...ish: Set in a sort of...fantastical medieval place that doesn’t actually follow the timeline of when things were invented (I’m going for a world after ours, but there’s still traces of our civilization here and there kind of vibe). The empire they are currently in is on the cusp of revolution because of the people’s unrest, and also because of radicals who want the countries this empire took over back. It’s going to be an adventure-type roleplay, with slow-burn romance budding between the two characters (they’re already kind of close, but not very). Kind of want them to grow in the direction that the prince is able to understand the people more, become less selfish and more giving while Eden becomes more able to ask for help and gains more self-awareness/lets people care for him. Dramas and plot can ensue more as we talk and go about it. Their relationship can also have a physical aspect to it before any feelings develop, too. If you’re interested, please PLEASE either reply or PM me a bio and we can work out details. My Character Name: Eden Aequitatis Age: 19 [October 15] Orientation: Uke Hair: Light blue, almost white Eyes: Icy blue Physique: 5'8", on the thinner and more graceful side (not very muscled either) Personality: Extremely loyal, the type who'd pledge his life to anyone whom he swears fealty. Stemming from his subservient personality, he is very mature for his age (being the responsible type), obedient, and observant, always keeping an eye on the needs of his master. His childhood was trained out of him, after all, but that unfortunately led to a rather apathetic outlook on his life. To anyone but his "master," Eden can also be very blunt, as he views lying as a waste of time. Otherwise, he has a very reserved - almost frosty - persona that tend to steer people away from him. On a bighter note, however, Eden is very patient with people, only losing his temper if they're wasting his master's time. Also, since he's used to putting everyone else ahead of him and being seen as a background fixture, he's developed a rather...secretive aspect of his personality, since he often hears many whispers. He's also secretive about how he feels, because even with his blank expressions, he still feels somewhere deep down inside. Starter “There have been rumors.” “Of?” “Revolution.” “Nonsense. There can’t be-” “Ladies,” A polished boot stepped out from a side hall, hardly seen and barely used. Perfect for surveillance. Pale skin and paler hair emerged from shadows, cold eyes taking in the two maids whispering before them, even as he stood there with a tray of steaming tea in his hands. Both maids - women well into their lives with husbands and children - blanched at the sight of him. Silver epaulets on both shoulders marked his service to the royal family, the black of his military uniform signifying just what kind of service, and finally the myriad of pins decorating his left side - celebrating all the medals and achievements he’d accomplished during his years in the military school. The only thing that seemed out of place on him was the tray. “Captain Aequitatis,” The second maid bowed, clutching the broom to her chest, “May I take that tray for you? His Highness could have called for a maid to fetch him tea.” Her eyes had found the crown supported by two lions pinned parallel to the second row of buttons on his uniform first; however, she only responded when she finally saw the pin of the sword piercing a rose, entangled in vines and encircled by another crown. The first a pin denoting his high ranking in service to the royal family, the second a pin given to him personally by the younger prince, second in line to the crown and the very man he’d sworn to protect. They were the top two pins above the rest, placed directly over his heart. A warning, he supposed, that their safety and well-being must be considered before his own. “No, it’s quite alright,” Eden replied, straightening a little as he turned down the hall and continued on his way. “The prince didn’t want to wait, so it was easier for me to get it.” She remained bowing, head down but the first maid stared on at him, the barest hint of fire in her eyes. He’d have to contact General Vandessen, warn him of possible traitors and revolutionaries among the staff in the castle. If rumors of revolution were getting inside the walls, then no doubt those ungrateful rebels were going to strike soon. The entirety of the guard and military had been waiting for the rebels’ first move. They’d been gaining momentum over the past five years after all, with more and more young people getting roped into their criminal ways. It was the perfect rallying cry for the adolescents in the poorer parts of the country to throw their lives into. Everyone wanted to be important, in some small way. Everyone wanted to be at the pinnacle of a major event, whether it be the beginning of the end or at the sights of one era crashing into the next. Eden’s grip on the tray tightened, lips pressing into a line. Whatever that would come to happen will happen, he’d already steeled himself for it. His only set goal would be to keep his prince safe, as he’d sworn in blood the day he graduated from the military academy two short years ago. The tension in his muscles melted away as his mind drifted off, recalling those memories. He’d graduated two years early, at the tender age of sixteen. A prodigy they’d called him, born to be a soldier. He had no sense of self, no split second fear for his own life that most other students and soldiers did. The king joked he’d become an even greater Imperial General than Vandessen, and the General had agreed. He’d wanted to draft him into his own specialized unit, but the king overruled him. Instead, he instated Eden as a bodyguard to his second son, the younger brother of the crown prince, who was only a few years older than Eden. And thus this relationship began. Somewhere along the way, Eden’s feet had automatically carried him through the maze of halls that made up the imperial castle - a fortress in every other right aside from the lavish furniture - and straight into the prince’s sitting room. Beyond the couches surrounding a posh fire pit made of fortified glass, a set of double doors opened up into a bedroom that was dark save for the lonely flickering of a tiny candle flame. “Your Highness,” Eden called, placing the tray down on one of the end tables by the sofa, “I’ve brought your tea.” Please also look at my Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. for further info on what I'm willing to do and not willing to do! StainedCrimson
If you're still looking for someone, I'd be willing to try this. Though I'm not used to being an emotional character, I can give it a try with a new character I have.
