My Realm Of Dreams

I hope you enjoy this poem. I wrote it after a lucid dream I had one night. Please let me know what you think.....okay?

There is a place I often go,

Where moonlight shines and flowers glow,

This dream realm appears when I drift to sleep,

Where dragons dwell in castles keep,

Where wolves howl in the distance as a great oak is guarded by a spider,

Where lanterns glow from a foxes fire as a nine tail carries a rider,

The rider is me of course don't you see,

I'm carried to a temple that overlooks the sea,

There is one special place where I always go,

A place where I find him near the flowers that glow,

I always come back to him in my realm of dreams,

A place where nothing is ever what it seems,

I wish these moments didn't have to go away,

Letting sleep carry me and to always stay,

I know that will never be and it is a mistake,

Come morning light without fail I always will awake....
