Coffee-Tastic
Name: Yutaka Todo Age: 19 Height: 6ft 3in Eyes: Light Violet Hair: Black, short and curly. His hair usually covers over his eyes to the point where people can't look him in the eyes. Sexuality: Demisexual Superpower: Immunity Personality: Yutaka is quiet and very often, always to himself. Because of his superpower, which he absolutely hates, he often isn't very confident and has low self esteem... He didn't have friends before in his previous school and isn't planning on making it his goal to make new friends in the new school. He's never had a real connection to anyone, not even his parents, so when he finds something he likes and enjoys, he can be very possessive over it, an example being a stray dog he found. Yutaka brought it food and played with it for a few weeks until it followed him home. He took it in and when he saw his mother try to kick it out of the house, he threatened her for treating the dog badly and was in no way planning on making any of his violent threats a mere bluff. Bio: As early as he could remember, his parents have always had high expectations of him and his superpower, wanting him to be as great as they were. When it was revealed that his power is only to be immune to all other powers, they were disappointed and treated him like an outcast in his own home. Yutaka grew into depression from that alone, but at school, he was taunted for basically not having a power at all. Feeling so worthless no matter what kinds of encouragement teachers had to offer him, he just never found it easy to connect with others or like himself at all. His school performance remained minimum passing or below average, making it hard to pass each grade. On his last year of school, his parents took him out of the zone school and took him to a whole new place, the house was bigger and the area was nicer, he had to admit. The unfamiliar setting he found quite exciting, but he still hadn't changed on the inside. Likes: Animals, is dog named Pucchin, cooking, crafts, being alone, writing stories and sleeping Dislikes: Telling people his power, being teased, people telling him to cheer up, his parents and noisy people Extras: - His mother's superpower is telepathy and his father can control and create fire - His superpower is actually considered one of the strongest ones in existence - Yutaka has been described to smell like sugar and tea - He doesn't like his body, even though his build is very desirable. He covers up too much for that to be noticed however. - He has always been impotent and believes he will always be for all he cares Pucchin (male, 3 years old): Mourning routine has never changed for years for Yutaka, he never found a reason to change it. There were few times when it did, but it was never significant. Wake up... Wash face... Avoid looking in the mirror until you have to... The young man was always very slow in the morning wake, always wanting his parents to leave for work before coming out of his room at all. A silent house was better than a house with two enemies in it for sure, and now, apart from the sound of Pucchin's unclipped claws on the floor while following behind him, it was pure silent, almost in an ominous way. The comfort of silence and his loving pet dog was practically the only thing that helped him stay out of bed for another hour, if he got in trouble for it, so be it. He had already got so used to hearing his mother and father's hissing voice and had their annoyed gaze imprinted in the back of his eyes, what harm could hearing it more so? Making himself eggs and sausage, he sat at the glass table with Pucchin hopping on the seat right over from him as if he was a real person. Yutaka smiled a little, "Mom says dog's don't belong at the table," he muttered, taking a bite of his eggs... If he had the power to be able to read the minds, he'd be able to hear what his only friend had to say to him. For now, all he could understand from his whining was that Pucchin wanted some of his breakfast. Weak to hearing the noise and his begging, Yutaka took one of the sausages and handed it over to the mutt, who took it and ate it in one single bite, licking his lips afterwards. Petting his head, he chuckled, "No more, bud. You need to save your appetite for your own breakfast." Pucchin of course whined, but Yutaka continued on eating. Today he'd be off to his new school... It might have been nice to get the sense of starting over for anyone else, but this wasn't the first day. It was three months in and he'd have to deal with having new people bother him. Maybe worse that before for all he knew. As soon as people got wind of him having this dull superpower, Yutaka knew what happens afterwards. He never needed anyone else to tell him that he was useless. His parents already did enough and then he gave himself the final blows when it came to that. Hearing others comment about it never made it better, positive or not, because he knew that this power meant absolutely nothing. In the school uniform, he had left the house, bidding Pucchin goodbye as he made his way to the school, walking. He could take the bus, but he liked being able to be by himself and walking was healthy. But because of that, he ended up coming to school ten minutes late. The empty halls didn't make him nervous at all like it would to others coming into a new class in a new school. The setting here was a school. Nothing special about that. And this place was probably where bad things would happen, so he wasn't looking forward to being around in the halls much more than was necessary. Entering the classroom, the teacher stopped his instructions and looked over at him, "The new student... Do you think its a good start of the new school to show up late?" he scolded, crossing his arms. Yutaka shook his head, "No. I apologize." "Sigh...Well," clearing his throat, the teacher faced the class, "Give a quick introduction and then find a seat, we already started the lesson." Introductions usually included the name and what their power was, but all he gave was a lifeless: "Todo Yutaka. Please take care of me." And then he lugged himself to find a seat, sitting near the back of the room where there was a chair, avoiding the eye contact of all the other students, who were probably trying to get a better look at his face, but wouldn't because of his hair. The desk he went to was chipped and the chair was clearly not even on the floor and would wobble, but he took it anyways, preferring this one to any other chair he didn't deserve to have. Cyncii
Name: Aiko Isobe Age: 19 Height: 6'0'' Eyes: Left is blue, right is a pale red Hair: Blonde Sexuality: Pansexual Superpower: Telepathy Personality: Aiko seems to be on mostly everyone's good side, considering he is able to delve into their memories and learn each individual's likes and dislikes. He is typically very affectionate and 'friendly,' enough so that he'll eagerly sleep with someone, anyone, no matter who they are and if they are willing. However, with how promiscuous he is, Aiko in turn does not want to settle with any one person. Unless, of course, they pique his interest that much and pulls his attention away from everyone else. As much as he may seem like it through the way he acts, he is not loud - in fact, he prefers to be more on the quiet side and go by things more subtly. He prides himself by knowing how to please everyone, digging deep into their minds to bring their desires to the surface. His level of patience is incredibly high and is persistent to the point where it may get frustrating to others. As long as Aiko is able to get what he wants in the end, it does not matter to how far he has to go. If there is no end in sight, it only means that his determination is increased tenfold. Bio: To put it simply, Aiko was born with a sliver spoon in his mouth. He was spoiled when he was little, spoiled more than his older siblings due to his powers being 'stronger' than theirs and his strange, alluring eyes adding a little extra to his favorableness. The thing was that, when he grew older, his parents in a sense ignored him. Sure, they loved him, they really did, but they weren't around much to look after him and keep him in check. To deal with this new-found loneliness, he desperately searched for friends, going so far as to sleep around with whoever he could to get his mind off of his home life. He became a social butterfly, but despite his outward defiance towards settling down, he desires to find someone he can grow to love and care for. Likes: People being honest to him, being straightforward, hugs/cuddling, fruit, sugary food, flowers and nearly every kind of animal. Dislikes: Settling down, 'empty-headed' people, crowded areas, giving up and being told 'no.' Extras: ~ He automatically considers anyone whose minds he cannot read to be dolts with no brain. Strangely enough, however, he still tries to pursue them. ~ His mother's power is clairvoyance and his father is capable of telekinesis. ~ The reason behind hating crowds is due to the fact that he will unintentionally read the minds and thoughts of large numbers of people at once if they are present and there isn't a thing he can do about it. It confuses him - nearly drives him to the point of insanity - and makes him unable to utilize his powers correctly. ~ For unknown reasons and at seemingly random times, his red eye will glow. Typically, Aiko's day would go by slowly, full of the same old people and their predictable, admittedly bland personalities. Still, the blonde weaves his way into conversations or someone else's bed in hopes of finding something that interests him. So far, he has found none of this. As he was capable of delving into the minds of others and uncovering their deepest, darkest secrets, it in a way 'ruined the fun' for him. It wasn't like he could help it, though, since thoughts and memories can come flooding into him even when he didn't want it. It drove him nuts. Today, it seemed to be no different. As school began, Aiko sat in the back near but not right by the windows wondering when it would end. He closed his eyes and leaned back, struggling to cross his legs under the desk but succeeding nonetheless. Stretching out his arms onto its surface, he tried listening to the beginning of his teacher's lesson but his words were mostly drowned out by the thoughts of his fellow students. Why the hell did he need to know what they ate for breakfast, who they kissed and fucked the previous nights? Unless they were good friends of his or potential interests - none of these kids were.. in this room, at least - he didn't care. Aiko managed to force the thoughts from snaking their way into his head right as he noticed an unfamiliar face standing at the front of the classroom. A new student? He didn't hold much hope for this one; he was certain this one would be as predictable as the rest. Then came the name.. Yukata, huh? The new kid didn't state his powers, adding to the blonde's budding curiosity. If Yukata wasn't going to reveal them, Aiko was confident he could reveal them himself. The thing is, once Yukata sat down and Aiko tried to 'read' him, tried as hard as he could, he failed.. horribly. Aiko's brows furrowed, confused and frustrated at his failure. He knew his powers didn't fail to work for no reason, so it must have been Yukata. Maybe it was his power - the power of being a brainless idiot. He couldn't think of any other reason. There wasn't a single person who could resist his telepathy except for complete dolts. He brooded over the subject of Yukata for what seemed to be the entire class, nails silently clawing at the desk in pure irritation. Aiko stared at the clock with intensity, barely keeping himself from shooting out of his desk right as the bell rang. It was time to be upfront and blunt with this kid - he hoped to get at least a half-answer from him. Aiko moved towards the roughed-up desk, a slight sway in his step. His fingers grazed the edge of Yukata's desk then moved up to his own hair, brushing his bangs out of his face and revealing more of his strange, red right eye as a result. "What's the big deal? I can't read you at all," he spoke, a hint of frustration in his tone. The blonde didn't care to explain what he meant by 'reading' him, apparently expecting Yukata to catch on. Coffee-Tastic
The class seemed to be alright, but he only figured that much since he was in the back and if any students were trying to break their neck to look at him here, the teacher would call them out. But he did notice one of the boys that seemed very aggravated for some reason, a reason that not even he could understand because he hasn't even spoken with a single person yet. But it could go on his record: making an enemy without saying more than a few words during the entirely of the lesson. Impressive or sad? Depressingly impressive? He didn't care all too much, putting most of his focus to the teacher as he took down notes. Some bit of himself was in his head like always, wondering how well the rest of the day would go. How things would be in a week. How much he'd be half alive by the end of the year... At one point, he just couldn't pay attention anymore. He closed his notebook and from his backpack, took out a different one. The notepad was quite flimsy, preferring tougher ones to match hi, but he liked how smooth the paper was, so he decided to use it anyways. In this book, Yutaka jut wrote down scribbles of interesting ideas, he wrote freely of whatever words came to his mind, he'd draw little doodles in them of animals from time to time... He liked this book a lot and it was one of the many things he would protect and defend no matter what.Because of his protection over it, he made sure to watch the time of the end of the class to be sure he put the personal book away, just in case someone came over. This time being no different. As he thought. Someone would. As he guessed... He would. That blond over there that looked so irritated during the whole class, who he had just noticed had two different colored eyes, came zooming over to him, giving him a frustrated tone of someone he of course wouldn't understand. Reading? Shit. Did he have telepathy just like his mom? That was the only thing he could come up with when the other boy mentioned being unable to read him. His mother couldn't get in his head to and would often complain and tell him directly about how much she disliked his "disability", as she would put it. Just like with this kid, it just ticked him off. Yutaka could do him the favor and tell him why he couldn't read from him... but when he looked, other kids were already leaving the classroom, seemingly far more disinterested in him than the blond... If this other boy had a posse with him, he would have just given up already and told them his power. This was just one person. And if he didn't have to reveal to anyone what his power was, then hell no, he would not reveal it. Yutaka looked up a at the blond, his eyes completely shielded by his bangs, "I'm not a book. Sorry I had to be the one to let you know," he slipped his other notebook, the one with academic notes inside, the boy zipped up his bag and stood up from his chair, "I don't want to be late for my next class." He muttered, putting his bag over one of his shoulders as he walked past the blond coldly. He wasn't going to be having anything forced out of him at all. For once... he felt luck that nobody cared except for one person so far. In so many versions in his head, even his time after the first class would not be pleasant. He was glad he was wrong. Cyncii
Aiko frowned ever so slightly, frozen in place for a second as Yutaka walked past him. Damn, was he cold.. no matter. He would get what he wanted out of this kid, no matter how long it would take. Snapping out of it, the blonde stepped back towards his desk to pick up his bag and hurried after his fellow student. "If you are a book, you don't have anything written in you," Aiko murmured, trailing behind Yutaka. So far they were traveling down the same path, so perhaps they would share another class or two. Or more, he wouldn't know. "I'm Aiko, by the way. Isobe Aiko. Not that you would really care to know, but in case you do, then there you go," he resumed speaking in a more than casual tone, contrasting with the frustrating one from only a minute ago. "If you can tell me what your power is, I might stop thinking it's being brainless." Maybe he could pester this guy until he knew how he resisted his telepathy.. until then, he wasn't thinking of leaving him alone. Yutaka seemed the loner type, but then again, he was new to the school - Aiko thought he may be able to remedy this. "Don't be embarrassed to tell me, either. It certainly isn't the first time I've come across someone like you," the blonde added before walking at a faster pace, soon becoming ahead of Yutaka. With a slight hum, Aiko turned into a room, his next class. Of course, he could find out in a couple seconds if the new kid shared more than just one class, so he didn't feel the need to look back. He sat down in his usual spot for the majority of his classes - at a desk in the back, a bit near the window. Again, no one important to him was in here. It upset him, the fact that his good friends were only in one of his classes. He could talk to the people here, sure, but it wouldn't be nearly as good of a conversation. Whatever.. to kill some time, Aiko pulled out a barely-used notebook and began to absentmindedly scribble little animals around the notes taken in his previous class. Coffee-Tastic
If you were a book, you wouldn't have anything written in you. He found that line to be laughable, but of course didn't even do as much as turn his smile upside down at all. If he was readable, it would just be another sob story that nobody would pick up. He walked on ahead, not facing Akio nor giving him any indication that he was even listening in the first place. None of it was necessary because he wasn't looking to make friends. Akio did seem to be more normal after dropping his annoyed tone, but that didn't change the fact he was not interested in becoming buddies with the blond. He wasn't going to be his friend, he wasn't going to find out his power, he wasn't going to get any kind of satisfaction from trying to befriend him. Yutaka simply had no interest. He stopped walking seeing the other walk on ahead suddenly, watching him until he was out of sight in another classroom. Taking a piece of paper out of his pocket with his schedule, he looked at the room he was supposed to be in and then looked up at the room number of the one Aiko went into. Sure enough, he was supposed to be in here. Sighing, he stuffed the wrinkled paper back in his pocket and he walked in the opposite way towards the bathrooms. Yutaka didn't want to be around that guy for another whole period, so to give himself some quiet time, he'd cut this class, which wasn't a new habit he took up. In fact, he's been cutting classes ever since middle school, though he'd cut classes for entirely different reasons. Now, he was just avoiding someone who was starting to be annoying and he just wanted some time alone to gather his thoughts on this new school and such. Before he was cutting classes to avoid getting beat up and mocked. He'd cut classes so he could be alone to wallow in his grim self suffering. He'd make sure he'd be present for his next class, science class, and sure enough when the bell rang, he left his lonely stall and walked off to find the next room. Being the first to arrive, he sat in the far back and looked around the room to get a feel of this new class. When other students started coming in, he was not happy to notice that the tables were meant for small groups. It seemed he should have skipped this class instead. He'd be damned if Aiko had this class too. "Woa! Who are you??" A voice came from the side, but just like the blond, he ignored this student too. After a short silence, that student came closer, sitting beside him and leaning right up to him, "Eh? You didn't hear me? You're that new kid, yea?" His classmate laughed and shoved him roughly, but playfully, "My name is Gin. Nice to meet you!" "I'd like to be alone." He said, still refusing to spare Gin a look. Yutaka didn't want to give people attention, always hoping they'd just loose interest. He never did know how ignoring people like this was a good reason why he never got on anyone's good side. "Alone? No thanks. You seem fun to mess with. I'll partner with you today." Gin breached the other's space again, but possibly worse this time. He ruffled up Yutaka's hair, making him frown. "Hey, and how about you clip up your hair? Or cut it? I can't even see the other half of your face!" Gin laughed again, but his laugh stopped when he saw the kind of eyes that were looking at him once he was able to see his face. The purple was a soft color, but they seemed so cold and dangerous, Gin dropped his smile and pulled his hand away quickly. Yutaka looked foreword again, fixing his hair a little and slouching in his chair as he heard Gin move back to his original seat, far away from him... He said he wanted to be alone. He didn't care if that meant not having a partner in this science class.
Cyncii
Aiko waited until the bell rang to look up from his notebook, closing it and resting his chin on his palm. As the teacher took attendance, he began to take notice of something strange.. there was a single empty seat in the classroom. When the teacher asked if the person was there, stating their name in the process, Aiko narrowed his eyes. He wanted to speak up and let the teacher know where the missing student was, but he decided against it. Aiko was upset, confused.. did Yutaka skip class because of him? He wasn't that annoying, was he? The blonde knew he could be overly persistent, but he didn't realize it could go that far.. in all honesty, he felt bad despite not having done much to deserve the guilt he was beginning to feel. He had a hard time concentrating on the lesson, mostly due to Yutaka's behavior.. to force the distracting thoughts out of his head, Aiko moved to a completely different distraction - that of continuing his doodles. It was the one thing that could help cut out the thoughts spilling into his head, his own thoughts and the thoughts of his fellow students. However, doing so meant that he couldn't easily focus and learn in school. In fact, when it was time to leave, he was the last one out. Next was his science class. He didn't really like it, but he had to pull through and he'd barely done so for years. It had just gotten interesting, however, when he rushed into the classroom and spotted the one person in the far back, all to himself. Aiko's brows furrowed for a moment, but then he began to step towards the desk. "Hey, he said he wants to be alone," a girl spoke quietly to Aiko, but the blonde promptly ignored her and pulled out a chair, sitting beside Yutaka. At first his eyes appeared to be glued to the table, but they eventually moved up to scan through the students in the front of the class. What's he doing? I told him that the kid doesn't want to be bothered. Jeez.. he always tries to befriend the weird ones. But he's weird, so it makes sense. You do you, man.. good fucking luck. More and more of these thoughts poured into his head and he tried, tried to shove them away. As much as he loved messing with his powers, he would rather not have them.. they were more a curse than a gift. Hopefully, he could fix this by thinking about Yutaka instead. And so, Aiko turned his head a little so that he could look at him. Still, he had no luck trying to dig into his head. "Hey, um. Sorry about that," Aiko murmured, absentmindedly rubbing the fingers of one hand with the thumb of another.
Coffee-Tastic
Being partner-less wasn't even a problem for him, not last year. He'd find that his partners would mostly let him do all of the work, or they'd be the one to do all of the work, while he contributed very little amounts to the assignment. It usually depended if his partner was a chatty idiot or a studious tool. If he worked alone, he'd do what he had to do to get a decent grade, probably at a slow pace if the work involved using complicated formulas instead of actual scientific tests, which were a lot easier for him to do. Whenever he had to do a hands on activity, he wanted nothing more but to be back at home, working on his own projects. Yutaka liked to experiment with cooking all the time, he found sewing relaxing, making collages exercised his mind and writing passed the time... And as soon as he saw that kid with two eye colors, he wished he skipped school instead of just one class. Gin was annoying enough of an experience, but at least he backed off. Akio looked like type type of small dog to never back off from something he should until he got bitten hard. He knew that was correct because not even his every day cold, bitter behavior had him go away. It, at least, made him walk ahead and give him a chance to avoid him in the next class. But he couldn't really avoid him forever. He'd just like it if he could be rude enough to make him dislike him, the. He wouldn't want to be near him at all. By the sound of it, Akio must have been apologizing for bothering him. How was it that he kept saying things he could laugh about? He must be a real idiot. He didn't face the blond, but he spoke to him very clearly and with his full displeasure. "If you were sorry, you would have stayed away and left me alone." He bluntly put it, because that's exactly true, "You don't ever have to apologize to anyone as long as you don't do it to them again. So now I'd appreciate it if you left me alone. You're going to give me a headache."
Cyncii
"Mm," Aiko murmured, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms, warming his hands in the process. This guy sure was interesting.. all the more reason to refuse to leave him alone. If he got the information he wanted and Yutaka was still set on being stubborn when it came to socialization, the blonde supposed he would back off. But not now. "Where am I supposed to go? These guys don't like me. They might not say it, but I can hear them. Their thoughts buzzing in my head give me headaches worse than I'll ever give you," he spoke with a smile. "But I'm not saying you should suck it up and deal with me talking to you. You can move somewhere else, that's fine, but I'm not gonna budge an inch." Aiko let out a small sigh, subconsciously rubbing his right eye. The stupid thing always hurt whenever the thoughts were too much to handle.. he could never understand why. Sometimes, there would be blood - in that case, he would typically rush to the nurse's office. But this time, it was just a small sting, and that he could handle. Aiko hummed softly, pulling out the notebook from earlier. He flipped to a blank page, proceeding to take a pencil. The blonde started to sketch again, this time drawing a semi-realistic Irish setter. He probably wouldn't finish it during this class and he probably wouldn't finish it at all, but it didn't matter. Unfinished drawings were completely fine, as he had plenty of those where that came from. This probably wasn't the best he'd done, either, so he could imagine tearing it out after school and throwing it away, maybe burning it in the fireplace. He reminded himself - it was just something to pass the time, not something he should commit to.
Coffee-Tastic
Yutaka narrowed his eyes slightly under his shielding bangs. Was he actually supposed to care about this other boy when he mentioned getting headaches as well? He didn't. His mother has the same power and often he'd see her clutching her head after a long day, or her nose would just start bleeding. If he was born with the ability to read the minds of others, he just has to just suck it up and deal with the consequences that it comes with. At least he had a goddamn power that could be useful. If he could read minds, he could pass any test, right? He can know how to make everyone around him happy, and if he didn't want to do it that way, then he could use their thoughts against them. If these classmates didn't like him, then he wasn't using his power to the best of his ability. It frustrated him to see people with decent powers not use it advantageously. For someone with a useless power like him self, he used to fawn over the abilities he could never possess. He'd think of how he would use someone else's power all the time to make his life better. What made him more frustrated than that was Akio telling him that he could just leave if he wanted to be alone. Who exactly do you think was here first? By now, pairs and groups were made and there was no other place he could sit, this being the table farthest from others and in the back, where he liked it. His eyes looked over at the blond, getting a glance at him take out a notebook. Yutaka figured that if he didn't respond, Akio's mouth would stay shut... He supposed if that was the case, he could just sit there. It was better than having someone else noisy taking his place. When he had come into this room, he thought that they'd be doing some kind of science stuff, but as it just turns out, the teacher made a student pass out a worksheet for everyone to do. A worksheet wasn't too bad either, and thankfully none of it involved numbers, so he took out a black pen to start doing the assignment. In doing the boring work, he did notice that the humming Akio was in his own personal notebook rather than the classwork. From what he could tell from the movements of his pencil, he wasn't writing, but drawing. He didn't mind that, it kept the blond silent enough, though the humming was a bit distracting. Yutaka didn't say anything about it though. In their little corner, he was glad to have gone through the whole class without other words having to be exchanged through either of them. To say in the least, he pretty much forgot he was even there and when the bell rang, he leaned back from his incomplete worksheet and saw the blond there, still silent. It was then that he actually was able to see what he was drawing~ it was a dog! And because he loved animals more than human beings, he was easily able to identify many things, the dog on the page being an Irish Setter. The drawing looked good too. It nearly made him say something about it, but instead of saying anything, he awkwardly just stared at Akio when he should be getting up to turn in his work. Cyncii
As soon as the bell rang, the blonde appeared to abruptly snap out of what seemed to be a trance. He had been too focused on the drawing to prepare for the end of class, let alone take notice of the blank worksheet before him. Aiko stared down at the desk with furrowed brows, leaning back a little in his chair to give a mental critique to the drawing before him. He took notice of a couple lines that weren't in the 'right place' and convinced himself that the shading wasn't right in several places. The smallest things set him off when it came to his artwork, and this was no different. To the fireplace it would go, Aiko thought. However, before he was about to get out of his seat, he noticed the boy sitting next to him the whole class was staring at him. Normally, he would be able to figure out what they were thinking and base the words coming out of his mouth from it. But with this, there was nothing. Was Yutaka interested in his drawing, or was he harshly criticizing it in his head? Aiko had no clue and it made him distressed, so much so that he swiftly closed the notebook and stood up, taking the worksheet with him. If he were allowed to, he would have to turn this in late, but he didn't mind. He could've paid attention to the teacher in the first place, but that meant more headaches. The blonde did notice that sitting next to Yutaka didn't cause him pain and he thought that could be a factor in how much he gravitated towards the new student. He would've liked to sit there and wonder just what it was that interested him, but he had a class to get to. Aiko began to walk towards the entrance of the classroom, though he did take one glance back at Yutaka to 'check' on him. It was brief, however, and he soon left the room. He wondered if Yutaka would end up sharing all his classes, but doubted it as it was highly unlikely. The blonde couldn't say it was impossible, though. History class was next, at least he thought. Aiko, in a scatterbrained state of mind would often mix them up and have him end up going to the wrong room and having to show up tardy to his actual class. But thank goodness, the blonde managed not to screw anything up. This was his favorite class, too - not from the subject itself but the people in the room. Well, person. His closest friend, a shapeshifter named Yuma, waited for him every day near the back of the classroom. Usually, at the beginning of class, it wasn't in his true form but that of a small dog or cat. This time, it was a cat, a Japanese Bobtail with a pretty tortoiseshell fur coat. "Today's been a loooong day so far~" Aiko spoke in a sigh, slumping down in the seat where Yuma perched near the edge of the desk. The blonde reached out a hand to pet the cat behind his ears, to which he responded with a soft purr. "Somethin' up with you? Not often I see 'ya so distressed," Yuma asked, appearing to speak without moving his mouth. Aiko groaned lightly in response, refusing to answer. His friend's ears moved back slightly, pulling away from the blonde's touch and nipping at one of his fingers. Aiko huffed and pouted, pulling his hand away and crossing his arms. Coffee-Tastic
His eyes followed Akio as he got up and left him, and he didn't need to think twice about it, but it he was already guassing that his inability to read his mind put him off in the weirdest way since he had always been able to listen in on what another person was thinking in their minds. His mother was the same, she was very worried about not being able to read him when he was a young toddler. At first, she was worried and tried to relieve herself by saying his silence must be a sign that his power would be great. But then she had told him "A baby is supposed to be a gift. Why am I so disappointed then, Yutaka? Why couldn't you have been great like mommy and daddy?" Yutaka rolled his eyes just from thinking about his mother... But the point is, she was annoyed she couldn't ever read him. Today, he's glad he could always remind her that she can't use her awesome power against him and that she'll never be able to read his mind. It made him feel like he always had the upper hand against her. Even if he only merely stared at her, she'd feel threatened, she couldn't tell if he was thinking about homework, a television show or doing something bad to her. Yutaka wouldn't hurt anyone without a reason, but hey, she didn't know that. His father was the only one who could put up any defense against him in the long run, but it was his height and strength, not his fire abilities. Those wouldn't work on him either. After handing in the sheet, he turned and left as the last student. He took his time between classes since there wasn't ever any rush he needed to fulfill, walking at a snails pace. On his way to the next class, History, he noticed Gin and his buddies talking. As soon as Gin looked at him, his smile dropped and he said a few words to his friends before walking ahead with them. Their heads turned towards Yutaka and then back, their shoulders pinching with their cackles. In a way, he brought this on himself. Instead of being friendly with Gin or telling him to please leave him alone, he had to give him his nasty glare. And now it might be spread around that the new kid was a total antisocial prick. But that wasn't even too stray from the truth... He kind of was an antisocial prick when he was bothered by others. Yutaka got to the classroom and as soon as he went through the door, he looked around to see where he could sit. The back seats... Taken. And not only that, he saw Akio again. With a cat. He felt instantly drawn to the cat, but the repellant was the blond. Yutaka took a deep breath and turned around to leave, giving up entirely. "Ah. Excuse me, where are you going?" The teacher said, crossing their arms. Stopping, he looked back to her and muttered, retreating again, "Its the wrong class..." "You're the new student, boy," he followed him and dragged him back into the classroom, "I was told I'd be getting a new student this period so yeah. This is your class. Take a seat right over there..." She then pointed to a desk at the front, "And don't lie to me again Mister. You will soon be aware that I don't tolerate liars..." Her power was to be able to tell if someone was lying to them, so it even weirded her out that she wasn't able to tell that Yutaka was lying. If she didn't know previously that he'd be here this period, she would have actually thought this was not his correct class. She quickly realized that the power he had was immunity, or at least something close to it, because nobody was ever able to be exceptions to her power. A power like his was extremely rare. "Interesting ability you have, boy. Interesting, but if you lie to me again, you're going to be in big trouble. Understood?" "... Yes ma'am." Yutaka wasn't at all happy to be forced to sit in the front, but more than that, he didn't like her mentioning any sort of comment about his ability. He hated her for that. He went to the desk normally and sat down in the front row as he was ordered to, facing foreward, but looking to the side in distaste with his head lowering in a slump. "Thank you... Now, everyone, time to take out your books!" The teacher announced.
