Okay, so I've recently had this new idea for an RP and I wanted to give it a try here.

 

Plot:

 

The basic setting is on our modern-day Earth, in Japan. Everything would be basically the same, except there is one major difference. The gods that people hear about in myths and legends (e.g. Zeus, Amaterasu etc.) do in fact exist. However, rather than existing on the tops of mountains, or in clouds, they exist in a sub-dimension. This sub-dimension has many different names in many different languages, but for the purposes of the RP, it is called 'The Imperium'. The rules of the Imperium is that, normally, no mortal can enter it. However gods can freely traverse between the 2 realms.

The impact of this is actually relatively minor in modern-day Earth. Miracles do still happen, but are scientifically explained and overall, people have blocked out the belief that gods exist. There are quite a few cults though that still fervently worship these gods.

 

Anyway, your character (Character A) would be just a normal person. Like most other people, he doesn't really believe in gods. Somehow (your choice as to how), your character gets stuck maintaining an old shinto shrine. It's a completely normal day, when suddenly a man falls from the sky. This is my character (Character B).

B is also a mortal like A, but he wasn't always like that. B used to actually be the head God of Love Cupid. For some reason, Cupid has been kicked out of the Imperium and falls to Earth, becoming a mortal and losing most all of his powers. So obviously B would want to get back to his home and get back his powers and he ropes in A to help him, thinking he's a priest or something.

 

The plot would go from there.

So, yeah. Normal house-rules apply to this RP as apply to all other RPs I do. Namely:

• Experienced role-player who doesn't only play one role all the time and is open to experimentation.
  
• Someone who can give me good meaty paragraphs when they post and who will take an active role with me in crafting the story, rather than always passively accepting what my character does (I want to make this story with someone, though I can understand if not every paragraph is detailed or that they always take an active role).
  
• Someone who likes the foreplay, dirty-talk, teasing and fluff just as much as they like the raunchy, hardcore sex and doesn't push for sex early-on.
  
• Someone open to experimentation, both in terms of sexual roles and methods. I'm basically open to anything and everything, so just run it by me if you want to do something really kinky later in the story, or indeed, if I'm going outside your comfort zone.

• Someone who can post semi-regularly (like 1-2 times a day or 5 times a week, whatever fits).
  
• I do have others, but these are the most important ones and the other I have are more preferences than rules.
  

 

If I haven't scared you off yet, then good.

So, in my head, this story is quite fluffy and almost rom-com at the start. Cupid would have no idea how the current Japanese society would operate and he would do very random things (e.g. walking around naked in public because he is not used to wearing clothes, has no idea how phones work, would try and randomly seduce people and get slapped etc.). Character A would help Cupid (for what reason we can decide together). However, again, I do not want my RP partner to simply wilt into my Character's arms and declare their everlasting love. This is a boring set-up and while there are places it can go, this RP is not built for that sort of development.

Don't worry though, I do plan for there to be other elements to the plot. There will be mystery, fighting, intrigue and more as the plot develops from my side. Of course, your side would have their own story to tell and that would be interesting too.

 

In terms of sexual roles, I would think Cupid is versatile and super kinky. In the long term, I would prefer someone who is open to reversible couples (as this is a dynamic I love and see little of) and plenty of other romantic things other than straight sex. So yeah, sekes are prefered, but obviously semes and ukes too. Just keep in mind I don't want to take one look at your personality and instantly be able to say 'that's a uke' or 'that's a seme'. Stereotypes = No!
