Cinnamon-lover
Ok, so recently I posted about been rejected and stuff. At the time it really hurt, but these last two days have been much worse. 3 weeks ago I adopted a litte Maltese puppy. He was 2 months old and seemed to be healthy. I had the happiest weeks of my entire life, but yesterday it all burnt down. He wasn't looking all that good, so we went to the vet. The vet said we hadn't noticed this before, but he was already ill, right from the start. There was no way of us knowing this, since his behaviour was normal. A few hours ago he passed away. I don't even care about my failed love life, the feeling of having my puppy, my baby die, I believe it's something that won't go away easily. I just really wanted to talk about it, because nobody around here seems to care that much. Thanks for reading, I guess, and please feel free to talk about things that are getting you down. PS: last post I didn't answer, but if you see this, I hope your grandfather is doing ok, and I hope you're not feeling so bad about complicated friendships no more... Blue Moon.
Losing a pet really hurts. It hurts like losing a friend, or even a family member. I understand your pain, I lost my cat a few years back because some asshole poisoned it. This happened 7 years ago. I can't say that I'll ever completely forget about it but it does get better. There will be a time in the future when you'll think of your puppy and you'll remember the happy moments you lived together and won't feel pain. Till then, stay strong. If you need to talk to someone please know that I'm here, drop me a message.
Guest Robuta
@Cinnamon-lover I am sorry ... I completely understand the feeling of losing and then missing the baby that only you look after. Ever since my rats died one after another (they don't live long) I was missing them so much, especially cos I had set up a routine with them... It had been more than a year but sometimes I still thinking about taking some of my fruits to the cage that isn't there anymore... Stay strong, I am not saying you will forget about it, but time will make your pain better. It is fine even if you think about it and feel sad 24h/7 for now, this the time to be sad and to feel down so that it'll feel "better" later...
