There are problems with the current gallery and I'm unable to add new categories or basically do any admin work in it. I checked and the soft is unsupported. Maybe the pics are too big or there is a problem with their format, try cropping one using the Snipping Tool in Windows or open it in Paint and save it again to see if the error still occurs.
