Welcome to my humble collection of plots and characters - the loves of my life.

 

There are a few facts that you might want to know before continuing your read.

 

i, I only play as a SEME, currently in search of UKE's to collaborate with.

 

ii, I'm a rather meticulous person who is keen on writing 700-1500 WORDS per post. Of course, I can manage with short, five-line post RP; however, it's quite rare for me to do so. Consequently, for I prefer long paragraphs, it might take me awhile to reply.

 

iii, Last but not least, interaction during RP. I think that we have all read this a lot from threads; however, it doesn't harm anyone if I mention it again, right? During our RP (if I have the pleasure to write with you), if you are dissatisfied by anything or have ideas that you want to share, all constructive criticism and suggestions are tremendously welcomed.

 

iv, I can do both third person and first person point of view.

[td]Many have queried me about my likes and dislikes in RP. (This post will be updated quite often)

 

So, for my preference,

 

modern setting is my forte (it is everyone's forte I suppose). However, I can work with Victorian Era setting just fine, a bit rusty compared to the aforementioned.

 

There is not a specific type of UKEs that can make my heart pound like drum roll. If I have to describe a particular one, my bias, I'd say he has a soft side in him. Not the womanly softness. For example, your character can be a strong, unyielding and dauntless warrior. Nevertheless, at the end of the day, after all the violence and bloodshed, he went home, doffed his armor to be a normal man, revealing his weakness to his significant other.

 

Beside these things, I also look forward to some character developments during the RPs. Where's the fun if all are stagnant?

 

Symbolization, implication and metaphor give the stories depth so I am rather keen on them. Just notify you a bit if we do RP together in the future.

 

For my distaste,

 

I absolutely abhor those types of extremely vulnerable, gullible, teary 24/7 ukes, in short, undercover girlish girls pretending to be UKEs.

 

Mary Sue... I really do hope your character is not one, and covet that the third person in a love triangle is definitely not one unless you hate MC that much and want YC to end up with the perfect third wheel. In that case, tell me so that I can adjust MC to fit your preference.

 

I'd like to avoid making MC an abusive man. Being rough is one thing but don't put me in scenarios such as MC is a kidnapper who drugged YC and held him captive. MC would beat the living hell out of YC and somehow, by the miracle of Stockholm Syndrome, praise the Lord (!!!), YC fell in love with MC. This is just a random example.

In a nutshell, MC will NOT physically hurt, harm, hit, rape, sell, eat, reap, etc. YC. It's fine if MC is a killer, assassin, kidnapper, blackmailer, framer, etc. As long as his victim is not YC. But if you have ideas that are related to this, just PM me since it's a bit complicated.

o.n.e - WE OF YESTERDAY

Koichi Ueda (28) is a single father whose feelings still linger on a distant, nostalgic love he once shared with the beautiful, artistic Takumi (27). Ten years ago, the two had met at a bus station, both of them young, carefree and reckless. On that day, stood next to Koichi was a 17-year-old heartbroken boy in search of a rebound, comfort. Coincidences after coincidences, they found themselves in a state of falling in love without knowing how brutal the landing would be since, after all, everyone has to grow up, obstacles bound to happen to test us. Under the pressure, the responsibilities, they broke and there came the unwanted child of Koichi's sister. At one point, a year later, Takumi had planned for their reunion; however, upon the appearance of the child, he gave up his attempt and decided to cut all ties with Koichi. It was not until one rainy day when Koichi ran inside a coffee shop to shelter from the rain did they meet again. And Takumi was singing the same song.

What are you doing? What are you thinking? Are you happy?

 

These questions are the ones that keep haunting from day to day until my skull cracks and my grey matters stream down. It has been ten years since the time I could still recall his face in my mind with every single details from his eyelashes to the little beauty mark below the corner of his left eye. On humid days such as today, in a fuzzy haze, I try in vain to redraw his features. His limpid laughter echoes at the back of my head.

 

Suddenly, I see the viridescent sky. A breeze of wind blew by, kissing on one’s skin with frostbite. A long metal chair was laid next to a tall sign. Numbers of buses imprinted on the blue background was covered in scratches, a work of times and natural forces. The starting locations and the destinations did not escape the same fate. It is unbelievable that I’m remembering all this at the moment. Right at this bus stop, I had met him for the first time in my life. However, this meeting did not leave any impacts on me, or maybe either of us. Now, in retrospect, I find a bittersweet taste melting in my mouth. I wonder if he feels the same.

 

Back in those high school days, he was pale and lean. No, he wasn’t short or unmanly by all means. But his plump red lips were the most attractive characteristic that always left a stagnant impression to those who first saw him. I can’t bring back more details of his face on that winter day. Because I didn’t pay any heeds to him at that time. The only interaction, if it can be called such, between us was his singing softly the song Lemon Tree and my being the sole audience.

 

I wonder how, I wonder why

yesterday you told me 'bout the blue, blue sky

and all that I can see is just another lemon tree

t.w.o - HIS CANARY

Leon, a waiter at a small coffee shop named Trouvaille, is in an unrequited love with Augustus, a guitarist performing in the cafe on Monday and Friday. However, Trouvaille is not just a mere ordinary coffee shop but also a well-known bordello, run by an infamous underground organization, in which Leon is the most demanded male courtesan while Augustus turns a blind eye to the scene. The greatest burden of Augustus' life is his dark past which he has chosen to erase from his memory for a more peaceful route. The only motivation for Leon to strip for money is his mother who is in a persistent vegetative state. Unbeknownst to Leon, his countenance bear a stark resemblance to the deceased woman whose position shall never be replaced in Augustus' heart even if she is the root of his agony. Their lives would have been two asymptotes, never crossed path had Augustus not brought an unconscious, dirty and violated Leon into his apartment.
