Name: Tene(bris) - (the Darkness)

Age: 25

Height: 6'1''

Weight: 160 lbs

Hair: Long raven hair, usually rather tangled from lack of washing it.

Eyes: Blue

Skin: Pale, wearing black markings made with burned matches around his eyes and on his cheeks to look more menacing. From the lack of sun in this world it was rather common to be so pale.

Build: Slim, somewhat lanky but with some muscle under his clothes.

Tenebris had spend his day scouting out the area and scavenging for food. He was exhausted but he had hit jack pot by finding two bags of dried sweet corn, a sealed can of coffee powder and an astonishing amount of 4 cans of cacoa powder. He would be able to last about a month before he'd need to scavenge again with this amount of food. He hadn't been this lucky in years. In this area were a lot of run down warehouses. Most of them completely destroyed but few of them were half-standing. In one such buildings Tenebris had set up camp the day before. It used to be a camping store, but the tents there were either useless or too huge to take. The day before he had found a few gas burners there that still worked perfectly fine and had felt his lips turn up in a goofy smile at the delight he had felt from that. It seemed luck was with him these days.

Night was falling and Tenebris retreated to the very back of the camping store to a small office. This room was fairly unscathed and provided perfect shelter. There was a dusty old desk that he had placed his ratty sleeping bag under, an unlit candle next to the desk. A water cooler that was half-full. He had thrown the dead plant out of the room earlier. Tenebris smiled slightly as he placed his make-shift backpack underneath the desk. He took off his shoulder armor first, then the small pouch on his belt that held the two bags of sweet corn, kicked off his boots which he had modified himself to keep the tattered leather together, unbuckled the belts around his middle that held various weapons, all the chains and dangles and then finally he could take off his pants and jacket.

He lit the candle on the desk. From his backpack he retrieved a cloth and made it over to the water cooler, letting the water soak the cloth before he started to wipe himself down. He was just about done when he heard loud cheers further down the street. He knew the sounds of a hunting pack so he quickly blew out the candle, wanting to avoid being found by such a dangerous group of people. He threw all of his clothes under the desk and sat underneath there himself. Keeping two blades close to his body in case someone did show up. He knew how to fight and he certainly wouldn't go down without taking a few other's with him. Even if he was still stark naked and he'd have to protect his 13 cms length of manhood.

Name: Shiloh

Age: In his late twenties, he's not sure of his exact age himself

Appearance: His body is composed of well defined muscle and he is rather tall but despite his sturdy build and having experience in hand to hand combat he prefers to sneak up to enemies and disable them or avoid them altogether. For this reason he usually conceals his light light skin under layers of dark clothing. His hair is red but as it is always dirty the color is dulled and seems darker and almost brown. Only on the rare occasion when he gets a chance to clean it it's vibrant color shines through. It always forms messy spikes and he keeps it short by hacking off pieces of it with a knife when necessary. His eyes are brown and very dark, appearing almost black in the shadow.

Other:

*He has poor eye sight but nothing to correct it with. Once he had found a pair of glasses but they didn't suit him and only caused him head aches.

*He knows how to read and prides himself in the skill though a scavenger like him has little use for it.

The sound of footsteps and a cacophony of voices followed Shiloh while he hurried to put distance between himself and the dangerous men he'd run into and hide behind one of the nearby buildings. The darkness of the moonless night concealed him but he feared the lights the hunters carried would reveal him and so made sure to stay close to the ground and never put himself in the open for them to spot. His step was light and he moved soundlessly along a wall with no windows or doors, heading for the corner in hopes of finding an entrance on the other side of the concrete structure. At no point did he feel it necessary to turn back and look for the hostile group as he had faith in his ability to determine where they were from the noise they produced.

Luckily, as soon as he made the corner he was met by the front of what once must had been a store and after only briefly glancing inside to check if anything unpleasant waited for him he opened the door and hurried in. Having already had trouble with the hunting pack in the past he could assume they wouldn't pass by without searching the store for resources but he had few other options than to hide there and fortunately there were enough scattered objects available to use as concealment.

In search of a safe spot where to place himself and become motionless, he ventured deeper into the enclosed space and at the back of the room found another door. It made him nervous that this time around he had no method to see what was beyond it and make sure no danger awaited but after a short delay he opened the door enough to take a look inside. By then his eyes were accustomed to the darkness but on first glance he saw no one and so decided it was safe to move inside. He seated himself beside the nearest wall and with a soft sigh started to rummage through his things to find a second weapon, feeling that the blade he had strapped to his leg with a strip of leather wouldn't be enough if the hunters were to find him. while he took out a second, smaller blade from the backpack he was hauling around his eyes drifted over the space one more time, not because he feared he'd overlooked an enemy but because he needed something to block the door with.

While he did know how to defend himself, Shiloh hoped he would be allowed to wait patiently for the hostile group to pass by and not have to fight them.

The yells and cheers from the hunting pack still sounded pretty far away, it actually seemed like they were getting further away rather than closer. Yet he heard footsteps sneaking around very faintly. Tenebris closed his eyes to focus on the sound in order to determine where this person would be. That was until the door to the office opened with a distinct creak. The worst part, he had no idea who the intruder was. Was it a scavenger like him or was this someone who killed upon sight. A solo hunter? He couldn't risk to peek out there. In fact he was holding his breath and trying to figure out how to get out of this one. He had been in tough places before but the fact that he did not know who his intruder was really irked him. The worst part? While the sound of the hunting pack seemed to be moving away earlier, it now seemed to be coming closer. Perhaps his intruder was a scout.

In one hand he clutched his rusty knife, while in the other hand he held a much sharper shortsword. He still wasn't wearing any clothes, but he couldn't bother worrying about that, this was not the time to get self-conscious. With slow and cautious movement he started to rise in a position so that he could easily leap out at his assaulter. He needed to distract the other so he grabbed the candle he had used earlier and threw it at the wall opposite of where he was, so it would land to the right of the intruder. The candle ungracefully smacked into the wall, fell on the floor and then rolled towards the intruder's feet.

That was the moment Tenebris leaped out of his hiding spot. He didn't have that much muscle but he was fast and agile which made all of his movements graceful and calculated. The war paint on his face showed that he had learned how to fight, that's why he applied it proudly every day. Right now it made him look wild, indicating that he wasn't in a civilized state of mind. Then again, when had he ever been? While he leaped out at the intruder he trust his shortsword forward, slashing at the other male with calculated precision, he was attacking to kill.

Due to the sheer amount of things Shiloh carried and now had to look through a few minutes passed before he had the small blade he needed in hand. Despite it's size the knife had some weight and had proven itself to be durable, while once it could be folded and made more compact now it's mechanism was broken and it was left locked as it was.

Shiloh moved the rest of his belongings aside, more concerned with having space to defend himself than loosing his things now, and pushed himself up so he was standing by the door ready for the hunters to burst in. Besides the desk that was far from the door and seemed like it would be difficult to move, he hadn't spotted anything that could block the door and now in stead listened carefully for signs of the hostile group approaching or entering the store.

His eyes focused on the door but his attention was on what was out of view and so when the candle collided with the wall right beside him, Shiloh flinched and turned towards the object quickly, his eyes following it as it continued to move along the floor. It was fortunate that as part of the automatic response he'd brought up his weapon and was holding it defensively when, with just as little warning as the flying object, a man appeared and attacked him. He only narrowly avoided being slashed and with great haste moved to the side so he wouldn't be trapped between the stranger and the wall.

Shiloh studied the man quickly, as much as that was possible in the dark, and didn't pay much attention to his lack on clothes. He simply estimated that the other was a savage, perhaps someone who'd gone insane or had no other humans to raise them as was very common now that the wold had fallen apart. He continued to move and maintained a fixed distance between the two of them in hopes of stopping the other from getting another chance to cut him thanks to his superior speed.

-"I don't mean you any harm. There are hunters near by, they will kill us both if we make too much noise." Shiloh warned the stranger despite being unsure if he would even understand him or pay any attention to his words. He refused to break his code and kill another human even in a situation like this so he hoped the other would stop and not insist on fighting him.

Tenebris was suprised as the attack was deflected and it was more than obvious on his face. Especially when the other male didn't even counter-attack and instead took the time to speak to him. For a moment he wondered if this man was really that stupid? This world was kill or be killed... wasn't it. Why didn't he attack? What was going on here? How could this man be alive right now if he didn't attack the people that attacked him. While these questions were going around in his head, he just held his blades up defensively, trying to wrap his head around things. The only human he had ever known that didn't attack him was his father. He was raised to be wary of others, raised to stay out of his way of other's and the last time he ever even spoke to another had to be years ago.

"What.." his voice sounded so raspy and weird and he took a moment before continuing, ".. due yuu wand?"

His words where a little distorted but he hoped the other could understand him. His weapons still raised at the other man in case he would suddenly attack. The anticipation of what was next and the adrenaline rush of something so new and different had made the blood rush to his lower regions however and he felt his face become somewhat red but it was hardly the time to get embarrassed so he decided to ignore the sensation in his lower region.

The sound of the hunting pack only came closer and closer and he estimated them to be outside the building. So in a split decision he decided to disarm the other male. He slashed purely at the knife in the hopes it would fly out the other man's hand, then grabbed at him and pulled him to the desk, hiding underneath it once again and signing the other to do the same. His rusty blade still aimed at the more muscled-looking man. Tenebris had made the judgement that he would trust this man not to kill him with more obvious danger near, that would mean the death of both of them after all. No one could defeat a hunting pack.

The long moment that passed in them both only watching one another and the confusion that was apparent on the other man's face only made it harder for Shiloh to comprehend what was happening and what kind of person this stranger was. He couldn't bring himself to calm down and lower his weapon to prove that he wasn't a threat, the other seemed too unpredictable and made him nervous. However the stranger's attempt at answering him gave him some reassurance that he other wouldn't murder him mindlessly.

Shiloh parted his lips to speak but cut himself off before even completing the first word of the short sentence he had in mind. He could hear the hunters coming dangerously close and decided it was more important to tell the other man they had to hide than explain that he wanted nothing from him and had invaded his space by accident.

Before he had time to even as much as make a sound though, the stranger rushed towards him again and he prepared to defend himself from a vicious attack again. It surprised him to notice that the other had something else in mind than to hurt him and he allowed the small blade to fly out of his hand with ease. If necessary he could always reach for the bigger and more effective blade that was strapped to his leg but also, after seeing countless people with ill intentions he could recognize something in this person that he could try reasoning with.

As he was pulled along and instructed with a gesture to hide, Shiloh followed the other under the desk and only once the both of them were packed into the small space did he become fully aware of the strangers bare body. It was a ridiculous thing to think about when he was being threatened with a knife and a hostile group could burst in through the door at any moment but he was not use to such proximity even with someone fully dressed and couldn't help but be distracted.

Footsteps could be heard inside the store now and the voices of the hunting pack were loud enough for Shiloh to follow their conversation. He froze, barely breathing in hopes of becoming invisible and giving no sign of his presence, only his hand moved along his leg until it rested on the handle of his weapon.

Two fully grown man would usually already have a tight fit sitting under a desk together, let alone with all of Tenebris's possesions underneath. Tenebris uncomfortably felt a sharp side of his shoulder armor prodding into his back and he tried to lean away from it while also not wanting to crawl too close to the other man. Especially not without wearing any clothes and sporting an adrenaline boner, even though the other man seemed to be aware of his state already. How the hell did he get into this situation? He just decided to close his eyes, leaning his head back as he wordlessly prayed to his ancestors to not let him die in this type of setting.

That was the moment he remembered the last time he had encountered a hunting pack. It was something he had pushed to one of the farther corners of his mind. His heart suddenly started to hammer in his chest, his chest heaving as he started to breathe harder. He let his weapons drop and with one hand he covered his mouth. He was making way too much noise here. Widened blue eyes were focused on the man next to him and in a somewhat desperate plea for help, he grabbed the other man's hand, intertwining their fingers. Letting this panic attack progress more didn't just mean he'd get himself killed. He'd also murder the man that just a moment ago had spared his life.

The door slammed open. Tenebris closed his eyes and grabbed the blades that he had dropped. From the panic attack a moment before, his mind drew a complete blank now. He was programmed to fight. He was not a weakling, he would bathe in the blood of those that got in his way. Then the door closed again as the intruder decided the water basin wasn't good enough to be taking with him. Tenebris drew his knees closer to his body and hid his face. He scared himself sometimes... because he knew he on his own was just as dangerous as the whole hunting pack together.

He remained in that position under the desk. Huddled up, feeling much like a scared child. The hunting pack withdrew and Tenebris still remained in that position. Breathing softly. In and out. He was sure he was going to have to kill today but he hadn't and he was still breathing, somehow this stranger had to be the reason for all of this. It had to be or everything he had ever been taught was a lie.

With danger so close, Shiloh was barely breathing and his body was noticeably strained while he forced himself to stay in place despite wanting nothing more than to spring out of cover and run far from the building and the hunting pack. However, as soon as he noticed the man beside him move and spared him a glance he realized the stranger was having a much more difficult time copping with the possible severity of the situation. He looked at him with a frown and concern in his eyes but nearly jumped once the male gripped his hand. Knowing that with his movements restricted by the desk and his hand now preoccupied he wouldn't be able to pull out his weapon and fight if necessary, Shiloh considered trying to get free of the other man's hold but he couldn't bring himself to force them apart when the other obviously needed the contact. Instead, with nothing else left he remained motionless and hoped that the hunting pack would pass by without seeing them and wouldn't give them any trouble.

The moment the door opened, Shiloh acted on habit as much as the other man but in stead of prepare to attack them viciously, he froze completely and his presence faded like that of a dead man. Truly, he seemed like a corpse or an empty weight left in place of a human and this didn't change until moments later when he was sure the hunters had drifted some distance away from them.

A heavy sigh passed by his lips and shook his frame for a brief moment. There wasn't much left of the anxiety he felt for being so close to another man and under such circumstances, in fact the reassured to have another living being so close now that he'd seen the other wasn't mindlessly violent. He shifted to make himself more comfortable, as much as that was possible in the small space hey occupied, and with little reluctance he placed a hand on the stranger's shoulder and moved it along his back in an attempt to soothe him.

-"They're gone and I won't hurt you, you don't have anything to worry about." Shiloh was still unsure how much language the other understood but he liked to speak and saw no down side to assuring the frightened man that everything was fine now. "Do you need more space, do you want me to move away?" He asked in addition but continued to gently caress the other while he waited for an answer.

It had been years since Tenebris had been touched that gently and while his initial response was to tense up, a shudder ran down his spine and he felt himself get goosebumps on his arms. His cock twitched slightly, suddenly desperate for attention but all he really could do was look up, his expression utterly shocked. His blue eyes filled with confusion as he stared at the other man. Tenebris knew what sex was, knew how to pleasure himself but he hadn't ever had it at all. His father had been cryptic with Tenebris when he explained things, which caused Tenebris to think that this man next to him was his designated partner. Suddenly all the dread he felt was gone and it was all because of this man that had appeared in his hiding spot.

Even with the confused expression, Tenebris was a beautiful young man despite him being unaware of this. His blue eyes stood out very distinctively against his pale skin, especially with the dark markings around them. His facial features were sharp but very defined. His shoulders were not that broad so his appearance was more lanky than muscled. Scattered allong his body were scars that defined him, showed his history. One scar was particularly large, going from his left side all the way to just above his belly button. His nipples we're small pink buds that also stood out in the most attractive way against that pale skin, then there was his cock that was pressed up against his stomach. It was cut, most men we're circumsized in this world as it was just easier to maintain your hygiëne this way. The head of his cock was flushed a light red, something that always happened when he got erect.

"I'm.. fine," he said hesitantly and he leaned in closer to the other man, closing the space between them. It was supposed to be a romantic and soft gesture, a token of his graditude but instead it was clumsy and weird, showing clear inexperience as he pressed his lips a little too hard against the other man's. It felt weird to Tenebris, but his cock definetely liked where this was going. Tenebris was clueless however, he knew about sex and love very cryptically, he had just assumed that when one person felt this way the other automatically did too.

It took Shiloh no more than these few minutes spent with the other man to learn how unpredictable he was and also endlessly talented at catching him off guard and baffling him. The moment he met his blue eyes and recognize how confused he was the stranger made sure to induce that same uncertainty in Shiloh, as though exacting revenge for every emotion he was experiencing.

Shiloh breather in sharply and tried in vain to move away and give himself enough time to make sense of the situation. Their lips collided as the other male wished and gradually, as he was reminded why a kiss was enjoyable and began to learn the man's unique taste, he eased into the rough touch of his lips and started to kiss back.He pressed the palm of his hand to the stranger's cheek, first as a sign of affection or purely interest but then, as he came to his senses, it became a means to keep the man from joining their lips again while he pulled away.

Only once he created enough distance between them to study the stranger's features one more time he realize he didn't know what he wanted to say to him, if he should ask him what he was doing and why, explain that he was being too forward or act out on the hunger that was waking within him as well and only asked for the smaller man's name before giving in and continuing the kiss.

-"You don't have to thank me... if that's what you're doing." Shiloh informed though he suspected from the strangers erect member that being polite and repaying him for a kind touch wasn't his only motivation. His voice was clear and calm even though he was anything but cool and composed and while he was for the moment stopping the other man it didn't cross his mind even once to pry himself from him and get up from under the desk.

Tenebris kissed back very eagerly. He wasn't very good at the kissing thing, Tenebris was rough and clumsy and hadn't the slightest clue if he was doing it right or not. Yet without having touched himself, his cock was twitching in delight. This was the sort of contact he hadn't had before with anyone. He let out a soft groaning noise against the other's lips. Then the broader man pulled away and Tenebris looked absolutely hurt, wondering if he was doing something wrong. It was so visible in his eyes and his shoulders slumped slightly. They we're in love now right? Why did the other man not want to touch him anymore? Or had he mistaken the whole situation. Did this man still want kill him after all but was Tenebris making him confused, the same way the man had made him confused when he didn't instantly counter-attack? Was he just waiting for the right moment to strike?

It took him a moment to properly register the words the other man had spoken. A long time ago he was very good at talking but now he noticed it took him some time to find his own words: "You.. not kill Tenebris... Tenebris no kill you... we no kill what we... love. So we in love. Love.. have sex. We... kiss... and touch."

These were the teachings of his father and while he was talking he had gestured to himself by placing his hand on his chest and then on the other man's chest, then held his one hand on his own chest and his other hand on the redhead's chest to indicate they we're in "love" together. When he said kiss he tapped at the other's lips and then when he said touch he reached over to pat at the other man's crotch. In a way this made Tenebris seem very childish and innocent, yet the way he reached for the other's crotch so bluntly made it seem like he was more of a slut than someone who had no experience at all with this sort of thing.

Shiloh couldn't stand to look at the other man after their lips parted and it was because he could feel the pain he saw in his striking eyes as though he was the one hurt. He was ashamed of himself for causing the other suffering when he knew the male was asking for contact and attention in stead, the situation couldn't be helped but a part of his saw this as betrayal. Only once the stranger started to speak and revealed his name to him along with his reasoning did the awful guilt subside and Shiloh returned his gaze to the other man. The mere mention of love was enough for him to forgive the smaller male's brash behaviour even though he disagreed with nearly everything that he explained.

-"No, no, no!" Shiloh exclaimed and squirmed away when the other found a new area to reach for, he was afraid he might end up as excited as him if the treatment continued. Despite being lustful and tempted to act out on his own urges he now knew the other man was confused and that doing anything with him would be as good as abusing him. He was unsure what to do with himself, how to stay beside the male without making it difficult for both of them or how to force himself to get up and put a proper amount of space between them. His hand's dropped awkwardly on the man's shoulders only because he was confused if resting them somewhere else or even there would encourage the other to keep advancing.

-"You don't understand." Shiloh started to speak slowly and clearly to make sure he would be understood. "I don't kill anyone, and I don't want to kill you... but it doesn't mean I love you, I've just met you." He said this with confidence first of all to clear up the confusion he'd caused by sparing the other without giving him any explanation why. "You're not in love with me either. Love takes time, and being good to each other only means were human."

At first Tenebris just looked at the other male as if he had grown a second head. Then he just started frowning as his chest tightened up. He didn't really understand what the other man meant to say but he did catch the obvious rejection. The other man obviously didn't want him and for just a moment it looked like Tenebris was going to start crying. That expression was quickly gone as Tenebris just sighed and crawled from under the desk, silently starting to gather all of his stuff. When he found his pants he quickly put them on, he just put his jacket on loosely, not even bothering with zipping it up. He grabbed his overstuffed backpack. He slipped into his shoes and grabbed his belts in hand, only tying one around his waist, the one with the pouch on it that held the sweetcorn. He was quick in grabbing his sleeping bag and his weapons, just loosely holding them.

He didn't even glance at the man anymore and just walked out the door, feeling utterly stupid. It wasn't just the rejection, it was the fact that the other had also things that went completely against his believes, the fact that the other seemed to think his ways were idiotic while to Tenebris, the stranger was actually the one being stupid. Everything made sense so why was the other not intrested? Had he made that big a mistake in kissing the man and calculating what they should do?

Tenebris was caught so of guard that he didn't even realize he walked straight into a trap. His ankle caught on some wire. His belongings clattered as they fell on the floor and Tenebris stood there, wobbling on his legs. He wasn't even aware of the yelp he let out as he fell on his knees, then rolled onto his side. His hands clutched at his left leg, the only thing that was sticking out was a knifehandle. This trap was set to immobilize someone, which also meant that the hunting pack were planning to come back soon, how much time did he have to get out? He looked around himself helplessly, one hand clutching at the fresh wound while his other hand reached for the belts he usually wore. He had to tie off his leg and then he had to get away from here as quick as possible.

This was probably why he had been so lucky lately. Just so it could all crumble back down on him.

Seeing how the other man didn't show and sign of having understood any of what he'd said, Shiloh started to explain the same thing again, trying now to do so with simpler terms. However, as soon as he caught a glimpse of the man's expression and realized he was nearly in tears he cut himself off and grew quiet, guilt eating away at him again. He had no right and no valid reason to stop the other from leaving and when he got up from under the desk and hastily gathered everything he owned, Shiloh could only watched him in silence and with a faint frown set firmly on his lips.

Eventually, when the other male was already heading for the door and had moved out of view, Shiloh crawled out from under the desk as well so he could observe him for a moment longer. He feared he wouldn't meet this man again and knew he'd missed an opportunity or rather had ruined a chance to gain a friend. The mistake he'd made weighted heavily on his mind while he crossed the room and knelt down to gather his belongings that he'd thrown to the side in face of danger. By then he seemed just as devastated by their meeting as the other man had been and he couldn't help but notice that the stranger had shown him one final act of kindness by leaving rather than attacking him or taking his things as punishment for all the trouble he'd caused him.

Shiloh was still on the ground, fumbling with his pack when he heard the other cry out and without a second thought he jumped to his feet and ran out of the office to kneel beside him and examine his body for damage. It was fortunate that only one trap had been set as Shiloh would have surely gotten caught as well with how mindlessly he rushed over the space between them, even leaving all of his things behind for a second time.

-"Damn..." He mumbled to himself and upon recognizing who's trap it was that had caught the other he looked up at the door and searched the room frantically for any sign of more danger or a hostile presence. He handed the wounded male the belt he was reaching for but wouldn't dare do anything more without being granted permission.

-"We need to leave. Can I pull you up and help you move?" Shiloh offered and this once his tone was urgent and somewhat stern, he couldn't force himself to speak slowly and evenly in a situation like this.

Tenebris was huffing between a sudden onslaught of swearwords and curses as he lay on the floor. The most surprising part was that suddenly he sounded more than fluent, he didn't even need to think about these words and he just kept going on and on. He didn't even pause as he wrapped the belt around his leg and pulled it really tight, cutting off most of the bloodflow to his leg so he wouldn't bleed out. The belt had extra holes exactly for this type of incident, showing that while Tenebris may be seen as a savage, he had more than enough skills to outsmart most people purely because he was so prepared. This also showed in the fact that rather than taking the blade out, he left it in. Taking it out would mean he'd start bleeding more profusely and if he got away, it would leave an obvious trail of blood.

"Fucking piece of shit, fuckface, dick, bitch, faggot, motherfucking asshole, damnit stupid testiclesucking twatwaffle, lameass douchebag, pussylicking pissflaps," it was almost funny to see him swear like that while making an expression of such annoyance and pain.

Tenebris sat up firstly, reaching for his backpack and slinging it over his shoulder. The onslaught of swearwords had stopped by now and he was breathing in and out, harshly and unsteadily but making sure he got enough oxygen in his lungs without screaming out like a wailing child. He then grabbed his other belts and his sleeping bag. He effectively tied his belts together, then around his sleeping bag and hanging it from the belt around his waist so all he still really had to carry in his hands were his blades. He did all of this in just a matter of seconds, then looked up at the broader man and reached up a hand: "Help.. stand. Get stuff... I walk to exit... we meet at exit."

Shiloh didn't have time to ponder on the male's suddenly perfect speech or draw conclusions from the stream of words he said in perfect succession. In another setting it would had been an interesting thing to notice but now, he only wished he knew a way to keep the other quiet and eliminate the danger of them being found by the hunting pack. It was impossible now to leave without a trace since whoever had set up the trap would notice it had been activated but what was important was not to be there at the time of that inspection.

-"Please, don't make so much... noise..." Shiloh requested of the other man but already before completing the sentence saw that he wasn't audible over the curse words and gave up. Having failed to remind the other that dangerous people might be near, he looked at the door again, paranoid and afraid that someone would appear at any moment even though he didn't see anyone through the large glass display of the store.

Breathing a sigh of relief once the other seemed to overcome the pain and anger of being hurt by the trap, Shiloh nodded at his instructions but ignored altogether the hand reaching up to aid him in pulling the man up. He in stead wrapped an arm around him and hauled him up, though not without frowning at the effort it took to perform the spontaneous action. As bulky and well built as he was, Shiloh wasn't strong enough to pick up someone nearly his size with perfect ease.

He was reluctant to let go of the man once he was holding him however, fearing that even more damage would be done to his leg if he supported his weight on it and tried to walk. Shiloh had little choice though and decided to put faith in the male's judgment of what he could endure. After some delay he reluctantly let go of him and rushed back to the office to recover his belongings. Fortunately he'd previously packed everything together and now only needed to swing it over his shoulder and onto his back. The only things that was separate from the rest of his many possessions was the knife the other had knocked out of his hand and it was a brief detour to pick that up as well.

Only a few seconds passed before he reemerged from the office and headed for the exit.

Tenebris allowed the man to pull him up, grimacing at the movement but gritting his teeth and pulling through it. Once he was up he used the other male for support for just a moment before steadying himself. He groaned slightly, nearly falling as he tried to walk the first step and just barely managing to stay up. The second step was more cautious as he decided it best to walk with his good leg, drag his injured leg a little more forward, put the least amount of weight required for him to move on it as he took another step with his good leg and repeated the process. It took a lot of effort, there was a light sheen of sweat on his forehead and he was already exhausted. When he reached one of the building's support pillars he took a moment to lean against it, catching his breath.

The break he was taking was short lived however, when suddenly a man twice as broad and muscled as Tenebris stormed into the building, feral battle-screams escaping the man's throat as he came at the injured young man with a knife. Tenebris immediately readied his weapons but the hunter was already on him, tackling him to the floor. Tenebris landed on his back, hitting his head on the ground but not taking even a single moment to remain still. He managed to deflect the man's hits, holding his weapons up defensively. He was doing his best to buy time, waiting for an opening in the other male's strong blows. Yet it didn't seem to be coming. The man managed to disarm his left hand, the rusty smaller knife flying out of his hand. He was barely in time to use his swordshort as a shield, having to use his now free hand to push against the blade, cutting into his own hand in the process but he still wasn't strong enough to push the man away. The knife was getting closer and closer to his face and Tenebris closed his eyes, fear overtaking him as he couldn't do anything else. The man had him completely pinned to the floor.

Shiloh came to an abrupt stop and frowned angrily at the sight that awaited him back in the store. He couldn't spare much time on figuring out what exactly had happened in the brief moment while he was away but he persuaded himself to think of a tactic both for his sake and his comrade's. Their enemy seemed far too big and powerful for him to overcome with strength alone so he quickly discarded his initial plan to charge at the hostile man. In stead, hoping that the other male could defend himself for a few seconds longer, he ducked to the side so their attacker wouldn't spot him and would be fooled into thinking he had only one person to fight. He rushed through the shadows but without producing any sound or giving any hint of his presence as he moved and picked up the heaviest object he noticed along the way. Swiftly, he snuck up to the hostile and with a forceful swing crashed the makeshift weapon against his skull, aiming to only disable him though he feared he might had done more.

The forceful nature of the large man's attack shifted momentarily as the hit made it impossible to keep pushing down on his victim but Shiloh didn't wait for him to fall or react and pushed him to the side. Not waiting for permission this time he pulled his comrade up and staid pressed against his side to support him as he headed for the exit.

Shiloh still believed it was possible to escape without killing their attacker even though the man could still give them immense trouble if nothing else by sending other members of the hunting pack after them. However it was likely that the rest of the pack had already heard the noise he had produced and were already on their way.

Tenebris tried to kick at the man's legs, trying to wiggle away from underneath. Yet that proofed to be the wrong tactic as a white hot pain seared through him, the epitome being the knife in his leg. He let out a pained cry as his arms gave out and he rolled his face away from knife, managing to get away with a gash on his cheek. He immediately raised his weapon up again as the man prepared to strike once more. That was when the male who had rejected him cracked the hunter's skull and pushed him to the side. Tenebris helped push the hunter away in his own way, with a violent kick to the jewels.

When the other man pulled him up he looked around wildly. His knife. The small rusty blade he owned was nowhere to be found. "I need..." Tenebris cut himself off as the other willed him to walk. He owed his life to this man, he figured he could just come back for the blade later.

He felt blood drip on his cheek, and while with one arm he was holding onto the redhead, he pressed his free hand to his bleeding cheek. He half hid his face against the other male's side. He wouldn't admit it ever, but he was really scared just now. His heart was still beating a mile a minute as he walked as quick as he could with his injured leg and the erection he was again sporting inside of his pants. It wasn't that fighting turned him on or anything, it was just the close bodily contact with other human's. It made his body react weirdly. Perhaps it was because he was never really near other's. The fact that he was freely allowing this man to help him was actually a rarity in itself.

Tenebris pointed at an alley across the street. If they moved through there, they would come to a more city-like area. He knew various hiding spots where they could set up quietly and where Tenebris could rest and heal up. He guessed it was a good thing he found so much food, because in the state he was in right now, he highly doubted he would be up and running very soon.

Shiloh pushed through the door shoulder first and was glad to be out of the store as it was less likely there would be a traps set up out in the street. If he somehow ended up badly injured as well he knew their chances of getting away would be close to none and this made him more afraid of being injured. He refused to stop for anything but while he pushed forward he scanned the area with his gaze, searching for any sign of danger even though there wasn't much else he could do besides pull the other man along the he was already doing. At no point did it cross his mind that he could leave the other behind, sacrifice him to save himself. Despite having run into a miss understanding with him moments after they'd met he was now thinking that they would either both pull trough this or die together.

With how little he knew of the area and his mind racing he was thankful to the other male for instructing him where to go. He trusted him and didn't doubt he was being pointed in the right direction, towards some sort of shelter or safe place.

Already upon entering the alley Shiloh felt more secure with the walls of the surrounding buildings defended them from two sides. It didn't take long for them to emerge on the other side of the narrow passage however and they found themselves in what was once a more urban setting. He kept moving forward, panting lightly from carrying both the other man with his belongings and his own heavy collection of useful objects and junk.

-"Where do I go now?" He asked the other, certain that this location was familiar to him and that he would be able to guide him in the right direction once more.

It was near impossible to examine his comrade while he was pressed up against him but Shiloh tried to take note of all of the injuries the other man had suffered. He feared the male would be in trouble simply because of the number of cuts he had suffered and the amount of blood he was loosing. It was to an extent fortunate that they had each other to rely on in this situation but Shiloh blamed himself for what had happened and felt sorry for the pain the other was suffering.

Nearby was an emergency bunker, build before the nuclear winter had started. It had been long raided but last he was there, there were some matresses. Everything else they really needed could be found nearby and the best part about the bunker was that it could be locked from the inside. The tricky part was that if someone was already using that, it'd be more difficult to find a good place to stay for a while. Tenebris lead the way, albeit slowly. What normally would've taken about ten minutes, took double that time now and Tenebris had to stop from time to time to rest for a minute. His leg was killing him, his hand and the cut on his cheek were throbbing faintly and he just felt so dizzy, he probably had hit his head on the ground a bit harder than expected.

When they finally did get there, they proved to be in luck. The entrance to the bunker was inside a hardware store, which was completely raided except for some odds and ends. It was pitch dark but Tenebris was someone who had long grown used to that, his vision enhanced from the fact that he had grown up in a world with hardly any sun. The ladder that led down did prove to be difficult with his injuries but eventually he managed to get down. He locked the door as they were safely inside. The bunker wasn't very big and looked to be more of a showcase model.

In the corner of the bunker two matresses stood upright against the wall and for the rest there really wasn't much in the bunker, some steel racks that had held cans of food at some point but were probably taken a very long time ago. The room was somewhat dusty but one of the more sterile places to be right now. For the plain fact that he needed to treat his wounds and take some time to rest and get better, this was more than fine.

He slung off his backpack and took of his belt with his sleeping bag hanging off it. For someone this injured, he was rather calm as he rummaged through his bag to find some matches and his candles. It was only when he had them lit that he sat down on the ground. With his shortsword he ripped a bigger hole in his pants to assess the damage to his leg. It seemed to be a pretty straightforward stab. Tenebris rummaged through his bag more, retrieving a saline solution from it and a smaller pouch that held medical supplies, needles, thread and some bandages. He didn't really have a compress but the bandages would have to do. He did all of it very silently and efficiently, as if he had forgotten that there was another with him. This really showed how used Tenebris was to being alone. He took one of his belt and placed it in his mouth, biting down on it as to not scream when he pulled the blade out of his leg. Shaking hands reached for the knifehandle. When he pulled it out his face contorted into an expression of pure agony. Blood started to seep from the wound but actually stopped rather quickly as Tenebris's leg had been tied off for a while now.

Shiloh moved in accordance to the other man, mirroring his speed and stopping when he did so they staid by each other. He was still fully aware of the danger that could had followed them through the narrow alley though and he couldn't bring himself to properly calm down while they were still in the open. He also couldn't help but worry and be distracted by the smaller male's injuries that he was sure had been left untreated for longer then they should have.

The silence that settled between them easily became a source of frustration as it left him with no answer to how much father they had to go and where exactly they were suppose to arrive. When the other lead him inside of the hardware store Shiloh assumed it would be their shelter for the next few weeks and though it wasn't anything extraordinary he was satisfied with it. He found out soon enough though that there was more to the location and as the bunker was revealed to him he became momentarily more enthusiastic about their chances of recovering from the meeting with the hunting pack.

For a brief moment Shiloh's lost focus and his gaze drifted over the small space while he evaluated their hiding place. However, by the time he slipped the pack containing his possession lightly down from his shoulder and dropped it by one of the walls, his attention returned to the other man and he placed himself by his side again.

He was impressed with the amount of medical supplies the other had with him and by the efficiency with which he worked even despite his injuries. Shiloh did feel it was unnecessary for him to push himself like that though and hoped to be given something useful to do. The guilt he already felt only grew when he was left to sit there in silence and be of no use to his comrade.

Seeing what he was intending when he reached for the blade stuck in his leg, Shiloh gave the other man a concerned look and shifted closer to him. The knife was removed before he had a chance to speak however and acting on impulse he gripped onto the other males shoulder.

-"Damn it let me help you!" Shiloh said harshly but it was clear in his voice that he was concerned ad disliked the pained expression he found on his comrades face.

When the other man suddenly raised his voice, Tenebris flinched terribly and looked up, his facial expression full of shock. He had been so concentrated on treating his wound that he completely forgot about the other man's pressence. "So..rry.." he muttered softly. A light sheen of sweat was visible on his face, a sign that his body was struggling with all the injuries it had sustained. Tenebris leaned his head back against the wall and took a few deep breaths, closing his eyes. He felt himself slipping out of conscious, but he figured he couldn't let that happen just yet so he opened his eyes again.

A trembling hand reached for the saline solution and he handed it over to the man. From his bag he retrieved a canteen of water, of which he first took a sip and then handed over to the redhead. "First... this," Tenebris said as he handed over the saline. "Then this," he gave the canteen of water, "then... sew back together." He gave the pouch with the needles and the thread and nodded at the man. Then once again he placed the belt in his mouth and bit down on it, nodding at the other male to go ahead. He really wasn't looking forward to this part. The saline solution was necessary to clean out the wound and lessen the chances of infection but the downside was that it stung terribly.

Another thing was that he was starting to lose feeling in his toes on that leg. He'd tied off his blood supply for too long already and he really hoped the other would be quick about this so he could take the damn belt off of his leg. Yet he was already more than greatful for what the other was doing for him so he grabbed the hand that was on his shoulder and lightly pressed his lips against the palm of the other's hand, a weird way to say thank you but Tenebris felt it was an easy and clear way to convey his feelings. Then his expression saddened again, just slightly. The man already said he didn't love Tenebris, so he kind of figured that sooner or later this man would leave after all.

Shiloh regretted allowing his temper to flare and raising his voice once he saw how he'd frightened the other man with his sudden outburst. However he was satisfied to have gotten his attention and memorized the instructions he was given. He arranged the needed supplies neatly in the space between them so he could reach for each with ease later on and in the meanwhile told the other not to apologize to him and explained it was unnecessary.

Aware that it was crucial he act quickly, Shiloh spared only a moment to smile at the other male once he felt his lips pressed lightly against his skin. Of course he disliked to see a saddened expression return to his comrades face but he planed in advance to show him thanks with a tender gesture once he was done treating his injuries.

Once he started cleaning the wound Shiloh was collected and just as efficient as the other man had been previously while fumbling with his belongings. Despite knowing he would cause the other pain he wasn't reluctant at any point while cleaning the wound on his leg but didn't allow himself to even glance at the other knowing that he would end up working more carefully and slowly if he even caught a glimpse of suffering apparent on his features.

With the needle and thread, Shiloh believed he had good reason to be more gentle but he still worked quickly and as soon as he finished fully treating the stab wound he did the other man a favor and loosened the belt that was tied around his leg.

-"How do you feel?" Shiloh questioned and though there were still hints of concern in his voice he was sure he'd done well with the task given to him. Once again he failed to notice that his hand ended up resting casually on the other man, this time on his leg.

Tenebris was really biting down hard on the leather belt, muffled groans still escaping into the room. His eyes started watering the moment the saline solution was poured into his wound. Yet Tenebris kept his gaze focussed on the work the other was doing. If he did something wrong, the stitches might come lose fast or the wound could get infected. The man did everything fine though and Tenebris was somewhat greatfull he didn't have to do it himself. It was a bit more ruthless this way, but it was faster, more efficient and in the end safer. Yet having the other man so close in proximity, despite all the pain he was in, especially with the man's hand resting on his leg when he was done, had made his manhood eagerly pressing against the confines of his pants, craving to be let free, desiring to be touched. He was so focussed on that, that he didn't even hear the question the man asked him.

Now that the other had already rejected him he rather not bother with his erection, he was afraid the other might get mad at him and just leave right away. Instead he discreetly rested his uninjured arm over his crotch area to cover up. Now the awkward part was that he should actually be taking off his pants in order to bandage the wound properly, but he figured he'd try to extract the other's attention to something else. So he opened his injured hand and pointed at the saline solution. "Just.. that.. and bandages," he instructed the redhead on how to treat that wound. The cut on his cheek could use a normal bandaid, but he didn't have those so he figured he'd just leave that untreated and just wash that smaller wound, sure it would scar but he already had plenty scars on his body. A few more or less didn't really matter.
