Having received no answer to his question Shiloh nodded lightly at he new set of instructions and sighed softly, partially out of frustration because he was left unsure of what the other man was thinking and partially because he felt relieved that there were at least no complaints. He took his comrades hand and for a brief moment only studied the cuts that were to be found there as he hadn't had a chance to see how severe they were before this point. Now that the other male's largest injury was treated and he was no longer loosing blood due to it Shiloh could afford to work more slowly and wasn't as concerned any more though he would have preferred to also bandage the stab wound right away and clear it from his mind completely for now.

As he started to clean the cut on the other man's hand he put more care into being gentle than he did previously and hoped to cause him as little pain as possible. He wasn't certain but believed this was the last thing he needed to treat and was glad for it.

Unlike before, Shiloh would now allow himself to occasionally look up from his work and observe the other man for short moments. With the second injury being on the male's hand it brought them in a more comfortable positioned and made it easier for Shiloh's gaze to wonder off and study his comrades features. He wasn't only searching his face for hints of discomfort but also tried to decipher what he was thinking, if he was still upset with him as when he'd stormed out and if it would be smart to try starting some sort of conversation.

When he glanced up again at the other man while adding the bandages, Shiloh made sure to look into his eyes for a fraction of a second and offered him a faint smile. Now that they were in a safe place and could start to recover and rest he could smile genuinely but this was also a test to see how the other would react.

Tenebris had discarded the leather belt, which had his bitemark indented in it right now. He let out a slight whine when the saline was put on his hand, he hated that stuff so bad. So instead of sitting still he constantly squirmed and wiggled his fingers, effectively causing the saline to reach more creases and causing it to sting even more, his plan to get away from the saline backfiring horribly. It made his eyes water again and tears streamed down his cheek, which he hastily rubbed away with his good hand. Real men didn't cry. Even when injured and even when they just had their heartbroken.

When the other man looked him in the eyes, Tenebris's face heated up and he looked away quickly. Then when the male was done with his hand, Tenebris quickly got up. Actually, he got a up a little too quick and he instantly felt himself get dizzy, he leaned against the whole and closed his eyes for a second. Then felt how he lost complete control off his body as he slipped out of consciousness. It would be hours later before Tenebris woke up again.

Shiloh would had frowned when the other man turned away from him but he noticed what had triggered him to react as he did and because of it smiled wider at him in stead. He finished bandaging his hand shortly after and examined his work for only a moment before backed away to give the other man more space to stand. Fortunately though he'd staid close enough to him to react quickly and hold him up when it was apparent he was about to faint. With a bit of a struggle he picked him up and fumbled to keep him pressed against his chest while he pulled down one of the mattresses and placed him on top of it. For a moment he sat beside him and breather a heavy sigh because moving the other male had proven to be more difficult that he'd expected.

This was when Shiloh remembered what he'd promised to himself while mercilessly cleaning the man's wound and even though he was unconscious now, he leaned down to press a light kiss to his forehead. It was an apology both for the physical pain he had to cause him and for how harsh he had been when arguing against his feeling. Shiloh hadn't meant for it to seem like he disliked the other man or the idea of growing close to him, it was his decision to isolate himself from other humans but he liked being with this person much more than being alone. What he had meant to explain to his comrade when he'd rejected him was that he couldn't fall in love so simply and easily but apparently his words had come out wrong.

It occurred to Shiloh that he hadn't even introduced himself and that they could had gotten themselves killed without even meeting each other properly. The thought brought a faint frown to his face but he knew how ridiculous it was to be upset over unfortunate things that hadn't even happened and forced himself to get up again and do something useful.

While walking back to where he'd left his pack he looked around the room again, glancing over to the entrance which he hoped was a s secure as it seemed. While he searched through his things and noted how much food and water he had left he learned nothing good. As he'd thought he didn't have much of either resource and on top of that his backpack, despite it's size, was filled up with miscellaneous objects and in such a mess that he had no idea where important things had ended up. In order to make things even somewhat easier to go through he took out some of his belongings, thinking how they would surely be staying in the bunker for at least a few weeks. He arranged what food he had on the empty metal racks and also took out what spare clothes he had along with a stack of books. This alone made the pack much lighter but he knew there was more to be done to fix the mess inside, however that would have to wait for later.

Shiloh refused to look through the other man's things because he feared that if caught he would end up in an argument with him. Despite helping him escape and treat his wounds he didn't plan to demand anything from the other male and so counted the food and water he'd taken out of his own pack as everything that was available to him.

Afraid that the hunting pack was still near by and that he could be caught and killed, Shiloh ventured outside cautiously and started to search the area close to their hiding place for more supplies.

When Tenebris woke up the first thing that struck him was that his head felt like it was trying to split in two. The second thing he noticed was that the floor he was lying on was soft, he hadn't had a place to sleep on this comfortable in quite some months. So for a moment he allowed himself to relax back into the mattress, curling up in an even more comforting position. Then he noticed the dull pain in his leg and memories from the day before started to resurface. With a jolt he sat up, immediately regretted it and grabbed at his stitched leg. The wound actually looked fine, it wasn't reddened so there was no sign of infection. Tenebris let out a relieved sigh and looked around the room calmly.

Not much had changed since he fainted, except for the fact that the red-haired man was now gone. He felt a disappointed, lonely feeling settle in his chest. He didn't get to say goodbye or anything. He had expected the other to leave but just not quite this soon and it felt somewhat like betrayal. It was that killing was something he grew used to, this was something so new and foreign to him, he was bound to get hurt here from the start. An ally meant that you had someone to talk to, someone who could help you keep sane after wandering around alone for years, someone to curl up against when the weather got colder, someone who could stand watch while you slept. There were definitely downsides to it as well. You'd have to share everything, the other person could slow you down, you'd not only have to look after yourself but also after them, you'd have to worry about them and if the other person were to die, you'd feel like dying yourself. Tenebris knew this, it had been like that when he was with his father. Maybe it was for the best that the other man had walked now. But that thought was not enough to stop Tenebris from crying like a lost child. The first tears rolling down his cheeks surprised Tenebris himself, then they just kept coming and Tenebris didn't know how to stop it. He fell back onto the mattress, burying his face in it and staining it with his tears. He would never tell anyone about this.

When he finally managed to stop the tears, he got up, rubbing at his eyes and sniffling slightly. When he saw the items in the metal racks, anger flared up inside of him and he wildly threw the items to the other side of the room. He wasn't a charity case, the man did not have to leave stuff behind just because he felt guilty. If the other man had felt guilty he should have stayed with Tenebris, who often wondered what he was even living for, what was the purpose to survive? Would it ever really get any better? Would it be worth it? Tenebris just sighed and dragged his mattress across the floor to the other corner, leaving the other man's stuff lying across the room.

Tenebris grabbed his own backpack and turned it upside down, it held a surprising amount of items but only a few items were really useless. Tenebris systematically set them in the metal rack. First the two gas burners. Then the matches. The coffee powder and the 4 cans of cacao powder. He probably didn't need that much cacao powder but he felt accomplished in having it so he kept it. Next to that he put the sweetcorn. He also put his water canteen with that, there was not too much left in that. Soon he'd have to go out to retrieve more. Underneath that shelf he laid out his tools. Scissors, a waterstone, 3 rolls of tape, a hammer and some files. With that he put the remaining thread and needles he owned, his bandages and the saline solution. On the last shelve he put a necklace with a small wooden carving of a bear on it and some patches of cloth and leather.

When Tenebris was done arranging all of his items he took off his clothes and laid back down on the mattress, using his rolled up sleeping bag to keep himself propped up. First he took care to bandage the wound on his leg, tying the bandage around it, not too tight but also not too loose. Then he proceeded by wrapping his fingers around the base of his manhood, that was slightly sore from not having found release earlier. He felt himself harden in his hands. His thoughts impure as he imagined the redhead leaning over him, kissing him again. He let out a few soft gasps and moans, allowing himself to have this pleasure after having such a rough time.

Now without the other man to direct him Shiloh had little idea of where to look for more supplies and he warned himself to take careful note of the route he was following while searching so he could later return to the bunker. Though he knew some time had passed and that mostly anyone would had give up by then he feared the hunting pack was still after them and was careful to the point of becoming somewhat paranoid. For this reason and also because he was sure the hunters had taken whatever was worth carrying, he didn't even consider returning to the area they had run from. Thinking back to their encounter with the hostile man he frowned and wondered if he'd attacked forcefully enough that the man was left dead where they'd pushed him to the ground. Shiloh doubted it, still it was in his nature to be concerned and think deeply about what he'd done whenever he was forced to injure someone.

He started his search in the buildings closest to their shelter but quickly learned there was nothing left there and drifted further away hoping he wouldn't in the end be forced to return with nothing to show as result of his efforts. It soon became apparent why the area was abandoned though. While it provided great protection form enemies and a good place to conceal oneself among the buildings it was empty of resources. Hours passed before Shiloh lost hope of finding a significant amount of either food or water and started to head back to the bunker. He was careful to make sure no one had noticed or followed him even though he knew how unlikely that was. He'd proven to himself that the hunting pack was nowhere close and no single person would give them trouble.

Despite how long had passed, Shiloh expected to find his comrade as he'd left him since he estimated that even someone like him would need a considerable amount of rest after how much damage he'd suffered. It didn't cross Shiloh's mind that his being absent would be a source of problems, he expected the other would think logically and figure out where he was.

It took him off guard to find the other without his clothes again and busy with something that made the situation very awkward. As he'd fortunately entered both the building and the bunker quietly he intended to go outside for a while but then as he turned he lightly kicked something on the ground and upon closer inspection realized it was one of his belongings. He was quick to take note of everything that had been thrown around and suddenly he no longer felt like he was intruding and decided the other man didn't deserve whatever privacy he meant to give him.

With a very clear frown on his lips and anger integrated in every movement of his body he bent down and while ignoring the other male started to collect his things that had been harshly rearranged. Of course, while he cleaned the mess in silence he wondered what it was that had triggered the other to act out but the correct answer was not among the ones he considered. The simplest explanation was that his comrade was much more uncivilized than he'd guessed and had decided to toss everything across the small bunker to make space for his own things. However, despite thinking of it Shiloh didn't believe the answer was something so simple and rude.

He wasn't only upset by how his things had been handled but also disappointed because he felt this was a clear sign the two of them couldn't get along for even a moment when they were not in life threatening danger. They were likely better off being far away from each other but Shiloh didn't want to abandon a possible friend, someone he might grown close to over something so minor. Rather than storm off once he had all of his possessions gathered he packed everything, including what he'd just found, and dragged his backpack along as he retreated to one corner of the room.

Tenebris was so into it that he hadn't even heard the other male come in. He was being more lewd than he would ever care to show anyone too, borderline whore-like. Biting his lower lip, his eyes close, making sounds he never would if he hadn't been absolutely sure he was alone, panting softly, moans that he would've held back escaping his lips, not hiding the slick sounds his hand on his cock was making. Then he heard the sound of something getting kicked into. Tenebris eyes immediately shot open and he reached for his sword. Then he saw the other man and his cheeks flared up a bright red. He quickly sat up and reached for his clothes, laying them on his lap to cover himself up as if the other male hadn't seen everything already. But this was different to Tenebris. After getting rejected he felt the other man didn't deserve to see him like this. The fact that he didn't even seem to care even hurt him a little. The other could at least act as if he felt like he was intruding. This was a very private thing he walked in on after all.

Tenebris couldn't hide the fact that he felt happy the other returned. So a shy smile reached his face, his cheeks a bright red color as the blush on his face didn't settle down. He wanted to greet the other man but cut himself off as he saw how angry the other male's movements were as he picked everything up. Then it struck Tenebris that he had thrown the other man's possessions around. Feeling terribly guilty he looked away, thinking the other man would leave after he gathered all his items.

When the other man finally settled down in the other corner though, Tenebris stared at the other dumbstruck. With the angry stance he was sure the other male hated him now, that he had completely blown it. So when the other settled in the opposite corner. Those stupid tears welled up in his eyes again and he rubbed them away somewhat angrily. He really didn't want to cry and seem weak in front of the other man. But his feelings were a mix of happiness and also guilt and he didn't quite know how to control all of it. Being alone, Tenebris hadn't been confronted with feelings for a while.

So Tenebris sat in his corner of the room, wiping away the tears. Clothes on his lap, covering his painfully hard erection. His cheeks a bright red from being discovered that way. Everything about this confused him. His body was sore and his mind was being tested. And while he was terrified of all these emotions. All the things he was feeling, he felt more human than he had felt in years. His words sounded pitiful when he spoke, like he was absolutely helpless and didn't know what to do: "Sor-ry... you.. I was.. thin-king you.. le-left." He was unsure if the other male would understand him entirely, seeing as his speech was already hard enough to understand without him stuttering and sobbing.

Once he'd seated himself on the ground as far from the other man as the walls would allow, Shiloh placed his backpack beside him and glared at the empty space in front of him. He refused to look up at the other male both in order to stop himself from studying his expression and because he knew watching the other while his body was still mostly revealed would cause his thoughts to stray to something else than the anger he felt. Normally he would try to calm down, think things over rationally and with more understanding for the other person but now he knew it would only cause more problems if he ended up just as aroused as the other man.

The near silence, or rather the lack of words between them created a heavy, unpleasant atmosphere and he felt strained and unsure what to do other than wait for some reaction from the other man. With how he tried to ignore him even now, it took Shiloh a long moment to notice his comrade's efforts to wipe away and hide the tears streaming down his cheeks. The sight gave him enough reason not to quickly return his gaze to the blank spot he'd been focusing on and in stead he watched the other, his angry frown fading to leave behind a saddened expression. No matter how upset he was he still didn't want to cause the man any pain or make it seem like he way toying with his feelings.

When the other spoke he barely understood any of what he was saying but took note of the word 'left' and what had been done to his belongings started to make sense. "I went out to look for supplies... I'm running out of food and water." Shiloh explained in an even, quiet voice that strived to be gentle. He still believed the other male had overreacted and was unhappy to have had to pick up everything from the ground, however he now only wanted to help his comrade calm down.

-"Do you want me to go outside....?" Shiloh asked in addition but his voice was nearly a whisper as he assumed the other would understand why he was offering him a while longer alone in the room.

Tenebris tried to put his pants on and hide his erection as much as possible. Even though it was visible through the leather of his pants and it was so painful purely from the fact that he hadn't allowed himself to ejaculate for a while. Yet he forced those feelings to the back of his head when the other said he was running out of food and water. So Tenebris picked up all of his food and drink-items and shoved them towards the other male. Even though Tenebris himself hadn't eaten in a while, he was willing to offer up the supplies he had to make things right with the other man again. He had to show that he was someone worth sticking around with.

When the other asked if Tenebris wanted to be left alone, his cheeks flared up a bright red and he shook his head. He didn't want to inconvenience the other male. Not with the way he had been looking away from him. Tenebris thought the other man found him disgusting, so he had to prove that he was at least useful to the other. Having the other male step outside just so he could take care of himself seemed like it would be bothersome, so he would put his personal needs on second place. He was already wounded and would slow them down tremendously. He knew he wouldn't be able to do too much the coming days but he found that somehow he would be useful to the other, he would make sure of it.

So he crawled over to the other male and slowly reached for the other's backpack, curiously reaching for it and opening it before the other even really had a chance to stop him. Tenebris had seen the knife the other had before and saw how it's flipping mechanism got stuck. Tenebris was sure he could fix it so he looked for it. Polite mannerism wasn't exactly something Tenebris was familiar with. Some things he had learned. But with his father he had always shared everything so he didn't realize that this might be a very rude thing to do, especially after throwing the other's stuff around the room before.

Shiloh was disappointed that his words were met with silence and he concluded that he would receive no answer at all, however then his comrade took what food and water he had and pushed it all towards him. The first thing that ran through his mind was not to take the offered supplies though but to watch carefully how the other man moved so he could see if his injury was giving him too much trouble. If they hadn't just run into a misunderstanding he would had warned the other to stay still and rest so everything would heal sooner but as things were he kept quiet and in stead glanced again at the items that were given to him with a faint frown.

-"You don't need to give me this, you don't owe me anything." Shiloh assured the other man and was careful not to be harsh and make the statement seem like him refusing to have anything to do with the other. "I would like it though if we could both share what we have... I really don't plan on leaving you." With these few reluctantly spoken words he felt he'd just proposed some sort of bond to the other man even though he'd been the one to reject his love before. It hadn't occurred to him until this happened that even though developing feelings so quickly seemed ridiculous to him his comrade had truly grown attached to him in the brief time they were together. Of course it was partially because they were both so lonely and it was so difficult to find another friendly human, however he wouldn't take what the other man was feeling lightly again.

Shiloh didn't protest when his back pack was taken or even try to retrieve it from his comrades hands, he could see he had something in mind, a reason for taking his things. "Do you want me to help you look through there. It's really a mess..." He mumbled the last bit as though to himself and moved close to the other man to watch how he was moving things around in the pack. There was nothing especially fragile in there since it would had by then already been broken and nothing that he didn't want his comrade to see so he felt comfortable but was still curious.

Tenebris smiled gently as the other man proposed to share their rations. His heart beating a little faster as the other man told him he wouldn't leave for a while. Tenebris leaned in to the other male, about to press his lips against the man's but then froze and pulled away, remembering that the other man probably didn't want him doing any of that stuff. So he tried to focus on finding what he sought instead. Rummaging through all the things the other had, curiously looking through it. Trying to get his mind off of the erection he was still sporting in his pants.

When Tenebris couldn't find it. Instead of letting the other man help he just turned the backpack upside down, scattering all the items on the floor. Tenebris frowned slightly at all the items that came out of the bag. Deeming some useful and others crap. He picked up one of the pens and tilted his head slightly at it, then tossed it aside again. He then saw the knife and took it, taking a screwdriver that also spilled out of the backpack and starting to work on the knife, disassembling it completely. Tenebris was hardly aware of the fact that he had started to run a fever, probably because he was overexerting himself and pushing his body to the limit. He was never really the type to sit still after all.

There was a slight sheen of sweat building on his forehead. Tenebris however just continued to fiddle with the disassembled knife. As he thought, one of the springs had rusted and wouldn't work anymore. So Tenebris disassembled one of the fountain pens and used the spring he found in there as he assembled the knife back together and handed it back over with a bright smile on his face, showing that he had fixed it's flipping mechanism. At that moment he looked a bit like a child waiting to get a compliment or a dog waiting for it's treat, looking at the other male expectantly.

Upon realizing how the other man planed to thank him for his promise to stay, Shiloh grew still and watched the other carefully as he leaned closer. When in stead of pressing their lips together his comrade moved away as easily as he'd approached he gave him a puzzled look and was surprised by his own reaction and the disappointment that he felt. However he put an effort into preventing a frown from forming on his face and revealing what he felt, in stead he returned his attention to his backpack.

It was obvious what the other man intended to do as he lifted the pack but Shiloh only had time to part his lips and pronounce a couple of letters in protest before all of his possessions were spilled on the ground. He sighed softly, seeing what a mess had just been created and would have to be sorted out but still didn't become upset with his comrade until he tossed the pen to the side. This did make Shiloh frown angrily and glare at the other for a brief moment, though not nearly as fiercely as he had before. He would had gladly explained what the fountain pen was and what it's use was but now he only leaned over to pick it up and continued to watch in silence. He'd figured out soon enough that the other man wanted to fix his knife but he was curious how he would do that and so observed his work. It of course upset him to see another one of his pens be attacked but when in the end the fixed blade was handed to him he was glad to see it working properly.

Shiloh first of all offered the other male a bright smile as thanks but since unlike him he'd noticed his fever, he next moved a hand over the man's forehead and then pressed his lips there. He hummed as he collected the information he'd needed and without much warning or asking for permission he picked his comrade up like he'd done before.

-"Thank you." Shiloh added as he carefully walked around all of his belongings that covered the ground and placed the other man back on the mattress. "I'm not going to let you get up and strain yourself like that again." He warned him seriously but the tone of his voice revealed that he was only concerned for the other.

Tenebris had been oblivious to all the looks the other male was giving him, so engrossed in fixing the blade that he forgot about anything else. It was only when he was done and the other male gave him that smile that he started noticing the rest of the world again. He also noticed the faint throbbing sensation in his head and how hot his body was feeling, he wrote it off as his body saying it wanted release from the issue he was having in his pants though. That was why he looked a little dumbfounded when the other man put his hand against his forehead, giving back a gentle smile when the other man pressed his lips there, despite the slight clenching feeling he felt in his chest.

When he was lifted he felt slightly unsure of what to do, feeling a bit emasculated, especially after the crying session he had earlier. Yet he did not attempt to get out of the other's grasp, instead held onto him. He rested his head against the other's shoulder. It felt so nice to be held this way. Tenebris covered his mouth as suddenly a different sensation build in his pants. Without any warning, Tenebris shuddered slightly in the grasp of the other man. He let out a soft sound between a moan and a groan behind his hands, the inside of his pants becoming sticky.

When the other man put him down on the mattress, he quickly turned on his side. He was afraid the other man would be grossed out if he found out what had been going on, So he just grabbed his ratty sleeping bag and pulled it over his body. He whispered softly at the other male, afraid to look him in the eye: ''Thank you." He would clean up later, when the man wasn't looking, for now he was fine laying there in discomfort.

Shiloh was well aware of many things the other man tried to hide from him but he made sure not to give any hint of noticing and it was like that from the very moment they met. He doubted he could gain anything by pointing out something that his friend was clearly trying to conceal and pretending to be clueless made everything much less awkward. So once he'd placed the man down on the mattress he lingered by him only long enough to smile softly at his thanks and then turned his attention to something else.

Returning to his things spread out across the floor of the small bunker Shiloh wasn't annoyed by the mess and didn't even as much as frown. The other man fixing his knife justified both spilling the contents of his backpack and ruining one of his pens, it was confirmation that things were alright between them and that is partially why he appreciated the act so much.

Silence settled in the room and while he gathered his belongings Shiloh relaxed, finally feeling comfortable and safe, aware that they were sheltered from everything while inside this small room. The supplies he knew could be useful to the other man he placed where they could both reach them easily and what remained after that, the tools and subjectively useless objects he owned, were placed back into his back pack. He decided there was an up side to all of his things being poured out of his pack because he now had a chance to arrange them more neatly and he made sure to memorize where everything was placed.

A while later when everything was given a new proper place, Shiloh lowered himself on the second, unoccupied mattress. With a small sigh that signalled his body loosing some of the strain left in his structure he sunk into the soft, comfortable mass underneath him and closed his eyes for a moment. Only then he remembered he'd forgotten something important and despite having nearly fallen asleep he forced himself to glance over at the other man and speak.

-"Also, I don't think I've mentioned, my name is Shiloh."
