As for fantasy I've heard great things about Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. series by Lynn Flewelling, and Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. by Maggie Stiefvater. I can't really vouch for either of these though since I haven't read them, and for TRC the M/M romance supposedly doesn't happen until the third book or something, so it might only be a sub-plot.
