Touken Ranbu gets to have two anime adaption

It has been revealed earlier on a stage event at AnimeJapan, that DMM online browser game, Touken Ranbu Online, gets to have two anime adapted from it.

The first adaption (refer to the left of picture) would be premiere on this year, October 2016. It is titled as Tōken Ranbu: Hanamaru. Doga Kobo would be the studio that will be directing this series.

 

The second adaption (refer to the right of picture) will be broadcast in 2017, titled tentatively as Tōken Ranbu, and producing by ufotable.

 

Touken Ranbu Online Game, is a game where the player would be referring as saniwa, and the famous swords of Japan history will be personification as bishōnen, where players can train them.

This game also aspired various manga, and also stage play and musical adaption.

It has been confirmed that the original seiyuus that voiced Yamatonokami Yasusada (The one with blue clothes) and Kashuu Kiyomitsu (The one with red clothes), the two main characters in this anime, would have the same seiyuus in this Hanamaru anime.
