Name: Horos Valkirie Age: Unknown (Human form: 18yrs) Height: 5'8" Weight: 140lbs Eye color: Golden Hair Color: Gray Position: Seme Sexuality: Straight (However, once he's fallen in love he doesn't care their sex.) Creature: Peryton Personality: Joking, free bearing, outgoing, adventurous, simple, sometimes idiotic Likes: Fish, Grass, sun, sleeping, running Dislikes: The god who created him, his own herd, those who outcast him Bio: Horos was created by the goddess of the hunt, Artemis. She created him with several others, creating one herd. PLacing them in the mountainsides, Horos and his herd were forced to live upon the mountains, forced to hunt those weaker then them. In doing so, they hunted down humans, other creatures, their own kind. Horos was created as the outcast of his herd. He was the 'ugliest' the weakest. Where others could fly, he couldn't despite the large size of his wings. Because of this, the herd hunted him, casting him out and off the mountain. He hated his herd, resented the goddess who created him. He left the mountain, finding a place where he could live freely without anyone bothering him. Other: He has the strange ability of using water elements in his human form. However in his beast form he has unusual facial markings that distinguished him above the rest of his herd. Living in under the rule of the Gods came as a bad experience or a good experience. Where some beings lived happily being loved by the Gods, others lived under scrutiny. They were mocked by their own kind, forced to run and hide in the shadows, the Gods left them to rot on their own. Such a life was what had happened to Horos. As a Peryton, Horors' kind was created to defend the mountainsides of Greek. To scare off the humans who threatened to make ruins out of the mountains. Only the chosen ones watched the mountainside of Mount Olympus. As half deer, half eagle, Peryton's were meant to be the ungraceful, prided beings that protected and guarded the more majestic beings from the outside world. However, Horos had been born different. His markings were never the same as his herd's and his wings, those larger then most, forbid him from flying. Horos was forced to the bottoms of the mountain, watching over even his own herd from enemies of the Peryton. One day however, a retched stormy day, Horos' herd had come to the decision that he was no longer needed. He ate some meats, where the rest only ate grass and twigs, his markings were different and offended the herd, and his unable to fly caused them problems. Horos was nothing but a burden to them, so that day he was chased out. Forced off his mountain by his own herd. He spent days on the ground, out of their sight. Unfortunately, he found himself more accessible to being attacked by predators. He ran then, ran for two days and two nights until his mountain was no longer seen from the distance. Horos found an unclaimed hill and spent his days living upon it. Still being open to attacks, Horos had to learn how to defend himself and soon he was managing to live on the lonesome hill. During his days of fighting to live, Horos began to loathe his herd. He wanted to learn how to fly, to teach them he was still one of them, if not better. But as he continued to think, he soon realized it wasn't entirely his herd he loathed. It was the Goddess who created him. Artemis, the Goddess of the hills, forests, and mountains, had created him outright as an outcast. His thoughts turned dark, his desires even darker. Soon Horos found himself traveling once more. For days and nights on end, he traveled to Mount Olympus. He would declare war against his Goddess and finally live without her mocking him. When he had reached the mountain, he'd already been weakened. Sickness had reached him, he was starving and thirsty. Ignoring his pain, Horos made sure he could at least see his Goddess. However, after waiting for three nights for his Goddess to see him, Horos past from the sickness. That night his Goddess did in fact visit him. She cast his body back to the Earth from where he came, and she sent his soul in to the great expand of life. The night starry sky had now become his home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thousands upon thousands of years later, Horos was given life again. But he was no longer born as the great beast he once was. However, after years of life, he discovered he could in fact take that form in secret and only at certain times of the night. Horos was now an eighteen year old high school student. From the first day he was born, to the present, Horos was given a new chance at life. He was born with unnatural gray hair, golden colored eyes, sharp ears. Horos had an unnatural love for the water, and even well in the winter, he found himself swimming, unable to get cold no matter how long he swam. Horos had been considered an oddball when he was a young child, being jaunted at and picked on. Luckily, with his new life, came a new attitude, and Horos quickly brushed off the other children. Teasing went on well into middle school, and Horos developed a new view on life. He joked all the time, caused problems for teachers and other adults. He became popular in his class and was always surrounded by those who 'liked' him. His attitude stayed the same, even when he became a high schooler. However, it did grow a little darker. He got piercings on his ears, two on either side, a tongue piercing that no one had known about until he laughed out in school one day, and he had a single tattoo on his shoulder. To him the tattoo was just some cool design he had come up with, but little did he know that the tattoo actually outlined his beast markings. No one knew about the tattoo, even in the summer he wore short sleeved shirts. But he was fine with them knowing everything else. Horos was considered a delinquent in the eyes of his school, possibly even his parents. But his attitude kept him going. He was smart, though sometimes an idiot, outgoing and always joked around, his new life gave him the attention that he had always wanted. Though he didn't know what his past had brought him, he liked the attention he got in his new life. The only memories he had of his past, were the nightmares he's wake up from at night. They were strongest if he slept in his beast form. But they came almost every night. Just like last night, he hadn't slept a single wink, and now as he sat in class, nearly falling asleep. He tried his hardest to stay awake, but he soon found himself falling completely asleep upon his desk. The dream had been so vivid, as if he were actually there being mocked at. But he couldn't put his finger on it. Though he knew what the creature in the dream was. For he could turn into it on occasion.
virtualoo
Name: Fieros Hotano Age: unknown Height: 5ft 6 Weight:130 Eye color: Emerald Green Hair color: red Position:Uke Creature: Phoinex Personality: Reserved, shy, lovable and trusting when he is comfortable with someone Likes: Sweets, warmth, small animals Dislikes; The cold weather, insects, his creators Bio; Created by Zeus, he served more as a symbol of vitality and life, looked on as a symbol more than a living creature. His life seems to have little value beyond a symbol as he can just rebirth again. On the run, he wants to live a life of peace and serenity. Other: in his human form, he can wield the element of fire and I'm beast form his wings are laced with a few golden feathers -------------------------------------------- In the times of Ancient Greece, there lived the Gods and the bounty of mythical creatures roaming the land. People worshiped the Gods as various symbols to their real lives, the mythical creatures and their gods holding many stories and many fables to explain the various ways of life. There was one such creature that symbolizes an eternal flame, an eternal life and rebirth into a new life upon death. This creature was the phoenix, a flaming bird that upon death would be reborn again. Fieros was a phoenix in a never ending cycle of rebirth. He would serve the gods and be reborn when his fragile current life had ended. It was never easy for him and he felt as if his life almost did not have value since he was going to easily be reborn again in a rather short time. If he was not regarded as a pet, he was regarded only as a symbol of eternal life, the gift not as appreciated as it should be. One day, after a long battle with one of the Gods many creatures gone out of control, his life had ended but his life was not renewed instantly. His rebirth took far longer, for reasons unknown, than he had anticipated. His soul or his eternal being was now left adrift...Waiting....Waiting...... ************************************************** It was not until what felt like eternity that he was reborn again into a new life in this now modern world. While he could take his old form again at rare times, he now held the form of an 18 year old high school student. As a child, he knew he loved the warmth of heat and the sight of fire. Fire always gave him this comfort, liking to watch things burn and play around with it. Looked down on as the weird child who liked fire, he never had many people talk to him, thinking him weird or a delinquent child. This didn't change much as he was growing up, more people taking interest in him for his odd hobbies. He was often asked to help with campfires growing up, everyone wanting to see the guy who can do nifty tricks and things with fire. Fire spinning on long sticks was his favorite, it being the one time he liked to show off. They didn't know how easy and natural it came to him..of his almost given at birth talent. There were these dreams he had growing up..or were they nightmares? It felt as if everything would suddenly turn dark and then a piercing light blinding him..sometimes he was soaring through the sky in this sea of fiery red..It was scary but he did like them sometimes...but that was rare. Without his parents knowledge, he once got a tattoo of flaming wings running across his upper back, this not pleasing his parents at all. It took a long time for his parents to get off his back after that, seeing as it would not change anything since it had already been done. Fieros was bored in class and kept sneaking doodles onto the corners of his sketchbook. He liked drawing birds and small animals, birds being a more dominant part of his doodles. Hmmm..He would have to add more color to these later..it was hard to color in his doodles in the middle of class. At least it was better than sleeping in class today like he did sometimes..looking over and seeing another guy who had fallen asleep right on the desk. YellowPerch
Horos tried with all his might to stay awake, to listen to the monotone voice of his teacher and the grids and fractions of algebra. However, his hard work lost in the end, and soon he had fallen asleep atop his desk. He hadn't even bothered hiding himself, since there would be no point after his head had slammed hard on the wooden desk. His eyes had been so heavy with sleep, that when he did hit his head, he never rose. Those students who sat around him giggled Nd chuckled, hiding their amusement in his troubles. Unfortunately their attempts at hiding didn't get them anywhere when the teacher spun around in anger and began to shout. "What's going on!? No goofing in class! You there, turn around and face the front! And Valkirie! Pay attention!" Horos ignored the teachers calls, which needed the man more. Some students tried waking Horos, gaining his attention before the teacher became enraged. The guy was always hated by the student body, never being the kind laid back teacher they all liked. Mr. Haynes, that was his name. The Haynes, a man blessed with the Halloween demons name. Mr. Haynes strode long and hard over to Horos' desk, when he reached it he watched the lumber male for a few moments before, with all his might, slamming his hand against the desk, forcing a loud slapping sound against the wood. The force and sound woke Horos in an instant and groggily looked around the class. He looked up to find Mr. Haynes staring at him trough his thick glasses. Had he been the demon in flesh, his eyes would be red, but luckily this man's eyes were brown. Horos stared back at the man, not wanting to give in to the intense stare the man tried to play off. He didn't intimidate easily and with a sigh he stood up, grabbing his bag from over his chair. "Don't say it, I get. I'll be out of your hair in a moment. Oh wait..." And with that he left the room, chuckling to himself. What made him start laughing was the 'joke' he made about Mr. Haynes' hair, seeing that the man was bald, it made the joke all the better apparently. virtualoo
Fieros sat right next to the other, watching as the other student was ever so slowly falling asleep right in the middle of class. Oh dear..the professor was not going to like this at all. Maybe he can help the guy before the professor yelled at him for sleeping in the middle of class. He was not fond of the professor and always tried to be on his best behavior. He could not imagine standing up to a professor for any reason, professors could easily change grades to fail him out of school. Well..maybe he was exaggerating but at minimum he got his work done in class and didn't sleep. It was too late to help him as Mr.Hayes was already looming over the desk, the slamming on the desk enough to startle him. It held so much power and force, as if to strike fear into any weak willed heart. The student spoke with such an insult to the professor, a sly insult on the baldness of the teacher. He looked on in shock, not sure how he should feel about this. He...Did he just...? Sitting stunned, he watched as the student left the class. With a quiet excuse to use the bathroom, he went to pursue the student. "That..well..that was something" He said, hoping to catch up with him. YellowPerch
Horos yawned as he made his way down the hall. He didnt mean to fall asleep in class, but after his little sleep and the monotone teaching of Mr. Haynes, he couldnt help but fall asleep. Horos stopped a moment to stretch out his arms, peering out the large window and looking down into the court yard. Delinquent students were sitting there, easily smoking or trading smokes. He scoffed at them before walking on. He was a delinquent himself, considering his personality towards authority figures, but he'd never go so far as those students had. Horos was on his way to the principles office, but with a sudden thought changed his mind. Why would he have to go to the office? He was passing his classes, and had all the credits needed for graduation. So with a hop on either foot he shifted down a different hallway which lead outside. He stopped however at hearing footsteps behind him. And they certainly weren't that of a teacher's. So he stopped and looked behind him, finding the student who had sat next to him in class behind him. ((Thats alright. Sometimes i reply on my phone. virtualoo
Fieros was in a sow pursuit behind the other, watching as the other seemed to walk toward the general direction of the principals office. Was he going to turn himself into the principal for doing the things he did to the teacher? It seemed very unlikely that he would now since he turned right away from the office. He..really was rebellious, well at least to him. He did not know much about the other but he seemed like one of those rough and tough kind of guys at first glance. It was all cut short when the other had turned around to look at him, probably hearing him follow him for so long without realizing it. "I mean..I could never do something like that. Wanted to make sure you were okay too...You seemed uh..real exhausted..and stuff.." Fieros tried to find the right words to say to a total stranger. Well..this was not totally awkward at all. "Good to see you're fine and well I am going to go to the library now so bye" He said in at attempt to get out of this awkward situation before this could get any worse. YellowPerch
Horos watched the other closely as he stammered and tried to find the words to say. Horos couldn't help but let his gaze fall to the others feet and back up again. He wasn't implying anything, it was just what he did to other guys. However when the other tried to turn away and run off, Horos took the opportunity to trap his prey. "Whoa there! What's the rush!? You look like a fun fella. What's the name? Busy? Of course your not, because your here talking To me instead. Listen come with me. Let's go do something fun. Like the arcade or something. Isn't it boring here?" Horos didn't let up and instead continued to badger his new friend and get him to come with him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
virtualoo
Fieros was just about to take his first few steps away before he suddenly found himself being pulled back and turned around. He found himself looking right at the other who asked a long string of questions. "My name..is Fieros" Fieros answered at first and needed a moment to process the next question. "You mean like....cut school?!" Fieros said with wide eyes. If anyone caught them cutting school, he will get in serious trouble. "Won't we get caught? We can get in serious trouble" He said with a little panic despite his own curiosity of what it was like to cut. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. YellowPerch
"Fieros, huh? I'm Horos! Nice to meet ya!" Horos' grin grew wider as the other spoke his concern of skipping class. But there was no way Horos was going to let him go now that he had captured him. It wasn't everyday he had someone to speak to like this. "Yes we're going to skip. And we'll be totally fiiiiine. It's not like we're smoking like those shits out there." Horos spoke up and pointed with his thumb out the window towards the courtyard. Then he grabbed the others shoulder again. "Now come on! Let's go!" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
virtualoo
Fieros listened to the others point about the kids smoking in the courtyard. He...had a point. He could always say he was sick and that would not be bad and underage smoking was illegal! But it was still cutting class....Maybe just this one time? "I mean...I guess...If it was just one time..." Fieros spoke up quietly as the other was grabbing his shoulder. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.
YellowPerch
Horos grew in excitement, glad he made a friend out of the whole situation. "Sweet dude, then let's go! I know this great arcade game that uses a virtual reality helmet. It's so cool!" Horos dragged the other with him as they walked down the hall and towards the door. He chose a side door rather then the front door for obvious reasons. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
virtualoo
Fieros heard the arcade and tried to focus on that rather than the idea that he was cutting out of class, not even class the rest of the school day right now. A virtual reality helmet? That did sound fun...Maybe it would be a fun game. He let himself be dragged along by Horos as they soon left the building. It was kind of a chilling thrill to leave the building like this...It was kind of a scary kind of exciting. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. YellowPerch
Horos peeked out over the court, checking for classmates or teachers. They would also have to make a mad dash so that people couldn't see them clearly through the windows. Horos grinned mischievously and turned back to Fieros. "Ready!? Man this is exciting!" virtualoo
"I'm terrified..." Fieros said as he looked around and hoped he did not get caught. He had faith though that he could run fast enough to not be seen. He had to think of it as if he was flying really fast, flying away from all this trouble. "I will follow you..." He said quietly, preparing himself to run.
YellowPerch
"Great!" Horos was just about to take off out of the building he stopped himself and turned back towards Fieros. He lifted his arm back behind his head and scratched at it. "Hey, ya know....thanks for....thanks for coming with me. Really." Horos let a smile graze his features, unlike the grins he was sporting before Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
virtualoo
Fieros felt all embarrassed when the other seemed so happy to be talking to him. "I don't really know to say...No one really talks to me like this...Hehe. This is crazy.." Fieros said with a small laugh and a smile of his own. "I would not do this if I didn't trust you a little so...let's be careful okay?" He asked, hoping that Horos knew what he was doing and they would not get caught. YellowPerch
Was it possible Fieros was the same as Horos? Was he as alone as he himself was? The thought crossed Horos more then once and the fact that they were united together like this felt awesome. For the first time he could truly make a friend. Not like the so called friends he had in his previous life. Those nightmares still haunted him today. Horos smiled one last time before turning back to the door and taking one last look around. With the coast clear he grabbed Fieros' hand and booked it out the door. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
virtualoo
Fieros let the other take his hand and before he knew what was happening, they were running away from the school. This...was so crazy! Insane! But someone was talking to him and even wanted to hang out with him at an arcade when he could have just escaped the school on his own easily without worry. He laughed to himself at this and it only made him run even faster. Even if this was just one time, it would be fun to enjoy having someone that was like a friend. YellowPerch
Horos ran. He ran and ran, even despite the far away voices of someone yelling at them to get back there. He didn't stop though. He didn't want to stop. Horos had skipped class, had skipped school before, but it never put such excitement in his heart before. He'd gone to this arcade plenty of times. But never had he brought someone like him along. Someone who was as alone as he was. Horos laughed as they left the school grounds completely. virtualoo
He knew he would regret this later if he was caught, but it was exciting to be able to skip school in such a fashion. Fieros really did want to try that arcade too, wanting to try the virtual reality helmet the other had mentioned. And he would be there with someone...fun. Enjoy it for now before the other thought of him as some crazy freak...enjoy another persons company without him knowing about the strange things. Hopefully it would not come to this..."What game first..?" he asked quietly..
YellowPerch
Horos looked back slightly at the others question, then turned back around so that he could watch where he was going. "We'll try the racing game first! I heard you win a prize if you can beat the top rank player on the board. But for the last two months no one has been able to beat the player. So we're going to give it a shot!" Horos laughed out again and dodged someone walking out of a small store as he ran past it. virtualoo
"A racing game? I suppose that does involve some strategy and timing.." He said as he followed close to the other, staying at his side. It made him wonder what the prize was and how high the score must be to not have been beaten in two months. "I hope I win then...I will give it my best shot!" He smiled in a more sincere way as he felt more relaxed.
YellowPerch
Horos laughed. "That's the spirit! We'll beat that score and win the prize for sure!" The arcade wasn't that far from the school. In fact it was about a ten minute walk. Of course with them running they reached it much quicker. Horos ran through the doors and stopped to catch his breath. "Man....it's been....long since I've.....ran like that...." virtualoo
"It was like I was flying...but on my feet...and stuff.." He said in between breaths as he realized how hard it was to run so fast. Flying was better but running with such purpose was so exhilarating. Once he caught his breath, he asked "What is the prize anyway? Like a stuffed animal or something like that...?" He asked with a curious head tilt.
YellowPerch
Horos tried to catch his breath and found himself taking deeper breaths. He stood straight back up again and wiped the sweat away from his chin. "To be honest I don't know. They've never actually said what the prize was. Just that you got one whenever you beat the top ranked player." Horos looked around at the games then back at Fieros. "Lets play all of them!" Though they wouldn't actually play all the games there, the thought of having someone to do just that excited Horos. Just how long had he been alone since he had actually found someone to talk to?
