Police/Detective/Crime Roleplay suggestion

Hello! I'm looking for a RP-partner or two and I have two ideas for rp's I want to see if anyone wants to join. I'm looking for an active partner with quality posts, no one-liners and at least good English. I make mistakes so I don't expect anyone to be perfect. I'm open to constructive criticism. Always happy to improve.

 

Anyway, first idea:

 

MC is a detective on the case of a string of strange murders/robberies/frauds, whatever might fit. He's a by-the-book-kind of guy, quick thinking, calm and collected. He's fairly new at the precinct and also as a detective so he wants to do a good job.

 

I'm open for whatever role YC might have but some ideas are;

 

A crime boss that knows MC, maybe they went to the same school at one time or hooked up in a bar at one time, and maybe YC gets obsessed with MC or need his helps since YC is a victim of a crime or tries to get MC to become corrupt.

 

A corrupt detective/partner that is on the payroll of a criminal MC is after. Maybe YC decides to bring him to the “dark side” or simply works to get the bad guy off the hook when needed.

 

Imprisoned criminal, thief/killer/con artist or other suggestion that MC needs as a consultant to help solve the crime/s. Mabye YC agreed to reduce his sentence and just for the fun of it. Something like the show 'white collar'..

 

Second idea, with abilities:

 

MC is a consultant for the police, he has the strange ability to touch items/objects and sense the intention left behind on them. At least if there is a strong intention. But to the police he says he's psychic, since it's simpler.

 

YC can be the disbelieving, or believing, detective that mc is partnered with. Yc is a good detective but there's been a series of murders (perhaps) that yc hasn’t been able to solve and therefor mc shows up. Or maybe YC is a detective that is also a serial killer, like the tv-series hannibal, and wants to play with mc.

 

Or if you have some other idea for YC's, please feel free to come up with something of your own if you want to. I really like this last idea even tough it feels a bit dark

 

I like RP-partners with strong characters, usually with common traits for seme or seke (MC is seke), but people who want to be uke characters are also welcome but I still want strong, determined and “go-getting” characters to join. If that's alright. Feel free to contact me if you have ideas or questions or want to join or maybe rp something else.

I want this to be a kind of dark mystery, hot and messy thriller/drama warning also for blood/death and other twisted things is probably good..

Why don't you create some basic character sheet and PM me, make it was rich or basic as you want to, and let me see what you had in mind for your character.

 

As I wrote, you're welcome to be creative with this. YC can like or dislike MC, believe or not believe in the whole 'I'm psychic' part, maybe grow to find him interesting or wanting to prove him fake. Obsessive or not, bored and wanting to 'play a game?', maybe catch other killers because YC has some sort of moral code that makes sense to him? The choices are endless

 

Also, I figure this takes place in some made up locations in America. My idea for the first part is that they meet up due to a high profile child abduction, if that's okay? Maybe the second in a short time. YC can be local police or FBI or… something like that.
