The person who tells the riddle will have to post it again, in at least, every page by summarising the past questions/answers asked by other users. Only yes/no questions can be answered. Then, the “winner” will get to post his/her riddle next! Naturally, the purpose is to have fun, so let’s not spoil it by looking for the answer in the internet, yea? I can understand that it can be quite a hassle, which is why I will volunteer to ask the first riddle and see how long the thread stays active ^.^ ________________________________ "It was a dark stormy night and a couple were in a car racing madly through a foreign city. The car broke down and the husband had to go get help from someone who spoke his language. He was afraid to leave his wife alone in the car so he pulled up the windows and locked the car before leaving. When he came back, the car was in the same state as he had left it but his wife was dead, there was blood on the floor and there was a stranger in the car. What happened?" I assume the car is still locked and so the question is how the stranger got inside. .. hmmm .. i guess this is wrong but. Did the wife let in the sranger, who then locked the door from the inside? Seeking the silent waves, the captain decides to take a shower. He keeps his Rolex and diamond studded gold bracelet on the shelf and goes for a shower. When he returns back, he finds both the watch and bracelet missing. He immediately calls the four crew members and asks them what they were doing during that duration. Following are the answers: 1. The Cook: I was in the kitchen, making bacon sandwiches for everybody. 2. The engineer: I was in the generator room, checking the generator. 3. The housekeeper: I saw that the flag hoisted on the ship was upside down, so I went to correct it. 4. The second housekeeper: I was tired and taking a quick nap. The captain immediately knew who the thief was. Can you tell? Edit! I can ad that The Cook, Engenineer, and both house keepers are not Japanese The people who works on the ship comes from different countries, but i deleted that so no one here would feel "stereotyped". Well, I don't see how a housekeeper would have anything to do with the flag, and also, since they are now returning, it's impossible that no one would have noticed before that the flag is upside down. I suppose the flag should be hoisted at all times. A man was found dead with a cassette recorder in one hand and a gun in the other. When the police came in, they immediately pressed the play button on the cassette. He said "I have nothing else to live for. I can't go on," then the sound of a gunshot. After listening to the cassette tape, the police knew that it was not a suicide, but a homicide.
