munechika
Today was sunny, no one should be cooped up inside while the weather shines down like a blessing to its people! So why, pray tell, was Sada inside? The simple reason was sunflowers, but more specifically, drawing them. The school didn't have cameras for rent, and he obviously didn't have one himself, so he figured painting his beautiful flowers was the next best thing. The school did have an art room, and surely they could spare a canvas and some paint for a guy right? The beauty of his plants finally blooming against the background of a sunny day, that was the kind of image he wanted to immortalize. If he were to be truthful, he could even say he needed to as a... a moral obligation. But first, finding the place. Clubs were still going on by now, so the door wouldn't be locked, he just... had to get there. Was it this way? Or—nope, dead end. That way then? A left turn and checking the label of each door along the hall until— "Found you!" Trying the knob and breaking out in a grin as it turned and opened for him, Sada called out, "Can I borrow some paint? All I need is yellow, green, and brown. Oh, and of course a canvas too, but I can do without the easel." Probably? He didn't want to take too much, so he figured it was best to start minimalist. Caught up in his own agenda, Sada didn't realize he wasn't talking to a group of people. Just one lone student that drew his attention right away. "Huh? Where's everyone else?" Were they hiding? virtualoo
Another day at art club..Riko thought as he walked silently down the familiar path to the art room in the far part of the school. A few turns here..a few turns there...and he was here. No surprise..the art room was as quiet as it was usually. The very few members that were a part of the club usually were too busy doing other extracurricular activities to come to art club. Riko was content like this anyway, he could fully enjoy the silence and the peace of art and the art room when no one was in there. Riko started to set up a canvas, thinking a nice sunset in a park setting would be a nice thing to paint. He started to set up a canvas on one of the art rooms easels and look for the color paints he needed. It looked like he would need to mix some colors to get the exact shade of yellows and blues that he would want to use for the sky. Just as he was about to get a small stick to mix the paints he wanted, one kid burst into the room asking for paint. He was asking for paints and then asked where everyone was. "It's just me.." Riko finally spoke up, adjusting his glasses. He went to look for the colors for this guy, wondering what he was going to use them for but he did not ask. munechika
Sada blinked. Just him? And here he thought art was a pretty popular hobby. There sure were a lot of supplies for one lone member, and... could clubs run with just one participant? He couldn't join gardening club until this year because he was the only one interested, but maybe art was more of a staple activity. He would have concerned himself more with appearing humble and respectful if there were more people to criticize, but as the single student got up and started looking through paints (for him, right?), Sada couldn't poking his nose around the room. There were stacks of papers, brushes, boxes and boxes of pencils, and paint wasn't only on canvases; it dotted the tabletops as well. The light-haired boy crouched down and rested his elbows on a desk that help little wooden dolls striking poses. "Hey, what do these do?" He poked an arm, and it moved. Face lighting up, he reconstructed the whole thing to make a yoga pose he saw on pamphlets often, a tree or something? "Do you use these?"
virtualoo
Riko looked through the paint cabinet, having just the other day organized all of the paints by color. If they are organized by color, you know what you have and what you need. This was an efficient system he thought would be more beneficial and easier to manage for the art club. He searched the shelves for each color that was needed for whatever the other needed them for to paint. Would he stay in the room with them? He would prefer that but couldn't find the words to ask him. Once Riko found the colors for the other student, he set them on a nearby tabletop. He didn't know what shade of each color he wanted so he got the basics of each one. Riko looked over when the other student had asked a question, seeing him move the figures. "Those are for painting still life and to help with the basics formation of the human body for sketching.." He spoke quietly, adjusting his glasses before getting his board for his own painting. He slowly worked with his red and yellow to get a nice shade of orange.
