Bittersweet (Zombie and Rin) [18+]

Elliot found himself smiling when his nose was kissed, looking up at his boyfriend quietly. "Okay." He muttered out a reply, moving his head up to press their lips into a gentle kiss. He brought a hand to the back of Suzaku's neck, lightly running his fingers over it as he closed his eyes and tried to enjoy the kiss as much as humanly possible.

Suzaku closed his eyes as soon as their lips met and slightly smiled into the kiss. He tenderly enjoyed the taste of his lover's lips, before he opened his own and gave permission to enter. Somewhere in the middle, the brunette gently bit Elliot's lower lip, ere he licked over it in an apologizing manner.

Leaning more in, tilting his head a little bit more to the right, while his elbows supported him on the table and cats confusedly meowed in the background.

Elliot let out a quiet, low grunt as his lip was bitten, while his tongue made way towards Suzaku's lips, somewhat shyly prodding inside. It'd been such a long time since he last enjoyed a kiss... Especially one as long as this. The man leaned into the kiss a bit more, lowering his hand slightly, sliding it down the other's neck, while his free hand he placed on top of his boyfriend's hip, lightly caressing it as well. There was nothing sexual about it. He didn't want to be sexual. Maybe... Maybe when he came to trust Suza fully.

Suzaku chuckled internally when he heard the other's reaction and sped the kiss a little up, adding passion into it. He lifted one of his arms and placed his hand onto Elliot's cheek, stroking down, along the jawline, returning when meeting the chin to follow the shape of his ear. His fingers found their way through the other's hair, playfully pulling on some strands to tease his boyfriend a little.

Elliot was a bit hesitant to deepen the kiss any further, but slowly gave in, feeling shudders running down his spine at the touches to his cheek and jawline. This was probably the best kiss he's gotten in general. When his hair was pulled, Elliot's eyes opened slightly, relief flooding over him when he saw that it was still Suza. Nothing bad would happen. He dared to slide his hand up from his boyfriend's hip to his waist, curiously tracing over the small bit of bare skin that he revealed by doing so. So soft...

Suzaku leaned a little more in, pressing the other a tiny bit backwards, before he caught his tongue with his teeth and sucked on it briefly. His hand wandered down to his lover's shoulder and over the upper arm, drawing a circle through the clothes with his index finger. The other was too sweet. Suza really loved the shyness, especially since he wasn't used to it.

Elliot couldn't get himself to bite the other at all. That wasn't him. He was too soft and sweet for that kind of stuff. Probably why he was so hesitant about sex, too. He let out a low, somewhat displeased hum when his tongue was sucked on, slowly slipping his hand a bit higher up, gently stroking the soft skin underneath Suza's shirt. His skin was covered in goosebumps by now. It felt great, the kiss, but it was a lot. Perhaps more than he would've liked to start with... Though he didn't really want to pull away. If this was what Suza wanted, he'd continue the kiss until the other pulled away.

The lack of oxygen eventually parted them. Suzaku exhaled through his nose and pulled away after licking over Elliot's lower lip, leaning only a little backwards, before he looked into the other's face with a curious look. "Did I overdo it? I always overdo stuff. That is a really bad habit." The brunette explained with a transparent pink shimmer on his cheeks. After all, he didn't want to accidentally force his boyfriend to things he didn't like.

Elliot had to admit, he was a little bit relieved when the kiss ended. He could finally relax. Pulling his hand away, he placed it on Suza's hip again, looking up at him shyly. "No, no, don't worry." He smiled, though he was quite obviously flustered - and nervous. His cheeks were a lot redder than Suza's, his gaze darting away in embarrassment. He wanted to be able to do things like this without any hesitation, but he was still careful about it. Marcus left too many scars on him for him to be okay.

"..okay, if you say so." Suzaku answered, still furrowing his eyebrows in worry. Why did Elliot look away if it was fine? Or was something else bothering him?

 

"Y'know, you can tell me if something concerns or makes you feel uneasy," he offered, lazily laying his arms around the other's neck. "Also about Marcus, if you like."

 

Ugh. How badly he wanted to kill him.

Elliot flinched visibly at the mention of his ex-boyfriend's name. "I'm fine. Really." He muttered out quietly, both his hands placed lightly over Suzaku's hips. He still wasn't looking at him. He didn't want to talk about Marcus. He wanted to completely erase that man from his head. Forever. Leaning forward with a quiet sigh, Elliot pressed his forehead against his lover's shoulder, lightly wrapping his arms around his waist instead. Just for a little bit. He just... He felt like he needed a hug.

"Shhhh, it's alright," Suzaku whispered, laying his arms around his lover, stroking his back up and down with his right hand. "It's okay... Really," he added softly. "If you want... I could spend a night at your's once? And you can always come over. One phone call and I will drive to your house. And please do me the favour and really call me. Don't hesitate."

Elliot pulled Suza a bit closer, his hug tightening as his back was stroked. "Yeah... I will..." He muttered out quietly, halfheartedly. He could never do it, even if Suzaku insisted. It would just make him feel like a burden. Not that he wasn't being one right now, anyway. "Thanks." He added softly, and pulled away, his hands lingering on his boyfriend's sides. "You... Do the same. If you ever need me, that is." Elliot spoke, looking into the other's eyes. He was trying to be strong, he really was.

"Don't worry. I will," Suzaku assured smiling, while he stroke through his lover's hair with one hand. "Please be alright, yes? I want to make you happy." He added, stroking over the other's cheek, before he lowered his hand again. His head tilting to the side. "You deserve it. You're wonderful. Beautiful."

Elliot's lips pulled into a hesitant smile at Suzaku's last words. "I'm nowhere near as beautiful as you are." He replied, looking lovingly at the other. He truly felt at peace. At least in that moment. Who knew how long it would last. "I'll try to be happy. Really. I just... Don't know if I'll actually be able to." Elliot admitted shamefully, his gaze moving down at his hands on top of the other's hips. "I'll really try, though. I promise."

"Okay. As long as you are trying," Suzaku answered, exhaling. "Hey. Have you got some plans on the day after tomorrow, Thursday? We could head out together. We could have a Picknick. What do you think? And if we do it in the local park in the evening, barely someone will be there to interrupt us."

Elliot looked up shyly, a smile tugging at his lips again at the suggestion. "I'd love to. It sounds great." He replied softly, moving one hand to take Suza's into his own. "And... Maybe you wanna come over tomorrow? We could watch a movie, get some popcorn..." He trailed off, gently stroking Suzaku's hand with his thumb. He wanted to spend time with the other. As much as possible. Suzaku knew how to calm him down efficiently.

"Of course we can." Suzaku smiled brightly when Elliot took his hand and stroked it. It gave him the feeling of really being wanted, needed, liked. Yeah, he didn't even need the other to love him, it was already a rare thing to be liked.

 

"How about we watch a nice comedy film? I love those. And if you want, I could spend the night. If it doesn't bother you, that is." He added with a shrug. "After all, I don't want you to be uncomfortable." Not everybody liked having someone sleep in their house randomly.

Elliot was so glad that Suza liked his idea. As he mentioned sleeping over, he stiffened a little bit, unsure about that just yet. "I... I don't know..." He muttered out, looking down at their hands, squeezing his boyfriend's a little bit tighter. "I'm sorry." He felt the need to apologize yet again. Why did he have to be such a fucking mess? Couldn't he be normal for once? This was his boyfriend. Why wouldn't he be okay with him sleeping over? "I mean... I just... Maybe we'll just... See tomorrow?" He suggested hesitantly.

"If it's uncomfortable for you, then I will not. I can drive home after the movie," Suzaku said, frowning a little. "Not everybody likes having someone over for the night. That's just your dislike and that I will accept. There is nothing to be sorry for." He added, stroking over Elliot's hand with his thumb lovingly. Maybe that would calm the other down a little.

Elliot sighed quietly, only looking up at the other when his hand was stroked. "I'm just not sure yet." He admitted quietly. He was so nervous and hesitant about their relationship, though he really didn't want to fuck it up. Even more, though, he didn't want to be forced into things like sex. Marcus had done that so many times before, he wasn't sure if he could even have sex anymore. "I-I do like you, though. Really. I guess I'm just a little scared." He added softly, letting a sigh part his lips again.

"Scared of what? I promise I am no serial killer," the brunette answered, a little insecure. Whatever fears the other had, he couldn't do anything about it anyway. They had roughly four days left but they could spend them together during the day only as well. Suzaku had no preferences regarding that. He just thought maybe it would calm Elliot's ghosts if he woke up with him and not Marcus. Or alone.

Elliot managed a small smile at Suzaku's words. "I hope you're not." He chuckled quietly, looking at their connected hands. "My... Last relationship was just a complete mess." The man sighed, moving his other hand to Suza's as well, holding it in both of his now. "I'm scared of how this could end up going. And-... And I'm scared of fucking it up, too." There he was, spilling his most intimate feelings to a man he didn't even know that well yet. Was he fucking stupid?

"You can't fuck it up. And the evening will end with us falling asleep because the movie was so great that it took all our energy away," Suzaku answered. "Don't always imagine the worst." He said, using his free hand to tap on Elliot's shoulder encouragingly.

 

"I am not going to hurt you for anything, really."

"I'm sorry." Elliot muttered out quietly, feeling ashamed of himself once again. "I-... I really can't help it, you know?" He let out a weak laugh, finally looking up at the other with a hesitant, self-conscious look in his eyes. "I really hope you're not going to hurt me. I... Really like you, Suza." He admitted softly, pressing a soft kiss to his hand. He wanted to be a good boyfriend, but he felt like he was failing horribly.
