Guest juillet
I find it disturbing... i mean i just think that its unfair that yaoi love has to have like rape and death all over in dramas and anime and manga. its like the writers wants to tell us that no matter how romantic it ends tragic its no good, its wrong and its painful. why cant they end a BL drama happily without anyone diying or getting hurt? And why the rape? Cant they just hold hands, beacuse thats damn hot enough for me, love is the best thing ever and its only fair that we treated that way, why ruin it with something as horrible as rape? loving someone against their will is not love, its hate... HayatoG
I love rape i really can't get enough of it! But everyone in my family thinks I'm strange since i love rape ....but that doesn't STOP ME from reading it *muhahha*
Midou Takanori
I only like rape, if it executed correctly to my liking lol for example rape out of frustration 8D!
Suzume-san
I REALLY don't mind rape scenes...well, I just don't want it too violent and it depends on the seme. If the seme is a character that I hate so much, then YES I DO MIND :Red_fox5: And I especially like it when the uke starts to like it so much :Red_fox11: it makes me wanna squeal so loud :Red_fox7:
rodnei
I kind of get it......(kind of). Rape scenes in yaoi usually make me cringe, especially Enzai. I'm a guy, so I'm like omg omg omg but then I just try to accept it as an artistic and dark fantasy. And to me, the rapist is usually psychologically fucked in the head so it makes me feel bad for him and the one being violated. But honestly sometimes its just hot...but it depends how sadistic it is.
littlecactus
In yaoi case, most of them are forced sex, not rape. XP IRL, I despise it, and the rapist can go die in fire, but in yaoi, it depends on the storyflow and character Anyway, most people have rape fantasy (I admit I do), so rape in fiction is mostly to please the fantasy
mangamaani
Light rape is ok, but those painful and hardcore ones aren't fun to read.
chiakaiyuki
I don't really like rape... If I'm in a certain mood (twisted one) I may read it, but usualy I stay clear. Dub-con is fine, or the non-explicit, plot building kind of rape (does that exist?).
SailorRishi
I like rape scenes in yaoi. I'm also pervert lolXD. But seriously now. The rapes are not really into anime and are not represented as such. it is more the passion that is shown by it. to secret sex fantasies quite without will be partners and to the left. clear who considers himself something of a tendency to BDSM must have. I ask only one thing clear, I like rape (also live in true) but only in connection role-playing in one. everything else is off limits for me. memorex
Yeah, light rape I can accept but, I can't stand the hardcore one...It's so depressing and weird enough, I do feel sorry for 'that' fictional character...
Lulu-kun
for me, there are two kinds of rape : rape out of love (meaning he forced himself on the other because he loves him or something like that) and rape just because he wants to have sex i'm masochist and i like it i don't mind rape in yaoi, i like reading it but i prefer rape out of love more then just rape
<3Gaara
I think it is ok, but I do not like it when it is used excessively, like every chapter of a manga.
wolfiechan
Rape scenes are really exciting at first.. Though there are times that I can't stand it.. Too much pain! But, that was the past.. I find myself liking it more!! And lately, I'm getting the feeling that I maybe am a masochist.. :x So, in the end,, I love rape scenes in yaoi!! LOL (of course, it's still a case-to-case basis..) Guest FujoshiFTW
I don't really mind rape scenes. For example, the one is 'The Tyrant Who Falls In Love' was alright (when Morinaga kind of forced himself onto Sempai). I actually found it pretty cute since the uke was actually enjoying it. (Though some people say if they both enjoy it, it isn't rape XD) For the other scenes, when the uke is just all bloody and in pain, NO, JUST NO. I am sadistic at times but when it comes to these things, I would never urge them on. Just saying my opinion of course~
raniechan
I love rape scenes! Like the one in Viewfinder (the sadistic one from the first chapter) and the ones when Fei Long was raping Akihito... :banhbao8: But, indeed, the scenes in Enzai, for example, were too much for me. I couldn't bring myself to enjoy when seeing those big and ugly guys raping the poor Guys. He seemed so hopeless and those who were raping him were so sardonic and pityless. yupz, that's right! Even it's rape but if the victim seems enjoy the sex at the end and become lovers leaf3 , so it's ok.. leaf2
shirotsuki
well... it depends... if in the end the one being raped enjoys it then it is okay!! ^^ i also love when they say they don't like it but in the end they just can't stop thinking about it... eheheh xD but if it is real rape with bad feelings behind it and they end up suffering a lot because of it... in that case i don't like it!! Belita
There's no such thing as rape in yaoi!!! They all like it, just don't want to admit it at first XDDDD But later they realize it's so freaking good that they forget it was forced on them I like to see a good rape scene, turning up to be such a hot scene between two characters that the room goes up some degrees only by the intensity of it
nicicia
To me it all depends on the characters, circumstances, and whether the rape scene has an impact on the plot, and what that impact might be. In real life, being raped is no fun, and the rapist is a person with poor sense of character and value of other humans. But this is yaoi, so realism can easily be thrown out the window. If the rape victim enjoyed it, it's not really a crime, and it can turn into a very hot scene indeed, but hotness usually isn't enough for me. I need good plots and well developed characters. I think light rape is okay, or rather when one character is just being really persistent, but doesn't actually want to bring harm to the other. I can't stand the violent rape scenes. Not my cup of tea. UNLESS, the scene serves as a mean to drive the plot forward, or to develop a character and make the story deeper and darker. But I never drool over those scenes. Fear, terror, and pain is something that I like to see make intriguing plots, not hot sex. That's my opinion.
Yumikittychan
It bothers me quite a bit but that may be because I have experience sexual assault. I can't remember what the manga was called but I read one were a teenager raped a young boy because he loved him. Then in another a man rapes a young boy and by the end of the story they live happily ever after...after the young boy was raped again by two other men. Since I have experience sexual assault first hand I really have a hard time when I read about people who "love" rape scenes. And they drool over it. I'm no psychologist but I kinda wonder if those kind of people need some sort of help. I'm much more into cute stuff. Where I can saw aww a lot. The only rape scene that has not bothered me so far was in the movie Beautiful Mystery.
Jin.
I hate rape! I know some dears of mine... who were victims because of that... Even in yaoi. I hate violently rape, if it might end up a heavy disaster or trauma. I really don't care if its rape, what ends up love. Like in Koisuru Boukun. aslong it will ends up love... It's a relief right... So... thats my opinion...
Nitro+Chiral_Fan
There's a saying I found somewhere on a yaoi site that says "It's not rape... It's sex you didn't know you wanted" and as far as many rape scenes in yaoi goes, it's often the case. I like the "no means yes" type of sex becaus it eventually becomes better (as the characters fall in love) or it's just turned in such a funny was (like in Okane ga Nai and all of Kanou's introspection about how his relationships goes all wrong because he started with forced sex and then he went on dates with Ayase XD). These are good.
sakura-drops
In fanfiction I don't mind it too much. I don't love it but if it's there and it's part of the story then it's fine. I don't really like looking at it though so I wouldn't wanna read a manga if it had loads of rape scenes.

j3dmed
I don't mind it too. If the rape scene will provide a wider perspective to the movie, then so much the better. Movies are supposed to be a reflection of real life and real characters and the great thing is that fantasy will come into the picture. We have to take aside logic and just go with the flow and believe in the characters and the movie itself. Otherwise, if we think too hard, we will not enjoy the movie. Not everything is sweet, there is also pain, and rape (as many have mentioned already) in Yaoi is something altogether common.
