Chris was informed by the coach that at the end of the month, right before the HomeDance they will have a game with the Slayers and that it was important to win it. There would be different important people from the big league that will be there to see the good ones and offer them scholarships.

Starting the practice he was concentrating on the training with the boys, in order to get more that 100% out of them. They needed to perform like pro's.

Daniel spent the day playing g video games and catching up. By the time Nick was plopping back on the couch, a pizza box in one hand and two sodas in the other Daniel had practically forgotten what had been plauging him lately. Smiling at the other man he took his soda and they chatted the rest of the day passing rather quickly.

Just like Daniel had thought he didn't return home that night until late. Fishing in his pocket for his keys he unlocked the door and stepped inside. It had been a good day overall. Though he was definitely tired now.

  • 5 weeks later...

When practice was over he looked around for Daniel but there was no sign of him. That was strange even for him. he didn't saw him at school all day, and now also after practice. Something was wrong. Not thinking to much about it, he went home, being sure that he would be there, but to his surprise he wasn't.

He went to take a quick shower than sitting on the edge of his bed looking at his phone. No message, no call. What happened? he was wondering. He changed clothes and sat in bed. He didn't want to call their parents for something that maybe it was nothing. till Daniel came home he fell asleep.

It was late as Daniel dragged himself inside the house and closed the door behind him making sure he quietly re-locked the front door. Rubbing his eyes tiredly he made a move for the stairs and his room, while with Nick he had forgotten most of what had been bothering him finally reaching a state of peace. It didn't matter to him that he had skipped a full day of school or was returning home at a rather late hour. He tried to be quiet as he dropped his things just inside of his room, kicking his shoes off and closing his bedroom door.

It was after 3am according to the clock on his nightstand meaning he had been out much longer than he had originally intended. Yet... he didn't really care. It never occurred to him to message or call Chris to let him know he'd be home late. In fact, Chris hadn't crossed his mind all day since arriving at Nick's. It had been a great stress free day, no worries whatsoever. He honestly had struggled with himself coming home considering the option to stay had been given, but he started noticing that the more tired he felt the more Nick's eyes wandered over him. Even though his friend was attractive he hadn't wanted any sort of sexual interaction with him.

Looking back a little his tired mind admitted it was curious and he probably could have had a lot more fun tonight night. Though he can't say he hadn't given his old friend at least a little bit of himself they hadn't actually had sex. Daniel didn't really consider oral or a hand-job sex after all. Stripping out of his shirt and pants until he was just in his boxers he moved towards his bed more than ready to get some sleep. He had been offered the option of returning tomorrow and he very much intended on taking Nick up on the offer.

Chris heard the door of Daniel's bedroom and looked at the clock. 3 am. He sigh and turned to the other side of the bed and tried to get a sleep. Why was he so upset on Daniel he didn't know. It was just a day which he skipped it from school and didn't want to tell anyone about it. That's what he did before, so he could understand, but still. Why was he so upset? Finally he got asleep around 4 am and his clock started ringing at 6 am. At least he got 2 hours of sleep.

Next day, he got up and took a shower trying to recap what he has to do today. He needed to skip from school in order to get to the police station and ask about his family. Maybe hire a private detective to look for them. he just needed answers. There had to be more than a little note and a goodbye stuff. Was he crazy for wanting to find out? His brother Daniel wouldn't understand. Sighing he got a blue t-shirt and a pair of jeans and his backpack.

Downstairs, breakfast was already done and waiting for them on the table. Their parents were already out to work. Sitting down he started to eat reading the paper.

Daniel woke up the next morning to his alarm going off, though he was still tired with no intention of going to school today either. His plans for today were much like what he had done yesterday, he fully intended to spend the day with Nick again and keep himself occupied. School was honestly the least of his worries. Getting out of bed he moved towards the bathroom to shower, dressing in a tank top and shorts he moved down the stairs this time not even bothering to pretend to act like he was going.

He knew both of their parents had already left, he could tell because when he had looked out of his window both vehicles were gone. Entering the kitchen, he noticed Chris was sitting there and reading the paper. Stopping in the doorway he watched him for a moment, something about it reminded him awfully a lot like their father. Shaking his head, he poured himself a cup of orange juice and grabbed one of the pieces of toast off the plate on the table. “I’m heading out. See you later.” He said as he made his way towards the front door.

“I’ll be home late again. Don’t wait up.” He called over his shoulder as he left the house making sure he still had his phone and keys.

Chris was a little surprise hearing his brother talking that way. He was wondering what made him act so reckless. After all they were in high school and it was important for what they would do next in life. Narrowing his eyes, he finished eating and tried to fallow his brother but he lost him on the way. Biting his lips he turned to school but he wasn't focusing at all.

at lunch he received a call from the detective saying that he had found something about his parents and that they needed to talk. Managing to get out of school without no one to see him, he headed downtown too meet with the detective. They sat at a small bar, where he received an envelop with different documents about his real parents.

Daniel wasn't completely unaware of the fact that Chris had tried to follow him. Though he was pleased when he had lost his brother. Regardless of blood relation he was always going to refer to the slightly older man as his brother, it just seemed odd otherwise. Still as he arrived at Nick's place those thoughts let his mind. For the first few hours they just talked, then played video games so more.

Time seemed to fly by when he spent time with Nick, though Chris was still in the back of his mind. As they settled down in the living room once more after a nice lunch to watch movies his mind wandered back to his brother. Whatever this was that had got between them be head to get over and work through. Daniel knew it was really on his end that the problem resided.

Nick was just waking up heading downstairs in the kitchen in just a pair of pajama pants that were hanging on his waist, when he heard the bell on the door. He looked at the clock in the living room trying to figure out who was at that early hour. He didn't even drank his coffee yet. Opening the door scratching his eye he saw in a blurry sight the one and only friend of his.

"Daniel?" he said in surprised. "What the hell man? Its 7 o'clock in the morning" he cried making room for the other to enter.

Nick was a good looking guy, with a build up body. Not too much, but enough to dream about touching his muscles. He was better builded man than Chris.

"Want some coffee?" he asked turning on the machine for the water to get warm.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Daniel was still reading the paper after the detective was gone. He founded out that his mother was born in town and that her name was Sophia. About his father was nothing listed, only about her. It was saying that she was a 17 year old girl when she remained with child and all alone because her parents threw her out. Chris was feeling like the air wasn't enough anymore.

"Believe me. I know it's early." Daniel replied giving Nick a small smile. He wasn't surprised that the other man wasn't particularly happy with him arriving so early in the morning considering Nick didn't have to worry about school anymore. Slipping past him as he entered the home his eyes moved around the familiar area before he turned back to his friend. He had to admit, there was a draw to the other man that he knew he shouldn't have. Considering the fact that he was technically with Chris, his feelings for Nick just made things complicated.

"Coffee sounds great." Daniel said with a nod as he followed him into the kitchen. "I am sorry for arriving so early, but you know Chris would have gotten on my case if I hadn't left early. Granted it's not like he doesn't know I skipped school again." It was his senior year, though he knew he should be taking it more seriously it was hard for him to do so. Especially when he felt like there were better things he could be doing with his time.

"At least I didn't wake you up. I know how you get when someone does that." An amused look crossed his face. Having been good friends with Nick for quite a few years he knew what happened to anyone who woke the other man up. So he was happy to know that Nick had already been awake.

"Coffee sounds great."

When water was hot enough he poured the coffee in it and mix it up with a spoon than pour it in two cups. He let the cup in front of Daniel, pushing he sugar aswell in front of the boy. He was drinking it all black. It was good for his morning ritual. he leaned on the sink looking at Daniel as he was starting to speak.

"I am sorry for arriving so early, but you know Chris would have gotten on my case if I hadn't left early. Granted it's not like he doesn't know I skipped school again."

He rolled his eyes not liking when Daniel was starting to talk about Chris. Yes, he knew him. In the past they were friends, but as time passed they had different interests and they got apart. Even right now, faith was making fun of him. He liked Daniel since they were kids. At first as friends but as they got older, he found out that he liked him more than friends. And right now, apparently, Chris was in the picture too. He hatted that, and he was hatting Chris.

"Ignore him" he shrugged realizing what he said. "It's not like he didn't do the same. As far as i remember of what you told me he did the same too. So ... " he shrugged again taking a sip from his coffee.

"At least I didn't wake you up. I know how you get when someone does that."

"With you I think i would have thought of something not that violent to do," he put up a devilish smile.

Daniel knew about his feelings. He once confess to him but it was to late. He kept his eyes on Daniel, not losing his smile. He would never give up on him. He will always try until Daniel will accept him and forget about Chris.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Further on the text was saying the she moved on the country side, not too far away from here, starting a new life. The father was not listed on the documents. But at least it was a start. He could asked his real mother. Chris was starting to breath heavily letting his head rest in one hand. His head was feeling like it was about to explode.

Putting some sugar into his coffee Daniel happily took a sip of the hot liquid, a soft sigh escaping him as he relaxed back against his chair. Of course, he wasn’t unaware of the way that Nick rolled his eyes when he mentioned Chris. When they were younger the three of them got along well, he wasn’t blind to how Chris and Nick had grown apart. Now that he was in a relationship with Chris sometimes he felt like things were even tense between the two of them. That was one thing he didn’t want to happen, Daniel appreciated Nick too much to lose him over something like that.

Though… as his eyes wandered over Nick he found himself worrying less and less about Chris. Despite knowing how fucked up it sounded, there was a draw to Nick that just wasn’t around with his brother. Though he loved Chris and enjoyed the relationship they had, Nick could give him what his brother -adopted or otherwise- couldn’t. “That’s true.” Daniel mused with a small smile, Chris after all skipped a lot more than he did. Though they had spent less time at school since their first time together, which again wasn’t a good thing.

Unable to hide the smile that crossed his face at Nick’s next words and the devilish smile that crossed his friend’s face. Daniel was more than aware of how Nick felt about him, and knew that if anyone could get away with waking him without it ending terribly then it was him. Still, he had no intention of testing that, at least not today. Giving the other man a small smirk he spoke, “You know… one of these days I may have to test it.”

After a few moments of silence spread between them he spoke once more, “I hope you don’t mind dealing with me all day again. You are after all my first choice.” Alright, so he was being a bit of a flirt at this point. It was hard not to though, especially considering he had a naturally flirtatious personality. Taking another sip of his coffee, he set the warm mug back down on the table his eyes having a hard time staying off his friend. “Tell me again why you put up with me all these years?” He asked his voice taking on a teasing tone. Of course he knew why, that didn’t mean that Daniel didn’t like hearing it.

Nick liked it when he was right and the other was aware of it. Relaxed he took another sip from his delicious coffee when the other boy spoke. He really didn't expect that.

“You know… one of these days I may have to test it.”

He spitted the coffee out, messing up the floor and a little on his pants. Nope. He really didn't expect that. Even though he knew how playful Daniel was and how flirty it was always with him, this time he caught him of guard. He cough a few times letting the mug on the table trying to breath normal again.

"Are you trying to kill me this early in the morning?" he asked in a squirm voice because of the almost chocked moment that he had. The silence helped him manage to calm his lungs and let the air fill his body, which now calmly was breathing at normal speed. His tears almost got out because of the choke. He hated but at the same time he loved it when Daniel was acting like this. It was their way of normal conversation. It never gone awkward between them even when flirting, even if it was like a joke or serious. "Don't joke with that or I might not take responsibility of what will happen next time" he added cleaning the coffee of his chest and pants. "Now you ruined my pajama. I liked this one very much, thank you", he said trying to be sarcastically.

He sighed when the other one spoke.

“I hope you don’t mind dealing with me all day again. You are after all my first choice.

“Tell me again why you put up with me all these years?””

"Do you really want to test my limits and see if I can smack the hell out of you?" he said leaning his body over the table, looking Daniel in the eyes. "You know pretty well why" , he said turning his face one side to the other, being inches away from Daniel. He smiled amused by their little games. Maybe he was fool for still clinging on that little hope that maybe in the end it will be him and not Chris. That in the end, Daniel will chose him. He winked at him and pull himself away from him.

"So ... What do you want to do today?" he asked trying to arrange his hair in a normal way and not a sleepy way that it was.

Unable to keep the pleased smile off his face when he noticed that what he had said made Nick chock on his coffee. It hadn’t been intentional, but knowing that he had managed to get such a reaction without trying did please him even if only slightly. “Of course I’m not trying to kill you, who else would I stare at all day?” Daniel replied with a small pout crossing his face. “Even if I didn’t joke about it you wouldn’t take responsibility.” A small smirk crossed his face this time. He was sure whether he joked about testing out what would happen if he woke the man or not that Nick would try to claim that he wasn’t responsible for what would happen.

Part of Daniel had to admit that Nick wouldn’t be entirely wrong, he wouldn’t be able to hold Nick completely accountable for what would happen. At the mention of having ruined the other’s pajamas Daniel couldn’t help but smirk. “You could just take them off…” He said trailing off as his eyes looked Nick over once more. Though he wasn’t unused to seeing Nick shirtless it had been quite some time since he had been lucky enough to see more. Even if he knew it was wrong and he was technically hinting at something that he knew would piss Chris off he couldn’t help it.

“You would never smack me, much less smack the hell out of me. You love me too much.” Daniel responded giving Nick an innocent look. “But I like hearing you say it!” Daniel whined playfully. “Does staring at you all day count?” It was an option after all, and it was a very good one at that. Taking another sip of his coffee, he thought about it a little more seriously this time. “I don’t know, I mean… I really just enjoy hanging out with you.” Daniel truly didn’t care how they spent the day, knowing that he had the chance to spend it yet again with Nick was enough for him.

If there was anyone he could always go to it was Nick, the other man never turned him away. Though a small part of him was afraid that one of these days Nick would do just that. Not wanting to dwell on such a thought he finished his coffee and stood up moving closer to Nick and giving him yet another smile. “Can’t we just play around all day? Spending time with you is so easy.”

"I'm glad you like what you see" he said smiling, feeling proud that little by little he was gaining Daniel for himself. he couldn't tell what it was, but it was a strange attraction between them. No matter for how long they didn't talk or see each other, they were the same as always. No change. But the bond between them to was getting stronger and stronger. It was like they were drawn towards one another.

“Even if I didn’t joke about it you wouldn’t take responsibility.”

The small joke didn't get him. Even if it was said like a joke he knew it wasn't one. Not long ago, a few years more exact, he tried to date Daniel. He was young and stupid and made a fool of himself and lost him. Because of his stupid friends and encounters. He didn't had a light life. We was in all kind of trouble when he was young. Sort of the bad guy.

“You could just take them off…”

"Don't tempt me" he said looking at Daniel with devilish eyes licking his lower lip, feeling his throat getting dry.

“You would never smack me, much less smack the hell out of me. You love me too much.”

“But I like hearing you say it!”

"Yet again I am telling you don't tempt me" he added lifting an eye brow as he was looking at the boy, hearing the rest of the speech. He didn't mind having him around. Who knows what could happen in between this small walls of his house. He grinned.

"I think we have different ideas of playing bunny" he said touching the others chin than pocking his nose and turning around, making some space between them. Being so close to the other it was irresistible. His mind was already wondering in forbidden places and picturing him playing with the other. Not the sort of play the other would think, but the kinky ones.

“I don’t believe there was ever a time that I didn’t like what I see.” Daniel admitted with a small shrug. It was true, even when they were younger he had always liked what he saw in Nick. Sure the other man had done some bad things, gotten wrapped in up the wrong type of people but he had always been drawn to Nick. Even if the one time they had tried dating when they were younger didn’t work out, a small part of him really wanted to give Nick another shot. Especially when he noticed how his friend continuously look at him, he wasn’t blind to the longing in his friend’s gaze.

“Aw, come on. Just a little?” He teased a smirk crossing his face. Damn did he really want to see more of Nick, even if it had been unintentional to get the older man to make a mess. Right now, he was going to use it to his advantage and see if he could at the very least see a little more of the other man. Raising an eyebrow in curiosity at the mention of them having different ideas of playing only for Nick to refer to him as a bunny. If only Nick knew of the stamina he had, more times than none he truly felt like he was insatiable. Even when he was physically and mentally tired his body always seemed to want more, it took all his concentration not to blush.

As Nick stood so close his breath caught in his throat, Nick was one of very few people who literally took his breath away. Daniel was more than a little disappointed when Nick pulled away and put some smore space between them. Pouting again he watched his friend with needy eyes. It was getting harder and harder to resist wanting more with Nick every time they spent even a few minutes together. Of course, he knew that made him weak, there was even a part of him who repeatedly told himself because of how much he wanted Nick that Chris deserved better than him.

What would his brother say if he knew what he was doing now? He could only imagine, but he knew he wouldn’t be remotely happy either. Skipping school alone was bound to get to his brother, skipping school and running off to Nick was far worse. Even if the two men had once gotten along, time hadn’t been nice to their relationship. Though he didn’t necessarily think that the two of them hated each other, it was clear they were not friends. Sometimes Daniel missed it when the three of them were, but he understood what had changed.

Taking in a slightly shaky breath Daniel tried to clear his suddenly foggy mind. He had to keep himself under control and not fuck with Nick. No matter how much he wanted to, both literally and figuratively. More literally than anything, a small ache in his lower back told him all he needed to know. The short period of contact even if it was just his chin had ignited his body, making it want more than it could have. Taking in a sharp breath he let it out in a shaky sigh, hoping that Nick didn’t notice just how much that simple touch got to him. Clearing his throat he spoke, “Anyways, I don’t care what we do. As long as I am with you I’m happy.” It wasn’t even remotely a lie.

Still, his eyes wandered and with it so did his mind. Nick had changed since he had seen him a few years ago. Even after yesterday of spending time with him he couldn’t help but take in the changes. It made him wonder if other areas had changed as well, which of course, made his eyes wander towards the lower section of his friend. Even when he was trying his best to behave Nick made it almost impossible.

“I don’t believe there was ever a time that I didn’t like what I see.”

The way the other was playing in changing the game in his favor was cute but also annoying because if he would have done something wrong and break the friendship he would lose him forever. And of course he didn't want that.

"Don't play with fire or you might get burned" he said winking at him.

After a few seconds he closed his eyes and sight looking at the boy who was acting like a little kitten. how could he refuse anything the boy wanted.

"Well ... I don't want to stay indoors so ... what you say if we go to a movie?" he asked the first think came up in his mind not knowing what else they could do today. The fact that he didn't want to stay in house it was true. It was like a prison since he didn't had anything else to do, but now that Daniel was here, he could go out.

Pouting slightly at Nick when he spoke, Daniel sighed softly. Though he was more than tempted to continue to “play with fire” as the older man liked to put it, he knew he should let it rest for now. He wouldn’t let it rest for very long but at least for a little while. Leaning back against his chair he watched as Nick closed his eyes for a moment before they reopened and their gazes met once more. Curious about what was on the other’s mind Daniel just remained where he was patiently waiting to hear what Nick wanted to do.

It was being asked if he wanted to go see a movie that he raised an eyebrow at the older man. It was a simple question, one that he had been asked a lot by different people but it seemed odd coming from Nick. Still he just shrugged, “Sure. Is there a particular movie you wanted to see?” He questioned. A movie was really just another excuse to be close to Nick, so of course he wasn’t going to complain about it.

"Hmm ... " he thought for a minute trying to remember what he saw the past days at TV as comercials and he remembered on in particular that was kind of interesting. "Not one that i would kill to see but i saw a comercial at Tv and it was interesting. It's called Overdrive. It a little mix between action and comedy" he shrugged scratching the back of his head. "If you want to see something in particular we can go" he added. "Or we can just see what is in cinema and make our mind there".

"But first I will have to take a shower an dress up" he said pointing to his dorm. "So do whatever you want ... feel like home" he winked at the boy and before he left he stopped. "Oh and ... don't break anything ok bunny?" he grinned.

“We can see whatever. I don’t really care.” Daniel replied with a small shrug letting his eyes finally stray away from Nick for the first time since he got there. Daniel really wasn’t a hard person to please when it came to movies and things like that, just give him some company and he was good to sit through anything. Hearing that Nick was going to go take a shower a mischievous look crossed his face as he looked his friend up and down again. “I’ll do my best to behave.” He said his voice making it clear he really would have to try hard.

Being told he could make himself at home he nodded, only to laugh when he was told not to break anything. “Aw, that’s no fun!” He whined playfully and pretended to look hurt. But in the end a smile crossed his face and he rolled his eyes, “I won’t break anything. Just make it quick so I don’t get bored and start testing to see how strong things are. That’s when things get broken.”

"Or if you get bored you can join me" he said while walking away in a joke. But for him it was more like an invitation. A flirty way of joking. Like it was said. In a joke one says the truth. Once he got in his room, he went in the bathroom letting the shower on while looking in the mirror. He was going to a movie with Daniel, that was his chance to finally make a move on him. Fuck Chris ... he is to stupid to maintain a relationship.

Undressing from his pants he got in the shower starting to wash himself, not thinking about the date that he just made with Daniel. Unconsciously, but he did it.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the other side of town, Chris was calmly trying to figure out what was his next move. He found his mother, but he couldn't go alone. His parents were out of question so the only person remain vacant was Daniel. But in the last few days Daniel started to act really strange. He was distant, more distant than when he was teasing him. And this was not another episode of teasing. Something was happening and he just didn't understand.

He got out his phone, looked at the screen and then dialed Daniels phone. He needed to talk with someone and tell what he found out.

Daniel was more than a little tempted to join Nick in the shower when the offer was put on the table. Even though he knew that it had been said as a joke he had heard what was implied underneath said joke. Nick wouldn't mind if he joined him, and Daniel wanted to more than he wanted to admit. Forcing himself not to join Nick in the shower he moved towards the living room instead, he had to keep himself occupied and mind off of his friend until Nick was redressed and present. Sinking onto the couch he decided to busy his mind with some TV until Nick was done getting ready.

It was as he was flicking through channels that he realized this was more of a date than it was just two friends hanging out. Part of him felt guilty knowing he was doing this behind Chris' back, the other part was more than a little excited. The sound of his phone ringing in his pocket made him jump slightly, reaching into his shorts he pulled it out and noticed it was Chris. His first instinct was not to answer, but it was his brother so with a sigh he slid it down and spoke, "Hey, Chris. Did you need something?" Alright, he knew that wasn't really a nice way to ask what was up. But at the same time there was still something that made him want to stay away from his brother.

Deep in the back of his mind he knew it was fear that despite what Chris said once he found his parents he wouldn't want anything to do with him or the two people who raised him. It was a painful thought so he forced the thoughts aside as he instead looked around the living room.

After he finished showering he changed into a pair of black skinny jeans and a black T-shirt. He arranged his hair in the mirror to one side and he was done. He took some money from his jacket pocket to have at the cinema then he turned back downstairs. Just then he heard Daniel speaking on the phone. He remained in the doorhall and looked at him confused.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Really? Do I need something to give you a call and talk to you?" said Chris shocked by the strange respond from the other. what is up with him, he thought narrowing his eyes. "Where are you? Did you get home?" he asked hearing the Tv on the background. "Forget I asked .... I called because I found something and I wanted to tell you ... I've found my mother" there was a pause. "N-Not her personally but ... her Address and .... I was wondering if you can come with me to meet her" he added eventually biting his lower lip.

He wasn't sure anymore about Daniels respond to his request after the way he respond on the phone.

Daniel sighed, “I guess not.” He grumbled into the phone not sure why Chris was calling him. Considering right now his brother should still be in school which meant that Chris had also skipped today. “It’s none of your business, and no I’m not home.” He replied his tone becoming sharper than he had intended. Daniel didn’t feel like it was any of Chris’ business where he was, much less if he was currently home. “I told you when I left this morning I would be home late and not to wait up. So of course I’m not home.” He added after a short pause forcing his tone to become softer, gentler even if his eyes were hard as he stared at the TV.

“Why?” Daniel questioned before he could stop the word from slipping from his mouth. After a brief pause he shook his head, “Chris listen. I’m not home, I’m busy. If you want me to go then maybe tomorrow, but I don’t know why you would want me to be there.” He was being honest while at the same time trying to push Chris away. Daniel hoped if he took a more distant approach or seemed to not want to go that Chris would just go on his own. Why the hell did he want to meet the woman who didn’t want his brother anyway? It was obvious he didn’t, and it pissed him off a little that Chris wanted him to go knowing he didn’t even want him to look for his real parents to begin with.

Realizing that Nick should be done with his shower soon he spoke again, “Look I got to go, Chris. I’ll be home late, if you want to talk we can talk tomorrow. And… if you really want me to go then I’ll go with you tomorrow. Just… not today.” He didn’t really wait for a response before hanging up the phone and shaking his head. He didn’t know why Chris kept pushing this, why did his brother want to know those people this much? It frustrated him, and it made some feelings that he had never felt towards Chris before coming forward. Never had he been truly mad or angry with his brother, he had been frustrated and felt let down, but a sense of betrayal seemed to be sinking in. Even if he knew that the feeling truly didn’t make any sense it was present.

Before he could say something Daniel hang up. Chris was shocked at the sudden changed of attitude toward him. He just stared at the phone not understanding what just happened and why Daniel was so pissed of. The only thing that he asked was to be there beside him when he confronted his real mother. He was a special person for him but ever since the thing with the adoption and real parents , Daniel pushed him away.

"Brother/Boyfriend problems in paradise?" asked Nick coming in the room sitting on the table in front of Daniel. He never saw him this upset or ever talk to Chris that way. Something was really happening between them , and it was bad.

"I don't wanna know if you don't want to" he said lifting his arms in the air like he was surrendering, having a little smile on his face.
