Daniel nodded being told they were a few friends from high school that he wouldn't remember. Not like it was really a big deal either way, "Well I'm going to go shower then." He commented turning to head up the stairs and shooting a smirk over his shoulder.

 

"Feel free to join me when you're done eating." Daniel added before he made his way upstairs. Heading to the bathroom he slipped out of his clothes and turned on the shower waiting for the water to get to just the right temperature before stepping under the warm spray.

Nick looked at Daniel when the other made the suggestion so he started eating it quicker, to finish before the other was done with the shower. It only took him 3 more bites and he was done. Taking a sip of watter he went to his bathroom and undress himself steping in it.

 

"Hope you've waited for me babes" he said kissing the others shoulder under the hot water. "I just love your body but we have to get ready so later we will have our love setion" he added smiling devilish, shampoing his body.

Daniel glanced over his shoulder when he felt Nick kiss his shoulder a small smile crossing his face. Of course he was pleased hearing Nick say that he loved his body, even if he'd have to wait for some more interesting activities until later that night. "I'll try to be patient then." Daniel said turning around to kiss him before returning to cleaning up.

 

"It's nice to conserve water, don't you think?" Daniel mused as he finished washing his hair and body moving to step out of the shower. "I suppose if I am going to have to wait for our lovely session I should put clothes in before you get to tempted." Daniel teased.

"That could be a good idea for start" he said glancing one more time at hia body than returning to his shower. They didnt hand time for a round so it was better that way. Staying for a few more minutes under the hot water he moved after with just a towel around his waist to look for clothes.

 

He decided for a pair of black skinny jeans which were making his ass better looking and a black shirt that was wrapped on his muscles. He was a good looking sexy guy.

Glancing back towards Nick when he came out of the bathroom, Daniel watched the other man as he dressed. A soft hum of approval escaping him as he looked his boyfriend over. "You just have to make it so hard to keep my eyes off of you." He missed with a smile.

 

Turning back to what he had been doing he finished pulling on his own clothes before running a hand through his hair. Once he was sure he looked good he stretched and glanced back towards Nick. "I suppose we should get going."

"that's a good think ... that way I know that I'm the only one that you'd lay your eyes on" he smirked in the mirror back at Daniel, watching his every move as he was getting dressed. "Same goes to you" he said turning to Daniel, wrapping his arms around him laying a kiss on his neck. "Sadly yes ... I would have preferred to strip you of those clothes and hear you scream than going out" he mumbled sighing. "Let's go"

Daniel chuckled, "You know I love it when people can't take their eyes off of me." He commented as Nick's arm wrapped around him. "What makes you think you're even capable of making me scream?" Daniel questioned raising an eyebrow. As much as he loved Nick's confidence this was something he felt he should question. There was little he probably would ever question when it came to Nick.

 

When he was encouraged to go he nodded and followed Nick back down the stairs and towards the front door. It wasn't long before they were at the car, Daniel slipping into his seat and like always buckling up. Then he glanced back over to Nick and spoke once more, "Has it really been so long since we have talked and hung out that I don't even know who your friends are anymore?" Daniel asked rather curious.

"We kind of lost connection for 1 year so ... I think so" he shrugged keeping his eyes on the road. "And don't think are the old inconvenient so called friends that i used to hang out. They are long gone from my life" he added referring at those that got him in trouble and jail, because of which he was dumped by Daniel. That moment made him realize that something was wrong and had to change, but at that time it was too late.

 

"It will be fun" he said keeping his smile on his face, ignoring the sad memories that wanted to return to him after so long time that were locked up away somewhere in his mind.

A small nod was Daniel's only response when he was reminded that they hadn't really talked in about a year give or take, a small frown crossed his face as he glanced out the window. Even if he shouldn't think back to that year he couldn't really help it, but in the end he really was glad that they had gotten back in contact now. Looking back on it he wished that he had stayed in contact with Nick, but considering the people that Nick used to hang around he didn't regret it to much.

 

"It will." Daniel agreed with a nod, "But only because you'll be by my side." He added with a small smirk. He wasn't normally one for nights out like this, but if it meant he got to glue himself to Nick's side he was all for it. That and he really did like the way the older man looked dressed up the way he was. Both of them had obviously gotten a good grasp of what clothes showed off their body just right to draw attention to them. As long as he was the only one that Nick gave attention to in more than a friendly manner he didn't care whose attention Nick grabbed.

"Of course" he said smiling parking the car a few blocks away from the club. He waited for Daniel grabbing his hand and walking to the entrance talking with the bodyguard which let them pass.

 

Inside the music was loud and everybody were dancing all over the place. The lights were dim but in all posible colors. Nick made his way around the people to a privat place where a few tables were set. His friends waved at him to come over.

 

"Yo my man ... whats up old man ... its getting hard to see you" said a red headed guy.

"Ive been kind of busy" he said pointing daniel smiling.

Everyone turned their heads.

"Your boyfriend?" A dark haird asked.

"Yes. Everyone this is Daniel. Daniel they are Jack (the red headed), Mark(the dark one) and Sam (the blond one)

"Its nice to finally meet you" said Sam tilting his head with a soft smile.

"Sam and Mark are a thing and Jack is Sam's brother" said Nick to Daniel.

Daniel walked beside Nick letting his eyes taking in the atmosphere around the room as Nick lead the way. His hand securely in the older man's, it was a moment after Nick stopped before Daniel turned his gaze to the three men. Noticing that Nick motioned towards him he gave him a soft pout, "Hey now, I have only been taking up your time for two days."

 

Pleased when Nick was asked if he was his boyfriend just for him to confirm it. That was something he could get used to hearing. "Nice to meet you guys as well." Daniel replied with a smile. He didn't mind meeting Nick's friends and honestly wish he knew more of them though he wasn't sure how many he had. Of course he was also aware of how Nick's old friends had also drove them apart, while Nick was getting into trouble he had been practically pushed towards his brother. That was in the past though, these three didn't seem like the people he was sure nicl was no longer around.

 

Looking up at Nick when he explained the Dynamics of the three he nodded. It would probably take him a little bit to remember who was who. Most of the people in his life had been in it since he was a kid, new people and names were not a strong point of his.

"Ok. Get a room" said Sam turning his face to aside.

"Gelouse?" Asked Mark making fun of his brother.

"Alright ... alright ... i propose to have a drink" said jack taking mark with him to take the drinks.

"Come o Sam. Your brother is just playing with you. You know this two are best friends" said Nick sitting on the coutch pulling Daniel in his lap.

"Yeah ... kind remind me o a similiar story" mumbled Sam making Nick unconfortably.

Daniel shifted to make himself a little more comfortable on Nick's lap glancing towards Sam who was currently the only other person that remained. The comment of it reminding him of a similar story made him glance towards Nick noticing his reaction. Instantly Daniel was curious but wasn't sure of he should ask or let it go. Glancing back towards Sam he spoke, "So... how long have you guys been friends?" He questioned glancing back at Nick.

 

Things certainly have changed in the year they spent apart. It was different, it was just a matter of figuring out how much he liked the change. So far it seemed Sam and Nick had just exchanged something he was almost unaware of. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing but it peaked his curiosity.

"Since we were little but we moved a few years ago amd just came back home" said Sam drinking from his glass looking at Daniel smiling. "And you? Since when are you dating? I thought you .." Sam stopped seeing Nicks glance and tried to change the question."I thought you were trying to take a break" he addressed to Nick.

 

"We were friends and just started dating" said Nick short, keeping his hand on Daniels waist. Looking at him from time to time smiling. The others returned with the drinks. He took a deep sip.

 

"Lets dance" said Nick pulling Daniel on the dance floor.

Giving a small nod at the response Daniel didn't speak, it was kind of a good thing they had known each other for so long. When Sam started speaking and was about to ask a question he noticed he changed it Midway through directing the new question at Nick. Turning to look at Nick as his boyfriend responded a small frown crossed his face.

 

It wasn't too long before the other two returned with the drinks just for Nick to take a big sip and get up pulling him toward the dance floor. "I'm a terrible dancer." Daniel complained as he turned to face Nick. "What was Sam originally going to ask?" He questioned.

"Hugh ... they know the whole story about me you and Chris. When they left i tirned to you guys to be friends with. We still keept in touch and Sam was something like my confesor" he said in a sigh turning Daniel than pulling him back close. "He thought i got over you. Thats what he was starting to ask. Thats what i told them so that they can let go of the subject back then" he looked at the table and back at Daniel. "They are not bad guys they are just ... a little protective when it comes to my love life amd friends around me. Not to repeat the same story agai" he said refering at the part with drugs and jail.

"You'd tell me that anyway." Daniel grumbled after being told he was a great dance. He was positive even if he wasn't that Nick would say he was just to make him feel better. Still he didn't complain as Nick kept their bodies close to dance. He listened intently as he was told about how he had turned to Sam and confessed things.

 

Though Daniel didn't blame him, and he was glad Nick had someone it made him blush. Especially when he heard that Sam's original question had pertained to Nick having got over him. "I'm glad you have people in your life like that." Daniel admitted with a small smile.

"This time they are normal" he said laughing leaning his head on Daniels forehead, dancing together. The music changed into something more energetic. He started dancing, he was a good dancer, not letting Daniel out of his sight. After a few songs they got back to their table only to see Sam and Mark kissing like two love birds that they were.

 

"Now who has to get a room?" said Nick laughing when he sat on the seat next to them, keeping Daniel in his lap, playing a few times the horse ridding making fun of him. It was a good fun time with the people that he loved. It was amazing.

 

"Shut up!" said Markt pointing out his tongue only to turn back and kiss Sam again. Jack was out of the picture but Nick found him quick enough at the bar with a new guy. "Jack's again on the hunt?" he said laughing.

 

"You know him ... Not staying with one person too much. He doesn't want to get to emotional or attached" said Sam shrugging.

 

Nick left the two birds alone, turning to look at Daniel, pinching him by the ass. "Are you having fun?" he asked.

Daniel couldn't help but laugh when he was told that this time they were normal, "I believe you, and I trust you." He replied with a smile as they continued to dance together. He had complete faith in Nick to surround himself with people who wouldn't keep getting him into trouble. After a few songs they returned to the table in which case he was once more pulled into Nick's lap, perching himself there he wrapped one of his arms around Nick's neck. Eyes moving towards Mark and Sam who were definitely more focused on each other.

 

At the mention of Jack, Daniel followed Nick's gaze towards the bar where sure enough the other man seemed to be trying his luck with a guy. It was the pinch to his ass that drew his attention back to Nick, looking up at the other man as he was asked if he was having fun. Humming softly in approval he nodded before leaning forward to press his lips to Nick, "I always have fun when we are spending time together." Which was completely true. Daniel might not normally be the club kind of guy, but it was more time he was with Nick and thus he very much enjoyed it.

 

That, and spending time with each other at a club just gave Nick even more of an excuse to keep him close. Something that Daniel was in no way going to complain about. Threading his fingers into the hair at the base of Nick's neck Daniel flashed him a smile, "I'm looking even more forward to our camping trip this weekend though." He commented as his smile turned to a smirk. "I know the perfect place." He added happily.

"Are you going camping without us?" said Mark turning his surprised face when he heard that Nick was going camping without them. "That's outrageous ... How can you leave your best friends behind and not even asked them" started Mark to skoll Nick like a little child. Nick looked at Sam to do something.

 

"Don't look at me mate ... you're on your own" he said laughing knowing how Mark will react further, wanting a little revenge on Nick.

 

"Mark, is not that i didn't want to asked it just ... Didn't pop up in my mind to ask you. We planned this as a trip in two" tried Nick to excused himself.

 

"Oh don't try to mess with my head rabbit" he said narrowing his eyes. "We don't stay long in town and you know it" he added sighing trying to calm himself.

 

"It's a couple thing" tried again Nick to escape the situation.

 

"And we're not?" jumped Sam.

Daniel glanced towards the couple when he heard Mark speak, practically scolding Nick for not having invited them on the camping trip. Though part of him felt like he should feel bad, Daniel couldn’t help but find the whole thing rather amusing instead. Especially when Nick seemed to try to get help from Sam with a look just to be turned down instead, glancing up at Nick as the other man desperately tried to find a way out of inviting the others he tilted his head to the side slightly.

 

At the mention of it being a couple thing even he could see how that would go over before Sam had even jumped in with his own comment. Frowning slightly, he gently ran his fingers through Nick’s hair in a soothing manner when the older man finally seemed to just give in. Obviously having realized that there really was no way for him to get out of it, despite being a little bummed that the camping trip for the two of them suddenly turned into more of a couples retreat he didn’t speak or protest. It was the comment about Jack needing to find a dick to come with him that made him laugh softly.

“If they are going, they need to be ready to leave bright and early.” Daniel said loud enough for Mark and Sam to hear him this time. He wanted to leave before his mother could try to drag him back to the hospital for Chris, his brother would be find in the care of the doctors and nurses for the weekend. Honestly, Chris was really the last person he wanted on his mind right now, he still loved him of course. But this was a chance for him to discover if he and Nick really could be a thing. Something he was sure Chris would make sure never happened if he had never lost his memory.
