Nick laugh at Daniels act but was the first one to leave the tend letting Daniel further to change, heading to Jack heading with settle the food on the table along with the drinks that they still have left.

After a few minutes Sam and Mark got out from their tend all dress up and sat at the table laughing at some jokes that only they knew, like the others weren't even there.

"We are here too you know" said quickly Jack feeling left out of all.

"Come on Jack. You know how they are" said Nick bumping him slowly with the elbow smiling.

"I know but i'm just sick of it all the smoochy ochy" he said turning to the final peace of meet getting it ready.

"Are you jealous?" asked Mark laughing

"No ... I'm just hungry and you guys didn't even helped me with it" he said still angry on them.

"Alright, we're sorry. Promise that once we are home we will make up for you" said Mark smiling.

Walking over to where Nick was helping Jack and Louis out he settled himself next to him looking towards Max and Sam when they finally joined them. Daniel personally wasn’t bothered how the two seemed to act as if the rest of them weren’t even there. He found it kind of cute himself, that two people could be so into each other. Watching as the others finished getting the food ready, once they were done he reached out for Nick’s hand entwining their fingers together. He really did love everything about their relationship, and he had forgotten about everything that was happening at home.

 

Looking up at Nick he smirked slightly, “So, I believe we had plans to sneak you into my house some night. Maybe we should discuss that.” He mused leaning against the table as he turned to face Nick better. Though he would still rather have Nick sneak in through his window just one more time for old times he understood that really wasn’t possible anymore. Really, the only person he had to sneak Nick past was his dad who didn’t for one reason or another like him. The older man never had though, so he never really thought much of it. Running his thumb over the back of Nick’s hand as he looked down at their entwined fingers.

"We can talk about that when we get home. Let's just enjoy the meal and the company" said Nick kissing the others neck waiting for the last piece of meet to be set on the table. Now that all of them were gathered at the table, they started to eat like savages that were hungry for over a week and they just had meet in that much of time.

 

"Good job Jack ... This is so good" moaned Nick while eating with his mouth full.

"You're the best" said Mark the same way smiling but continued eating.

"I'm glad that i;m good at something" respond Jack, taking a sip of beer than eat again.

 

There were a few good minutes a deadly silent as they all ate.

Daniel didn't speak, not commenting as Nick leaned towards him just to kiss his neck. He supposed that it really could wait until they got home and it was just the two of them. Glancing towards Jack and the others as they were all gathered at the table with only one more piece of meat that needed to be cut up before they were ready to eat. When they were done cutting it up and the food was ready there seemed to only be a few quiet moments before everyone started eating.

 

Once everyone finished eating things seemed to be calm and quiet. A moment later conversation broke out at the table, Daniel's eyes wandering around the small campsite as he let his own mind wander. Though this camping trip hadn't exactly gone like he had expected it still hadn't been bad. That didn't mean he was ready for it to come to an end. It kind of sucked that this would be their last night at the campsite and that the next day they would all be going home. But he was sure they all had things that had to be done in the coming week, no matter how much they might wish otherwise.

 

He remained silent as he let his mind wander. Resting his right hand lightly on Nick's thigh as he did so. Daniel wasn't the type of person who felt like they always had to be talking, he had learned to appreciate small moments of silence. Unfortunately in this case the silence let his mind wander to school and Chris. Wondering how long it would be before his brother got his memory back, and how things would really be until then. It was enough to really get him thinking.

As they were finishing eating the day went into night announcing them that that was the last night out in the wild.

"It's time for desert" said Nick getting out the marshmallows and setting up the fire so that they can sit around and have some warmness.

Sam, Mark and Jack fallowed him taking a stick and adding a marshmallow in the tip , keeping it in the fire.

"This was fun" said Mark leaning against Sam smiling.

Jack rolled his eyes sighing but smiling at the same time. Even if he was sometimes grumpy he did had a good heart.

Nick pointed the place near him to Daniel , lifting a stick with a marshmallow in it towards him.

Daniel glanced up when he heard Nick announce it was time for dessert only to pull out marshmallows and move to get the fire going. Even after the others gathered around it he didn't move immediately. Not until his boyfriend motioned for him to sit beside him holding out a marshmallow that had been impaled on a stick. Getting up he moved over to Nick's side, pressing himself firmly into the older man's side before reaching up and taking the stick from him. It was followed by him leaning up to press a kiss to Nick's lips a small smile crossed his face.

 

"You're so sweet." He murmured before he turned his attention back to the fire and put his marshmallow closer to the flames to toast it just right. His gaze maneuvered around the rest of the group as he did so. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, laughing and joking around with each other as it was their last night under the stars before they would all head home tomorrow.

"As i promised. I our last night here we will have marshmallows" he said smiling eating one by one pretty quickly. Not that he was thinking about home had him a little worried, but didn't want the other to see that. Knowing that Daniel will be busy with school and home, it would be less time for them to spend together. At least they could text one another.

 

As the time passed quickly, which always happens when one has fun, the finished the fire and head back in their tend. Waiting for Daniel to get next to him, he hugged him, and keep him close to his chest. It will be hard not to have the boy 24\7 but he had to get used to it. Maybe that way it would make their relationship stronger. Of course he forgot one thing, more exactly one person, but he didn't want to let that get in between them two at that moment.

 

"I will miss this .... being all the time with you" he said sighing.

Daniel smiled and nodded. Roasting only a few marshmallows before he decided he had enough. Leaning back on his hand he talked with Nick in between the other man scarfing down his own which only made him laugh. Finally the fire had dimmed out and they got up to return to their tent like everyone else. Climbing in after Nick he shifted on the sleeping bags before laying down right next to his boyfriend. He was more than happy when Nick's arms wrapped around him and he was held tightly to the other man's chest.

 

Eyes drifting shut Daniel nuzzled the older man lightly. "I'll miss it too. But... we still have the fun of sneaking you into my room some time." He mused honestly looking forward to doing so. "I even promised to let you use the door this time." He added with a small smirk. Shifting to wrap one of his arms around Nick he tucked his head under his boyfriend's chin. "I love you... so much..." He murmured already falling asleep.

"Love you too kitten" he said in a whisper closing his eyes and trying to get a rest. What would come he couldn't be sure of it, but he could only hope that it will settle in a good way. The fact that he would be out of this place and away from Louis and what happened between them was lingering him.

 

The morning came really fast and they had to pack everything and get on the road.

 

"See you guys back home this days alright" said Nick saluting the boys, meaning Sam, Mark and Jack. "Don't leave town without saying a word" he worn them smiling and hugging them.

They got in their cars and each of them went back to their homes.

Morning came faster than Daniel would have liked. Before long the camp was packed up and they were all ready to head home. A smile crossed his face watching Nick say goodbye to his friends. It had been such a nice trip. Slipping into the car he buckled up and it wasn't long before they were on the road once more. Reaching over he set his hand on Nick's thigh his smile growing slightly. "So, I was thinking that you could come over Wednesday. Spend the night with me so I don't have to wait so long to spend time with you again. A week is a long time... and... I could really use the slight distraction from school." Daniel said running his hand along Nick's thigh as he spoke.

 

He really didn't want to go back to school, and the slight distraction and a night with Nick would be great. It was as he continued running his hand over his boyfriend's thigh that his mind wandered. Now that they were on their way home he couldn't help but think about Chris. Throughout the whole trip he had been distracted from his brother and his amnesia. Wondering if his brother had made any progress in regaining his memory.

"That should be fun" he said making himself comfortable on his seat feeling the others hand on his thigh. "I will leave you home first and then i go to my place. I need to clean up the house or call someone to do that for me" he said laughing. He wasn't one to do the cleaning. "We can meet later on and hang outside" he added holding Daniels hand as there was no need to change the speed on the car.

 

They reached home in less then an hour as Nick was driving really fast but on the speed limits this time. "See you later" he said leaning and kissing the other.

Nodding when he was told he'd be dropped off at home first, Daniel sighed softly. As much as he would much rather spend time with Nick he knew that it was best to go home now and get a few things done himself. The comment about Nick needing to clean up or maybe calling someone to do it for him made him roll his eyes a small smile crossing his face. Trailing his thumb over the back of Nick's hand he spoke, "You know... if you did it, it would make time go by faster." Of course he knew Nick didn't like cleaning, he didn't know many people who did. But he did know that doing so himself would make time go by quicker and give Nick something to do.

 

When they pulled up out front of his home, Daniel returned the kiss and flashed a smile. "See you later, and I love you." He replied before slipping out of the car and heading up the stairs and into the house. For a moment he just stood in the hall near the front door listening to the house. Things seemed peaceful as he made his way for him bedroom knowing he should make sure he had everything for tomorrow. Considering he had skipped two days last week he knew he was behind in his school work but couldn't bring himself to care. He still wished that Nick would just let him drop out, why his boyfriend's opinion mattered so much he didn't truly know.

 

It didn't take long for Daniel to make sure he was prepared for the upcoming week. When he had finished he moved back downstairs to grab a snack before he'd probably shut himself in his room for a little while.

Nick smiled and drove away from Daniels house, heading to his. He needed a shower to relax, a good meal and a good sleep. Even if it was just noon, he needed his beauty sleep. In just a few minutes he reached his house and did as he wished. Showered, took a snack, wondering around his house with just a towel around his waist and sitting on the coach watching Tv, hopefully he will fall asleep.

Chris was home in his room reading some novel or stuff, not sure what it was himself. It just found it interesting and wanted to read about it, when he heard the door and foot steps on the stairs. Someone was wondering around the house like he knew the place so he presumed that it was his brother. Hearing that the steps head downstairs he went and saw his brother taking a snack from the fridge which made him laugh.

 

"Hello to you too brother ... See that you are in a good mood" he said wrapping his arms across his chest.

Daniel turned when he heard the familiar voice of Chris a small smile crossing his face. "Oh, hey Chris." He greeted his brother, he was a little surprised he was home and home alone for that matter. "I didn't think you were home, at least not when I noticed Mom and Dad were gone." He admitted as he pulled out a few things so he could make himself some lunch instead deciding to throw the snack idea out the window. "Are you hungry?" He asked as he made sure he had everything he needed to make some chicken casadias. It really wasn't like him to willingly cook a meal but he didn't really have anything else to do and he was hungry.

 

Grabbing a glass from the cabinet above him he returned to the fridge to grab the iced tea. "Want some?" He asked as he poured himself a glass and tossed in a few ice cubes. It was nice to be home after spending almost a week away. But at the same time, things seemed strange considering the fact that it seemed like Chris still didn't really remember anything.

"Oh, hey Chris."

"I didn't think you were home, at least not when I noticed Mom and Dad were gone."

 

"they thought that i would run away if they let me in the hospital so they decided to trust me and let me home alone" he said coming closer to Daniel looking at what he was doing. Chris could see that his brother was a little nervous but couldn't understand why.

 

"Are you hungry?"

"Want some?"

 

"Yes please" he said stopping right beside him. "Are you ... alright?" he asked cautious. "You seem a little nervous. Did something happened during the weekend?" he asked leaning against the kitchen counter, crossing his arms above his chest.

Daniel laughed when Chris explained why he had been left home alone. "They aren't really wrong though are they? You were looking for every possible way to get out of the hospital a few days ago." Pouring Chris a glass of iced tea as well he handed him the cup as he started on their food. He was cutting up the chicken when he heard him speak again this time he looked towards him in surprise.

 

"Do I? No. Nothing happened. I mean, Nick and I had a nice camping trip. But nothing really happened." He replied. He hadn't noticed he had seemed nervous, but considering how Chris was acting it meant he still did not have his memories back. That helped him relax tremendously as he continued moving around. Putting a pan on the stove he added some butter to cook the quesadillas in. "Do you want any salsa or sour cream on yours?" Daniel questioned. Shredding some cheese he started tossing the quesadillas together and wanted to make sure he didn't leave anything out for that Chris might want on his.

"Do I? No. Nothing happened. I mean, Nick and I had a nice camping trip. But nothing really happened."

 

Chris laughed drinking from the juice that Daniel gave him, sitting at the the table but keeping his eyes on his brother. Something was bothering him about the other and the fact that every time he wanted to remember something his head was hurting. Their parents have told him that he lost his memory and that he was in senior year of high school.

 

"Do you want any salsa or sour cream on yours?"

 

"You already know how i like it or have you forgot?" he asked looking at his cooking skills. "Don't burn the house please" he added laughing leaning on the back sit.

Nick woke up on the couch. Apparently he fell asleep watching Tv. A little chill ran down his spine making him have goose bums. Getting up in his room he took a pair of shorts with no underwear and a shirt, taking his clothes to the cleaning machine. He wasn't going to call somebody do to the work in his place. Even if he said so. Just when he wanted to get started the door bell rang. who could that be ... Maybe Daniel ?

 

Stepping in front of the door he open it laughing thinking it was Daniel. "You missed me this soon already?" he said but than his smiled disappeared when he saw who it was. "Louis" he said shortly narrowing his eyes.

It wasn't like Daniel had any interest in telling Chris about his sex life with Nick on the camping trip. They had a rough patch the first night, the second day went great. Still, it wasn't something he felt like he needed to discuss with his brother though he was happy Chris still didn't remember. Especially considering he knew if his brother had that Chris would have flipped out on him. Rolling his eyes at his brother's response to if he wanted salsa or sour cream he shook his head. "I didn't forget big brother. But you do occasionally like to switch things up a little." He commented.

 

When he was told not to burn the house down he gave his brother a small frown. "Come now. I know how to cook, I just don't like to." He replied making Chris' first so he could let his brother eat. Once both sides were golden brown and crispy he removed it from the pan placing it on a cutting board. Cutting it into fourths he then transferred it over to a plate and set it down before his brother. "There you go. Just how you like it." He said with a smile before returning to make his. Of course he liked his with extra salsa, always putting a dab of sour cream on the side. When his was done he turned the stove on and sat down beside his brother.

 

"Glad to be home?" He asked with a smile.

Louis couldn't help but smirk at Nick's words, "I guess you could say that." He replied with a soft laugh noticing how the other's face fell when he realized it was him. "I take it you were expecting Daniel at the door huh?" He questioned as he leaned against the door frame. "Are you going to invite me in? Or make me stand out here?" Louis questioned raising an eye brow. He had in a sense missed Nick already, though it was more of he missed trying to get into his head.

 

He needed to break the couple up after all and he knew that Nick had intentions of dropping Daniel off at home upon their return. It wasn't hard to get the other's address from Jack and decide to pull a surprise visit. Thus, here he was.

"Thank you " he said politely starting to eat not waiting on Daniel. After finishing half of the meal he looked at Daniel as he sat next to him. He was feeling kind of strange around his brother. He wanted to be close to him, even more if possible, which made him even more confused.

 

"Yeah ... The food in there was horrible. I'm amazed how i manage to keep my shape" he said showing his body than continuing eating smiling. Even if they were acting like brothers, Chris could sens that there was something more which he could just not remember.

"Are you going to invite me in? Or make me stand out here?

 

"What do you want? And how did you ..." but then he figure it out. who could possibly be so stupid and tell this guy his address but Jack. Sighing and knowing that he will regret the fact that he was letting the other in his house, but at least in there they could talk freely. On the street, everybody could see them arguing and stuff, and he didn't want to make a show.

 

"I'm asking you again Louis.. What do you want? Didn't you make enough already back in the camp?" he said crossing his arms around his chest, keeping his eyes on the other, being careful.

"You're welcome." Daniel replied at the thank you he received from his brother. A smile on his face, he really did enjoy spending time with Chris. Even if he didn't currently remember anything that had happened between them. Part of him was a little disappointed that he didn't, but another part of him knew this was his chance to find out if there really could be something between him and Nick. It was fucked up, and he knew that. To be going behind his brother's back, and in a sense he knew he was cheating on Chris. Especially since this had kind of started before Chris' accident, even if only earlier that same day.

 

Thinking about it made him feel guilty so he pushed the thoughts aside. Starting to eat his own food as he listened to Chris speak. He had all he could do not to blush when Chris showed him his figure as if to emphasize that he had indeed kept it. Laughing he shook his head, "Now, now brother. Normally I'm the one going around trying to get people to look at my body. Yet here you are doing it for me." He mused. It was amusing how Chris was acting, and part of him really liked it. Another part wasn't sure what to make of it. "Still, only a few days in the hospital isn't enough to mess up your body." Daniel added almost in a promise.

Louis was pleased when he was finally invited in, though he had heard what Nick had started to ask. Figuring that the man had found out the answer to his own question he didn't speak as he glanced around the house. "Nice place you have here." He said genuinely thinking it was a nice place. Turning back to Nick when the man spoke again he gave him a small frown. "Come now, Nick. Don't tell me you didn't have fun." He said acting a little hurt before he wiped that look off of his face completely.

 

"I thought I would check in and see how the happy couple is. That's not so wrong now is it?" Louis said with a more serious look. "Though I'm not surprised Daniel isn't here. Dumped him at the first opportunity didn't you?" He questioned almost accusingly. Even if he knew that Nick hadn't actually dumped him but had just dropped him off at home. "I'm surprised you wanted to leave him home alone with his brother." Louis had learned more about the relationship between Nick, Daniel and his brother from Jack. All he had to do was get a few drinks in his friend and the other man was more than willing to talk.

"Yeah ... you're right ... i am a good looking man" said Chris laughing in amusement looking at Daniel. "I'm happy that you smile and are happy. At the hospital you were a little worried" he added keeping a soft smile.

"What happened in the wood remain there understood?" He said in a serious look keeping his distance from the other. "And Daniel is at his home for your information" he added narrowing his eyes.

 

"And you still didnt told me whats your porpous of your visit. Its not like we are best friends or stuff like that" said Nick looking at the other angry.

Daniel couldn't help but roll his eyes at Chris' comment about him being a good looking man. How could he? He fully agreed that Chris was, but he was not about to admit that when Nick was still weighing so heavily on his mind. 'Why can't I have them both?' That one question would always be the one he would never get an answer for. Still, he desperately wanted to have both Nick and Chris. Looking up from his food when he heard Chris speak about how he was happy to see him smile and be happy. He was stunned a little hearing that he had looked worried at the hospital, was he not supposed to be? "You are my brother Chris. Of course I was worried." He replied trying to brush it off as nothing more than how he should behave for his brother.

"I know where you dropped off your boyfriend, Nick. I'm just saying I'm surprised you decided to leave him be with his brother, that's all." Louis replied raising a hand as if to dismiss the matter. He knew that Nick had dropped the younger male off at his home, that didn't mean he was unaware of what was going on. Glancing around the living room that he found himself standing in he had to admit that Nick had a nice place.

 

Leaning against a wall he glanced towards the other man a small smirk playing across his features. "Come on, Nick. Don't be so mean. Why can't you just be nice and enjoy the fact that someone wanted to pay you a visit? Don't act like I always have to have some sort of secret agenda." Granted he did. Still, Louis didn't want Nick to know that just yet.

"If something is happening please tell me. I care about you too" he said shuffling Daniels hair, making it look like a tornado has passed in it. "I'll go take a nap. Wake me if somethings up" said Chris kissing him on tje head and heading back to his room. He cared and loved hia brother and wouldnt want to see him hurt or anything.

"Because i know you dont care about anyone only yourself" he said shortly crossing his arms around his chest standing at the other end of the room. "I trust Daniel... plus ...Chris doesnt remember anything so he is not a thread for the moment" said Nick narrowing his eyes.

"Chris!" Daniel complained when his brother messed up his hair, granted he wasn't going anywhere until possibly later anyways, but still. Trying to tame his hair quickly he listened as his brother spoke watching him get up to go upstairs and nap. "Okay." He replied as he watched his brother go before relaxing back in his chair. After he finished eating he cleaned up, washing and drying the dishes before putting them away. Moving back up to his own room he laid himself down on his bed mind racing. His brother's actions were innocent... but then why did he feel like there was more his brother was conveying underneath those actions? Was it possible that Chris still had such feelings for him despite his memory loss? He figured it was, after all his brother had told him he had wanted him for awhile, he just hadn't realized how long.

"Hey now, that hurts my feelings." Louis said giving Nick a hurt look. He of course wasn't completely wrong, he was number one, and anyone else was second at best. "You think a love that was strong enough to force to brothers to fuck each other is really not going to be lying underneath the memory loss? If those two were really doing that, then how long have they both been wanting it? Memory loss wont erase the feelings that are there especially if the point in which he was thrown back because of his loss of memory was still within the range that he decided he apparently loved his brother."

 

Shaking his head he gave Nick a sad look. "You really are blinding yourself. I'm not saying he's going to do anything, but I am saying despite his brother's memory loss those feelings he felt towards Daniel could still be there and all to present. The only thing stopping them now, is you and the fact that Daniel thinks his brother's memory is gone and thus so are his feelings. Do you really think this is the first time I've seen something like this? I told you everything I did for a good reason. I know the poor kid wants both of you, but neither you nor his brother are going to be into that kind of thing. You both want him for yourself, but only one of you is going to win. So, Nick. Whose it gonna be? You? Or that brother of his?"

Chris laid on his bed thinking about his brother. His heart started to raise not knowing why but he was starting to feel something more than a normal love for his brother which was making him confuse because of his memory loss. He wanted to remember what happened and what he couldnt foeget but it was harf and giving him a head ecke. Small images where flowing in his mind but couldnt connect them and it was fustrating. But knowing that his brother was with Nick was making things hard.

"I know that ... but even so ... why do you care so much about this? You dont care about me. You just like the drama that would happen at the end. I just dont understand" he said narrowing his eyes taking a step closer to the other. He knew that he could get burn if he do that but he had to play along. " only of ... under that ignorant mask you do care for someone else than yourself" he said stopping in front of him. "Maybe you do care about me even if you are an ass amd a jerk" he added keeping eye contact with Louis.
