"Well in that case i am verry glad that you two already know each other becauss you will work at a new project togheter" said his father making Nick almost choke as he wanted to protest.

 

"But ... why me?"

 

"Because you are on the financial department and he will work on the technology department on the new project. It would be more easier for the two now that you already know eachother" continued hia father making Nick to cures in his mind.

 

"I cannot ... i have plans" said Nick quickly.

 

"I dont care. Next weekend you will travel to london in order to hace the contract signed" said his father and went further in his office.

Watching the change between the two Louis managed to hide his smile until the older man had retreated turning back to Nick he gave him a small innocent smile. "This will be fun." he mused watching how poor Nick seemed to want to deal with anyone but him. "I promise not take to much of your time. Just what's necessary." he added.

 

Of course that wasn't a complete lie, he would just make sure that what was necessary was longer than most would think. "Should we get started then?" he questioned.

"Its no fun" said nick angry not understanding why Louis wanted to get so much in his life. He didnt like himand Louis new that, than why the hell was he doing all this. Was this much of a fun to make him crazy? But knowing his father if this was business it was something serious and he hadto do it no matter what.

 

"Fine. Lets go" he said turning and walking to his office to show Louis the financial reports that they had for the past months in order to create an offer for the new project and to create a new report.

 

"This is what we had till now and the offer for it would be this" he said turning the paper towards Louis for him to read and get the needed information. Biting his tongue he moved away from him waiting for him to inform himself.

Chris managed to get back to school and attend classes without problems. At 12 he had practice and went in the gym along with the others which were happy to see him again. After practice he went at lunch looking for Daniel.

Louis settled himself in the chair across from Nick knowing he was already pushing boundaries and not wanting to get in his way even more just yet. Looking down at the report that Nick showed him he looked at what he had to work with, it wasn't very much but it might be just enough. He was rather good at being able to substitute certain things to make it fit within budget without sacrificing quality for clients. It was one of many things that made him so perfect for the spot so he knew he would get the job.

 

After a moment he leaned back in his chair and spoke, "It's doable. But how did the last guy work with these numbers so easily? I mean... come on, this is a pretty big client you have here and these are some small numbers. It's not impossible, but getting this done in time for the weekend won't be easy." He found no reason to sugar coat it for Nick, this was not going to be easy but it could be done. It would just take time, and though he had already planned to draw out just how much to force Nick to deal with him longer, he realized he wouldn't have to after all.

 

"I am going to need you to be available while I get this going. Just encase I come into any problems." Louis added cocking his head slightly to the right as he watched the other man. His eyes once more having a slight sparkle to them as if there was more on his mind. There truly was, but he knew he had to be careful of what he said while they were in the office.

It wasn't to hard for Daniel to find Chris come lunch, and he instantly moved towards his brother's side flashing a smile. "Hey, hows your day going so far?" He asked as he lead the other man towards the cafeteria so they could get some food and spend some time together.

"Until now didnt work with big clients. This is the first one that want to work with us and i am wondering that myself but this is what we have" he said leaning on the wall on the side from where Louis was sitting. "The other guy was me. I handled everything since father was faining small companies. Small is better, that way we didnt waste to much money but apparantly this new project is important for him" he shurgged looking outside the window thinking about Daniel and the fact that the time that supposed to be for them was getting smaller and smaller. His dad had a beautifull way to screw his things up big time.

 

"Well if you need anything i thing you already have my number from my father. Give me call if you need anything work related" he said turning his gaze hardening the last words so that Louis would know tgat just for work he will respond to his calls.

 

"If you are all settle than my work is done and i can go. I have other stuff to handle" he said sighing getting his phone out wanting to message Daniel.

"It was like a normal day. Nothing special" said Chris taking his food and something to drink and moved to an empty table waiting for his brother.

"What about your day? Its a little borring right?" He said laughing.

Louis listened as Nick spoke explaining that this was their first big client, he figured it explained what the only other employees literally seemed to be the father and son. Still, it was going to be difficult for him to get this done within the time frame he was given, he only seven days to do so and there was a lot of work to do. That also kinda crushed his plans to try to get into Nick's head a bit more. It was more important that he got this done and did it well and correctly to prove a point. Watching as Nick leaned against a wall nearby he didn't speak as the man mentioned how his father had probably already given him his number.

 

This was true and he nodded to confirm as much. The way the man looked when he emphasized that he should call him if he needed something only work related. Again Louis nodded, not going to press the matter right now as he gathered the numbers he had to work with and spoke, "You do what you got to do. I'll get these going and let you know if I encounter any problems or have any questions."

 

As he approached Nick's office door he stopped and glanced back towards the other man flashing a smile, "But loosen up, Nick. It isn't that bad to work with me." He said with a smirk and a wink.

Grabbing his own food and a drink Daniel followed Chris to a table and sat across from his brother. "You know me so well. Boring and a bit of a struggle honestly. I really don't want to be here." He admitted but he was sure Chris knew that already. He was here for his brother and because Nick in a sense was on him about wanting to skip. He understood why of course but he just didn't want to do it.

Nick sighed as Louis got out of the office thinking of this week and weekend how he will have to work with Louis along side without making any problem. Breathing in and out calming his nervers he took the rest of the papier on which he had to work and solve some mesurements and went to his car.

"I know but is the last year and after we are free" he smiled and started eating. "After school, as usual, i have practice if you want you can stay. Or does Nick come to pick you up?"

Daniel sighed at Chris' words the other man telling him what Nick had so many times already. It didn't make him want to stay and finish out the year anymore than it did when Nick had said it. Leaning his head on his hand he played absently with his food as he heard his brother speak again this time about his practice. He was surprised that Chris was actually inviting him to go watch his practice without putting up a fight like he normally would have before they started having sex with each other and being a couple.

 

Truly stunned for a moment he didn't speak, just sitting there before he finally found his voice. "Nick is supposed to pick me up after school. If he isn't busy." He admitted thinking about it for a moment. All of this seemed really strange. Having Chris seemingly want him around and to go to such things, and the fact that he had a boyfriend that wanted to and cared enough to take him to and from school. It was a nice feeling, but still a strange one.

Chris saw the frown on Daniels face not understanding why but as the other continued he sigh. He kind of started to hate Nick for spending all the free time with Daniel but then again he waa his boyfriend and not him. Wait. What did ge just thought? They were brothers. They couldnt be lovers. It wasnt normal.

 

"Oh ... alright ... no problem" he added pushing the food away from him getting up. "Well a few more hours and we are free for today. See you latter home bro" he said shufflyng his hair and heading outside.

Daniel watched Chris as he pushed his food away with a sigh only making his frown grow. Still, he wanted to spend time with his boyfriend and that was Nick. As Chris stood up to leave and mentioned seeing him at home before ruffling his hair and leaving the room he sighed himself. Since Chris had practice he figured he could make a nice hot meal for him when he got home since their parents were still gone on a business trip. They would be getting home the next day, but for tonight it left him to make sure Chris had something to eat after his long day.

 

That was fine, he didn't truly mind. Getting up from the table he took care of their trash before pulling out his phone and texting Nick the time he would be out of school. He hoped the older man would still be available to pick him up since he really did want to see him. Even if it was only for a little bit before he had to leave him again for work or whatever it was Nick was doing today.

After reaching home he started to calculate again tge reports of the past years along with what his father has given him for the new project to make it possible to raise some numbers in order to gain more trust. He didnt realized how time has passed until he got the message from Daniel, reminding him that he had to go and pick him up.

 

Finishing some last calculations he took his keys and went to his car to drive to Daniel. He was tired but he wanted to see tbe other and spend some time together even if it was for a few minutes.

 

Chris went to his practice with his other colleagues and tried to concentrate at the game but his mind was still wondering at Daniel. He didnt want to say aomething that might cause problems plus he didnt want to make Daniel unhappy and start fights between him and Nick, buy he hatted the fact that he was feeling that way. He was getting jealous of Nick.

After school Daniel waited for Nick where the older man had dropped him off. It didn't take to long for him to show up bringing a smile from Daniel as he slipped into the car. Instantly he leaned over to press his lips to Nick's in a deep kiss, "God I love you." He murmured flashing a smile. Looking him over he spoke, "You didn't go back and nap like you said did you?" He questioned raising an eyebrow but already knowing the answer. There was no point in pushing it though as he buckled up his mind going to how Chris had acted when he told him Nick was picking him up.

 

"Hey, Nick?" He asked glancing towards him. "Do you think it's possible for feelings towards someone to remain the same despite not having any of the memories that brought you those feelings to begin with?" Chris had been acting weird even for someone who had lost his memory. It was almost like Chris still had feelings for him and in a sense didn't like Nick and that was hard for Daniel to understand. "You don't think... that some part of Chris still doesn't like you or feels jealousy do you? He acted weird when he asked if I wanted to go to his practice but I told him you were picking me up so I couldn't. That and Chris never willingly invites me to his practices." He said wanting to see what Nick thought.

 

Surely his brother wasn't getting his memories back already. It didn't make any sense to him.

"Hey love" he said kissing the other feeling more relaxed as he started the engine and started driving to Daniels home. As he was listening the other he narrowed his eyes at first not understanding exactly what he was talking about but when Daniel mentioned Chris name he grabbed the wheel firmly. Was he really remembering about his feelings for daniel? Could it be that Chris loved Daniel even before the time he was now back to with his memory?

 

"I dont know" he said shortly than continued. "It could be possible if he felt that way even before all this time. His feelings may return and it is possible that that way he could remember all even quicker" he sigh. Thats not what he was planning. Everything was against him apparently. The fact that his father made him work with Louis and to go in a trip with him and now, Chris was starting to feel something, again, for Daniel. It was like the story was repeating itself.

Daniel watched the way Nick was reacting to what he had to say, noticing how his grip tightened on the steering wheel when he mentioned Chris' name. Reaching towards him he rested his hand lightly on his boyfriend's thigh rubbing it gently, "Don't worry about it to much. I'm sure I'm just reading to much into it. I mean... the point in time that Chris was thrown back in I was to busy running around flirting with everyone to pay much attention." He said trying to change the feeling that seemed to be in the air. It wasn't like he was lying, it had been up until he had started dating Chris that he had stopped running around flirting like he had. Even then it had really been the events that had unfolded with Kyle that had changed him.

 

Relaxing back against his seat he glanced towards Nick. "How was work?" He questioned wondering how the older man's day had gone. Daniel really wished he had been able to spend more time with Nick today, and he knew he'd make up his lack of time for both him and Chris another time. Part of him felt like his brother thought he just didn't have time for him with Nick and he wanted to make sure Chris knew that wasn't the case. At the same time he wanted to spend more time with Nick then just a few minutes together while he was taken to and from school.

Nick sighed as he remembered work. Knowing the Louis was now part of his team and that they had to work together it was exhausting him, but nevertheless he didn't want to let Daniel worry about it. He had already too much on his head.

 

"Apparently my dad wants me to travel by the end of the week for some paperwork. Even if i told him that i had plans he didn't cared" he shrugged keeping the car at a steady speed limit. "Even though i don't like it, it's the best payed job i had since highschool, so i have to obey him" he read his head on the seat as they stopped at red light.

 

"I just wish he could cut me some slack and have somebody else do it"

Daniel's gaze moved back to Nick when he mentioned that his father was making him go on a business trip at the end of the week. Frowning he had to admit that he didn't want Nick to go. However, he did understand it was his boyfriend's job. "I'll miss not having you by my side. Not to mention it'll be a long boring weekend without you." He was bummed by the news. He had been hoping they could spend another weekend together. A nice break from his school week. Now it seemed like he'd have to occupy himself somehow.

 

Still... maybe he could at least spend some more quality time with him before he went. With that thought he looked back to Nick, "Maybe we can spend the day before you leave together? Make up for when you're gone."

 

Now he was trying to figure out how he was going to get through the weekend. He figured with Nick gone he should probably spend time with Chris. After all Chris did seem to be acting weird whenever he didn't have time for him. "I'll probably just spend the weekend with Chris. Maybe he'll stop acting so weird after we spend time together."

As he thought. What else could Daniel do, and what could he say? Stay indoors? Don't go out with Chris or anything else that involves him? He couldn't. They were living in the same house and it was kind of impossible to ignore one another. Nick sigh keeping a small smile on his face, driving a little bit slowly, holding the moment longer.

 

"I'm so exhausted" he mumbled resting his head on the seat as he was waiting for the green light, holding Daniels hand in his. "Will you miss me during the weekend?" he asked without thinking than he bite his tongue. "I mean ... forget it" he shock his head trying to change the subject.

Daniel glanced towards his boyfriend a small frown crossing his face. "Nick." He said softly encouraging the older man to look at him with a slight squeeze of his hand. Leaning over he kissed him quickly not wanting to distract him even if they were at a red light. "Of course I'll miss you. I'd much rather spend my weekend with you." He responded.

 

Noting that Nathan had said he was exhausted he thought he'd at least offer for the older man to stay the night. "You could stay over instead of driving back home tonight. My parents are gone on a business trip, it would just be us and Chris home." Though Daniel made sure to put emphasis on them hoping that Nick would miss the part about his brother still being home.

"How could i refuse such an invitation" he said with a smirk on his face driving further as the light was green. "Good that i dont hace to sneak in the house for the moment" he laught pointing the fact that Daniels parents are out from home, remaining only Chris but wasnt worried.

 

"Any plans for tonight hangout with me?" He asked looking at the boy with the corner of his eye keeping that sexy smirk on his face.

Daniel perked up hearing that Nick would stay the night. He had to admit a part of him had been quite worried he'd be denied. "You'll have to help me figure something out for dinner but I won't make you do anything else." He mused with a small smile. Chris would most likely be home late because of practice, ago he wanted dinner done for when he did get home.

 

Drawn from his thoughts when he was asked about plans for tonight a small smirk crossed his face. "We could always have some fun as long as you behave." Daniel teased. "You know... cuddle, watch a scary movie that calls for more cuddling... then go up to my room and cuddle some more..." He started listing trying to make it sound innocent though he was sure Nick knew what was being implied.

" I like the cuddling idea ... That should be fun" he said laughing. "Watching a horror movie with a scary monkey like you will be interesting" he added parking the car in front of Daniels house, stopping the engine.

 

"Let's go ... I'm kind of hungry" he said walking towards the house, setting his phone on vibrating mode so that he wouldn't be interrupted. Who knows who could call him during the night and he didn't want to have to deal with it.

"I'll just hide behind you." Daniel replied with a large smile. He was easy to scare, especially when it came to scary movies, he'd have to watch the same one ten times in order to see the whole thing because he'd have his eyes closed through most of it. Still, it was a reason to be clingy and cuddle with Nick. So he was definitely up for watching a scary movie.

 

Once they were parked in the driveway he lead the way to the front door unlocking it and leading Nick inside. "What do you want for dinner? I can try to cook something or we can order something." Daniel said giving the options. He wasn't much if a cook and could successfully cook very little, but he'd try for Nick.

"I'm not very picky but for the sake of the moment, let's just order something" he said resting his body on the sofa in the living room looking for a scary movie. "I don't want you to burn the house and be blamed after" he added laughing finding the one that he needed, letting it rest on the table. The movie was "Nightmare on Elms Street" a Freddy Crooger movie. The guy was revenging his childhood trauma on the kid's families that burned him alive. He was like a boogie man, and he was killing you in your dreams. Once dead in your dream you would never woke again. Which means you were dead in real life.

 

"Now this will be fun" he said looking at Daniel. He saw all 7 movies which at first scared him and couldn't sleep for days but after he realized it was only a movie and nothing more. "No sleep for you tonight" he added keeping a sexy smirk on his face.

Sticking his tongue out childishly he reached for the phone to order some food for them. He knew Nick had a point, even if he hadn't actually caught the house on fire before. After he ordered the food he moved into the living room and reached for the movie Nick had picked just as his boyfriend spoke. Raising an eyebrow at the comment of no sleep for him he looked down at the movie.

 

He visibly cringed noticing what Nick had decided on. Despite his family owning them he had never watched any of them. Of course Daniel knew what they were about but he had avoided any of them until now. "Alright..." It was clear by his hesitation that he considered making Nick pick again. Still he walked over to the DVD player and put the disk in making sure the TV was on the right channel. Tossing the remote to Nick he wasn't far behind. Curling up on the couch and pressing himself snuggly against his boyfriend's side. "Food will be here in twenty minutes so we might as well start the movie."

Nick wrapped an arm around Daniel and kept him close to his chest pressing play on the remote from DVD, waiting for the movie to start. It was only after the intro and the creepy song that he heard the door bell which announced it that the food was there. Taking money from his jacket he opened the door, paying the amount and head back inside with the food which smelled divine.

 

He placed everything on the table and started eating looking at the screen from tv and after turning his eyes to Daniel which was curled up in the couch. "Are you not hungry anymore?" he asked with a small smirk on his face. Daniel was funny trying to be brave about scary movies and after looking so terrified by them. "We can watch something else if you want" he added sigh pushing a plate with food towards the boy.
