Feeling the respond in the kiss from Daniel, he pushed closer, pinning the other on the boat with no room of escape, not breaking the kiss. He missed his soft mouth, those tender lips of his, his gentle touch. Everything that was Daniel he had missed. Having his memory swept away and be around him just like a normal brother made him lung for a little touch, a kiss, even more. He knew that he was probably stretching the line into a thin one, and maybe he was about to cross it, but he didn't cared because no matter what, Daniel would be his forever.

 

With one hand he grabbed the others waist and pull it up in his lap, enjoying the warm touch of their bodies. It was like nothing had happened and they were living the moment of their lives together away from everyone's eyes. He needed him, he wanted him, he loved him more than everything in his entire life, and wasn't going to let him go.

 

Once more he squeezed Daniels body in his arms breaking the lustful kiss and moving down on his jaw, neck and shoulder with soft kisses and gentle bites, letting small marks on the flesh. "I am glad that your body didn't forget me" he whispered through kisses, pressing his hands on Daniels shoulders to feel him better, and damn it was good.

"What .... No making fun of me that i am a looser? No say 'I told you so' from you smart ass part?" said Nick bursting into a nervous laugh. "You know ... You are really a puzzle person ...." he said looking at Louis trying to smile and clearing his mind away from his negative thoughts. "You don't have to hold back for my sake. At least you 're the one who say things as they are" he added before getting out of the elevator and out on the streets breathing in the air.

"I really need that drink" he said smiling at the crowded streets.

Daniel's face flushed a deeper red when he was lifted and pulled into Chris' lap. He needed to put a stop to this, but their lips were still pressed together in a heated kiss. By the time it broke his breath was coming out quickly, just to feel his brother's hands on his shoulders. "Chris..." He groaned trailing off at the other's words. Of course his body never forgot his brother. Chris was the first person he had ever had sex with, was the first person his body had ever felt in such a manner. But he knew that he really couldn't allow this to continued. He could tell where it was going and despite how good it felt to be this close to his brother again he couldn't.

 

"I-I'm sorry... we can't." He managed to get out as he pushed himself away from Chris slightly. Averting his eyes not wanting to see the look he was sure was going to be in his brother's eyes. It wasn't like him to refuse Chris, but he couldn't. He had to be loyal to Nick, as of right now he was still with the older man and as much as he also loved Chris he couldn't hurt Nick like that again. He just... couldn't.

"Fine what do you want me to say, Nick? How Daniel and his brother are probably having sex somewhere right now while you are here on a business trip? How his mind probably isn't even on you but on his brother and how he's there constantly? You're losing him and you know it. If his brother has his memory back then he's probably fighting to regain what you had taken from him. Probably not even having to fight very hard. They say that a body remembers the touch of the one who had taken it for the first time. I'm guessing that's not you is it?" Louis said finally being the ass that Nick seemed to desperately be trying to pull from him.

 

"Oh yeah, drink all you want that'll fix things." He said sarcastically with an eye roll. Louis wanted to smack Nick upside the head right now, but he didn't. Instead he crossed his arms over his chest and glared at the man.

Being rejected by his brother was a first. He never said 'no' to him before so it was kind of intrigue. "It's because of Nick?" he asked still holding Daniel in his arms not wanting to let him go. He didn't want to lose him, even if that meant he will betray Nick once more. Daniel just couldn't belong to Nick. he wouldn't allow it. Clenching his teeth he grabbed Daniels hand holding it firm. "He is not here .... what he doesn't know it will not hurt him" he added but he knew that this was wrong but he continued. "I will not lose you again Daniel. I don't care if is Nick or anybody else. You are mine" he said firmly grabbing his brothers face in one hand and kissed him.

 

How did his brother changed so much? He wouldn't ever refuse him. In fact,he would have been the one that urged for his touch. Now all because of Nick this was happening. then we have to make Nick get out of the picture...he though releasing the boy and moving him to the side so that he can jump in the water again, leaving Daniel on the stair.

Hearing all that Louis said didn't even made him angry or something. He just kept his smile on and sigh waiting for the other tot finish. When Louis finish talking and he wanted to start talking the other spoke again about the drinking stuff.

"You're right , ok? And all that makes me hate you ... because you are right ... but ... Now I understand, and I am not drinking because of sorrow or anything. I just want a glass of a drink and that's all. We still have our meeting this afternoon so ... i think getting drunk is better for later" he smiled and start walking on the sidewalk with his hands in his jeans pockets.

"Are you comming?" he asked when he didn't saw the other beside him.

“Well… yeah he is my boyfriend.” Daniel replied when Chris asked him if it was because of Nick. What he wasn’t expecting was to be told that Nick wasn’t here and what he didn’t know wouldn’t hurt. As true as that probably was he knew it wasn’t right, and he had to be faithful no matter how tempting Chris was being. Hearing his brother once more tell him he was his made his heart skip a beat and his face flush once more. It never ceased to send pleasure through him hearing those words come from his brother. He loved hearing the way his brother always said those words and now was no difference as his face was grabbed firmly and he was kissed once more.

 

When he was set back to the side he watched Chris get back into the water and start swimming around again leaving him sitting there. Sighing softly, he didn’t follow his brother. Instead he got up and moved back onto the boat drying himself off. He still very much, loved Chris and found him attractive, but he couldn’t do this to Nick. He had to be faithful and make sure that Nick knew he could trust him alone with his brother. Especially since he had noticed it in his boyfriend’s eyes every time Chris was brought up. Nick didn’t trust him alone with his brother, and that hurt.

There was a part of Louis that truly felt bad for what he had said and seeing Nick agree with him made him frown. Did Nick really not have faith in Daniel? Or was there more to it that he didn’t know since he wasn’t an actual friend of the other? He figured it could be both and with that he said nothing as he followed behind Nick. He watched him as he saw the man get a drink before he sighed again and spoke. “I know we aren’t friend’s Nick but tell me something. What makes you think so negatively about your boyfriend and his brother? I mean you’re here thinking the worst, getting a drink before our big day and planning to get drunk later. Don’t you have any faith in your relationship?” He wanted to get into Nick’s head but not to fuck it up more, just trying to understand what he was thinking.

After swimming a little longer he returned on the boat drying himself up and getting dressed. The sun was slowly fading away and the cool air was not as pleasant as before. "We should head back" he said shortly starting to drive the boat back to the sore without any other word. It hurt him to be rejected but he wasn't going to give up. There was still time.

After a a sip of the drink he started to think of telling Louis what was on his mind. The fact that Chris regain his memory and the way he acted, the way he saved him at school before he even arrived at that day and the presumption that Chris got in the accident in the first place because of them two. Maybe he as heard that they were together that day, or even Daniel told him, he wasn't sure about. But the fact that Daniel was unsure about his feelings and the idea of wanting to keep them both, he told Louis everything. He had to talk to someone, even if that someone was the ass-whole from before.

 

"Now do you understand? That's why i told you , you were right" he added drinking his last glass looking at his watch. "We should head to the office" he added pointing the watch at his hand meaning they had to reach the meeting.

Aware of the fact this brother wasn't pleased that he had rejected him Daniel didn't argue when it came to going home. Slipping his shirt back on he settled himself down as Chris drove them back to the dock where they got off the boat. He made sure they had everything before following Chris back to the car. He felt bad rejecting him, and his body really hadn't wanted him to do so. But he had something to prove not just to Nick but also to himself. He wanted to prove that he could control himself and not so easily just jump at the opportunity to have sex. Even if it was with someone he had sex with before. As they were on their way back home he glanced towards his brother. "What do you want to do for dinner?" He asked curiously.

Louis listened as Nick explained everything to him and as to why he was thinking along the lines that he was. He understood now but he wanted to get something straight to the other man. "Nick listen, it's not unusual for someone to be attracted to and love more than one person. Have you ever thought that maybe you two competing for him like this is causing more problems then if you could both just accept the fact that you love the same person and that he also loves both of you?" It sounded strange sure. It was something he didn't fully condone considering he wouldn't want to be in that position himself. But he knew such things weren't uncommon, and he was sure that there were others in similar boats not just Nick.

 

At the mention of their meeting he nodded and followed after him, "Let's get going then." As they approached the car he glanced back towards Nick. "Just give the kid the benefit of the doubt." He added as he slipped into the car that had been brought to the front of the hotel for them.

"You can order something ... Not in the mood of cooking dinner today" he said shortly continuing driving. His mood got bad since they drove away from the docks. Just didn't want to let go of Daniel, even if it was for his ex-friend or just because Daniel wanted. He was hurt to see the other rejecting him but being happy in the arms of other.

 

As they got home and Chris parked the car he left his jacket at the entrance and headed to his room. "I'll go first in the shower" he said along the way up.

"Since when did you become so wise ?" asked Nick laughing looking at Louis as they got in the car, heading towards the building where they had the meeting. "You always were against Daniel telling me all kinds of stuff and now when I'm saying that you were right you change into a wise old man" he continued laughing not believing his eyes and ears. Louis was telling him to trust Daniel. When did he end in a parallel universe?

Frowning he looked away from his brother his eyes going to the scene outside the car window. He didn’t know why Chris had to act this way, it hurt him to see and hear the way his brother was regarding him. Why did his brother have to make this so hard and depressing? He wanted to be faithful, wanted to prove a point and yet Chris knew how to make him feel guilty. When they got home he followed Chris inside feeling his heart sink more as his brother didn’t even spare him a look before heading upstairs and saying he was going to shower first.

 

“Okay.” He murmured heading into the kitchen to order some food and trying to ignore how hurt he felt. He knew he was hurting Chris too by rejecting him, but he couldn’t do what his brother said. He couldn’t have such a relationship with him behind Nick’s back, he wouldn’t feel right doing that. Making the call he tried to change his upset tone when the person picked up the phone, ordering some food before hanging up and going into the living room to wait for Chris to finish in the shower so he could wash up as well.

Louis glanced towards him and shrugged, “I wasn’t telling you not to trust him, I was telling you what kind of a guy he is. Look, I know guys like Daniel, and I know guys like you. Just because Daniel enjoys what he does and has had sex with both of you doesn’t mean he’d throw away your relationship so easily. This is your guys second chance to make this work. The first time you tossed your relationship away because of the crowd you were hanging out with. I am sure he is determined not to just toss this one away either.” He explained as if it was obvious.

 

“I’m not old!” He complained as Nick laughed again. “What I still don’t understand is why you are so attached to him anyway. You’ve told me how Chris always wins so you weren’t fighting for him, something you are doing again right now. You explained to me what was bothering you and the current problem with Chris. What you haven’t told me is what is drawing you to Daniel to begin with. He acts like a kid in many ways almost like he has always had someone there to look over him, he has an overly flirty personality, and it’s honestly a miracle that he hasn’t gotten himself into more trouble with guys.” Louis said wanting to know more. He needed more detail from the man.

The shower was a quick one so he managed to get dress and walk downstairs before the food came and sat on the sofa looking at his brother. After a soft sigh he changed his mood. "What did you ordered?" he asked opening the Tv and changing the channels one after another not sure what to watch. "Sorry for earlier .... I may have step over the line" he said still looking at the Tv as he was apologizing, feeling uncomfortably.

"I don't know ..... its just the fact that he makes me feel good whenever he is around and he gives me this feeling of wanting to protect him" he said turning his gaze out the window at the streets that were passing by on their way to the office. "You know ... the feeling of wanting to protect someone and at the same time love them for who they are. Not pretending to be someone they are not in front of you just so that you be pleased" he added turning his eyes to Louis. "Even though I have my age , i still care about this things" he smiled gently looking at his phone feeling his fingers twitch wanting to write another message to Daniel.

Daniel sat quietly in the living room waiting for Chris to come back so he could go shower. He didn’t bother turning the TV on not caring anymore. When Chris did return Daniel got to his feet and moved towards the stairs, “Pizza. Figured it would be quick delivery.” He replied as he moved towards the stairs just to be stopped by his brother’s next words. He glanced back towards him a little surprised. Glancing away he sighed, “It’s fine.” He didn’t know what else to say. Heading upstairs he gathered some clean clothes to change into and moved into the bathroom.

 

He took a long shower, relaxing under the hot spray. Since Chris had already gotten into the shower he didn’t have to worry about using all the hot water. By the time he dragged himself out of the shower and got dressed, he knew the pizza had already arrived, but he wasn’t hungry. Still he went downstairs and sat on the couch across from his brother as he stared at whatever Chris had put on. For a few minutes he just sat there not speaking before he finally did decide to say something, “I love you. I hope you know that.” He wanted Chris to know that, and he hoped that his tone showed just how deeply he loved his brother. But he had to do this for Nick and to prove that he could be trusted.

Listening as he was told why he was with Daniel and how the other made him feel he nodded. “You aren’t old, Nick. He’s only a few years younger than you after all.” Even though he could tell from the camping trip that Daniel did tend to act younger than he was, he still didn’t find Nick old. The man was only a few years older if he remembered what Jack had told him after all. “Well, it’s a good thing that you have someone that you care about.” Sparing a glance towards Nick as he drove he noticed how he was looking at his phone and the way his fingers twitched before he looked back at the road not keeping his eyes off the road for very long. “Go ahead and message him. You still have time before we get there if you even want to call.” Louis said.

As the delivery guy got with the pizza while Daniel was in the shower, Chris payed the man and started eating not waiting for the other. He was too hungry. Those snacks didn't help him much. His stomach was hurting to much for him to wait.

When Daniel came downstairs he said those words he just felt a knife in his chest. How could he say that now?

"But not in the same way as before, right?" he said sighing taking another bite from his pizza while buttoning the remote on the Tv. "It's fine ... I get it .... You love me but just like a brother ..." he added trying to smile. Maybe he was erased from Daniels heart and now the one he loved was only Nick. Did he really lost him?

"Neah ... I will call him after the meeting" he said as if he was woke from a dream, smiling slightly, than narrowed his eyes at something that Louis said to him. "You still didn't find that one person hugh?" he asked looking at Louis waiting for a respond but the driver announced them that they arrived at their location.

 

Getting out of the car, he arranged his closed, preparing himself for this meeting which had to be a success in order for his fathers company to expand. It was a big deal and the customer was a well know name on the market.

Daniel frowned when Chris spoke, he had thought his voice would have said what he didn’t feel like he currently could. “No.” He said confused. “That’s not what I meant.” He added shaking his head. He loved his brother, true, but not just as a brother. That hadn’t changed. “I love you, not just as my brother. That won’t ever change, Chris.” He said trying hard to be honest without saying too much. He wanted his brother to know that he loved him, but he was afraid that if he said to much that he would once more encourage something that he just couldn’t allow right now.

 

Pulling his legs up underneath him he watched his brother. “No matter what, Chris, I will always love you. Being with Nick doesn’t change that.” Chris was on his mind a lot, the relationship they had, the way his brother made him feel. All of that still meant a lot to him and was something he wasn’t going to forget. It just came down to the fact that he couldn’t be with them both at the same time despite really wanting that. Daniel knew he was going to have to choose eventually, but he really didn’t think he could.

“If you say so.” Louis replied as he relaxed against the seat letting his eyes drift shut for a moment. A small smirk crossed his face when he heard Nick spoke. No, he still hadn’t found someone. He was still the kind of guy that enjoyed having multiple partners, enjoying the variety until those men decided to move onto more serious relationships and found the right guys for them. He enjoyed that kind of lifestyle even if he knew it wasn’t for everyone.

 

As he slipped out of the car he made sure his clothes were straight before following Nick knowing this was important. He just hoped everything went smoothly, though he adopted a cool and confident attitude that it would. There wasn’t any reason for him to believe otherwise as of right now anyway.

"But you know you can't have us both Daniel" he said in a sigh letting the slice pizza on the table looking at his brother. "We are not some kind of toys that you can play whenever you want, changing from one to another" he added massaging his forehead, feeling a little dizzy. he used his brain/memory to much in just one day and he needed a rest. Daniel had to make a choice, where was him or Nick. There couldn't be any delay on it. He just couldn't stay and watch as he kissed Nick and all and bet the other wasn't ok with that idea either.

As they arrived at the meeting room, Nick took his professional mask on and started the presentation with all the papers that he brought and lend to the others at the table so that they can fallow him along the presentation and to see the matrix of the numbers as well for benefits and profit. After 2 long hours in which he talked and informed the others in the room about what was the offer about and all the needed information he was now waiting for a respond from the others. They had to step outside the office to let the others talk between them.

 

"Was it alright?" he asked Louis as they were outside the room waiting to be call back in.

"I know that." Daniel said his tone came off frustrated this time. Almost on the verge of angry, and he hadn't meant for it to. Why did Chris have to make that comparison? He knew they weren't toys, and he had already been told multiple times that he couldn't have them both. He felt what little resolve he had shatter. This wasn't fair. It wasn't fair that he loved two people so much and was being forced to choose. Getting up he spoke, "I'm going to bed." He didn't want to pick right now. He couldn't. Daniel knew he would have to make a choice, but deep down he knew that no matter what he was going to hurt someone. That was what made this all harder than anything. Turning he went up to his room closing his door softly behind him before he climbed into bed. The first tear fell as he pulled his blanket over him. He didn't want to make a mistake, but he didn't want to hurt anyone.

 

There was an emptiness that settled itself deep in his chest, he felt like he was never going to be completely happy with how things were going. Wiggling his way so far under his blanket that he was just curled up under them in the middle of the bed he finally stilled. He wasn't sure how long he laid there for, tears streaming down his face as he struggled to come to terms with the fact that he'd have to choose and apparently much sooner than he thought.

"Yes. You did it perfectly." Louis replied giving Nick a small smile. He was sure that he wouldn't have been able to do any better. Especially since he had to admit even if he didn't look like it, but the men and woman in the room were intimidating. Maybe it was more of the name they were representing as to why it came off that way. He waited a little nervously next to Nick but it wasn't to long before they were called back into the office to hear what they had decided.

Chris placed his head in his hands not knowing what else to do or to say to Daniel as the other was leaving the room. It was too much for him to handle after his memories got back. He thought that all will go back to normal, to the way they used to be, but apparently it was far more difficult than he thought. Knowing that he upset his brother with his comments he walked after him and stopped in front of the door, not knowing what to say at first.

 

Biting his lip he opened the door slowly and closed it behind him not wanting to make any particular noise. "Are you asleep?" he asked thinking that probably his brother was tired and really felt asleep right away. But a part of him knew that that wasn't the case here. The other was mad at him. Sighing he moved towards the bed, and got on it behind Daniel, wrapping his arm around the boys waist, pulling him to his chest. "I'm sorry" he said in a whisper, keeping his forehead leaned on Daniels back.

When the door opened and they were asked to get back in the room, Nick hat a knot in his throat feeling like he was going to be sick, but apparently the answer was a positive one. They accepted to do business with the company and signed the contract with no other demanding. This was a huge success. After the parties had left the office Nick has hugged Louis so hard, being supper happy that they made it. "Yess!! We made it! We got them!!" he said happy letting go of Louis after a moment of realization of what he was doing. "Sorry .... I got to enthusiastic" he laughed nervously losing his tie from neck.

"Go away." Daniel murmured when he heard Chris ask him if he was sleeping. His eyes were closed and he laid so he was facing the wall, his back to his brother. A moment later he felt the bed dip right before he felt arms wrapping around his waist and pulling him close. There was a frustrated part of him that wanted to struggle against the hold. But he couldn't bring himself to do so.

 

Those arms had been a comfort to him to many times to count and they still were. "I don't want to hurt anyone." Daniel murmured in response to the apology. As much as he knew he had to pick he didn't want to hurt anyone. It was a hard choice to make and he still found the whole thing unfair.

Louis was happy that it had gone well and the contract was signed with no demands being made. What stunned him was the strong arms wrapping around him in a tight hug that he truly hadn't thought Nick was capable of. He laughed softly at the apology he received, "It's alright." He had honestly found the reaction quite cute.

 

He was glad that Nick was happy with the result. It meant they would have good news for the man's father when they returned home. "I'm going to say this weekend was a nice success. Now let's head out and enjoy the city a bit."

"I know" he said in a whisper keeping their bodies together in that way, not moving an inch. That was all what he needed. To have Daniel along side him and not be rejected by the other. He couldn't understand how the other was feeling exactly. He never loved two people in the same time and in the same way but he didn't want to hurt his brother either. How many compromises does he have to do in order for the other to be happy?

 

"Just get some rest. Tomorrow is another day" he added closed his arms even more around Daniel, resting his head on the pillow next to the other, laying like that, and trying to get some sleep. It was a long day and they needed a rest.

"This was a great day" he said sighing as they were getting out of the room and into the elevator. He really did end up a contract with a big company. His dad will be so proud of him. Finally he will see that he is a good worker and that he can run the business. The last thing he had to do now was to head back home and hand over the contract to his father.

 

"I feel like celebrating" he said smiling all happy getting out of the elevator and out on the streets. "Where should we go now?" he asked Louis turning around to look at him. "I'm kind of hungry too" he added holding his hand over his stomach.

Daniel just laid there silently in his brother’s arms. A comfort being provided that he just didn’t want to give up, there was a sense of safety being provided by Chris at this point. When he was told to get some sleep there really wasn’t any argument from him. He was mentally and emotionally drained, not really sure he could take anything else today. Too much had happened in such a short amount of time.

 

He could feel Chris getting comfortable behind him, the other’s arms never leaving him. In an attempt to make sure Chris stayed even more he put his hand over his brother’s. He fell asleep not long after, it was familiar. Sleeping in his brother’s arms like that. It meant he slept peacefully through the night; his dreams weren’t plagued with the decision he had to make. Instead they were on the relationship he had with his brother before the accident, before Chris started hunting for his real parents. Long before everything became difficult.

Louis gave Nick a small smile, “Let’s go out get a nice meal and celebrate then.” He said leading the way out of the building and back towards the car. He knew a great place they could go, having pulled out his phone while they were in the elevator and looking up a few different places. It was a bit on the pricy side but he didn’t mind, “I’ll even treat.” He added giving Nick another smile.

“Let’s go out get a nice meal and celebrate then.”

 

"Thank sound really good" he said smiling arranging his jacket. "I'm starving" he added holding a hand around his stomach as they were walking on the sidewalk, enjoying the fresh air and the feeling of a good job done. Hearing that Louis will treat the meal his smile went even larger.

"Now that's even a more chearfull information" he said starting to push Louis from behind to walk faster. "What are we waiting for then" he added laughing. He was having fun. He did a good job with the project, now Louis was treating the meal, this day wasn't going to get any better. It was just the perfect reward.

Louis couldn't help but laugh when he felt Nick's hands on his back pushing him faster down the street. "Okay, okay I'm going." He chuckled out as he tried to keep up with the pace Nick was setting from behind him. Though he liked how eager the other was for them to have a meal together and maybe a few drinks to celebrate he still wanted to make sure they picked a nice place. After passing up a few places that they had passed he finally decided on a place. It seemed to be on the more expensive side just from the front of the restaurant but he did not remotely care. "I think this place will do nicely. Places like this also tend to see some good drinks." He said turning his gaze to Nick before leading the way inside.

 

After telling the server that they needed a table for two he followed the woman towards the table taking a seat and waiting for Nick to do the same. Once the menus were set down before them he dismissed the waitress before she could ask what they would like to drink. They could take their time and figure that out, for right now he wanted to look over both the menu and the new way Nick was acting.

"If you say so" he said shrugging his shoulders smiling, feeling his stomach getting eager to get some food. It didn't care what kind. At least he stopped with the strange noises.

As the walked inside he looked around at the fancy decorations. It was as style restaurant and very classy. Letting off his coat at the wardrope he fallowed Louis and the lady to their table. Table for two ... sound like a date night .... ah stop it Nick .... Louis changed ... He will not make anything more. HE is friend, his mind started to comment as they sat down and started looking at the menu.

With the corner of his eye he saw how Louis dismiss the lady quickly before ordering. She was kind of attracted to him. Who wouldn't ... he is not ugly or something ... just an ass on most of the time, he added i his mind. Turning his gaze back in the menu he started reading the list of cocked food.

"You were kind of mean to her" said Nick without thinking and after he bite his tongue for speaking his mind. Sighing he left the menu to the side looking at Louis.

"She was admiring you, more to say fantasizing about you in her mind and you just pushed her away. Poor girl" he leaned on his arms on the table putting a small smile on his face.

Louis looked up from the menu when he heard Nick speak telling him he had kind of been mean to the girl. "So?" He questioned raising an eyebrow. He didn't really see why it mattered, "And she'll probably come back and try again." Louis added as he turned his attention once more to the menu though he noticed how Nick leaned on the table and towards him a bit. If he didn't know any better he might get the wrong impression from the other man. He was trying to behave himself as far as Nick went, but he knew how girls were as well. They for some reason reacted to him being a jerk more than if he was a nice guy.

 

"She probably fantasises about most male customers." Louis added a bit offhandedly as well. After a moment he set his own menu down once more before turning his gaze back to Nick. "Besides, I'm not interested, and I highly doubt you're interested in her either. So there isn't any reason to lead the poor girl along. Anyway, go ahead and order whatever you want. It is my treat after all." He didn't care for the girl and he wouldn't encourage her to and let her think she stood a chance. Louis also didn't worry about money, or how much they spent tonight.

"You cannot blame her ... I mean .... She doesn't know that you like the back door" he added biting his lips trying not to laugh at what he said, even if that kind of put him in the same boat.

"She probably fantasizes about most male customers."

"That's the least she can do. Let's face it, even us are looking at beautiful things from time to time or when we get the chance" he said opening one more time the menu to reassure that he read correctly what he wants.

"I will have duck with orange sous. Sounds interesting" he put it aside. "And for drink I'll let you pick it" he shrugged smiling, turning his eyes around in the room, inspecting the place and trying to memorize the details. It was a fine place, too much for him but who was he to complain.

He had to admit that Louis didn't had bad tastes in this kinds of things. Returning his eyes back at Louis he started to analyse him. He is rather stiff sometimes, like he can never relax. Not even when he acts like a total ass. That's not who he really is .... I bet there is another side of him which he keeps hidden and that is too bad...

A smirk crossed Louis' face when he heard Nick speak, chuckling softly. "That's true. But that doesn't always deter them either." There were some girls out there who seemed to think that they could turn any guy straight if just given the chance." He responded with a smile before he leaned back against his seat. He noticed how Nick looked back at the menu before speaking and telling him what he wanted. He knew it wasn't a bad choice at all, and nodded his agreement. That did sound good but he had decided as well. Hearing that Nick was going to leave what to drink to him another smile crossed his face, "Then I hope you like wine. It's a nice compliment to the food here. If you don't they do offer a number of ales." He added as he made a motion that was clearly to signal the waitress that they were ready to order.

 

When she did return he spoke, ordering what Nick wanted, ordered steak and lobster for himself and a glass of wine for each. He didn't drink wine that often, but when he did it was normally only at restaurants like this. After their orders were placed he sent her back on her way and didn't spare her so much as another glance turning his gaze back to Nick. Noticing the way the other was watching him made him give Nick a questioning look. "Do I have something on me?" He asked glancing over himself trying to figure out why the other was watching him like that.

Nick blinked a few times when he heard the other speak. Caught red handed he blushed a little. He just didn't realized that he was staring at him that much.

"Sorry .... no ... i was just ... spacing out" he lied leaning back on the chair trying to find a more comfortable way to sit. Unfortunately there wasn't one when someone was looking at you like Louis was. It was making him feeling weird. He had a strange intense look that he hatted it.

"Stop looking at me like that. I WAS just spacing out about ... stuff" he added not wanting to say that it was about him. That would have sound too weird.
