Daniel frowned when he heard his brother's rather harsh words. Demanding that he open the door or he'd break it down. He had been able to hear the anger, and he rolled over slightly, giving his door a tired look. The last thing he wanted to do was get up and unlock the door, or let his brother in. But he knew that their parents would not be happy if Chris really did break his door to come in. Hesitantly, and using what little strength he seemed to have after a sleepless night and crying he untangled himself from his blanket and slowly slipped out of the bed. He rubbed his wet eyes once more, and then his face trying to make it less apparent that he had not only slept little but had been crying. He had just made it to his door and reached for the doorknob when he heard his brother's voice again. This time it was his brother demanding that he talked to him. For a second his hand pulled away from the doorknob feeling like he shouldn't let his brother in after all.

 

Standing there for a moment and not having said anything he finally sighed and unlocked his bedroom door. Opening it he came face to face with his brother. Giving the other man a look that clearly stated he really wasn't in the mood for this. "Just go to school." His voice was tired, clearly he had no intention of going himself. Turning away from Chris he returned to his bed, crawling beneath the blanket and curling up again.

Once more the attractive blush that he loved so much was making an appearance on Nick's face. Louis couldn't help the pleased look that crossed his own before he moved further into the kitchen as Nick turned back to the table. "You're so cute in the morning, Nick." He admitted with a genuine smile. He also gave the other an encouraging look, silently stating that the other man shouldn't change anything just because he was here.

 

"You didn't have to make me breakfast as a thank you. You're thanking me enough with our date later." Louis added as he settled himself at the table, careful to make sure he gave Nick some space even if he really just wanted to lean over and kiss him. For a moment he ate in silence with the other man before he couldn't help how cute and embarrassed the other was being anymore. Slowly he stood up and moved closer to Nick. His eyes had a gentle look on them as he looked down at the other man. For a moment he bit his lip before he finally acted on what he had wanted to do so bad last night when he had seen that blush for the first time. Dipping his head down he gently pressed their lips together, giving Nick a chance to push him away or even smack him. He hoped the little passion he was able to put into it while keeping it light would let Nick know truly how much he cared and found him attractive.

Chris widened his eyes when he saw his brothers face.Eyes were swollen because of too much crying and also black circles from not enough sleep. he had been crying all night ... and i didn't hear a damn thing , he bite his lip suppressing the urge to ran out the door an head to Nick's house to beat the shit out of him.

"What happened?" he asked exhaling slowly, trying to calm himself but it was quite hard. At first he didn't moved from the door way but as his brother returned to his bed, he made a few steps in the room, keeping his distance.

Why would he say such cheesy things to me? It makes me feel even worst. How could he say such words to a guy t hat he knew only for a few weeks. Ok, maybe months. Or the hell with all of this ... the point is how can he .... and why do i feel so damn wird ... why do his words affect me this much .... I don't want to thing of this ... its crazy .... he is Louis ... its nothing .... yes he cared about me and stayed along my side and everything , but how could i trust him? how could i trust him when i don't even know him ... and again why does he have to be so damn cut when he smiles, his mind was blowing all those questions as he was eating trying to ignore the other. He didn't even realized when he got up and approached him only when he was already near him, because it made a small shadow. Lifting his head was the perfect movement for Louis to take advantage and press his lips on his. His mind went blank, leaving him stare at the other, not knowing how to react exactly.

The fork and knife were dropped in the plate, lifting his hands on Louis's chest, trying to push him away, but not trying so hard. It was like he pretended to push him away but actually asking for more.

The sensation his lips had given him was indescribable. His entire body warm up, letting an electric shiver run down his spine. "Mgh ..." soft sound escape his mouth.

When he heard his brother ask him what had happened he felt his body shake with a sob once more. Right now, it truly felt like he was never going to get over this. Like the hole he felt in his heart was going to become a permanent part of him. A permanent ache that he would be unable to escape from. "Nick broke up with me." He murmured, not turning to look at his brother, not moving to get out from under his blankets. He didn't want to face Chris, he honestly didn't want his brother to see him like this. But... there wasn't anything he could do about it now. He still couldn't believe that the other's reasoning had been because he wasn't good for him. He had thought Nick was, and he had given the man a second chance. After this... Daniel knew he'd never give him another chance.

 

Despite what had happened he wanted to still think he could be friends with Nick. But right now he knew he didn't want to see him again, at least not for awhile. Curling back up against the wall he shifted to uncover his head from his blanket. Slowly glancing towards Chris. "You should just get ready for school." He murmured trying to get his brother to focus on something other than him.

Louis was surprised when the only resistance he got from Nick was the other lightly pushing against his chest. It wasn't much of an actual attempt to get him to stop. The soft sound that escaped Nick only pleased Louis more as he deepened the kiss. Leaning into it more. Reaching up to cup the other's cheek, rubbing his thumb gently against it as they kissed. When he broke the kiss he looked down into the other's eyes. His own shinning happily, "I'm sorry... this was a bit sudden wasn't it?" He asked wondering if he had moved to fast despite Nick not really having objected. "I guess I should be a real gentleman and have waited until after our first date." He added rubbing the back of his neck.

Turning his hands into fists he could feel his nails poercing in the palm of his hand, when his brother confirmed what he though.that son of a bitch ... how could he, he tought bitting his lower lip to not tell or swear in any way possible.

"How can i go to school when you are in this state" he said raising his voice a little. He was angry, but not on Daniel but on Nick.

Nick blinked a few times when Louis broke the kiss and spoke to him. sudden .... SUDDEN!!! fuck my life!!! Jesus christ ... you just fucking kissed me, when we dodnt get along, and you say it was sudden!!!

His mind was running and running but all he could articulate was a few worda.

"You...You said you'll behave" he narrowed his eyes pointing the finger at him. "This is defently not behaving" he continued biting his lip for not cursing or anything. His heart started beating lile crazy, that he thought the other could hear it.

Daniel wasn't pleased to hear his brother wasn't going to get ready for school. He could hear it in the older man's voice, that he was angry. Even if Daniel knew it wasn't with him, this was exactly what he was trying to avoid. "Just don't worry about it." He murmured turning his gaze back to the wall and letting his eyes drift shut again. Daniel felt like Chris should be fine, that he should just get ready to school and leave him be. But there was something deep down that knew it wouldn't be that easy. Chris would worry about it, he'd feel angry about it. Because at the very least he was his brother. He was also aware of how his brother had gotten his feelings for him back, and he had to assume seeing him like this both as his brother and as someone who loved him had to hurt him as well. Daniel just hoped it didn't hurt nearly as much as he hurt.

Louis pouted when Nick spoke, almost scolding him for kissing him. "B-but..." He murmured trailing off, "How can you expect me to behave when you keep blushing. You're to cute to deny when you blush and... you didn't push me away so was I really misbehaving?" He asked. Louis didn't like that Nick apparently saw what he did as "misbehaving" when he had just acted on what they both had clearly wanted. Nick had not pushed him away, he had made a cute little noise which had only encouraged him.

 

Still giving the other a pout he glanced down at the floor trying to make it look like he really was sorry. "You were just looking so cute I couldn't help it. I'm sorry... I... won't do it again." He murmured trying to sound like he really was sorry and that he had just had a lapse in control. Louis of course really did want to kiss Nick again, and he wanted to run his hands over the other man. But... if Nick didn't want him to kiss him, or thought that what he had done had been him misbehaving he'd try his best to behave.

"Damn it Daniel" he sight rushing his hand through his hair trying to calm himself. "I dont want to leave you alone. Not in this state" he added being worried. Nick will have to pay for it. He just didnt know how to handle his brother in that situation.

"Its not my fault that i blush because of what you say" he say turning his face to the other side brushing one hand through his hair sighing. "I am not used to being complimented or whatever you did" he said still embarased. "Its not that i didnt like ... stop you or anything but ... argh ... your ... you're different and i like it , dont get me wrong, but i am still trying to get used to your real you" he started to babble.

He heard his brother speak, at first he was expecting his brother to yell or get demanding again but instead he just expressed not wanting to leave him alone when he was like this. For a moment he didn't react. Daniel just remained lying there, eyes shut and pressed against the wall once more tightly wrapped around in his blanket. After a moment his eyes drifted open and he glanced over his shoulder to Nick. Watching his brother for a moment, before he carefully untangled himself. What he did next was a surprise to himself, but he held his arms out towards his brother in a silent way of saying he wanted Chris to join him. His heart still ached, and he was still very much upset. But he wanted to have someone close, someone he could fall to, someone he could rely on. Chris had always been there for him before, and he could really use his brother being there for him now.

Louis was oddly pleased to hear that Nick thought he was different and liked it. But was confused when he was told that the other man was trying to used to the real him. "But I thought you wanted the real me? Doesn't that mean you want me to react when I feel a strong feeling for you? Kiss you when you're to adorable to deny? Tell you how cute you look, and compliment you?" He asked raising an eyebrow. As glad as he was that Nick seemed to like the real him, he was having a hard time with the fact that Nick apparently was struggling to get used to the real him. The other man had told him numerous times that he wanted to know this side of him. It was unfair to think he was now being told he was being to sudden or that he was misbehaving.

 

This wasn't misbehaving to him, it was who he was. The real him had absolutely no problem kissing a guy he was attracted to when that man was being far to cute to ignore. Didn't have a problem complimenting them and letting them know how adorable and cute he thought they were. It was who he really was. If Nick truly wanted to get to know this side of him, he'd have to get used to such things and quickly. Reaching out he cupped the other's cheek making it so their eyes locked. "I'm sorry if I'm moving to fast. But I can't help it with you. You're to cute, and that adorable flush when you're embarrassed makes it even harder for me to behave. But if... you need time to try to get used to this side of me I suppose I can try harder to control myself and not be so open with my feelings and desires. I'll behave... the best that I can."

Chris looked at his brother when he reached his hand out so he took it and slide under the blanket, pulling him in his embrace. "Come here" he said in a low voice keeping him at his chest.

"God Louis .... i said that i am not used to be complimemted because no one did it until now" he started saying sighing. He wasnt angry or anything. It was nice that he thought those things about him and all, yes, the kiss was a little suddem but he didnt dislike it. He liked it.

 

"I like this side" he said quickly as he was looking into his eyes not being able to look other way. "I lile your crazyness, the fact that you always get me angry but at the same time amused. Its strange how this works for me apparently, but i like your both sides" he said, letting a small smile appear in the corner of his mouth.

Daniel was happy that Chris didn't wait long before joining him. Slipping beneath his blanket with him and pulling him close. Resting his head on his brother's chest he let his eyes drift shut, shifting slightly to wrap his arms around his brother. Though Daniel was still very upset, at least this was something that made him feel at ease. He was able to relax even if only slightly in his brother's arms. A sense of comfort that he was used to getting only with his brother was falling over him. This was nice. Part of him wondered why he hadn't gone to his brother last night but he knew the answer. Because he hadn't wanted anyone to see him hurt like this, and had wanted to face it on his own. Right now though, he wish he had gone to Chris sooner. His brother really did seem to know how to make him feel a little better even if it was just them cuddling in this manner.

Louis gave the older man a slightly sad look when he said he wasn't used to being complimented. "Well, I'll definitely be changing that then." He replied as he watched Nick. There was no way he was going to let that continue. He wasn't going to let Nick continue to go around and not be complimented all the time, especially when he was being cute or was doing something worth being cute.

 

There eyes were locked on each other and he listened as he was told he liked this side of him. But was surprised to hear that Nick liked every side of him. "Good, I'm glad that you like both sides of me. Because of course they both come together." He mused leaning forward to give Nick a quick kiss. "Now lets finish breakfast, then we can discuss what we are going to do together this afternoon." He added flashing a large smile before he returned to his seat. Though he did sit closer to Nick this time, clearly happy with the other man.

The smile on nicks face remained there for the whole time they eat. It was strange, but having him around did made him feel happy, sane, and also curious of what will happen next. He was curious also about their date.

 

"Sooooo .... what do you have in mind for today?" He asked playing with his food. Not being in control for once was perfect, but he could be also too stressed if he had surprized plans.

Of course Louis was pleased that the smile on Nick's face never left. It was nice to see him smile, and see he him being so happy. This was something he honestly couldn't say he remembered seeing. Even during the camping trip this was a side of Nick that had not been present before. As they neared the end of breakfast he heard Nick speak, asking him what he had in mind for today. For a moment he was silent thinking it over, "Well I mean we could be all sappy and take a trip to the zoo. Have a nice lunch after, or even a nice dinner depending on how long we can occupy ourselves there. Or we could take a different approach, go on a short road trip to a museum a few miles away. It's about two hours there and back, I've heard it's supposed to be nice." He mused naming two things as he glanced towards Nick.

 

After a moment he spoke again, "We could just do an expensive lunch, go for a long walk. Maybe go see a movie. Though honestly I think it'd be really cute to get a picture of you with some of the animals at the zoo." He said winking at the older man. It really would be cute for them to be a bit more childish and take a trip to the zoo. Not to mention he would definitely need to get tons of pictures to remember the moment. "But in the end, I don't mind as long as you're happy. I haven't seen such a smile on your face before and I intend to keep it there."

"The zoi idea sounds great" he said cleaning his plate and rest form table turning to the sink and starting to wash them. "And just for the record, i will not be a zoo atraction " he pointed out knowing he will act like a total kid at the zoo. He never got the chance to go to the zoo. Once the school made a trip but he had to stay home and look after his step brother. Yes, he had a step brother from his father side. Thats why his mother ran away when he was a child but in the end died to soon in a supposed car accident. He always blamed his fathet for that. And even if he stayed with him all the res of years and was now working with him, he didnt liked his father. He hatted him, and his step brother. Thats why he moved from their house away and alone, not wanting to have anything to do with him. He never saw his step brother since he was a 10 year child. After that women moved away taking that child with her.

 

"Anyway ... i look forward for the .. date" he said making himself busy with the dishes. Ge was trying to get used to this feeling but also he wanted to take things slow. Louis wasnt that much of a help in that matter but he couldnt argue that he didnt liked it. He was too complicated, too fucked up for anyone to understand him.

Louis gave Nick a smile when he agreed to them going to the zoo. "Great. It'll be fun." He mused. He really was looking forward to it. Not to mention going to the zoo was something a lot of couples did, so it wasn't like it would be strange for them to go. That and he truly did enjoy it, it was nice to wander around and see the different animals. Enjoy being out in the warm weather and talking. As Nick cleared the table and started to do the dishes he spoke once more, "Make sure you wear something light. It's supposed to be a really nice day." Perfect in his opinion. Today really was turning out to be a great day, even if it had technically just started.

 

"So am I." Louis replied with a genuine smile hearing that Nick was looking forward to their date. He was as well, and it would be nice to spend some time with Nick in a laid back setting. In the end, he hoped that this date would make Nick even more comfortable with them possibly being a thing. Louis after all would definitely be complimenting the other quite a bit and taking pictures to commemorate their first date.

"Ok ... thank i'll take a shower and get dressed" he said after finishing Louis dish as well and headding to the stairs to go up in tge bathroom. "It will not take long and we can got to your place to change aswell or you can go now and i will wait for you here" he said leaning against the staircase wall looking at him.

 

Having him there was making him intimidated and all thoughts running in his mind. The camp images return in his head, from the time when they had sex and made him feel a little strange not understanding why there was that effect on him. Breathing deep he tried to calm down his nerves.

maybe at the zoo he will try again to kiss me ... or after , home ... or at the restaurant ... omg! Why do i think about this???

 

"So ... what do you do? Wait or head home and come back?"

"I'll wait. It's not that big of a deal." Louis replied when he was asked what he was going to do. He didn't mind waiting for Nick to shower and dress before they went to his place to do the same. It wasn't that big of a deal to him. "Take your time." He added moving back into the living room so that Nick could go shower and get ready. He really was excited for this date himself, and maybe that was one reason why he said he'd wait until Nick was finished. Wanting to spend as much time with him as he could. Even if he was just watching TV while the other man showered they were still in the same building and that was really all that mattered. It seemed strange that he was already this attached to Nick, but he couldn't help how he felt.

Nick nodded and went upstairs to take shower rewally quick, not wanting to let the other wait to much. A relaxing moment for himself to cool down after all what just happened. The kissing , the otgers words, all was running through his entire body and mind. He had to admit that he liked it. He also didnt aspect the other to act this ... sweet towards him after all they've been through.

 

Sighing he finisged the shower and moved in his room , changing his clothes, dressing a pair of skiny jeans and a blue t-shirt and he already took his blue snikers on and went downstairs.

 

"I'm ready he said as he reached the end of the stairs messing his hair a little , arranging him in on place.

Louis rather absently watched TV while he was waiting for Nick to finish showering and getting dressed. He honestly didn't really pay attention to the program playing on the TV screen. It wasn't long before he heard the sound of steps on the stairs, glancing over his shoulder towards Nick when he heard the other man say he was ready. A soft hum escaped him as his eyes took in the way the other man was dressed, quite pleased with how he looked. Reaching for the remote he turned to TV off before getting up making sure he had his keys in his pocket.

 

"Alright, let's head to my place. Then we can get going." He said giving Nick a smile before leading the way towards the door. At the door he made sure that Nick had his keys and cellphone before leading the way back outside. Leading the way to his car and unlocking it. Slipping in he waited for Nick to get in before he started to drive to his own home. He realized in that moment that this was the first time he had taken Nick to his place. The drive there was quiet, he kept his gaze mainly on the road even if he did glance occasionally towards Nick.

 

Louis lived in an upscale neighborhood, everyone's home was well cared for, larger than probably needed and the neighborhood was quiet. His front hard had a black wrought iron gate around it, the backyard a tall redwood fence to keep privacy. The house itself was two stories with an attic and basement. Being a bit superstitious though he did not use either the attic nor the basement. Anything that did not have a rightful place in one of the rooms didn't exist to him. He felt no reason to store unnecessary things, including holiday decorations. Parking in the driveway since they would be leaving again shortly he slipped out of the car and waited for Nick to join him before leading the way through the gate and up to the front door. Making sure that the gate was latched again before he unlocked the door and lead him into the house.

 

Stepping in they were met by a large open area, the walls painted a light blue, to the right was the living room, to the left the kitchen and dinning room, down the hallway that ran past the stairs was the door to the basement, and a bathroom. A white set of stairs lead up to the second floor where there were four bedrooms, and two more bathrooms(one in the master bedroom and one in the hallway). Only one of the bedrooms was in use, a second was set up as a guest room, the third was made into a home office, and the fourth remained empty. Louis had yet to find a use for it, and thus found no reason to do anything with the room at this time. He figured he could turn it into another guest room but considering he rarely had even one guest spend the night he did not find it necessary. Turning to Nick he spoke, "Make yourself comfortable. I won't be long. Um... feel free to look around if you want. The living room is to your right, if you're hungry or want something to drink while you wait the kitchen is to our left."

It was quiet in the car so Nick had the time to look around the window till they reached Louis home. He realized that it was the first time he was going there. He never knew where the otger was living and with every mile that they were driving it was making him even more curious.

 

Niticing the fancy area they just entered he was mesmerising at the hiuses, no, mansions that were passing as they were driving in the high way. He though that it was a pass through but when Louis stopped in front of some fates his jaw dropped open in surprise seeing the big house. He had no words.

 

As he fallowed Louis in the house he was speechless. The place was huge and amazingly beautiful in compare to his house. Everything was in a perfect order and clean, when his house was a total mess even when he was cleaning.

 

"I think i need a map in this place" he said looking around mesmerised by the place. "I think i'll wait here in the living room. Dont want to get lost and necer find tge exit. This place looks like a labirinct" he said sitting on the sofa looking at Louis.

Noticing Nick's reaction made a small smile cross Louis' face. He was glad that Nick seemed to like the place, which for some reason he seemed to care about. He didn't really bring many people home, he'd have Jack over more than anyone. Even then, their interactions here were mainly innocent, considering their little flings were rare in themselves. It was mainly just hanging out like friends did, occasionally flirting with no true intentions.

 

He laughed softly when Nick mentioned needing a map in his home. "Alright, well here is the remote, you can watch TV, put a movie in, I have Hulu and Netflix as well and there is also on demand. I'll try to be quick but you might as well get comfortable." Louis said with a smile handing the remote to Nick to keep him entertained while he was showering and getting ready. After a moment of thought he spoke again, "Maybe... you'll have a chance to learn the layout some time." His voice was soft when he said that, but it was clearly an invitation for for him to come back some time.

 

Leaving Nick to occupy himself he went upstairs and into his room to shower and get ready. While he showered he tried to keep in mind that Nick was waiting for him so he wouldn't get to comfortable and take forever. When he finished showering he dried himself off, wrapped a towel around his waist and returned to his room. For a few minutes he just stared into his closet debating what he wanted to wear. Since it was a nice day and they would be out in the heat he pulled out a gray tank top and then moved over to his dresser closing the closet behind him.

 

Slipping into some boxers he pulled on a pair of light colored skinny jeans himself and then his tank top. Slipping socks on he put his shoes back on before returning to the bathroom. Making sure he dried his hair thoroughly he tossed the towel into his hamper. Slipping his phone back into his pocket and making sure he had his keys he returned to the living room and Nick. Giving the other man a small smile he settled himself on the arm of the couch, "We'll head out in a few minutes. Don't want to go there to early." He commented as he glanced towards the TV to see what Nick had put on.

As he was waiting, Nick made himself comfortable on the sofa and turned on the Tv. He was still amazed by the place Louis was living. He never thought that the other was living in a mansion. He should have figure it out since he likes expenses places and all that, but his mind was too dull to think that far.

 

When the other was back and sat near him, he greeted him with a smile and nodded. "I think so too" he shrugged his shoulders turning the Tv off. "I just have to say this .... this place is amazing" he said turning his gaze back to Louis. "I mean ... everything here looks so extravagant and you have so much space. Does your parents live here?" he asked shortly taking a breath, leaning in the sofa. They were pretty close, and he had to admit that in that outfit he did looked gorgeous.

"Thank you." Louis said with a smile hearing the compliment about his home. It really was a nice place, and it was far bigger than he truly needed. When he was asked if his parents lived here as well he was silent for a moment trying to find out how to best answer that. "Ah... no. I live here alone." There was a bit more to that than he really wanted to admit at the moment, there would be a better time for them to learn more about each other. A better time for them to discuss this matter as well. Standing up he spoke, "Wait until you see the backyard." He motioned for Nick to follow him before he lead him through the house and out the back door into the backyard. Stretching out before them was a large yard with a pool and jacuzzi, an outdoor lounge area off to the side had a fire pit built into the middle. The outdoor furniture was situated around the pit to make it the focus of the lounge area. It was a covered area, surrounded by glass walls so you could enjoy it even while it was raining, or in the colder months while enjoying the warmth from the fire.

 

Glancing towards Nick he gave the other man a smile, "I actually spend most of my time home back here. You're more than welcome to come over and hang out sometime. Take a dip in the pool, or we can just hang out around the fire." He said after allowing Nick to take it all in. Then he decided to come clean a little more as to how he was able to live like this. "When I was a teenager my parents died in an accident. I was adopted when I was sixteen by a rich couple who wanted a son but didn't want to have a biological child. They didn't want to have to deal with an infant or small child." He paused and glanced towards Nick. "This place was a graduation present, their way of making sure I wouldn't have to live at home now that I'm an adult. They put a large amount of money in a bank account and sent me on my way. Basically they wanted an heir to their fortune without any of the responsibility. I'll inherit everything when they pass. If it wasn't for a small addition to my bank account at the beginning of every year I would say they probably forgot I even exist."

 

Letting his eyes rove over the yard he shrugged once more. "Despite the money I have sitting in my bank account though, I enjoy working. It gives me something to do, something to excel in even if the money isn't a necessity." Turning back to Nick he gave the other a large smile. "I don't mind though. I mean... the house is a bit empty considering I live alone, but since I don't really spend any time alone in the house, but alone in the pool or the lounge area that it never really bothers me. This is a really quiet neighborhood, there aren't any children. It's all young adults or even older couples. So it's really peaceful."

Hearing that Nick fallowed in the backyard where he was shocked of its beauty. If he was shocked and amazed by the neighborhood or the house, those were nothing in compare with its backyard. It was huge and beautiful organised. Especially the glass room that was a little bit in the back, being covered so that one could enjoy the outside in every season.

 

Listening to Louis as he talked and the fact that he was living most of his time alone in that space which was almost as large as his own home, it still felt lonely as hell. It didn't matter how much money you had or the luxury you were in if you couldn't enjoy it. And alone wasn't that much of a pleasant thing. At least that was his opinion. Having Louis set up the invitation for him to come at his house whenever he wanted made him feel warm, maybe even special, if that was possible.

 

As Louis was going on with his story, acknowledge the fact that he lost his parents and was adopted made his heart hurt. no wonder he put up a mask like not ... Biting his lip, not wanting to say anything, he let the other continued. With each word his heart was eking. He wasn't feeling sorry for him, or pitted him. No. He felt more attracted to him, attracted to his strength. He took his hand, letting on an admiration smile. He really was amazing. How couldn't he see that before. he had to admit that the jerk-ass mask was a really good one, but still.

 

"Let's get going to the zoo" he said , keeping the smile. He was happy that he got to get to know a little from him. A little more from his life. A little more about the Louis before the jerk-ass he turned too. "We need some fun" he kissed the other on the cheek and drag him back in the house and towards the front door.

A pleased smile crossed Louis' face when he noticed the way Nick looked at his backyard. Clearly the other man liked what he was seeing, and honestly, Louis was glad someone else could appreciate it as well. As he was telling the other man about how he lived in his home alone and how he had come to be adopted he didn't expect Nick to take his hand in his. Glancing up at Nick he noticed the smile of admiration that was on the other's face. For a moment he was stunned, not really sure what to make of it. Was... it a good thing? It certainly hadn't been what he had expected. Most people gave him a sympathetic look after learning he had been adopted at an older age, or they would give him a look showing they pitied him. He was glad that was not the response he got from Nick though.

 

One of the reasons he acted like an ass to most people was because he didn't want to be given sympathetic looks or for people to pity him. He did like his adoptive parents, even if he saw very little of them, and they did give him a great new life. Even if their reason for adoption was not that good. His thoughts were interrupted when Nick said they should get going to the zoo. The kiss to his cheek made a smile cross his own face as he was dragged back into the house and towards the front door. "Hmm... can I expect a real kiss later?" He asked his voice was more on the innocent side. "Also... for just being in my home for a little while you seem to at least have mastered the first floor." He mused.

 

Once they were outside he made sure he had his wallet, keys and phone. Once he did he let his hand grasp Nick's more firmly and lead him out of his front yard making sure the gate was shut behind him before leading him back to the car. Before he released Nick's hand he leaned over for a quick and light kiss. The kiss was so light that it was almost as if it didn't happen. Then he released Nick's hand before he unlocked the car, "Come on now. Let's get going. We'll make this a fun day."

Nick just smile as the other was talking about him knowing the ground floor by now and the fact that he wanted a real kiss. that was a real kiss too, he thought as they reached the front garden and Louis gave him a quick kiss on the lips which he didn't expect it. It was so cheesy the way they were acting. It was like a teenage romantic couple. woooow .... i already associate us as a couple ... well , aren't we? ... we just started dating but .... ah, damn it!, his mind was rumbling again out out of space so he had to shock his head to regain his mind back. Fallowing the other in the car he waited patiently to arrive at the zoo. He never was to one before so he was acting like a child at that moment.

 

As they entered the place, Nick started to look all around himself and move from an animal to the other, along side with Louis, holding his hand that entire time. It was really fun, and emotional, since he never saw so many exotic animals in one place. It really was an amazing place, and he was supper happy, until his stomach growl. "Can we go and eat at that boot there?" he pointed out a hot dog boot a few feet away from them, where it had tables and seats to enjoy the food and surroundings.

The drive to the zoo was rather quiet, though Louis didn't truly mind. When they arrived he slipped out of the car, waiting for Nick to join him before they approached the zoo entrance. Paying the entry fee he followed Nick as the other instantly took the lead in looking at the animals. It was cute how the other was acting, and he enjoyed that every step of the way they were holding hands. He had shifted his hand so he could entwine their fingers. Allowing himself to tighten his own grip a little when Nick became a little overly excited.

 

Like he had promised he took pictures along the way, not just of the animals but of Nick, and of them. Even when the other man was to occupied by the animals to be fully aware he was taking another picture. It wasn't until Nick had turned back to him and asked about going to eat at a booth nearby that he turned and looked to see where Nick was pointing. "If that's where you want to eat then of course we can." He replied not about to deny the other if this was what he wanted. There were of course multiple places to eat throughout the zoo, but if Nick wanted to eat here he would not stop them from doing so.

 

"Come on." He encouraged him leading him over to the booth and smiling at the man that greeted them. After he spoke to the man for a moment and then asked Nick what he wanted he made the order. Ordering them some drinks as well before they got their food and he lead the way over to a nearby table. Once they were sitting with their food he gave Nick a genuine smile. "Can I take it as you are enjoying our trip to the zoo?" Louis asked wanting to make sure that Nick was really enjoying himself.
