XiuLin Posted August 4, 2016 Share Posted August 4, 2016 Here I was at the fire house, going through the motions of cooking and cleaning up after the co-workers. My mood was very low, and my working was at it's peak of the day all ready. I was just scrubbing the fire house's kitchen counters after cooking for them. I had no drive to fully want to sit down with them and eat. So I instantly went to clock out my work shift. On the walk to clock out, I saw another co-worker talking to his soon to be wife. I was quite envious of this fact, because I was just dumped. I also wanted to see what would happen to this poor future husband, since I knew he was drinking for a good part of the afternoon. I might have wanted to pick a fight with him as well. So I stamped my hours in for work and went over to them, as I walked past I gently brushed my hand against the wife's rear end and kept walking. But I was stopped by her man and as I turned around, I got punched right into the jaw. I tumbled backwards a little bit but then pounced on the co-worker I hardly knew well enough to call my friend. I swung a few hits, hitting him in the ear, jaw, and torso. The wife had ran inside and got another or a couple other fire men to witness the fight and then eventually report it to our superior. He figured he might as well give his friend a call, figuring he should be off of work by now. "Hey man" He said with a big smile, getting ready to take a shower while he was on the phone. "You busy? XiuLin Posted August 4, 2016 Author Share Posted August 4, 2016 Tai was just answering his phone when he was at his own house, in his bath tub. He smiled softly when he saw an incoming phone call. He answered. "Hey Micheal. I'm in the tub right now." But sure take out sounds good right now. I'll be over in a short ride from a taxi driver. I have some things to fill you in with, unless you have heard the news already...I got fired lets say about three days ago. It was a big cluster. Let me finish my bath and I'll be over soon." Micheal laughed, heading toward the bathroom. "Anyways see you in a bit" Micheal said as he ended the conversation there for now. Once he got out of the shower, he dried himself off and went to clean up the house a bit. Even if it wasn't cleaning, he just picked up a few things here and there. He decided to go on a short walk, during the walk he had called a cab and had himself delivered to Micheal's house/apartment in about twenty minutes. He to his door and rang the door bell. He waited for his friend to answer. He was parched from his bath and the ride over. He needed a cold one in a frosty mug. He just wanted to have a guys night in and relax. "Hey Tai, come in, good will be a few more minutes" He smiled, patting him on the back. Micheal slipped a t shirt over his head so he wouldn't be half naked anymore. "Okay, shall we start the movie and maybe open a couple to few cold brews?" He asked sounding a bit run down and less positive of paying his own bills now. "I have not been looking but I will keep an eye out. Grocery stores usually hire people, or retail. People quit like flies in some stores" Micheal shook his head with a laugh. He popped open the top of his bottle and took a good long sip of his bottle. "Use me as a reference for jobs, I'll vouch for you" He spoke honestly before going for more of his beer. He headed over to the DVD player and put in a movie, just any movie would do. "I will make sure to use you as a reference, thanks Micheal." He smiled more, feeling a bit better. Suddenly remembering his grandma's passing came to his mind. He gently sighed and his heart ached. 'Sure I still have an aunt or two blood related and not but that doesn't replace her.' He thought to himself. He stuck pretty close to Micheal, and cuddled up to him. He felt their bodies still some what warm from their shower and bath. He watches the movie. We are going to enjoy ourselves" He smiled as the other put on some random movie he had lying around. He wrapped an arm of comfort around the other when he had cuddled up to him. If the movie does not work to get my mind off things, maybe we can share music or be dorks and message each other from our close arrangements in a chatroom? Or we can do that later tonight?" He asks. He then nuzzles up to Micheal closer and drapes a right leg of his own over the other's lap and also soon followed the left. It's sad to see a good plot go to waste.)) "True, It's kind of silly. It is like messaging a younger or older brother from two different rooms while on some sort of other communication/game device and while under same house. Hmmm...How long are you planning on saying?" He felt himself as he adjusted his arms around the other after about 45 minutes of the movie. It was a long 3 hour movie. But he really enjoyed the other's laid-back personality. "Hey Micheal? You really don't mind this do you? How clingy I am being?" He asks a couple questions. He then blushes softly. "I wonder what else you don't mind."
