JR_TheRandomFan
I can't remember the school being in Japan. I don't believe that the school is in Japan.
WolfDog12
Ok, what if we put the school in Europe somewhere since most everyone is from there, (Don't mind MC because he had to move out of the country anyway). Why don't those who are taking classes make a small schedule for themselves because Where I'm from, high school goes from 7:40 (Class starts) to 2:05 (Last bell rings.) I know those are weird numbers but it is a six hour day and there is plenty of time after school for whatever you want. This way, if everyone is making up their own general classes, then we can have lets say 3 sets of 1 hour through the day of training with a teacher (Basically gym class). Weekdays only, and only have a mandatory mental check up on saturday let's say just before lunch and that's it. If everyone makes their schedule then we don't have to worry about those not needing more schooling and we can go from there. The only other thing mandatory will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will be a "Be a hero 101" At let's say 1 in the after noon just after lunch. Is that a good idea? 707
Why not it be a secret school especially since it's about heroes and they're all about secret identities? It could be hidden somewhere very remote but accessible through specific 'portals' - maybe a unique card that a student can use to teleport themselves into the academy grounds or abandoned warehouse doors that would instead lead them into one of the school's rooms or any other else. If my understanding is not wrong, the academy is like Hogwarts where the students are handpicked - given letters. As for the schedules, why not put courses; specific subjects that would categorize a hero type, much the same as how we categorize job professions since I doubt that every person with special ability wants to go out and fight bad guys. Like how college works: you have your sub courses, where you can be classmates with everyone, and your main courses where you're only with the people who wants to study the same field as you do. Those who prefer a more active course - fighting bad guys for one and team support for another - will be the ones to have trainings and joint trainings, perhaps even collaborations with the non-active courses like hero law or hero psychology, etc. At least, that's my idea. bank_phichai
Thinking on it I quite like the idea of the school being somewhere remote possibly in the Pyrenees or Swiss Alps. Where the school campus is only accessible by a "pass" that could be used anywhere. A bit like the senkaimon in bleach. I'm still thinking about courses/subjects/timetables as these posts have provoked new not fully thought out ideas.
WolfDog12
We could do something like keys from blue exorcist where they can get onto the school grounds through any door so long as they unlock it using a special magic key if you will. Though I still think students should be in dorms so maybe something like harry potter where they stay at the school until breaks and use the key to get to and from the school during school vacations and so on. bank_phichai
I agree with that Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. I really like the sense that this school with its students and staff could be seen as magical to a non-hero, even if in reality there's a scientific explanation behind it. JR_TheRandomFan
But has it have to be magic? I'm thinking that technology would be a better way to go with the no non-hero entry idea. A clocking device, alternate energy, hero own and ran businesses that fund and supply the school?
WolfDog12
Ok, Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. then what do you want for this rpg because if we keep stepping backwards like this I don't know if we'll ever come to a decision and actually be able to play the rpg. At this rate I feel like we aren't getting anywhere. I'm sorry to be "that" person but do you at least see where I'm coming from? I hate to admit it but each passing day and I'm losing that over excitement for the rpg.... which stinks because it's a great idea.
JR_TheRandomFan
Yeah,I see where you're coming from, and I'm sorry that things aren't moving as smoothly as they should. My attentions have been a little spilt with a move and college starting for me. No excuse, but it just has to be said. I do have an idea of where this can go.What I first wanted to intend with this RP is each newly incoming student be 'scouted' out, like with Collie in his bio if you recall how he heard of the school in the first place. Technical advances mask the school from normal eyes, with those new students coming in only seeing the school at close proximity thanks to the cards they were given when their scouts spotted them. For a schedule sake, I was hoping to mix general and special classes. Base subjects like any other school, but bases for any powered being, like power control, maintaining a secret identity, combat training, hero persona creation, skills to pick up after one doesn't want to use their powers anymore. Progression mainly based on how quickly, or just the method each new hero handles tasks. Team exercises, villain introductions, and recruitment for organizations of heroes, it's all there. They live together, learn together, and maybe, just maybe, make their own group to fight together. If there are any changes that need to be made, then fine. Let's just see this is enough to start because we really need to establish a posting order,if you even want one.
