Sathenus
Damion's interest was peaked when he heard the other man start speaking about what he was here to discuss, eyes locked on the man as he spoke. What really grabbed his attention was learning that it was only thirty minute drive from the city, 'So I'm not that far from the city? That's... fantastic.' he thought to himself. It was good new to hear where he was located, he could use that to plan his escape, and as he was thinking about that he noticed the frown that crossed Egon's face. Last night's punishment came flooding back and he flinched away putting a bit more space between the two of them. There wasn't any doubt in his mind that his master understood their location being revealed to him must have sparked another interest for freedom. It had indeed made him want it even more, he wasn't that far from it at all, and even thought it was thirty minutes by car he would be able to make it in at lease a couple of hours something that wasn't that bad in his opinion. It wasn't like Damion hadn't traveled farther distances in an attempt for freedom, the only difference was Egon was intent on not letting him get away versus his other master's or mistresses had been ready to get rid of him by the time he made his escape and that was just another reason to send him back to the agency. Drawn from his thoughts when their guest began speaking again he glanced towards him once more, noticing that he was once more trying to get Elise and that made him frown. What he wasn't expecting was for him to suddenly take and interest in him as well and ask about selling him and Elise to him. Shock crossed his face as his eyes locked on the table, it wasn't like he was a good slave and expected to be defended but he didn't like how easily the subject of selling him could come up. What also slightly unnerved him was the fact that he wouldn't know what the other man would do to him while he was finally aware of what Egon would. It was hearing the sound of hands slapping on the table that made him flinch again this time the sound got to him sounding to much like something else, something he didn't want to admit. Hearing his master state quite plainly to his brother to let himself into the guest bedroom and disappear after he had fooled around enough he spared a glance towards the guest only to hear Egon speak to him this time the order quite clear. Turning his gaze to look up at the older man he nodded and slowly slipped out of his chair waiting for Egon to lead the way and wondering why they were even going outside. One thing was still in his mind though, their guest had said when Egon got bored of him not to throw him away. What could he possibly have meant by that? Letting his mind rove over it he also wondered what exactly made the man interested in him, especially if his main focus still seemed to be Elise. They were two very different personalities, and though he knew Elise didn't like him and would probably not want to listen to anything he had to tell her, he wouldn't listen in general. Even if Egon managed to break him, managed to turn him into that obedient slave that he seemed to be aiming for, that didn't mean he would listen to anyone else. Guest Eornostlice
"Now, there is no reason to get that angry dear brother. I told you my appointment is only in the evening. You have time to think about my little proposal until then." It seemed that he older brother was more than accustomed to Egon's way and his stubborness was on the same level as a child's, not willing to give up even when the master's answer was so clear. Egon did not spare the other man a second glace, leading Damion outside of the kitchen, away from the pest of a guest that was still leisurely enjoying his breakfast. With a sigh, the man massaged his temples, feeling more than done for the day. He could not handle Stephan and that was something that any living soul that knew him a bit better was aware of, now the boy included. It was the older brother's personality that truly got on his nerves. Stephan was careless and did not treat anyone as his equal, choosing to look down even on his only living relatives, both Egon and Amalie, the middle child. His way with people was even worse- he has always regarded the younger brother's work as poinltess and downright useless, slaves being in his eyes nothing more than objects to show off. In his hands, about two hundred or so slaves having been broken to the point of no longer being recognized as human beings. Charming innocents or feisty slaves with empty promises and attractive words, they would choose to follow him willingly- only to be used in each and every way possible then discarded like trash. In other words, someone that Egon despised, a liar with absolutely no respect for anything around him. He extended his hand and patted the young man's head, his expression softening. "Sorry. That must have frightened you." It was about the sudden slap on the table as he snapped, having noticed Damion flinching. By now, he regretted his choice of letting the boy anywhere near his brother. "Follow me out. I will have you and Elise spend the day in her room. You will have lunch with her and only return here for dinner. You two are to stay together if you get out and away from the man you have just met. Understood?" He was still angry and his emotions were reflected in his voice. He no longer worried about Damion causing any trouble in the house of slaves, now that he was aware of the boy's orientation. Of course, he could be into both genders, but that was why he would be stuck with the petite girl- she was an innocent, completely unable of any sexual behavior even towards Egon, despite her adoration towards him. Sathenus
Damion glanced towards their guest when he started speaking again, something in the way he spoke unnerved him, even more so than his punishment last night and that was saying a lot. His eyes were drawn back to his master when the man started to lead the way out of the room not even sparing his brother a second glance, instantly Damion followed after him. The last thing he wanted was to be left behind and in the same room as the other man alone, something told him being found by him alone might not be a good thing. He was quiet as he followed Egon from the room, stopping beside him as he watched his master rub at his temples a soft sigh escaping from his lips. There really was no reaction from him when the older man reached out and pat him on the head once more, an action he was getting very much used to despite it only having been a few days since his arrival. What he wasn't expecting was what was said after he had pat his head, apologizing for scaring him. Instantly he understood what he was apologizing for, and he felt embarrassed that his master had even noticed he had flinched at the sudden slap of his hands on the table. Despite that he didn't speak, still preferring to remain silent having a feeling that this was the best route for him for awhile anyways. Listening as he was told to follow him out, he wasn't expecting to be told that he would be spending the day with Elise in her room, he was about to open his mouth and object but Egon wasn't finished speaking. The tone made him shut his mouth again listening as he was told they were to stay together if they went out and to stay away from the other man. "Yes sir." he replied when he was asked if he understood his eyes averted and on the floor as he followed after him. It seemed strange that he was actually not just being given permission to go into the house of slaves but being told to stay there with Elise until dinner. It just felt odd to him, but he figured since his master understood his preference that he figured he was not going to be a problem being told to stay in the building with the three girls. In fact he thought more of Elise like a sister, something he couldn't really remember despite not having been away from his family for more than three years now. It was long enough for him to have forgotten what it was like to have a sibling around, and he honestly didn't even want to think about it. At least spending this time with Elise meant that he didn't have to worry about if he did something wrong, something told him that there wouldn't be many words if any exchanged between the two of them anyways. Though he did prefer her over the other two girls, then again he didn't really understand the others that well, though Mare really was the only other one he had any one on one contact with. Guest Eornostlice
Being called sir felt somewhat strange, especially coming from Damion. The man had expected him to put up more or a fight but it did not seem to be the case. Good. That was at least one thing settled for the day, out of so many. The master lead the way in silence, occupied with his own thoughts. This time around, Stephan had pushed him more or less to a corner when it came to his property- were the said man to buy the surrounding land and build another resort of some sort there, his peaceful days would be over. The mansion, despite habing been remodelled into what it was today, had been a historical piece afterall so it would attract plenty of gazes. Not to mention the other issue that he had to deal with. The case he did not wish to give up, still trying to save a life. The following day he would have no other choice but try to handle it once more and he had no idea where to start. That was why he was honestly glad to have Damion behave himself for once, it was one source of stress that he did not have to deal with at the moment. The boy was surely not aware but it was for the best. Given the intensity of negative emotions that the master had to put up with at the moment, yesterday's punishment would be considered a joke in comparison to the harshness of what he would do to the other were he to suddenly step out of line. He did like the boy more now, but that did not mean hr would be allowed to defy him. Entering the house of slaves, Egon headed straight for Elise's room- the room numbered with 6 on the door, on the right side of the hall- and without knocking he just opened it. There was no sign to signify that she could not be disturbed outside afterall, so there was no real need for formalities. The room itself was rather girly and completely matched the petite girl's personality, decorated with plenty of potted plants, each having a colored ribbon attached. The room's colors were white, peaceful cream, black and turquoise, the bed sheets made of silk. There was no doubt that Egon actually spoiled all of his servants, having decorated their rooms according to their tastes. Big blue eyes, now much calmer stared at the door, the petite body unmoved, a small watering can being held in her hands. The girl studied both men as if with a questioning baze but she did not actually open her mouth, waiting for her master to break the silence. "I will have you to stay with Damion today. You are excused from duties until dinner when both of you will return." That was all the explanation he really needed to give her. She nodded he head, smiling a little bit. Somehow she felt relieved, she did not have to face the elder brother for time being it seemed. With only that, leaving Damion there after motioning for him to enter, Egon turned around, exiting the building.
Sathenus
Damion didn't protest or make any sound stating that he didn't want to hang out with Elise in the house of slaves. Certainly it wasn't his first choice of spending his day, it had nothing to do with the girl, he honestly liked her. It was just that he didn't particularly like the idea of spending the day in the building and in her room, it wasn't like there really was a choice though. Sure that if he tried to object or give any resistance it wouldn't end well for him. It was that thought that ensured that he just followed behind his master silently. Upon reaching the building he just followed Egon to the door glancing at the number on it, it made him wonder if she was the last to arrive before him. Considering her room was numbered six, but he wasn't even sure if that was a good guess. Shrugging it off he didn't think anymore about it when he watched their master open the door without knocking. He wasn't surprised so to speak, but for some reason it just seemed out of place when it came to the girl. Glancing around the older man he noticed that Elise had a watering can in her hand and had appeared to be in the middle of watering one of the many plants in her room. Eyes taking in the room as he heard their master speak telling her why they were here, it was... girly to say the least. And though he shouldn't really be surprised he found it strange in such circumstances that her bedroom would be in a sense... normal. At least it seemed that way to him, but he was soon motioned into the room and upon stepping inside the door was shut behind him as Egon left. He glanced towards the shut door for a moment before his eyes returned to Elise. This seemed a bit awkward and he wasn't sure if it was just him or not, what exactly was he supposed to say? Not really knowing anything about Elise he wasn't sure how he was supposed to behave when it came to her. Obviously they were on at the very least acceptable levels with each other, she had after all told him what the collar around his throat was. Though his demand that it had been removed had ended in a way that made his skin crawl. He was sure his neck was even a little bruised from when it had been tugged on by their master during said punishment. It wasn't like he had really had a chance to inspect himself, he had taken a shower the moment he had a chance but glancing at himself in a mirror had never crossed his mind. Letting his eyes take in the room once more he stood there silently. After a moment something came to mind and he couldn't help but glance back towards her curiously. He wondered why her reactions towards their guest had been different versus the reactions of the other girls, other than the obvious reason of him wanting to buy her. For a moment he tried to figure out how to word his question without upsetting her when finally he just spoke, "That man... why is she so intent on buying you?" he asked his voice was soft but his curiosity showed. After all the older man hadn't asked just once for Elise, he had asked twice. Ignoring the fact that he had been tossed into the equation on the second inquiry about Elise. As far as he was concerned that wasn't important, and he didn't see what his interest was in him to begin with. What was it with this family and apparently being drawn to his feisty nature? He couldn't for the life of him figure it out, but there was a small part of him, deep in the back of his mind that told him it would be best to keep a distance from the older brother. Guest Eornostlice
Egon could finally let out a sigh of relief, no longer concerning himself with the two, keeping a mental note to spoil them both later. It was unlike himself to keep them more or less locked in afterall, especially since it was their free time, but again, that was the safest place for them to be in at the moment. His next step was calling on whoever had the butler duty for the day and make him stay in the mansion for time being, unlike the usual procedure. * The girl felt fairly awkward to be left alone with Damion, not sure what she was supposed to say in order to entertain. Anyone knew thay she was very far from being outspoken, especially in the situations when she had to prove herself so. Idle chatter was a difficult thing to do, and for all she knew, she wasn't the only one. She figured she had to finish watering the plants first, taking the time to come up with a possible conversation topic. That was why she was relieved when the boy broke the silence himself, despite the sensitive subject that caused her cheeks to go in flame. It was fairly simple. That wretched human preferred innocent girls and boys and often took the time to sneak a feel or two whenever he was to meet such slaves, as if to decide wether he wanted to buy them or not- at least that what her master had told told her, being confirmed by a similar inappropiate gesture directed towards herself. "Revenge." She put it bluntly, her lips curling into a delicate smile. "Last time that he had visited, our guest had stepped out of line so I have taken the liberty to mistakenly pour hot coffee onto his lap." Her smile lacked any trace of regret, the said mistake being obviously intentional. Egon similarly had not punished her, not minding the fact that he had to pay for the 'damages'. Most likely the man's skin still had a burn mark left. Blue eyes looked at Damion, turning shy as if suddenly remembering that she was acting in a distasteful manner, her voice greatly softening. "Um..." A pause and she put the watering can away for good. "You can just sit down if you want to..."
Sathenus
For a moment Damion was sure that Elise wasn't going to answer him, when finally she poke. The simple word was spoken rather bluntly, and from her that surprised him. However, he also noted the way her lips curled into a delicate smile before she continued to speak elaborating on what exactly she had meant. For some reason he was surprised by her admitting it had not truly been an accident, and he wished deep down he had been able to see her do that. If nothing more than to just to see her do something she otherwise would never do. Their guest must have done something to deserve it, and by the fact that she told him the man had stepped out of line meant that he had done something he definitely should not. Damion considered asking what exactly he had done, but instead just let the subject drop glancing around her room when he was told that he could sit down if he wanted to. His ass was still a bit sore and tender from his punishment last night, but sitting seemed at least a little better than awkwardly standing around. Settling himself into a chair that happened to be in the room he turned his attention once more to Elise, wondering now how their master expected them to spend the rest of the day until dinner shut up and away from the mansion. Elise might be able to spend her day in this room without any problems, but nothing in the room held any interest to him. Though it came down to the fact that he was trying to behave himself, especially after last night and learning that Egon definitely had no problem punishing him in such a way. Clearing his throat his eyes moved back to the girl, watching her for a moment. "Um... what exactly are we supposed to do to pass the time?" he asked finally unable to hide the fact that they couldn't just sit around in awkward silence until dinner. Dinner was hours away and even a few minutes of this silence seemed to grate on his patience, and considering he had little of it to begin with it meant that he definitely had no patience for doing nothing for the next few hours. Surely Elise had to have some idea about how they could spend it. Once more it made him wonder why they had been pretty much told to stay here in her room, was it really likely that while they wandered the grounds they would encounter their guest? Though he wanted to say it wasn't he knew that he didn't truly know the other man, and maybe that possibility was higher than he was aware of. "What do you normally do to pass the time?" He questioned raising an eyebrow and watching Elise. He figured that going that route might be his best chance for them doing something, anything at this point. Then again, depending on how she normally spent her time he might just settle for sitting in a corner staring at a wall for the rest of the day. Guest Eornostlice
Ah. The two questions did get her thinking. Her activities were diverse but this time around they would need to be situated inside the room. She did understand why she herself had to be kept away from the Master's brother but the reason why Damion needed to receive a similar type of treatment eluded her. Perhaps the scoundrel had taken an interest to the boy as well? But why? - How could she possibly guess that it was her fault for being so transparent when it came to her liking him? Cheeks gaining a bit more color, she searched inside her mind for things she enjoyed. "I often go shopping in the city or play with the others." But that would imply her going out. And for time being, they had to stay put. That line did get her to wo der wether Damion had seen the city before, all of it, with the attractions and wonderful street food booths, soft plushie stores and clothing ones, big parks and amusament ones and the not so pleasant crowds. "Uh." So she would just need to settle for the things she would usually do when alone yes? Elegantly crouching down on the floor, she opened a drawer to reveal a big stack of different types of paper, most completely blank, bigger or smaller and plenty of crayons, normal pencils and pens, along with a few boxes that seemed to hold the plain old school type of games such as monopoly or chess along with a set of cards. However, the one thing she went for were the papers, shyly holding them in front of her face. Neither one of the others actually had any interest in art so she did not exactly get the chance to draw much. "Uh. Would drawing or... playing games be too much of a bother?" True, she was slightly older than Damion but her childhood had been taken away from herself. That was maybe why she remained childish.
Sathenus
A frown crossed Damion's face when Elise told him what she normally did, shopping -whether in the city or not- was no acceptable to him. Not to mention even if the circumstances were different and Egon's brother was not here he knew he would not be permitted to leave and go to the city. He would, without hesitation make a break for freedom if he was allowed beyond the gates and fence that surrounded the property. Even despite his most recent punishment he still wished to be free. Knowing it would never be granted to him just made his heart ache, probably one of few things that managed to do so. It was the thought of her playing with the others that made him raise an eyebrow, wondering what they would possibly play. In the end he highly doubted it was anything of true interest. Silence fell once more and he noticed she seemed to be struggling to decide what to say, or what they could possibly do together. A moment later she was crouching down before a draw and returned to where he sat with blank papers only to ask if drawing or playing games would be to much of a bother. The last thing he would consider himself to be was artistic, however, it was better than sitting around doing nothing. "Drawing will work just fine." there was no reason to try to argue or think of something else. It wasn't like the two of them truly had anything in common, in fact there was very little that he felt like he had in common with anyone. Taking one of the papers when it was handed to him he let his mind rove, thinking briefly about how things might have been different had their world never so fully accepted slavery. Damion knew it was foolish to wonder such things, especially since things would never change, it didn't mean he didn't have hope. In the end he ended up sitting there silently leaning on one hand while the other tapped a pencil on the blank paper. Even an hour later he still had nothing down on it, his mind was anywhere but on the paper and the pencil in his hand. More or less just day dreaming and passing the time barely aware of what was going on around him. Eventually he sighed and set the pencil down glancing over to Elise. "Can we please get some air? This is suffocating."
