YC has had a very normal life. A normal family, a normal upraising, and a normal school life. Perhaps he wasn't as social as he could have been and perhaps he wasn't as popular as those around him, but he liked the existence he lived. He had a good family and a best friend that was always by his side, since his toddler years. Lately though, he has been having strange dreams. Dreams that show his family laying dead at his feet, dreams that show his birth city in demolished remains that seem crumble a bit more with each passing moment. Dreams that show a great strain in the distance, one he can't quite make out past the massive darkness it extends onto the horizon. In these dreams he feels a great fear yet when he begins to despair, a sense of peace reaches him when a light explodes into existence from behind him. As he gazes over his shoulder, there are 8 silhouettes of men behind him and in that second, he knows that there is still hope.

 

YC always wakes up right when an extremely familiar voice chirps up in it's usual tone "It's alright. We're with you. With us by your side, you have nothing to be afraid of".

 

For many nights he is plagued by this dream and the voice he has come to identify as of that of his best friend, strange is it might be. For the most part, YC pays the dream little mind until one night he is exploring the woods on the outskirts of his city for a school assignment. It all happens in the span of a few short seconds, first he's alone looking at plants, the next he's on his back with a monstrous beast standing over him. A beast that looks like a cross between wolf, bear, and even stranger...human. And as he looks into those cold, murderous red eyes....as the world begins to oddly fade to black while crimson stains the ground from a wound on his side, he hears that familiar voice call his name again before he slips into the darkness.

 

 

:So yeah, I know this is kinda open ended. The main gist of this idea is that YC is the reincarnation of a powerful Prince from centuries ago. He ruled over a kingdom peacefully with his 8 warriors at his side. However, there was a reason he only needed 8 warriors and not an army. His warriors were all brought to life through the elements, all of them holding an affiliation and power over a certain element while the Prince himself held a celestial power sleeping deep inside him. They were all born for two reasons, the Prince to protect his people and humanity from a great evil and his warriors, to protect him and fight for him no matter the cost to themselves.

 

With every century the passes, the Prince is reborn time and time again, yet lacks the memories of his purpose, his powers, or who he truly is. His warriors when they are reborn, however, remember everything without a flaw. And time after time, they give their lives to save him, even if he doesn't ever remember them or realize what they do for him.....This time around, I'd like YC to begin to remember a things throughout the roleplay while he is trained and protected by the 8 warriors.

 

Considering this is going to be a 1x1, though their will be a coexistence between all the characters, I'll be putting down a few pictures of the warriors and a small skelly and you can choose who you want YC to eventually fall in love with while on this crazy journey. Or if the Prince does not attract you're attention, you can choose a pair of characters from below that you would like to see together and we can go from there.

Personality: Toushiro, or Toshi as he is more often called, is rather kind though a bit quiet when you first meet him. He is friendly to a point, being that he won't openly just let anyone walk into his life without him getting to know them a bit. Honest to a fault when it counts, Toushiro doesn't sugarcoat the truth and will tell you as it is without fail. Despite all that, Toushiro is easy going and protective of those he cares for.

Personality: Normally, around those he cares for and trusts in, Hikaru is energetic and playfully sarcastic. However, when it comes to people he isn't familiar with, like his element, his temper takes on a certain cold touch to it. His glacier stares or notorious around those who have had to suffer through them and the brutal dismissal of those he doesn't care to bother with, can leave anyone with a chill running down their backs.

Personality: Keita is like the wind when it comes to his way of being. One minute he could be all smiles and laughter, the next he could be jumping down your throat or being a bit snappy. Though he's temper is constantly fluctuating, when Keita makes friends, he has their back no matter what and won't tolerate anyone causing them grief.

Personality: Despite the fiery element he controls, Mikoto is for the most part laid-back and somewhat lazy. He doesn't pay much mind to people and prefers to spend his time napping the day away than engaging in conversation with anyone. Nevertheless, when his temper is provoked, it is quite explosive and nothing in his path is safe. That is so true that those who are Mikoto's friends always go out of their ways to make sure that the redhead's temper is well under control.

Personality: Yuseki is peaceful and calm natured. He rarely every gets angry and by far is the most logical, down to earth thinker of the group, something that is closely followed by Mikoto. He can often be found by Mikoto's side and doesn't care to correct any rumors that might break out about their close bonds. Yuseki is kind and isn't shy of showing his affection to those he finds dear to him.

Personality: Hotaru is general fun to be around and is almost always seen laughing either at something going on around him or at a joke he has randomly thought up of. The boy is a ball of energy and his smile can be rather contagious when it's directed full force at someone. Hotaru is probably the most outgoing of the group and also the most sympathetic. More often than not he is creating some mischief with Keita at his side.

Personality: Takara is very closed off from the world and will only willingly associate with the small group of friends/family he has. He doesn't say much and would rather perform actions than waste his breath talking to people who don't get him. He's efficient at solving problems and he doesn't take any nonsense from anyone.

Personality: Kyoto, of Kyo as he is commonly called, is a leader by heart. He tends to be a mother hen in some degree, always worried about the members of his "family". He is patient and level headed, always weighing every situation before making a decision. Even so, he can be a bit indecisive and he takes quite a bit of time to place a judgment on any given person. He likes to let the choices of those around him, define who they are in his eyes.
