「 I N F O R M A T I O N 」

 

「Seiyuu ni Naritai」 is a project that will give a

chance to people who love anime voice actors and enjoy

shift-playing/pitch-playing with their voice.

 

Like any other voice actor, one has to put emotions and

control their voice according the lines (script) they read.

Or in other words, similar to drawing or writing, the

voice actors ‘create’ the emotions of words. They voice

out the thoughts and inner feelings of a character. The

script will be in Japanese, of course, input with romaji.

 

Each line will be translated in English so the seiyuu

participants grasp the meaning of the words. No one

should worry about their pronunciation or anything of

the sort. We all enjoy anime and how emotions are

‘voiced out’, so the goal of 「Seiyuu ni Naritai」 is

exactly that – to create emotions out of the script.

 

 

 

「 W H E R E . T O . U P L O A D 」

 

The project will have a script as mentioned above, but

then it will have also a short instrumental track that

everyone might use for background to their recording

though is NOT a must. To enter you just have to post

a link to your recording. You can upload either on

YouTube, or any other ‘video’/’audio’ sharing site.

 

Note:

To make a recording you can use your phone or

any other recording tool, as well the online

voice recording site, vocaroo.com

 

Additional:

In case you want to put on background the track

provided, you should create a video file with any

video creating software. Make sure though your

voice is more audible than the music. (:

Anata wa sensou ga dou iu mono ka, shitte imasu ka?

「 Do you know what war is? 」

Ojiisan ya obaasan kara,

mukashi no hanashi wo kiita koto ga aru kamoshiremasen.

「 You might've heard stories about it from your grandparents. 」

Gakkou no sensei ga,

sensou no hanashi wo shite kureta kamoshiremasen.

「 Or may be your teacher has mentioned war in class. 」

 

Hanashi ni kiita koto wa nakutemo,

「 Even if you haven't heard about war, 」

terebi de sensou wo shite iru kuni wo mita koto nara,

aru deshou.

「 You have probably seen war on television. 」

 

Nihon wa, nana jyuu nen chikaku mae ni,

「 Almost seventy years ago, 」

"Sensou shinai" to kimemashita.

「 Japan promised never to go to war again. 」

 

Sore wa ii koto deshou ne.

「 It's a nice promise, isn't it? 」

 

Daga sensou shitai hitotachi wa, tsugou no warui kimari desu.

「 But these that want to go to war don't like the constitution. 」

Heiwa to rengou wa iranai mitai desu.

「 It looks like they don't need things like peace and union. 」

 

Sou, sekai no itarutokoro de sensou shitai hitotachi ga iru yo.

「 That's right, there are people that want to go to war, everywhere in the world. 」

 

Dakara, onegai ga arimasu.

「 Thus, we'd like you to do something. 」

 

Aijou.

「 Love.」

Aijou wo oshiete agete kudasai.

「 Teach people about love. 」

Datte, kono sekai no naka de

heiwa to rengou to yakusoku wo mamoru koto dekiru ka wa,

sore wa tatta hitotsu koto de - aijou desu.

「 Because in this world the only thing

possible to make you keep the peace, the union and a promise is, love. 」
