"Wait!! WHAt~?!" Sega was suddenly cut off. What could Alicio have wanted to ask him?! Why couldn't he just ask quickly before hanging up? What happened?! Sega continued to wonder and wonder until the kitten meowed at him about just how late it was. He scooped the kitten and went to bed knowing the cat was right and that he needed rest.

Alicio returned to him home and began to prepare for his next visit to Sega's cafe.

 

The next day he arrived at the cafe late in the afternoon, he looked quite tired and still had his school bags. He still smiled at all the staff as if he was trying not to worry anyone.

The cafe was fairly quiet so Sega was able to meet Alicio at the door and bring him to a seat in his section. "Welcome, Alicio. So... What can I get for you today?...." It was clear he had something he wanted to ask the alpha but he had to wait until he at least served him. It was kind of a policy.

[Kotorichan]

Alicio was happy to see that the cafe was fairly empty. "Thank you Sega..." He sat and looked up at the man. "I'll just take a double espresso..." He studied the omega's face for a moment before frowning deeply. "Is something wrong..? I hope you aren't upset that I had to hang up on you like that last night... I had a bit of an emergency on my end, but everything is sorted out now so I promise it won't happen again"

"I guess I just wanted to know what it was you wanted to ask me? You kind of let me with a cliff hanger so I was let thinking about it all night. I just wanted to know what your question was." Sega tried to brush it off but it really weighed on his mind. "Let me get you that espresso," he stated before hurrying away. Now he wondered if he actually want to know or not.

Good, Sega was curious and flustered. Alicio couldn't help but smile slightly after the man left. Things seemed to be going well, it looked like Sega already had set his hopes on Alicio and was just waiting to make sure. Alicio didn't bring out his schoolwork yet, he dropped his gaze to the table an pushed his smile away. His expression turned thoughtful. What exactly was the best way to proceed..?

Sega returned a short while later and handed the espresso to Alicio. With no one else in his section, Sega sat down with the alpha. "So? What was it you wanted to ask me?" They had time now. This was typically one of the slowest days and the slowest time of the day as well. He could sit and question Alicio on what he wanted to know.

[Kotorichan]

"Thank you" Alicio took a sip of his espresso before looking at Sega. "I wanted to ask you what you think of me. We've gone on a date and you've invited me to your home for dinner..."

He reached out to take Sega's hand but stopped himself. "Ah, sorry I'm not allowed to touch you while you're working" He chuckled softly and pulled his hand away.

"I realized that I've been thinking of you as my boyfriend. When that other omega started flirting with me I immediately thought that I couldn't even consider being with her because I already have you. But I don't know if you think of me the same way"

"I feel the same way..." Sega was happy that Alicio was considering his rules and being mindful of his space but at the same time, a huge part of him wanted the alpha to touch and for them to hold hands and talk. It seemed Sega was the one needing to hold back now, not an alpha. "Would you mind if I go around considering you my boyfriend?" The omega asked a bit nervously. He started to rub the side of his right index finger against his thumb.. It was a habit he had when he was nervous.

"I would be honored for you to think of me as your boyfriend... Although there is more I need to talk to you about. But I don't want to bother you while you're working" Alicio smiled gently. "Please don't worry about it though. I don't want you to be distracted"

"As you can see, I don't have any other customers so Please, just tell me what it is that's on your mind." Sega was curious and he had plenty of time so he was going to find out what it was that was on Alicio's mind no matter what it took. There was no way he was getting away with this cliffhanger. Not again.

[Kotorichan]

Alicio sighed softly, as if he had been hoping not to talk about this just yet. "Well... I'm going to be taking over the family company soon, actually I have to take over before I even graduate... And because of that my family is starting to push me to get engaged as soon as possible"

He looked up at Sega with a worried frown. "I don't want to rush you into anything of course. I just wanted to warn you that I may end up being pushed to meet potential spouses and if you see me on something that looks like it's a date then it's really just a formality so I don't offend that person's family... There's also the possibility that one of my family members will try to contact you and ask you to break up with me. I do hope that you won't let their lies convince you that I'm better off marrying someone else..."

Now Sega understood why Alicio didn't want to talk about this here and now. "I Don't understand... It's a higher status for an alpha to marry an Omega and there are no Omegas of high stature.. Look, I'm going into my next heat in about three weeks... Maybe we should meet up for it then..." For an omega to offer this was the greatest honor to exist. This was basically Sega asking to bare Alicio's children already. "You have time don't you? Can you please wait until my next heat?"

[Kotorichan]

Alicio's eyes widened in genuine surprise. He thought that it would take a bit longer for Sega to completely submit to him. "Sega..." He smiled gently and reached out for the omega's hand, only stopping himself at the last moment. "Of course, I would love nothing more... And I do hope you'll be ready to tell me your ring size soon"

"Right. I hope it all goes well," Sega stated. Really meaning for Alicio to avoid his family's proposal for at least three weeks. If they could just get to then and Sega gets marked, then they can get married and Sega will finally be able to retire and be a full time house wife. He really hoped to be a good mother to Alicio's kids.

[Kotorichan]

"I think it will... If I tell my family that they only need to wait about three weeks then they should back off a bit" Alicio took a small sip of his espresso. "I'm sure they'll want to meet you... And perhaps you will allow me to meet your family as well? I Don't want them to worry about what kind of person I am"

"I'd love to meet your family but meeting mine might be difficult. They live about 8 hours drive from here. Though, I do go see them for new years, would you like to go with me?" Sega was really happy to hear that Alicio was going to hold back until his heat. They would be able to mate then and his parents couldn't put up a fuss.

[Kotorichan]

"I'd love to go with you. Perhaps we can all go out for dinner together sometime? I'll have to talk to everyone about when they're available. I can call you with some options later... But I doubt they'll have any free time for another week at least." Alicio smiled gently. "Of course I don't think there will be any sort of problems, even if you don't meet them before we fully commit to one another."

"Alright. I'd love to meet up with them when ever they are ready. I work every day but Sunday but I'm sure the boss wouldn't mind me taking a day off if I need to." Sega was happy that Alicio was all set to tell his parents about them and to have the omega meet them. "I'm getting pretty excited!" He stated before finally getting up to do some cleaning. The shop would close soon but they didn't mind Alicio staying for a while.

"So am I" Alicio watched the boy clean with a smile, leaning on the table a bit. After a few minutes he pulled out a book and started to read, every once in awhile he looked up at Sega. A couple minutes before the cafe closed he paid, gathered his things, and stood up. He looked around for Sega.

Sega made sure he finished everything before the shop closed so when Alicio paid, he quickly cleaned that up and took care of everything. "Would you mind waiting outside? I just have to get changed," He explained while hurrying off to change as fast as he could. The manager had to lock up which was why Sega asked the alpha to wait outside.

[Kotorichan]

"Of course" Alicio smiled at him. "Take your time, please" He left the cafe and went out to wait outside. He left his bag in the car but just waited outside the cafe, using his phone to check with his family about when they might be free to meet Sega.

Sega came out a few minutes later dressed out of his uniform and in his normal clothes. "Sorry for the wait," He called. Sega ran over to be with Alicio and saw him sending some kind of message but didn't inquire too much about it figuring it probably had something to do with him going to meet the alpha's family. Hopefully, he could make a good impression on them.

Alicio immediately put his phone away and smiled at him. "It's perfectly fine, don't worry" He walked over to the boy. "Would you like me to drive you home? Or perhaps we walk so we could spend more time together" He offered his arm to Sega, hoping that the omega would want to spend the evening together.

"I hate to leave your car here but I would like to walk with you." Sega felt like he was being spoiled and he smiled as he took Alicio's arm and they started to walk back to the apartment. The omega was thrilled to have finally met who he was absolutely sure was his mate. What made it better was that they only had to wait three more weeks to make it official.
