Time_Keeper
It had been a long time since he had last set his eyes on the face that now lay prone on a bed just a few feet from his reach. Honestly, it felt like just yesterday when he had first met the man he would agree to serve with all his heart and defend no matter the cost. His Prince had not seemed to have aged even a hint, then again, he was technically one of many reincarnations of the original man he had devoted his existence to. Reincarnations always looked like their original, after all that was the purpose of the whole "reincarnation" aspect. And yet, Mikoto couldn't shake the usually hint of longing and happiness he got every time he saw his Prince lifetime after lifetime. To see him alive and well, even if they had never met during a few reincarnations and the man had been oblivious of the existence of his warriors even as they gave their lives for him, was like a breath of fresh air. Just to know that he was living and breathing, unharmed and happy had been motivation enough for Mikoto to keep to his duties of protecting him even from the shadows. However, this time things would be a bit different it seemed. "How are you holding up, Mikoto? the voice of his best friend and right hand man, calmly spoke up from the doorway as the fiery redhead sat on a chair just a few feet from the bed. "I've been better, I guess. I just didn't think that we would have the pleasure of being this close to our Prince in this lifetime. It changes things I suppose" Mikoto murmured in a tone that could have almost been described as holding a lazy sort of drawl to it. Almost as if the effort to speak was to much for him to want to truly bother with. "Yes, it certainly does complicate things. Seeing as he won't remember us, he will surely be quite frightened when he awakens. There will be a lot of explaining to do by the end of this and we'll have to keep a closer eye on him than normal" Yuseki sighed with a thoughtful frown decorating his features. It had been a few lifetimes now that they had gotten a chance to truly interact with their Prince so it would take a bit of time for all of them to adjust again. Humming out a note of agreement even as he crossed his arms over his chest, Mikoto kept his golden eyes trained in the Prince figure on the bed while the noises of soft conversations from the rest of their family floated into the room from deeper inside the house. Hotaru and Toushiro were working on cooking a stew for their Prince for when the man awoke and Hikaru was currently mixing some herbal concoctions in a bowl to apply on the Prince's wound when it came to changing the bandages. Even though there was no frantic running around from what he could tell, Mikoto knew that everyone was feeling a bit off balance at the moment. Especially after getting so close to almost losing the man merely hours ago. Had Yuseki not noticed a disturbance in the forest life, they might have not made it on time. Scowling at thought, Mikoto unfolded one arm and reached into the pocket of his furred jacket to pull out his customary pack of cigarettes. Kyoto would probably give him a lecture about smoking in the house but Mikoto was more than likely going to ignore most of it like he usually tended to do. Besides, smoking kept him calm and relaxed, the family knew better than to take that away from him. Especially when he had nothing else to entertain himself with and napping wasn't an option. He was much to high strung for that.
Yukio Takamiya
Name: Tsukinaga Yuusuke Age: 18 Gender: Male Posiion: Seke Description: Blonde hair, ocean blue eyes, pale skin. Celestial Ability: Light (I wasn't sure what you meant by celestial power. If you meant a kind of celestial ability, I'll be taking Light. But if you meant celestial power in general, I could edit my post.) Weapon: Holy Dagger Personality: Cheerful, but not too cheerful. Serious, but not too serious as well. Yuusuke is often found to be in deep thought, thinking about anything possible that comes to mind. In front of others whom he doesn't trust, Yuusuke puts on a façade. he never knew why it was difficult for him to trust strangers nor when he had developed such a habit. But Yuusuke does act genuinely to those whom have earned his trust. Short bio: Yuusuke comes from a normal family, goes to a normal school and otherwise has a pretty normal life. He has a businessman of a dad, a housewife of a mom, a bratty younger sister and an older brother in university, everything was normal. Then there was himself, a normal highschool student with normal grades and an overly cheerful childhood friend. However, Yuusuke never felt completed with what he had, everything was too normal. He wasn't used to it although he lived normal his whole life. Something was amiss, something he used to have...or rather, someone, people. This feeling always came to Yuusuke very vaguely and he never truly knew what he wanted. Until those dreams came to him, did he link it to what was missing in his life. -------------------------------- At first, everything was black, then he realised that his eyes were closed. It had been a long time since he had slept without having that dream. That dream which was filled with terror, then hope at the very end. Yes...his home town was destroyed, he remembered every detail of that dream clearly. Everyone died, leaving him alone with his demolished surroundings. Then the feared settled in, the despair that left him shivering every time he remembered. And indeed, his body shook literally. He could never see beyond the horizon of the ruins...whether it was more ruins or not beyond, he never knew. Yuusuke wanted so bad to leave but his legs wouldn't take him to a better place. That was when he heard a voice: "It's alright. We're here with you. With us by your side, there is nothing to be afraid of." he turned to see eight silhouettes standing behind him and just the presence of those unknown people soothed him. 'There was hope...' he would wake up with this thought. Yuusuke opened his eyes and bright white lights blinded him. His hand lifted instinctively to shield his eyes from the offending light which he hadn't gotten accustomed to yet after hours of unconsciousness. He tried to sit up...a piercing pain in his side made him fall back on the bed with a cry. Yuusuke's mind was a blur, what happened, when had he injured himself. He struggled to remember, digging into the depths of his mind for an answer. Right....school. He had assignment for school about plant and animal habitats. He entered the forest, a place he hadn't entered since young when his family had gone for a camping trip. But then again, they hadn't gone in very deep and there wasn't much animals and types of plants for him to collect any data. That being the reason, Yuusuke had gone deeper into the denser part of the forest. Lost in his thoughts about his assignment and busy with taking notes, he had gone in too deep unknowingly. The next moment, a strong force struck him and he found himself lying on his back on the forest ground. The creature standing above him was unlike anything he had ever seen. Its pungent breath fanning across Yuusuke's face had him feeling the need to retch but Yuusuke decided that it wasn't safe to make any sudden movements. He analysed the beast before him, trying to contain his fear. It looked like a wolf, hind legs and all. But it didn't have front paws...bears claws replaced them. Eerily, it had a human's torso, only much furrier. Yuusuke didn't know what to make of it. The beast had him trapped and Yuusuke could only watch as it made a swipe at his side, drawing blood. His cry of pain only seemed to add to the creature's delight...then it was ripped away by an unknown force. Yuusuke had blacked out before he could identify his benefactor. Coming back to the current situation, Yuusuke made out his surroundings to be a house of some sort. Two men was in his line of sight...a red head and a raven head. Were they the ones who saved him? Yuusuke didn't think that two men was enough to defeat that beast...although these two did look strong. He opened his mouth to speak, his voice hoarse," you guys are?" Time_Keeper
Blinking out of his thoughts when he heard an eerie familiar yet not really familiar voice speak to them, it took a moment for Mikoto to comprehend that their Lord was speaking to them. Though his voice seemed rather hoarse and there appeared to be pain in his eyes, the blonde seemed overall alright....At least he wasn't dead, that counted for something right? Blinking a few times to clear the shock out of his mind, Mikoto felt Yuseki rest a gentle hand on his shoulder as his best friend murmured softly "I'll get the others". With that, the long haired raven turned on his heel and left the room with a small smile of encouragement and warmth towards the man laying on the bed. Or maybe, not man, more so kid. Their Lord was still rather young at this current time. Taking a deep drag of his cigarette, Mikoto let it out slowly as he looked at the younger man a bit thoughtfully before parting his lips to speak. "My name is Mikoto Souh, the man that just left is called Yuseki. We're the ones that found you with our family and brought you to safety. You don't have anything to be afraid of here, nothing can get to you while you're with us. You have my word" he said, tone never changing or shifting from its rather unique drawl. It was a bit hard to keep his emotions at bay though, especially when their Prince was finally awake and he was speaking to them after so many lifetimes. Being that as it was, Mikoto knew that until the others got to the room, it was best to not pressure their Prince. The kid had been through enough as it was, he didn't need to deal with any more craziness. At least not for now. "How are you feeling? Are your wounds hurting you? My younger brother is making you some medicine as we speak but if you need anything, feel free to let me know" Mikoto added after a moment. Though none of the elements were physically related, they were a family and made sure to let the outsiders know that. Whether some were in relationships with one another or not, they all held firm to the family their Prince had created for them and that would never change. No matter how many centuries passed. It was one of many things they were thankful to the man for.
Yukio Takamiya
This place had a warm atmosphere to it, Yuusuke found that he liked it. He had just met these people but strangely, he didn't feel the usual discomfort he had when meeting strangers. It could be because they saved him but Yuusuke highly doubted it. This Mikoto person even assured him that he would be safe. Yuusuke didn't trust other easily, so why were these people do different? "They just hurt a little," he admitted. "And I appreciate it, thank you." He felt a little awkward, after all, Mikoto did look slightly intimidating to him. Suddenly, Yuusuke sat up with a start, his wound seared with pain and he winced. He just remembered his notes. His oh so important assignment notes which he went through much effort to put together. "My notes! Where are they?!" He asked quickly. Just then, another person entered the room. "I believe this is what you were looking for?" This person who had entered held a stack of papers carefully slotted into a folder. Yuusuke's eyes travelled up to his face. Black hair and the grayest eyes he had ever seen. "My name is Kyoto Kashima," the man introduced himself as he knelt by the bed. "You should be more careful when it comes to entering the forest, wild animals aren't friendly to humans." Yuusuke took the notes and mumbled a 'thank you' before looking down at the sheets, pondering on what he just heard. What he saw was no wild animal. It didn't even seem like something of this world. These people who saved him....they seem to think nothing of such an entity. They made it seem like they were used to it. "The...thing that attacked me. Do you all know what it is? It wasn't a wild animal for sure." Sent from my SM-J110G using Tapatalk
