EmiZea Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Hello everyone Well I have been in here for a few days now, but I thought I should probably introduce myself a little. Anyway, I'm Emi, 31 y/o female, who just got to find out about the excistens of the yaoi world very recently, actually only known about it for around a month now. I have watched anime on and off for a few years tho, but one day when I was looking for a new anime to watch, I came to find 'Koisuru Boukun' and I was hugged. I got curious about this world and started to search about the subject, and somehow that lead me to this page It's still very new to me, so new that when I read the words 'Seme' and 'Uke', I was like .. "Huh? 0_o!" ... *Hugs Google* ^^. So bare over with me if I happens to come with noob questions. So far I have only watched yaoi animes, but not getting into manga and BL drama, I haven't come to that yet, but I will look into it sooner or later. Even tho I am thinking about looking into the mangas, since all my drawings have turned into yaoi too, might be a good way to get even more inspired for my drawing and paintings ^^. So far my list of yaoi/BL/Shounen-ai anime's (that I actually know is in that genre) I have watched isn't that long: Koisuru Boukun Junjou Romantica 1 and 2 Kirepapa Loveless Okane ga Nai! Papa to Kiss in the Dark Togainu no Chi Sensitive Pornograph Enzai Right now I'm watching 'Uragiri wa Boku no Namae o Shitteiru', and I just got Gravitation, so it's just waiting for me to watch it Favorites of all these are definitely 'Koisuru Boukun', 'Uragiri wa Boku no Namae o Shitteiru', 'Togainu no Chi' and 'Junjou Romantica 1 and 2'. These would be good for the start I didn't even know that Koisuru Boukun and Junjou Romantica was there as manga too, but then again, haven't been interested in finding out before now, so I guess that gives me a good reason not to know it ^^. As for manga recommendations, you might wanna check out Yumeka Sumomo's works. Amazing romantic artwork. Very lovable and cute romantic stories.
