BIO:

Born in the run down wasteland that was the future. All newborn baby's had to go through scheduled check ups the day they were born. They would go through a list of tests to see if the child had any special. The possibility of becoming something worth anything. The babies who stood a chance would get a barcode tattooed on their wrists and their medical bills would be covered. The ones who weren't worth anything more than manual labor were given back to their parents and made to pay their medical bill in full. Something that would surely leave them in even more debt than they were already in.

 

Jinx was one such baby. He was taken from his mother to do the tests and never saw her again. He scored high in each of the tests. Higher then seen in a long time. Seeing his potential the doctor's told the new mother her baby died of complications and left the distraught mother alone in the room. Her medical bills paid and her debt wiped. They took the newborn baby to be tattooed with a special bar code. Then handed him off to the government to do as they wished.

 

Jinx was raised by a man named 'Gov' but the boy was raised to call him father. He knew nothing of his birth or the fact that he was taken. He was raised in a facility where he did tests every day. As he grew older Gov learned Jinx had a Fascinating mind. The chip often spoke about numbers he could see in the air above people heads. It wasn't until he was ten that they discovered what the countdowns all meant. The boy could see the time of someone's death and all he needed to do was touch them once and he would see it forever. Such a discovery was not uncommon. Many children were born with small 'gifts' but never before something along the lines of this. The government was thrilled. This was something they could use.

 

When Jinx turned fifteen they forced him into surgery and added his extra parts. Allowing him to literally connect with the internet. It was a common thing to do for the rich and famous. Many people got it done cheap on the black markets. It made it easier for the male to improve his skills. By seventeen he was a pro. Able to take down firewalls faster than the world's best computers could put up. The government had themselves the perfect tool to use as they wished. Even if the boy was hard headed and rude. His personality antisocial and his attitude towards others short. What did they expect from someone raised in a building by a group of scientists and doctors.

 

At eighteen he broke out. How no one saw it coming is mind boggling. He had been planning it for years. Finally, he took his chance and ran. Getting out was surprisingly easy. He never tried to escape before so they didn't have much in his way. Once outside for the first time in his whole life. He disappeared. Blending into the crowds of people. He went to the slums. He got his tracking chip removed and started a new life. One on the run. On the run but free. He lived each day like it was his last. Getting as far away from government buildings and the finer parts of the city as possible. By the time he was twenty-one he mastered the art of staying under the radar. Even with 'Gov' still looking for him each day. He managed to live a somewhat normal life. Struggling for food and shelter like the rest of the people in the slums.
