The food was delicious, and fresh, the croissants, French toast, and eggs were all still very warm. It was so decadent even the fruit seemed too much. One thing he could say for Aerlan was that as unpredictable as it was to be fed, He always fed him very good food. It wasn't the lukewarm protein porridge stewed up for slaves he'd been mostly subsiding on for the past few years. Eating consistently or eating deliciously, it wasn't comparable, was it? Right now, he was so hungry it almost didn't matter what it tasted like until he had enough food in him.

Loe set his own cup besides Aerlan's, looking up hesitantly. He wondered what kind of clothes Aerlan had besides corsets and underwear. Surely he had something appropriate for wearing outdoors, yes? Loethene wasn't going to get his hopes for something modest.

Aerlan dressed himself in a dashing black suit, covering his body nicely. Unfortunately he didn't seem to care for the same fashion on his pets. Loe stepped forward when Aerlan called him over to choose his own clothes from the selection.

Loe didn't last much longer than Arrlan when it came to finding something relatively appropriate and his size. Maybe this was part of why his master only dressed him in underwear. There was a pair of leather shorts that could fit, though, that at least covered part of his thighs. And a purple top. It seemed promising, surprising, until Loe saw that the long-sleeved shirt that would cover most of back had a translucent front! A sheer purple fabric would keep his chest and stomach visible. But, there really wasn't many other options. He also took a pair of underwear to wear underneath it- which seemed novel now. He looked to Aerlan, for approval.

Aerlan watched his pet with a somewhat curious gaze. He thought about considering the leather shorts himself, so they would definitely fit. The shirt seemed most like Loe... And he couldn't deny that he adored seeing his nipple piercings through the fabric like this. The demon nodded, allowing Loethene to dress himself before pulling out a couple of boxes of shoes. Looking through them, he decided on a pair of black platforms where the heel connected with the sole of the shoe. He figured those would be easier to walk in than regular heels and Loe didn't seem to have a problem with those, even.

To finish off his pet's look, Aerlan decided on a black velvet collar with an oval-shaped black diamond hanging from the center. Putting it on the other's neck, he brushed his fingers over his cheek, letting out a smile. "I still want to have your ears pierced. I have so many earrings that I want to put on you..." He trailed off, then let his fingers slide down to skim over his nipple ring. Perhaps tomorrow, since today was meant to be a rewards' day for Loe. "Shall we go, lovely?" He smiled, offering his hand for Loethene to grasp. Aerlan intertwined their fingers before heading out of the bedroom, letting the elf go next to him.

"If we decide to have a picnic, we can buy whatever we want out in town... I don't feel like carrying anything." He hummed out, pulling Loethene close to himself. It didn't even cross his mind to have his pet carry the basket. For him, that wasn't Loe's purpose at all. He opened a door near the main door, revealing a dark green portal. "Hold on tight, kitten." He warned quickly, wrapping his arm tightly around his pet's waist before stepping into the vortex. In just a couple of minutes he stepped down on hard ground again, tightly keeping Loe to himself to help him keep his balance.

"Welcome to town." Aerlan chuckled, letting go of the elf's waist to take his hand instead, leading him through the streets of the city. Surprisingly, every building seemed to be rather modern. What was in them, however, seemed out of place. There were plenty of people selling potions and other substances of all kinds, there were many jewelry merchants, people who sold herbs and plants... "If you see something you like, tell me and I'll get it for you." Aerlan told Loethene, in the meantime walking towards the biggest building seen around. Of course someone like him would only shop in the most expensive shops...

Aerlan wasn't the only one with a pet, either. However, his pet was most likely treated the best. As they walked, they passed demons who led their slaves around naked, some even went as far as punish or fuck them in public. That wasn't to say that Aerlan didn't intend to one day lay his claim on Loethene in public... But not in such a disgracing manner. Many of the pets seemed rather miserable - starved, beaten, chained up. Compared to them, Loethene looked more like a lover to Aerlan than a pet.

Loe sighed, his shoulder relaxing, with Aerlan's approval, and he quickly dressed himself in the scandalous get up. It took a little bit of effort to get into the shorts. They fit him, thank goodness, but leather was a tricky material and he wasn't used to wearing it. The top was certainly less resistant, made with a soft, stretchy fabric with plenty of give- allowing him a lot more freedom to breathe than the corset. He watched as Aerlan pulled out a number of boxes with different types of shoes in them, before setting out a black pair of platforms. Loe slipped them on. The soles of the shoes were heavier than he expected, but they would be easier to keep balance in than the heels he wore for the party. It felt strange to be at this height in comparison to Aerlan while so steady.

It was becoming easier to see that Aerlan was being true when he promised this day for him. He hadn't done or said anything that was for himself and detrimental to Loe's psychological or physical well-being. Aerlan put the collar around his pet's neck. Loe looked up at him when his fingers grazed his cheek. Loe's eyes widened for a second. Piercings… that's right, Aerlan was fond of piercings, he wanted to put more holes in him. His nipples seemed a little lucky at this point, since Aerlan hadn't put them through much after piercing them. Pulling and pinching them a little, adorning them. But with his ears… He'd seen the large, heavy jewelry the demons wore at that party. They tugged, they looked painful. He was concerned that with multiple holes in his ears with multiple earrings of heavy stones would be more than a bit uncomfortable.

He was brought out of his thoughts by a tender touch to one of his nipples. He didn't expect it, since they were getting ready to leave. He nodded, and took Aerlan's waiting hand. He laced his fingers with his. It felt strange. It also felt strange to walk beside him.

Stranger still, was being greeted with a portal when Aerlan opened a door. Loe looked at the demon hesitantly, he'd never seen something like this. He'd seen demons use them, he'd seen other magic means of teleportation, but this would be his first time using a portal. He took a deep breath, not sure what to expect, when Aerlan held him tight, and they fell into the vortex. Was fell the right word? There was nothing under them anymore, but were they falling? The only thing Loe could feel was Aerlan's grip around him. He gasped loudly, desperate for air, after holding his breath for so long. It didn't feel that long in the vortex. Solid ground was underneath him again. He dug his heels in to make sure. The only reason he didn't fall over his own feet was thanks to Aerlan keeping him steady, as he had been leaning forward quite a bit before noticing, and straightening himself.

To Aerlan, it was nothing, though. He took Loe's hand again, and led him down the street, into town. Loethene had never seen it like this, up close, slowly, as another person on the scene, rather than passing by. Loe looked to Aerlan, surprise slapped over his face. He'd by him something? He'd have something? The last thing Loe had owned was the torn tunic. Before then… what did he have before that?

Slaves didn't really own anything, though. A semblance of property was a temporary one given by the grace of their owners. There wasn't a permanent thing Loe would ever own again. But still, the thought made him very happy, to have something of his own. He looked back and forth at the different stores, selling many varieties of different and interesting things, but he could tell from Aerlan's walk that he had a specific location in mind.

It was hard to miss the darker side of the town, however. Loe was far from the only pet brought here today, but he was the only one brought as a guest. He felt overdressed, compared to the others. Many were naked, or in a more lewd state of dress than Loe. He now could understand more of a difference between these sexual, degrading clothes, and the ones he wore now. It had all been similarly humiliating for him, but now, he understood the levels. And not long ago, Loe had his fill of luxury breakfast foods, and a number he saw looked malnourished. He knew many preferred slighter pets than Loethene, but still, quite a few couldn't be healthily the state they were in. His grip on Aerlan's hand tightened each time he caught a glimpse of a pet being fucked, or punished, or a perverse mixture of the two. He hadn't noticed his breathing becoming a little heavier.

Aerlan took notice of his pet's reactions to the slaves around them, but didn't show any reaction to that himself. It was good that Loethene saw how many treated their pets. He would only come to appreciate everything Aerlan did for him now. Letting go of his hand, he instead brought his arm around the elf's waist, letting his hand rest on his hip as if showing his possessiveness of the male. It wasn't like anyone would dare to touch Loethene while they were out in town, but he was known for liking to show off his belongings - and Loe was just that.

Soon enough, the two of them stepped into the shopping center, leaving the slaves and masters behind. Although it was a demons' world, behavior as such wasn't allowed in major buildings. "I hope I can trust you not to try and escape." He muttered out, lightly patting his hip before leading him over to one of the shops. "Let's do it like this. You go around, pick out some clothes you want to try on, I'll do the same and we meet by the changing rooms." He suggested, giving a light smile. It was, in a way, a test. If he could have Loethene obey him without him being around all the time, Aerlan knew he would be able to trust his pet.

After making sure his pet understood, the demon took off. He picked out several pairs of cute underwear, a black, flowy kimono, a couple of shorts, some going down to the middle of his thighs, some just barely covering his ass. Along with those, he grabbed a few shirts he liked - one of which was a sheer white with feather designs stitched on the bottom. And, of course, to top it all off, he found a gorgeous dark green corset with what appeared to be real emeralds placed onto it. With his selection of clothes, Aerlan walked off to the changing rooms. He was willing to wait for ten minutes. If Loethene didn't show up until then, he would have to do something he really didn't want to.

Loe almost took Aerlan's arm around his waist as a motion to comfort him, as he realize he must have been visibly shaken. But he noticed Aerlan had no reaction to any of it, and, like at the party, it was a show of his ownership. They walked into the large building that was surrounded by the smaller market they had just walked through, a large, polished building. Doron society wasn't as modern as many others, so it was quite a marvel to see such a large building, and specifically for commerce. And it was like a sanctuary. The horrors outside seemed to not be allowed in a place like this. It felt so quiet without the background moans and crying from the abused pets. In fact, Loe noticed that there weren't any other pets here, or if they were, they were indistinguishable from their masters. Loe himself could pass as Aerlan's lover at a glance. He had many questions about demonic society.

Loethene nodded solemnly. Escape was the last thing on his mind. Even if this was the best opportunity he'd been presented with, he couldn't imagine actually trying to leave now, like this. After what he saw… he wouldn't get far. Even dressed the way he was, it would still be apparent that it was a Doron running, and Loe hadn't heard of a Doron in this kingdom that wasn't property. And he still didn't know the extent of Aerlan's power… and Loe could all but imagine what Aerlan would do to punish him, considering punishments in the past. Aerlan could certainly trust him to not try to escape.

Loe watched as Aerlan left. It felt so weird now, not being at his side when outside the bedroom. It was… oddly isolating. Even without Aerlan, he felt his control, he felt he was still watching him, somehow. Like the black eye on his neck while he slept… He knew what was expected of him, and Loe chose a direction to start looking for clothes.

Loe was a bit more particular about the things he chose, and wasn't as quick with his decisions. He didn't want to show up with his arms full of clothes when he met with Aerlan, and seem greedy and presumptuous. But what if he took a handful of items and Aerlan rejected them all? Was it a numbers game or was it about the items themselves? He wasn't given an allowed range, which only made things more difficult in assessing what to pick out. He ended picking a conservative number, a pair of sweatpants, a pack of boxers, a long, loose-fitted sleeveless shirt.

Unfortunately, he had no idea that Aerlan had finished, was waiting on him, and had a time limit for him to meet him at the dressing room. So when Loe finally did make his way to the dressing room, he had no means of knowing that he may have overstepped an arbitrary time limit.

Aerlan was leaning against the wall, counting the minutes in his head as time passed. Nine minutes had passed when Loethene finally came. His eyes opened, light relief washing over him. Good, at least he was smart enough to know not to attempt an escape. What made him a little bit more upset, however, was the amount of clothes - and the type - that the elf had picked out for himself. "Why did you only get this much?" He asked at first, lightly holding up the sweatpants with a dissatisfied expression. "I can't see you wearing any of this... Though if you like this, I suppose I'll allow it for when I'm at work. Don't wear this around me, though." He muttered out, pulling Loethene into one of the dressing rooms.

"Here. Try everything on, I'll go change the size if necessary." He spoke up before seating himself down on a bench in the cabin. It was spacious enough for both of them to be in freely, thankfully. "I'm thinking of getting you a suit to match me. If I ever take you to more luxurious events, it could be nice to have you dressed appropriately. Perhaps something a little bit more revealing, however... Ah, we can experiment with looks later." Aerlan finally decided, a small smile pulling at his lips. He leaned back against the mirror carefully, watching closely as Loe tried on different clothes. He motioned for the elf to come closer when he tried anything on, lightly sliding his hands over the clothing, testing out if he liked how it felt.

"I, for one, like all of them. In the next shop, try to pick out more clothes than this... Clothes that you can actually wear out." Aerlan sighed out as he stood up, collecting the clothes to his arms - even the ones Loe picked out, although those were taken with another sigh. He really didn't like them. But... Today was a rewards' day for Loe. He could allow one set of clothes like this. Even if it was absolutely horrendous. After paying for the clothes, Aerlan led his pet over to a different store. "This time, don't come to the dressing rooms until you have at least ten different items. If you see anything you like, take it. Don't look at the price, don't think about anything other than whether you like them. I'll decide if they look good on you."

Loethene frowned as he approached his master, seeing Aerlan's reaction to the clothes he picked out. And he thought the shirt with no sleeves were a bit of a compromise, since the large armholes would expose some of his sides as well. He was vaguely starting to understand what was considered 'exposed' here versus his own culture. Most exposure of skin above the elbow, above the knee, and below the neck was considered rather private. And not because so much of the body was considered sensual, it was just something culturally embedded. He was also surprised that just the amount of items were a problem. Aerlan had gotten so many, did he expect him to match? Then Loe noticed just the kind of clothes he had gotten, and he didn't think it was along the lines of things Aerlan would wear. He was to put on so much himself?! Try on all these different… oh…

"Yes, Master," Loe agreed quietly. He was happy to have something comfortable he could wear leisurely, since last time Aerlan disappeared for work, he was left naked for a week. He hoped, like last time, he'd have enough warning for when Aerlan came back for him to change into something more acceptable.

Loethene just stared at Aerlan for a moment after he sat down. He was going to stay and watch him? After letting him alone to choose clothing, he hadn't expected him to stay while he was in the changing room. He sighed a little, and started to take off his purple top. The shorts gave him a little more trouble.

"I would like a suit…" He answered softly. He presumed it would have to be a revealing option, however one would manage that with multiple layers and pieces. But still, Loe liked the idea of not just wearing sheer fabric over his cock and a corset at parties. Even if it was revealing, at least it'd be more like real clothes. He peeled the shoes off his feet at well. Loe blushed when he realized he didn't have to get fully naked. He could have just taken off the shoes, shorts and panties to try on Aerlan's panties and the shorts and pants! He just automatically stripped naked though, as if it was completely natural to do as Aerlan watched.

Aerlan wasn't a silent spectator, he proved very soon. Once Loe had something on, Aerlan had him come to him, and he ran his hands over the fabric, which seemed much more sensual when he only wore panties or shorts that didn't cover his ass. Aerlan was very good at choosing things Loe's size. Everything was tight, though by design.

Loethene kept his tongue in check, a little upset at how Aerlan was so unfavorable to Loe's choice in clothes, telling him he couldn't wear them out, and insinuating that he'd need to choose more revealing clothes. It seemed a bit maniacal, to have Loethene choose his own embarrassing garments. But he was glad to not say anything or make a sound, because Aerlan still took Loe's clothes along with the ones he chose for his pet. Loe wondered if Aerlan might allow him to wear the boxers instead of panties time to time. Maybe if Loe had been good, and Aerlan still wanted him in a state of nudity…

He put a hand to his chest, as if to stop himself. If he had been good… How mortifying, he was really considering bartering with Aerlan for the privilege of wearing a certain kind of underwear, using his own obedience as currency. Worse still was that it wasn't currency he freely had, as acting otherwise would result in some severe, strange, cruel punishment. He followed Aerlan to a different store, to Loe's amazement. How was he not satisfied with all he had just purchased? This time, he had to have ten different things to try on. The idea of picking clothes he liked seemed a little silly after Aerlan had reacted to the sweatpants and boxers. But he would have to find a way to balance what he liked and what Aerlan would like to see him in. There would be little overlap, so this would take considerably longer.

The reason why Aerlan stayed with Loethene in the first place was to see if he liked how the clothes fit them, and to make sure Loe tried everything on. It was important that he liked how his pet looked, after all. What his pet wore reflected his own style, his personality even. Perhaps with Loe it changed from the usual a bit, as he was opting for more innocent, flowy clothes rather than pure sex, tight clothes that he usually preferred.

Aerlan let the elf wander around the store again, deciding to spend some time in the jewelry department himself at first. He spotted a gorgeous thick golden choker that he took immediately, already imagining how good Loethene would look with it around his neck. It looked so luxurious, too. Such an accessory could glam up even the most boring outfit. Following this, the demon decided to try his luck with a couple of feminine clothes - a long, sheer white dress with wide sleeves, however with open shoulders. It seemed to be a popular look nowadays, and he had to admit that he liked how it looked. As he wasn't sure what he would end up liking on his pet, Aerlan just took a variety of skirts and dresses that caught his eye, along with more shorts and shirts, topping it all off with a big, light brown fur coat. Who knew, perhaps he'd get to travel with his pet, and it wasn't always warm enough for just underwear.

Aerlan walked to the dressing rooms, looking around for his pet. He himself had taken at least thirty minutes to pick out such a collection. He wasn't done yet? The demon sat down on a bench by the dressing rooms, leaning his back against the wall slightly. He obeyed perfectly in the first shop, that wasn't a guarantee that he would continue that way for the rest of their day. God... He hoped that Loethene didn't really attempt to escape. He was in a fairly good mood, he wanted to keep it like that.

Loethene took to the other side of the shop. It seemed fascinating that there were two stores so close to each other that sold more or less the same kinds of things. He recalled Aerlan's rules in his mind. Ten items that he liked. And, of course, he needed to make sure they were something Aerlan would like one him. He was already buying him a few things he disliked, and that he could only wear when Aerlan was away. He didn't want to push his luck, as that seemed to be the only thing to sour Aerlan's mood all day. He tried to put himself in a mindset of what he would choose amongst Aerlan's clothes, like he did earlier.

But Aerlan wanted him to get something he liked as well, right? It was to be a reward for him, after all, he felt that he'd also be disappointed if he brought things Aerlan knew he didn't like. It was a hard balance to strike. Again, it took Loethene considerably longer to decide on ten different pieces than Aerlan. Especially when, after finding four things, he got distracted. A store across the way, displays set at the window, facing out, had something very special: books.

Loe couldn't read as well as he spoke, but something he'd been aching for had been a journal. Since that maid who brought him food while Aerlan was gone let him borrow a book to struggle through, he had missed the feel of the pages, and seeing his own words on the page. He didn't have the prettiest handwriting or the best prose, but he really enjoyed filling up pages with his thoughts on the day, or any topic he could think. There was little time for that when he became a solider, of course, and he hadn't even touched a journal in years. And to be able to see the Doron language written out, even by him. He wondered if Aerlan would allow such a thing.

He looked over his shoulder suddenly, and saw why he felt suspicious. One of the employees of the store was watching him intently. His heart pounded in his head. It must look suspicious, for him to be staring out so intently. To anyone, it would look like he might be planning on running out, as foolish as it would be. She raised something to her mouth, something black. Loe turned back and rushed back towards the clothes section. If she was somehow alerting Aerlan, he'd rather be found in the middle of the store instead of at the entrance.

Loe was a lot less picky in picking out the final six pieces required by Aerlan. No one had come for him in the ten minutes it took him to accomplish this, fortunately.

"Lord Aerlan…" The store manager lowered her head respectfully when she at last found him by the changing rooms. "One of my employees informed me earlier that she saw that pet you brought with you standing at the entrance for a long while. We've kept an eye on him and he's remained in the store, but I thought I should inform you,"

She had gone by the time Loe came to the changing rooms, and he had no idea whether or not he was told about being by the entrance. He really hadn't tried anything, so he wouldn't be angry, right? He hoped he would like his selection, at least. He chose two midriff-baring tops, one with long sleeves that held close to the arm, and the other with sleeves with slits up to the shoulder so it hung loosely. He chose pants again, though they should be more to Aerlan's taste, as the sides were exposed, laced similarly to a corset, and a pair of shorts, not quite as short as the ones he wore now, that were also exposing the sides. He chose a couple pair of panties, one pair had a slightly sheer lace fabric over the back, the other was more plain and conservative, only boasting a ruffle at the waist. Two pairs of black leggings, so that even if they looked sexy, he felt covered up, and a pair of purple ones, and, as an indulgence, he picked out a long, loose nightgown he hoped he could wear to sleep when Aerlan was out for work. Now, it made him a little nervous to include it with his selection.

Aerlan tilted his head when a person walked up to him, expecting to see his pet. His eyebrows furrowed slightly, however, as he realized it was the store manager. Had Loe done something? His eyes widened slightly at the words he heard. "Thank you. I appreciate you taking the time to inform me... Please make sure to stop him at all cost if he tries to escape." He spoke quietly, crossing his legs as he waited for the elf to return to him either by himself or with the employees.

He looked up at his pet when he finally came up to him, a look of irritation mixing with slight anger showing on his face. "I hear you were by the exit. You were supposed to spend your time here looking for clothes... Care to explain?" He asked with a harsh tone of voice. "Was there something you wanted outside? I told you I would get you what you wanted. I even got you those horrid pants." The demon added with a sigh, standing up to walk towards his pet. Seeing as he came himself, he didn't plan an escape, it seemed. Leaving the clothes on the bench, Aerlan tilted Loethene's chin up with his fingers, looking into his eyes.

"I can't imagine you trying to escape, especially not today. However, if you don't tell me what it is that you want, I can't buy it for you." He muttered, leaning in closer to press a light kiss to his lips. By now, his irritation had turned into simple disappointment. He wanted for his pet to be happy today. That was all he needed.

"Of course, my lord," The manager replied, lowering her head again. "We'll be watching him closely," She was visibly relieved that the tenseness of his face when she approached didn't stay for long when she relayed the news. Aerlan had a fierce reputation, and she was under the impression that he could react poorly to even the most minor inconvenience.

Loe could feel the intensity in the air as he approached Aerlan before he saw the look on his face. Did someone tell him he was by the exit? Or maybe he took too long and made him wait? Either way, he saw that Aerlan was not happy with him at all, and was quick to let him know why. Loe couldn't help but wince at the anger in his voice. Did he think that Loe was plotting an escape? Or daydreaming about it, at least? Would even the idea of it be a punishable offense? Loe's chest tightened, he hadn't really even done that, but that would be hard to prove if Aerlan decided thats what he was thinking of.Aerlan was very perceptive, though. Loe's eyes widened when Aerlan guessed that he was distracted by something that he wanted, and looked down again when Aerlan stood up and walked towards him. Aerlan's fingers slipped under Loe's chin, and made him look up once more. Relief swam in his expression when Aerlan told him he didn't think he was planning to escape him. He still sounded disappointed, but he even kissed him.

"It was…" He was hesitant to admit what it was he wanted. His former masters never entertained the idea of allowing their slaves to have a journal. It was too empowering, it was something they owned, and it was also something they created. His first master especially disliked them having or creating anything themselves. He'd seen many things destroyed when they were found. Some, he knew, would bury their creations or otherwise hide them just to prevent them from being destroyed. A small act of rebellion.

Then again, this was Aerlan's first time being someone's pet. Pets were afforded more luxuries, maybe asking for a journal wouldn't be out of line.

"It's…I...I want a journal, Master." He finally concluded.

Aerlan's lips parted with a soft exhale when he finally heard his pet's wish. "That's what got you so distracted?" He asked, amusement seeping into his voice. "We'll go pick one out for you after this shop, then. You can get supplies to write... Or draw, whatever you want with, too. Don't be scared of asking for such things." He muttered, catching his lips into a longer kiss before finally pulling away. "Go on, now. Try on what you've picked and see if the clothes I have suit you." He hurried the elf into one of the changing rooms, hanging his choices on the wall before seating himself in the cabin just like before.

Aerlan had to admit that he was a lot more satisfied with what Loethene had picked out this time. One thing he didn't like whatsoever was the nightgown. "No. This one won't do. We can find something similar, but... This one I can't have you wearing, even without me around." He decided firmly, putting it away. He didn't mind Loethene wearing long clothes, but that thing was like a bag on his body. It simply wouldn't do. The demon watched curiously as his pet tried on the dress. It made him look like a spirit straight out of a dream. Aerlan's lips pulled into a smile as he pulled the elf a bit closer after standing up, sliding one hand to the back of his neck. "I want you to wear this for the rest of our day." He muttered out, closing the distance between their lips with a soft kiss.

Loethene really wasn't like any pet he'd owned before. He was so unique... Aerlan really did feel different when with him. He didn't feel like he was with a pet, even. By now, Loethene was almost like a lover for him instead. He pulled away from his body with a soft exhale, letting his fingers run over his hair for a moment before sitting back down. The demon seemed to be in a good mood once more. His expression softened as he watched his pet try on the other clothes. Hell, even his style seemed to have changed when it came to the elf. While he couldn't deny that he loved seeing Loe in revealing, tight clothes, they weren't fit for an everyday basis. Especially not when they went out. No... His pet needed something a bit more conservative to match his body, face and personality. Gods, this almost felt like a challenge by now.

Loe's eyes widened again, and he almost stepped back in surprise, rolling on his heel slightly. Aerlan didn't even question or hesitate to agree to getting him a journal and related accessories. He made it sound like it was ridiculous for Loe to be so nervous over asking. It made him feel a bit embarrassed, but Aerlan made it seem like the most natural thing in the world to give him something like that. The clothes he was getting, even the stuff Aerlan hated, didn't really feel like his, since he didn't have much control over them. When Aerlan kissed him again, Loe leaned into him more than before, as a silent thanks. There seemed to be two Aerlans, one he feared and one he felt comfortable with. He was going to enjoy the rest of his 'reward day' with this Aerlan.

Loethene didn't really mind Aerlan discarding the nightgown, not now. Of course he was promised 'something similar', and all he really wanted was something more conservative and comfortable to sleep in when allowed. Again, Loe undressed, and he expected Aerlan to 'inspect' everything as he did before, but the dress, white and flowing, made Aerlan stop. Loethene was very surprised that Aerlan would choose it. Yes, it was quite sheer in some places, but that's all it really had to offer Aerlan's sensibilities, Loe presumed. But maybe he was wrong about the things he liked. It wasn't as if his home was covered with pornographic images or anything.

There was definitely something about the dress Aerlan really seemed to be drawn to. Loe closed his eyes, lowering his head a little when Aerlan put his hand to the back of his neck. Loe smiled bashfully, despite himself, at the thought, that Aerlan liked him in it so much he wanted him to wear it for the rest of their outing, before Aerlan took his lips with his. He was very affectionate today, and not in the possessive ways he had done in the past. He was genuine, and gentle.

"I thought I got to choose what I wore today," Loe teased breathily when the kiss broke.

Loe was careful while taking off the dress. It was quality material, but it appeared so fragile. He continued to go through the clothes periodically, as they had done before. He felt less embarrassed this time. Maybe he was getting used to it, was all. Wasn't that something that should be alarming? That he was so used to Aerlan's inspecting of him, what he wore, being watched during something rather intimate? He reminded himself that he was going to enjoy today. If there was peace, he'd be peaceful. Only one of the shirts Loe picked out didn't fit- the sleeves were too tight he could barely get his arms in them at all, but the rest suited him, and Loe changed back into the white dress.

Aerlan scoffed slightly at the teasing comment. "This may be a day for you, but don't get too cocky." He warned his pet, though he ran his hand over his hair rather lovingly even so. The feelings he may have had for Loe didn't change their relationship. It wasn't enough to make him into his lover or change his rank in any way. Loethene would still be his pet, something that he owned and therefore could use however he wanted... But, of course, compared to many other pets, Loe would be leading a much better life. Aerlan was generous to those he truly appreciated, and Loe just happened to be one of them.

"Oh, kitten, I still need to pay for that." Aerlan chuckled, stopping his pet from getting into the dress again. Once everything was paid for, however, he allowed the other to get into the dress, lightly trailing his fingers over the exposed shoulders before wrapping his arm around his waist. All the bags he was carrying in his hand, which had morphed into a much wider limb, making it easier to carry everything while making sure nothing was dropped. Their next stop had to be the bookshop, where Loethene could pick out a journal and whatever else he wished for.

"Take your time. I'll go see if they have some books I've been waiting for... Find me once you're done." He told the elf before leaving him to choose his items by himself. Aerlan himself walked off to the back of the shop, with books that didn't seem like they were meant for leisure reading. The books here seemed more like spellbooks, books of dark magic, alchemy and so on. Aerlan was interested in books about necromancy at the moment. He was aware of the many dangers that came with the art, but... Perhaps he could try his luck at it. It seemed like a fun hobby, at least for him. Who knew? Maybe he would end up using these skills for something important one day. Before leaving the section of books, Aerlan's eyes clocked in on a golden quill. Perhaps Loethene would appreciate it? The demon leaned in, gently picking it up before inspecting it from all angles. It looked like a work of art... Certainly, an item like this would bring inspiration. He was certain his pet would like it.

Loe's face fell for a moment, until Aerlan reached his hand and gently stroked his hair. He still knew it was a warning, of course, there was only so much leeway he predicted Aerlan was going to allow him today. And while Aerlan was treating him much more kindly than those outside, his position was no different from theirs. He was still a pet, and he knew better than most just how fickle his master could be. Still, Loe found that Aerlan was still maintaining his good mood with ease today.

Sheepishly, Loe stopped changing, only getting back into the dress once Aerlan had paid for it and handed it back to him, and they at last left the store, and headed towards the bookstore. Not only was Loe eager to get a journal for himself, but he was also a little relieved to be done trying on clothes -and what Aerlan called clothes. Having to change in front of Aerlan, presenting himself, being felt up each time… well, it'd make for an interesting journal entry. But he was glad it was done.

They walked into the bookstore, and Loe eyes a number of books with their covers on display, only able to read a marginal number at a quick glance. He nodded when Aerlan left him, telling to find him in his own time once he picked out a blank book. There was a generous selection of journals, with different covers and bindings, and even different page types. Not just blank, but there were lined, grid, dotted, numbered pages. He wasn't sure what purpose grids or dots may serve, but it was interesting that it was even an option. He did eventually settle on a journal he liked, in had a rather plain cover, but the spine of it was a dark burgundy color with a faint pattern, and wrapped around, slightly overlapping, the front and back covers.

He wasn't particularly interested in the more fanciful pens on display nearby, but he also didn't think Aerlan would be satisfied with him if he brought a cheap pack of twelve with him. So he selected a thick, and rather garishly floral, pen from the available selections, and went to find Aerlan. This store was really large, so it wouldn't be easy, since he could be anywhere. When there were changing rooms, it was easier to know where to go, but Aerlan could be searching for his books at any given aisle.

Aerlan turned to step out of the aisle just to find himself face-to-face with an old acquaintance of his. His lips parted with a quiet exhale. "Little brother." He muttered out, staring into what quickly became an exact replica of himself. "Every time I see you, you look less and less pleased to see me." His clone scoffed before letting the disguise melt away, revealing what appeared to be a teenage boy. His brother, Zupay, had long, dark green hair, shining golden eyes and a pale blue-toned skin. He was significantly shorter than Aerlan, most likely shorter than Loethene as well.

"Well, Zuzu," His brother seemed to scowl at the nickname, "Last time I saw you, it was when you were ripping out the throat of a beloved pet of mine. I did not exactly appreciate that... It's so nice to see that you still idolize me, however." Just as the man stopped talking, he noticed the elf. Instinctively, he walked up to Loethene, protectively pulling him behind his back. "Oh? Who's that? He's so not your style..." Zupay purred out, skipping up to them both, curiously tilting his head to the side to observe the elf behind his brother. "I guess he is kind of cute. I liked the vampire better, though-... Oh, wait, that was the one I killed, wasn't it? Sorry." The younger demon laughed, while Aerlan's grip on Loethene's hand tightened.

"Do you mind? We have things to do." He spoke in a threatening voice, one that made his brother grin, throwing his hands up as if surrendering. "Of course, Lord Aerlan. I wouldn't want to get in the way of your plans... If your pet ever gets tired of you, though, I'll gladly take him off your hands. I'm a much better person than he is, lovely." Aerlan's lips parted, revealing two sets of sharp teeth, perfect for biting one's head off - literally. Clearly, he didn't have the best relationship with his family.

Loe finally spotted Aerlan, the demon had already seen him and was making quick pace towards him, he didn't look happy. Loethene was understandably trouble by this, wondering what he could have done wrong. He grimaced when Aerlan grabbed him somewhat forcefully, but Loe was quick to realize that his problem was with this blue-tinted stranger Aerlan was shielding him from. Loethene stared at him for a while, wondering what their relationship was like, it was obviously very tense, so he didn't imagine it was a positive one. The strange demon assessed him as well, enough to determine that he wasn't Aerlan's tastes. How well did he know him? Because Loe would have never guessed, except for maybe the limited wardrobe choices he could fit, that he wasn't his type based on how he acted.

Loe tried not to show the alarm on his face, though his eyes widened when he mentioned killing a former pet. One Aerlan held dear, considering how he hand tighter around his.

Loe looked away at the 'offer'. Though in the pit of his stomach, there was really know telling who was better. Aerlan had slain his own pets as well in the past, and he's threatened to kill him, too. Of course, it wasn't as if he was taking it seriously, he was obviously just trying to upset Aerlan. It was just something to contemplate. Aerlan had been incredibly kind and generous today, but as he had made it clear, that could change pretty easily, and it was best to keep that in mind.

He looked at Aerlan, wondering what he would say now. Loe was curious about this demon, but wasn't sure if that was a story Aerlan would tell.

Aerlan's eyes narrowed as he stared at his brother, who finally decided to leave. Thank God. He exhaled slowly, turning around to lightly take his pet's chin and kiss him. "I won't let you wander around alone now." He muttered out, closing his eyes for a few moments before taking in a deep breath to calm himself down. The demon looked down before raising the hand which was holding the golden quill. "I thought this could be a nice addition to the journal." He muttered out with a light smile before leading Loethene off to pay for their purchases.

"Okay, now... Last thing for today. Shoes." Aerlan huffed softly as he wrapped an arm tightly around his pet's waist, leading him off to a shoe shop. There, he walked with his pet, allowing him to make some suggestions as well. He seemed to be a lot more picky here, however, than he was with clothes. Either the heel was the wrong height, or he didn't like the tip of the shoe, there seemed to constantly be something that he disliked. In the end, he managed to settle on four pairs of shoes - two with high heels, one pair of platformed sandals and another pair of elegant-looking creamy tuxedo shoes. When he found those, he was reminded of the promise to buy his pet a suit.

"Do you still feel like going to pick out a suit?" Aerlan asked as he looked down at his pet, lightly running his fingers over his cheek. He was willing to let Loe make this decision, purely because he himself couldn't make up his mind. He wanted to buy everything they needed today, but at the same time, he didn't want to risk encountering his brother again... Really, that man was a recipe for tragedy. He'd never really had a good relationship with any member of his family, but Zupay was someone he detested especially.

Loe also stared at the stranger, the air between the demons felt so tense he was close to using pheromones in hopes of changing it. But he didn't know what had caused such an atmosphere, and Aerlan might suspect the sudden change of mood was because of him, and he might not appreciate it. And he definitely didn't want to risk irking him when he was already so sour. But the green-haired demon finally took his leave, and he felt Aerlan's tenseness seep from his body. Loethene was very curious, but kept his questions to himself.

He leaned his head back at the gentle touch to his chin for the kiss. He nodded in understanding. It was very apparent that the demon that put Aerlan on edge could very well target Loe if he found him alone. Loe looked at the quill, amazed that a golden one existed. It seemed far too elegant, it was weird that Aerlan had thought of him when he saw it. Of course, he'd proven time and time again he liked showing off his wealth on his pet. But this was different, this was something for him to own. It helped Loe feel a little more relaxed, too.

"Thank you," He told him, following him to check out.

Loe couldn't help but notice that the confrontational demon before shared his hair and eye color. That's where the similarities stopped, but he noticed. He doubted something so minor was indicative of anything, but the possibility was there. He was grounded in reality when Aerlan's arm at his waist tightened, and took him to a new store to pick out some shoes. It was very different from clothes shopping. For one, they stayed together, and Aerlan even allowed Loe to make suggestions or even choose between two varieties of the same type of shoe. Trying them on was much less personal, as well, since they weren't tucked away in private rooms, and he wasn't undressing, nor was Aerlan running his hands over his body almost the entire time. They ended up with four pairs of shoes by the time they left.

Loe looked up at Aerlan when he stroked his face. They had picked out a nice pair of tuxedo shoes, and Loethene did want a suit. The more he adjusted to shopping with Aerlan, he had found himself enjoying it a bit. But he was getting a bit fatigued of it all, and he could tell that Aerlan had reservations about it himself. That man from before really dug at him, and he had only just recovered from a severe emotional blow, and who knew what might happen if they ran into him again.

"I'm a little tired," Loe told him. "Can we go back?"

Aerlan was a bit taken aback by his pet's answer. "Go back? Home, you mean? No, no. I promised I'd take you out somewhere in the nature... Don't you want to have a picnic?" The demon asked in the slightest bit of confusion as he pulled his pet towards himself, shaking his head. "Let's get home for a few minutes. I'll put away the purchases and then we can go out, have some time for ourselves." He suggested, already leading the elf towards one of the portals. What he decided was most likely going to happen, anyway, so he didn't even bother asking Loethene if he agreed or not.

"Oh... Do me a favor. If you ever see that person again, tell me immediately, no matter what. If he comes to the mansion without me there, tell the maids and they will hide you. I can't have something happening to you." Aerlan spoke in a quieter voice, his expression stiff. "Honestly... Sometimes I think I'm the nicest person in my family." He muttered out, more to himself than to his pet. If Loe was to ask around the servants, he would surely get to know more about his Master's life, both present and past. He pulled the elf through the portal, soon landing inside the house again, his arm wrapped tightly around his waist. "Don't ever try to go through this without me, either." He warned Loethene, finally letting go of his waist. "If you're not experienced enough, you'll just end up in the void. There's no coming back from there." The demon murmured, walking upstairs to put away their purchases. The more was revealed about him, the more vulnerable he felt. He didn't like that feeling whatsoever.

Loe was a little startled at Aerlan's reaction, since he had thought he'd want to go back to the mansion. He had forgotten about the outing in nature, about the picnic, in all the excitement today. He was a little less excited for it now, after that encounter. Something about the shorter demon left a bad taste in his mouth. Aerlan told him he'd take him home first, and led them to a portal. He frowned, wondering why Aerlan had led him through the outer market earlier, if there were portals here at the mall. It must have been in order to showcase the other pets in juxtaposition to how he was being treated now. That seemed quite like him, to play such mind games even on his reward day.

With a shaky sigh, Loe nodded. He was really unsettled by the mysterious demon that had Aerlan so tense. He, of course, was a little scared, too, if Aerlan, as powerful as he was, felt so threatened, felt that Loe was at such risk. He'd always thought the biggest risk to him was Aerlan himself, but now he realized he'd have to balance that with relying on him for protection. He was a target for dangerous demons because of Aerlan, and needed him to keep him safe from the threat he was somewhat responsible for, while posing his own threat. It was like Loe was more entangled in a spider's web.

"Who was that?" Loe asked him, thinking he was owed some explanation about the man who just threatened his life. It took him only a moment to realize that Aerlan wouldn't see it that way, and wouldn't appreciate the assumption that he owed his pet anything, especially not when he was in this sort of mood, and perhaps not in the best mindset to be explaining anything this sensitive, either. "I-I'll need his name to tell you or the staff if I do see him," He corrected himself quickly.

Loe held close to Aerlan as they went through the portal, still finding the sensation unnerving. Loe glanced back at the door that contained the portal at Aerlan's warning. He had mused the idea of using it for a potential escape, if he had any idea of how to use it. But the idea of getting stuck in the void, that senseless existence, was enough to swear him off of it. Anything Aerlan wanted to do to him would be better than that. He followed Aerlan up the stairs, making a mental note that he seemed allowed to walk whenever he was wearing shoes. He'd been chastised before for standing before Aerlan, and there weren't many rules that were clearly explained to him, so he needed to take notice when he noticed a pattern.

  • 2 weeks later...

Aerlan didn't respond to Loethene's question right up until they were both in the bedroom. He let out a heavy sigh, seating himself down on the bed. Before saying anything, he beckoned his pet to come sit on his lap. Wrapping an arm around his neck, the man pressed a soft kiss to his neck, relishing in the quiet moment of peace for a while. "All you need to know about the man you saw is that he is dangerous. His name is Zupay. He's... Also my biological brother." There appeared to be disgust riling up inside the demon as he stated the fact. Pulling back a bit to look at the elf, he lightly took his chin to place a kiss to his lips.

"He has a tendency to go after my pets. Some he steals for himself, some he simply kills. He's a sweet-talker, but all he says is lies. Do not trust him, no matter what he says. Do you understand?" Aerlan asked in a quiet, but harsh tone of voice. "I want you to memorize the people working in this mansion, as well as all of their names. If you ever see someone new, someone you don't recognize, hide. He's never been bold enough to attack me in my own home yet, but... I just want to make sure you're safe." Aerlan muttered out, pressing another kiss to his lips. "You understand this, don't you?" This time, his voice was softer, gentler. There seemed to be genuine concern in the way he spoke. He couldn't have Loethene taken away from him. There was something about the elf that drew him closer and closer to him. He needed to have Loe to himself, no matter what.

((I'm really sorry for taking so long to reply. School is beginning to take up more and more of my time and stress has been adding up as well. It's very likely that I won't be quite as active as I used to be until July or so, when all my exams will have finished. I hope you can be patient with me

Aerlan didn't answer him. Loethene wondered if he simply didn't want to, or if he was angry with him for asking, or if it was because he needed to concentrate for the portal, or for an unknown reason entirely. It didn't take long for them to get to the bedroom, and Aerlan separated himself from Loe in order to sit on the bed. When beckoned, Loe lifted his dress a little as he sat in his lap to avoid putting unnecessary strain on it, giving him more room in it. Aerlan pressed his face to Loe's neck, kissing him softly. Loethene noticed that he was getting more used to it, and not repulsed or concerned by his tender affections. He also noticed that Aerlan had shown quite a bit of restrain, all things considered, so he really intended to honor today as his reward day.

Loe tensed in Aerlan's lap when he told him it was his brother. He emphasized biological. Zupay, his brother… his own brother… He shouldn't be so shocked that they were brothers with their cruel natures, and it was natural to think they'd turn on each other, but… still. Killing people to get to someone else, especially to your own brother was unspeakable. Though, the 'people' in question were pets. Aerlan seemed to want to rid himself of the negativity this Zupay filled him with by focusing on gentle kisses and touches.

Loe closed his eyes, and nodded. He did understand, and he planned on being very careful from now on. But memorizing everyone's names and faces… he didn't even know how many people worked here! He doubted he had met or seen them all, that would be the most difficult part. And how would Aerlan be sure he was sufficient enough? Maybe he wouldn't be evaluated, though, Aerlan would just have him learn on his own.

Typically, Loe would be more cynical about all this, as Aerlan was plenty heartless himself, and had killed his own pets before, and had threatened the same to the one he treated so well now. But there was such earnestness in his voice, his face, he couldn't bring himself to truly believe Aerlan wasn't genuine. Uncharacteristically, Loethene rested his head against Aerlan's shoulder affectionately.

"I'll do my best to stay safe," He promised in a whisper.

((It's fine, I presumed you just got really busy ^v^ Good luck with everything, I hope you're not becoming too stressed out :( And I can always be patient ~~))

Aerlan breathed out softly as he finally got a whispered out response. The way Loethene rested his head against his shoulder brought a sense of relief, soothing him down little by little. He brought his hand up, slowly running his fingers through his green hair. "That's all you need to do. Stay safe, and by my side." He murmured quietly, lightly turning his head to press a kiss to his pet's head. He really felt out of it today. He didn't like the way he was feeling one bit. His hands slowly slid down to the elf's thighs, resting there as he began kissing down from the elf's ear to the base of his neck.

"Take the dress off." He muttered out, helping his pet get rid of the garment. The demon breathed out slowly, pressing his lips against the other's skin, slowly exploring every inch of it, lightly brushing over the nipple rings, letting his tongue peek out as if greeting the pink nubs. "After this we can decide whether we're staying in for the rest of the day or not." He murmured out, as if this explained everything before swiftly pushing Loethene down on the bed, continuing to kiss over his skin, his eyes closed as he took in the taste and smell of his elf, letting his lips wander everywhere from his thighs to his lips. Whenever he returned to their plumpness, he found himself in awe. He wasn't sure why they tasted this good in the first place, but he couldn't get enough.

Aerlan just needed to take off some stress. He didn't want to speak any more. Taking a bottle of lube, he poured it out on his fingers, slowly pushing them inside his pet's body one by one. He never stopped his kisses. By then they were focused more on Loethene's shoulders, chest, neck and face as opposed to being scattered all over his body. He wanted to make sure his pet felt good this time. It was his rewards' day, after all. Aerlan extended his fingers deeper into his body, aiming to stimulate the elf's prostate from every possible angle. He wouldn't actually start fucking him until he was fully hard.

Loe felt Aerlan's chest depress as he breathed out. He felt his shoulder relax a bit, as well, when he rested against him. It was so strange to see Aerlan like this, still, even though he largely understood the danger he could be in, but he couldn't seem to match Aerlan's state. Maybe it was to counteract his sorrow, or maybe he didn't really understand why Aerlan was this deeply troubled. Loe knew that he was something Aerlan liked a lot, his latest pet, but they both knew that his interest was going to be temporary. He was a shiny new toy, and was his shine dulled, so would Aerlan's feelings.

He closed his eyes when Aerlan kissed his face, stroked his hair. But, as they were now, Loethene could let himself believe things could stay this way. He relaxed more into Aerlan's embrace, before Aerlan's hand found it's way past the slit in the dress, and trailed over his thigh. Loe kept his eyes closed until Aerlan told him to take the dress off, the natural conclusion, though Aerlan practically took it off himself. After today in the changing room, Aerlan would have more familiarity with how the dress was taken on and off than Loe did. Aleran's lips found their way to his skin once more, moving down to his chest, Loe could feel his nipples stiffen before Aerlan even got to them. Then Aerlan pushed him to the bed. Loe gasped softly as he hit the soft bedding, though he wasn't exactly surprised. What was surprising, though, was that Aerlan's mouth found their place on his skin again quickly, tasting his thighs. Further still, Aerlan's lips moved up to his upper back, his shoulders, his neck, his face, while his fingers, slippery with lube, made their way into his ass.

When was the last time Aerlan had done that? Taken lube on his fingers, and stretched him open himself? He couldn't remember, this was likely the first time, or at least a rarity. Maybe because it was his reward day, or Aerlan was not as spirited as usual, but Aerlan hadn't put so much importance on lube or preparing his pet before. Loethene grunted lightly when he felt Aerlan's fingers go in further than his natural reach, deeper than he'd ever felt something as slight as a finger in those areas, the pressure concentrated against him, instead of a thick toy or cock pushing against his entirety all at once. Loethene felt himself growing hard against the comforter, his body growing warmer.
